The Investigation & Case Study of Amateur Journalist Christian Hacking Part I: The Lack of Christian Brotherly Love

Christian Hacking presented himself to Lighthouse Global as an independent, Christian journalist. But as we only later found out, he had a vested interest in reporting on Lighthouse; he needed and wanted us to be a cult. He needed and wanted Paul S Waugh to be the cult leader. It suited him for the sake of his amateur journalistic career to have this big scoop (no matter how false and deceptive) at Paul’s and Lighthouse’s expense. Hence, therein lies the Judas Syndrome. Given his deceptive and cynical intentions as well as his sheer lack of professionalism, lack of audience and reach, Lighthouse decided that we could not work with him. Mr Hacking is at the least demonstrating a petty vendetta, if not the possible marks of being a media plant by the BBC. If Mr Hacking is trying to misrepresent and smear Christian communities as cults because of his own agenda rather than any genuine thorough investigation, then this must be put to an end now. This is the reason for this investigation and case study into him.

Why This Investigation and Case Study is Needed

This is the first instalment of our investigation into—and case study of—Christian Hacking. Here we share evidence and facts, and the reality of what has occurred from our experiences with him.

These insights expose a real, living example of the Judas Syndrome. We publish them first in the earnest hope that Mr Hacking repents of the damage he has done—and has said he will do. We also publish them to warn and strengthen the Body of Christ, so believers recognise this pattern not as theory, but as reality.

Christian Hacking may be an amateur journalist who writes about Christian issues. But he is evidently not a Christian journalist, as you will see in this article and in our entire series dedicated to this case study. If anything, the danger he poses is even more insidious and pernicious than a mainstream journalist; presenting himself as a bastion of truth and righteousness, in the name of Christ, while conducting himself in ways that are woefully anti-truth, anti-reality, anti-love and anti-Christ.

This is not to say whether or not he truly is in Christ —that is between him and God. And we pray earnestly that indeed he is, and that he repents for his violations of Christ first and foremost.

In his latest publication, Mr Hacking has focused on Lighthouse (which you will see he has misspelt despite several corrections on previous occasions) to portray us as an “alleged cult” with zero intention to explore the reality of what we truly are, which is a purpose-built community. This preamble alone, taken from his article, “Clutching at CULT Strings” is full of falsehoods, misleading statements and errors:

Preamble: In early Feb three members of the coaching company and alleged cult, Light House Global, were each issued 200 hours of community service and £764 costs for attempting on three occasions to doorstep a BBC journalist. I followed the case over several months and was given unique access to the company CEO and alleged cult leader Paul Waugh.

Addressing such falsehoods and misleading statements is not about Mr Hacking. It is about the wider, orchestrated attack on purpose-built communities and close-knit groups that do not suit the top-tier Establishment agenda. They are branding any such group, or even a business or political party as an “alleged cult”. This has been the trend for the last five years at least, as a means of controlling the mainstream narrative to ensure that their ideology is preserved and anyone who opposes it, even non-Christians, are ostracised and smeared irreparably.

Context: Paul S Waugh’s First Message and Prayer to Christian Hacking

Below is the first audio Paul S Waugh sent to Christian Hacking after learning Mr Hacking intended to cover the court trial involving Kris Deichler, Jatinder Kamra and Sukh Singh vs the CPS and BBC journalist Catrin Nye. Mr Hacking also said he was struggling to support his family. We share these audios and revelations out of respect—and deep concern for everyone involved.

During this time, Paul was especially stricken and severely exhausted due to a vicious concoction of illnesses and ailments. Paul’s condition was as a direct result of the excruciating weight of the onslaught of attacks on him, his family and on Lighthouse that had been taking place for years.

These attacks came directly from UK government agencies including the Insolvency Service, as well as the BBC and other mainstream media outlets.

Why was Lighthouse Global so badly attacked? Because through 21 years of experiential research, Lighthouse has uncovered the root reasons, means and tactics as to how the top-tier Establishment has severely limited and restrained the bottom-tier masses, to be what Paul calls the “Bonsai Generation”; where human beings are so stunted and unable to realise their God-given potential. The Establishment knew what we were about to release to the masses, and so in an extreme effort to shut us down completely and prevent us from scaling globally, they attacked us through government and mainstream media agencies, spending between them all, we estimate tens of millions of pounds to try and destroy us.

NB: We will be providing everyone the opportunity to receive the critical findings of our research, which are absolutely damning in what the top-tier Establishment have actually done to us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

In light of these attacks, Christian Hacking was the very first journalist who came in the name of support and truth toward Lighthouse. He was invited to speak with Lighthouse Associates freely in the courthouse during breaks and debrief meetings on trial hearing dates taking place from July 2025 to January 2026. Dozens of predatory mainstream journalists had sought to devastate and ruin Paul’s reputation, his life, his family, his safety and his health. Mr Hacking did not present himself as a mainstream journalist. He presented himself as a struggling amateur journalist, who wanted to help us as a Christian. Paul therefore took a huge personal risk by communicating with Mr Hacking, a largely unknown quantity, but someone who was coming in the name of Jesus Christ. Why would Paul not want to embrace a brother coming to support and help champion our case? Yet unbeknownst to Paul at the time, Mr Hacking is a self-identified “very amateur” independent journalist, with very little reach or influence.

Paul’s Concern for Christian Hacking: A Message of Christian Love

In the audio below, you will hear Paul’s earnest concern for Christian Hacking, his personal situation and his involvement in covering the court trial. Specifically, Paul deeply cared about his safety and that of his family. Paul not only reflected on, but discussed this in depth on numerous occasions with the wider Lighthouse team and directly via audio to Mr Hacking himself…

• Was Christian Hacking able to support his family?
• Was he prepared for the possibility of the BBC smearing him because of his association with Lighthouse?
• Was he prepared to have his family’s personal lives exposed, possibly having them doxed?
• Was he prepared for the strong possibility of anonymous death threats coming to him and his family, as Paul and Lighthouse had received in the hundreds?
• Was he prepared to lose income and clients over his work covering the trial, just as Lighthouse had suffered financially from the BBC and UK Government attacks?

How would you feel receiving this message and specifically, this prayer?

How would you feel if you were genuinely seeking the truth and treated Paul as a brother in Christ first and foremost?

Compare that to how you would feel if you already had a target on Paul’s back? It would be near-impossible to even hear the person you were planning to character-assassinate, while they prayed for you.

What Christian Hacking’s (Non) Response Reveals

Here is Mr Hacking’s response to Paul’s heartfelt message…

While Mr Hacking acknowledged Paul’s prayer—much as someone might politely acknowledge a door being held open—he did not reciprocate love, care, compassion, or even prayerful intent in return. This was in October 2025.

Over the following four months, Paul sent Mr Hacking around 2.5 hours of audio, including multiple prayers and prayerful intentions. In that entire period, Mr Hacking sent nothing back to Paul of genuine concern—beyond a cursory social remark. He ignored and dismissed much of what Paul sent him (as we will show in due course through further articles)

This is vital context because it is not a one-off incident, but a consistent pattern of a very amateur journalist with a pseudo-Christian brand. No human being should ever be judged for their character based on a single incident—yet this is precisely how mainstream media and modern culture often operate: to cancel, silence, censor, outcast and demonise individuals based on selective and isolated incidents. Indeed, Paul knows this tragically more than most because he has been the target of such an ad hominem attack. The BBC are dark, insidious masters at this.

Indeed one of the very reasons this investigation and case study is so needed, is because Christian Hacking has falsely and deceptively decided on who Paul S Waugh is, before he met him, during the time he was “investigating” Lighthouse and more so, afterwards! One of the most fascinating insights from the 150 questions that Mr Hacking sent, is that he did not ask one question about Paul’s personal relationship with God. This is not just a case of a lack of Christian spirit in the journalism… it is a case of a gross lack of Christian spirit in the person. If not, then he has a different personality for the predatory journalism.

Why Would Christian Hacking Not Care About Paul S Waugh?

One of many hundreds of questions we have for Christian Hacking is, where was his constructive, self-sacrificing love for Paul?

If it is because he genuinely believed/believes that Paul S Waugh is a controlling, nasty cult leader… then surely Mr Hacking ought to be loving and praying for Paul as a Christian brother even more, not less? What became apparent is that Mr Hacking needed this fabricated story of Paul being a cult leader. He had already decided to position himself as the saviour of the Body of Christ against a cult. He had decided that this would get him “on the map” of journalism after years of failure. He did not want to let Paul, or Paul’s genuine faith, belief and hard work in Christ, or the truth, get in the way of what he thought was a good story for his future. He needed Paul Waugh to be a cult leader, just like the BBC needed Paul Waugh to be a cult leader, even though he is provably and evidentially not.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbour’ and ‘Hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Do not even tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even Gentiles do the same?” (Matthew 5:43-47)

And if Mr Hacking was trying to be 100% impartial as a journalist, and not give or receive any form of gift (including prayer) then why was he willing to receive prayers (the most valuable and powerful gifts) from Paul? Why was he coming to Sukh and Lighthouse as a Christian brother? It does not make any sense – until you realise that he had already made up his mind in that he needed us to be a cult, to suit his pre-fabricated story. It would have decimated his plans if we were not. His bias, prejudice and vested interest reveal the underlying Judas Syndrome.

Accountability to Constructive Love

Paul has previously defined the foundations of constructive love accordingly,

Love is a commitment to what is genuinely best for the other, in line with what is genuinely true. That means at times it confronts, disciplines, and disrupts our comfort… God defines love at the cross: “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13). Laying down your life is not just a single heroic moment. It is the willingness—and the desire—to endure pain, loss, humiliation, and grief for the good of another.

So what would constructive, Godly love look like from Christian Hacking’s side? Here are a few examples at a very basic level:

• Having the willingness and desire to pray for Paul, even if not shared via audio message
• Replying to Paul’s messages that extended to over 2 hours in length during a four month period
• Speaking to Paul directly after Paul provided his personal and private contact details, instead of avoiding Paul for two months before Paul actually instigated contact with Mr Hacking
• Not presuming or wanting Lighthouse to be a cult for his own means because the BBC have said so, but objectively analysing Lighthouse for himself (rather than viewing Lighthouse as a career-building opportunity by maliciously labelling us as a cult)
• Taking the time and care to understand what a community is, before understanding cults, as Paul had directly recommended to him (which we will cover in upcoming articles)
• Having the strength and honesty to confront his own biases and prejudices—specifically, how supportive and admiring he is of the BBC
• Having the integrity to confront his own ties to the Establishment through his father* Lord David Hacking, and how his own militant ignorance blinds him from how much he is implicitly supporting the Establishment’s agenda

*In future articles we will be demonstrating through specific case studies, the correlation between someone’s unhealthy, toxic relationship with their own father, with how they project that onto Paul S Waugh —and even more importantly, how they treat God. We have strong reason to believe that there are some major issues and concerns regarding Mr Hacking and his own father.

How Christian Hacking Abused Paul’s Love and Care For Him

What did Mr Hacking do instead? He took Paul’s and Lighthouse’s concern and care for him as a sign of weakness. He only grew in his hubris and entitlement to invade our lives. He appointed himself as someone who could investigate Lighthouse and determine whether we were a cult or not, when he has zero understanding or experience of cults, communities, nor of the actual work of Lighthouse Global. Evidenced by labelling us as a “coaching company” in his latest article when any layperson with a sound mind can see just from our web presence, that we are vastly, deeply, broadly, far more than a “coaching company”.

As you will hear and see in upcoming articles, Paul realised that Christian Hacking’s character and competence were woefully inadequate, inappropriate and dangerous to Lighthouse Global. Therefore Paul informed Mr Hacking that we would not engage in his self-appointed investigation any further. Mr Hacking decided to ignore this and throw 150 questions at Paul without any preparation anyway. He had also already determined that if Paul or Lighthouse did not answer any of his questions, then we were guilty of his own accusations and therefore it reinforced his predetermined conclusion that we were a cult. The reality is, as we have previously stated, the majority of his questions were cynical, biased and prosecutorial. There were thousands of honest questions he neglected to ask. There would be no point trying to answer such questions, especially coming from a “very amateur” journalist with such a small amount of readers. To even try and answer the questions he did ask in full, with comprehensive evidence would have taken months of work. And within each question asked, there were dozens of sub-questions that needed addressing. His questions confirmed our suspicions, that he was operating on a negative, cynical and destructive agenda to smear us as a cult. He was proving himself to be grossly unprofessional. Mr Hacking was in no way qualified to conduct any serious investigation, even if he had a genuine intention to help us (which he deceptively was not). A true-blue professional journalist of the highest calibre would struggle for years to understand the facts and evidence in full breadth depth and height. Even the BBC took nearly two years, and that was to create an abomination of a pseudo-documentary!

Correcting the Record With Full Reach

Christian Hacking has a readership of less than 100 people, after five years in journalism. Given the devastation of the BBC’s hit-piece, that reached millions of people worldwide spreading falsehoods and lies about Lighthouse, it is critical and vital that we acquire, the same reach to convey the truth, backed by full and comprehensive evidence. We are desperately fighting for the right reach. In due course, we will be demonstrating and walking people through each and every lie, deception and falsehood in “A Very British Cult“. Therefore we cannot afford to indulge the dark fantasies of a very amateur journalist.

Our Intentions for Holding Christian Hacking Accountable

Again, to reiterate, this is not about Christian Hacking as an individual. This is about examining ourselves and examining the state of the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ literally said that His disciples and followers on earth are recognisable because of their love for one another. Christian Hacking had absolutely no reason to try and attack us through his journalism, except for the fact that he had already made up his mind. Only when he tried to shift from covering a single court trial, to doing a full-blown investigation into whether Lighthouse Global was a cult, did we realise his hidden agenda. It was then that we also realised (as you will see in forthcoming articles about him) that he was grossly unprofessional and grossly incompetent to do any sort of journalistic work with us. At that point, he revealed his hidden agenda; his true cynical and prejudiced intentions against us. So much so that we have strongly suspected that he was influenced in some way by the BBC, directly or indirectly, to attack us. We are therefore publishing this investigation and case study, for constructively loving reasons:

• We hope and pray that by holding Christian Hacking accountable and correcting the record, that this will stop him from doing anything so foolish in the public domain to others, which would further embarrass him and ruin his own reputation
• We are deeply grieved by the state of the Body of Christ, and how much danger Christians are in because they trust in someone who claims to be a brother or sister in Christ —in fact several of us have been grieved to weeping over this situation, mostly for Christian Hacking himself
• If Christian Hacking is preying on Lighthouse, and we are not easy to prey on, then how much more can Christians be preyed upon with far more damning consequences?
• We must protect ourselves from being further damaged. Already through the BBC, Daily Mail and Insolvency Service, our lives, safety, health and reputation have been severely devastated —we cannot afford to be maliciously harmed any more and must hold anyone accountable to publishing falsehoods about us

The Desperate Need for Constructive Love in the Body of Christ

Conservatively, 99.9% of people have not been raised in a family and environment steeped in the self-sacrificial love of Christ. We have been indoctrinated—often subtly—into a perverted version of love that is based on dopamine-fuelled feelings, comfort, pleasure and addiction. More often than not, it is superficial: impersonal, cold, distant and lacking empathy. Someone may say “I’ll pray for you” and then forget, or offer only a fleeting prayer. Too often Christians look on from a distance and think, “I am glad that’s not me”… “but I’ll pray for you”.

What so many Christians sorely lack is the love of Christ; self-sacrificing, constructive love as Paul has described, where we are not just willing, but want to suffer for one another. Not disregarding the truth, but because of and in truth. We must, as children of God, through His Holy Spirit, humble ourselves to learn what constructive love truly means. We must be able to truly learn to ask for help where we need it, and to be able to help others where they truly need it. If we abandon our duty to love, then how can we look at our Saviour with any integrity, honour or dignity?

Where does Christian Hacking go from here? If he is a wolf parading as a sheep, then we expect him to do the same as everyone who has tried to destroy Paul and Lighthouse; hide in the shadows of silence. Like Tom Kelly of the Daily Mail. Like Michael Bint of the Insolvency Service. Like Tim Davie of the BBC and the whole crew behind “A Very British Cult”. Every single one of these people realised that they cannot outrun or hide from the truth, when presented with full and comprehensive evidence of said truth.

All of these seemingly, have been ignored and dismissed by the self-identified amateur journalist. We also have extensive documents, messages and facts, including the cease and desist letter that was sent to Mr Hacking at the beginning of 2026, to prevent him from causing further harm.

Everyone at Lighthouse to a man and woman is praying for Christian Hacking. We sincerely hope that this is a case of him being sorely misguided, and that he will see the grave errors of his ways, repent, and be renewed by God’s love in ways he never has been before.
