Context to This Open Letter to Christian Hacking
Christian Hacking presented himself to Lighthouse Global as an independent, Christian journalist. But as we only later found out, he had a vested interest in reporting on Lighthouse; he needed and wanted us to be a cult and Paul S Waugh to be the cult leader. It suited him for the sake of his amateur journalistic career to have this big scoop (no matter how false and deceptive) at Paul’s and Lighthouse’s expense. Hence, therein lies the Judas Syndrome. If Mr Hacking is trying to misrepresent and smear Christian communities as cults because of his own agenda rather than any genuine thorough investigation, then this must be put to an end now. Mr Hacking,
This is our second open letter responding to your public campaign to maliciously smear Lighthouse Global as a “cult”.
This letter focuses on one question: why you would claim we “destroyed” you while withholding key context — and what your public loyalties suggest about where your allegiance truly lies.

We are writing these as open letters for the public to see, because you have chosen — despite gentle encouragement leading to strong warnings, and despite a personal cease and desist letter from one of our Associates — to publicly caste your uninformed and immature opinion as to whether Lighthouse Global is a cult or not.
You do not have the authority, competence, or character to make such a judgment. In this letter we will show you, and our true brothers and sisters in Christ, why you would try to make such a judgment against a fledgeling, embattled, purpose-built community in Christ.
1. False Allegiance – The Judas Syndrome
This section explains why false allegiance is the preserve of the spiritually dead — and why Judas is the spiritual psychopathogical blueprint.
“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, in Your name did we not prophesy, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’” (Matthew 7:22-23)
These are the words that no Christian ever wants to hear. Yet as our Lord has said, many will. That horrifying truth means most who call themselves “Christian” will be totally exposed on judgment day for who they really are, and will be turned away from Christ’s Kingdom.
Mr Hacking, we do not know where your allegiance truly lies. That — as we have said before — is between you and Christ.
But we are deeply concerned about where it lies, and whether you are willing to get brutally honest with yourself.
We are appealing to you once again to examine yourself, perhaps for the first time, when you have to face inconvenient truths about yourself and your family.
This is what we at Lighthouse have done and continue to do, despite often not wanting to face or admit the truth that totally does not suit us. Ironically, it is the very thing we have been smeared for: being ruthlessly committed to the truth at our own expense.

Before we examine certain details about your family that you have made public knowledge, we need to appreciate the very concerning significance of false allegiance, as found in the originator of the Judas Syndrome: Judas Iscariot himself.
The following are insights shared by John MacArthur, a beloved brother in Christ who is now with our Lord in Heaven, whom we dearly hope to see again soon. He shares crucial insights as to why Judas Iscariot claimed allegiance to Jesus Christ while harbouring a different loyalty:
It says his name is not only Judas but Iscariot. What does that mean? Basically it comes from two terms: ish, meaning man; and Kerioth, meaning town. He was a man of the town of Kerioth. That is simply a geographical identification.
Why is it that Judas is identified geographically, and the other 11 are not? It’s important, because he is the only non-Galilean. He is the only Jew from the southern section. He is the only Judean Jew. All of the rest came from Galilee. And this may indicate to us that from the very beginning, Judas was never really one of the boys.
Also, the southern Jews felt themselves greatly superior to the rural Jews of the north, and would have looked down on them. And consequently there may have been a certain amount of pride involved which deepened as time went on.
I don’t think it was really Jesus alone that drew him; I think it was what Jesus could do for him that drew him. He saw the power of Jesus, and he believed that this man would bring the Kingdom.
And he was not interested in the Kingdom for the Kingdom’s sake or for Christ’s sake; he was interested in the Kingdom for what he might gain from it if he were on the inner circle. So, he’s totally motivated by selfishness. But nonetheless he followed, in a half-hearted way.
Judas Iscariot was never loyal to Jesus. He feigned loyalty.
He was loyal to himself — and to the Establishment of the Pharisees, the religious cult leaders of his day.
He wanted Jesus to become a cult leader so that Judas could rule with power and significance over others.
Like the other disciples, Judas was able to cast out demons and heal the sick. Yet he was always working towards his own agenda. The other 11 disciples never knew otherwise about Judas during the time Jesus was with them in the flesh.
He deceived everyone else around him — perhaps even himself.
2. Are You Loyal To Satan’s Mouthpiece, The BBC?
This section asks why you platform your father’s praise of the BBC, despite the BBC’s documented history of abuse and corruption.
We are about to share a video clip that you posted of your father, Lord David Hacking, on your YouTube channel, in January 2026. We are sharing this because it is deeply concerning as to where your loyalties lie and whether you are parading as a servant of Christ or not.
Before we do, here are some crucial reminders for you — and for those reading this — about the BBC.
BBC: documented patterns worth noting
- Institutional protection: Jimmy Savile was employed and protected by the BBC for decades. After his death, the police recorded over 200 incidents of abuse, including children as young as 8 years old
- Editorial failure: A BBC Newsnight investigation into Savile was purposefully cancelled by the BBC1
- Criminal convictions involving BBC figures:
- BBC employee Stuart Hall was convicted of multiple indecent assaults on girls2
- BBC presenter Rolf Harris was convicted of indecent assaults on minors3
- BBC News Anchor Huw Edwards was convicted for possessing indecent images of children4
- Since 2013 there have been a minimum of 24 BBC employees that have been convicted of a minimum of 329 counts* of sexual abuse. Such allegations of child sexual abuse have been public knowledge since 2013.5
(*We use the term “minimum” because it is difficult to determine the exact details in some of the cases identified, as they were not reported by the BBC. As a result, we have recorded a single count of convictions in instances where there may in fact have been multiple counts.)
- Smearing the US President: In 2025, the BBC were exposed to blatantly have doctored a speech by Donald Trump, completely misrepresenting him and influencing the US election
- Manipulating the British Royal Family: Former BBC journalist Martin Bashir doctored evidence to illegitimately gain an interview with the late Princess Diana
- Ongoing accusations and investigations: Most recently, former BBC Radio DJ Scott Mills is under investigation for alleged sexual abuse
- Compulsory licence enforcement: The BBC force UK citizens to pay a licence fee or else face criminal prosecution
- Licence Fee harassment:
- Propaganda in the name of ‘public interest’: the BBC have promoted transgender propaganda on vulnerable young children in recent years, despite the biological fact, evidence and common sense that there are only two genders
Most importantly, the BBC has increasingly shown it is an anti-Christian organisation, promoting anti-Christian propaganda. You and your father are therefore allying yourself with and praising an anti-Christ corporation.
Now, in light of these facts — which barely scratch the surface of the BBC’s crimes against humanity and children — you posted the below video, where your own father David Hacking praises the BBC.
In fact he states unashamedly, “ My Lords, we are very well served by the BBC. It is the jewel in our crown and should so be preserved.”
Is your father the same type of person who would have said that Jimmy Savile was a national institution — who did wonders for charity — and was a jewel in the crown of British TV?
Because he seems to be conveniently turning a very blind eye regarding the dark, satanic, anti-Christ, anti-children reality of who the BBC really are.

This begs the question: why on earth did you post this vile, disgusting, absurd speech by someone who is at best ludicrously deluded, if not purporting evil?
“Open your mouth for those with no voice, for the cause of all the dispossessed.” (Proverbs 31:8)
You claim to be a voice for the voiceless with your anti-abortion campaigning, striving to protect the murder of babies in the womb.
Yet what about the children who have been raped, beaten, abused, manipulated — compensated years later so they’d never utter a word publicly about what happened in the dark corners of BBC Broadcasting House and beyond?
Are you posting videos of your father on your personal YouTube channel because, in reality, you worship him more than God? More than the truth? More than the reality that any rational person can see clear as day?
Are you so desperate to seek his approval, that you would sell out and post anything he says, even when he is spreading destructive falsehoods, just to win his approval?
Or is it something else that we don’t know?
You’ve chosen to make all of this public, and we are holding you accountable to the standards you claim to uphold, in public.
Perhaps you and your father feel this way through a naïve sense of nostalgia for BBC programmes. It has to be acknowledged that the BBC has done and does broadcast some quality programming — though few and far between. However, if a convicted paedophile also did some good things it wouldn’t change their heinous abuse of children. Equally the BBC having some good programming does not negate who they really are, no matter how much you or your father try to justify it.
You recently published a post on cults, concerning Lighthouse. You stated to your readership,
“I want to be honest about my experience but I don’t want to do to them exactly what the BBC did either.”
You didn’t do exactly what the BBC did. You did worse; parading as a brother, a helper, a friend in Christ, while projecting a false allegiance onto us but remaining loyal to your father’s views and the BBC. You were never going to tell the truth about us. You couldn’t if you wanted to maintain your allegiance to the BBC, your father and the Establishment.
Let us examine this further then. What if Planned Parenthood, the notorious organisation that enables the murder of tens of thousands of babies per year, were to be praised for their healthcare work? Planned Parenthood also provide:
- Testing for sexually transmitted diseases
- HIV testing
- Prenatal and Postpartum Services
- Support for sexual and reproductive concerns
These are, objectively speaking, valuable health services for men and women.
So ask yourself this: how would you feel if your father stood up in the House of Lords praising Planned Parenthood, calling it a jewel in the crown of American healthcare?
Would you post that video on YouTube for the world to see?
If not, then why is it different when it comes to children and adults being sexually abused by the BBC?
Again, we must ask: who or what are you truly loyal to when all is said and done?
3. Your Relationship with Lord David Hacking
This section considers whether your relationship with your father may be shaping your public posture, loyalties, and “investigations.”
Mr Hacking, you have made public that you are the sixth child in a blended family.
In our experiences over 22 years — as well as what is widely acknowledged in psychological studies — fatherhood relationship issues are the driving force for a lot of people turning away from God, as well as in their relationship with male authority figures.
Indeed, there was a profoundly important time of your claimed coming to Christ in your childhood. You stated in an interview about a talk on sin during a summer camp, that “I was so fuming with hatred I wanted to pick up the foldable chair and bash it over his head… suddenly I thought ‘Oh gosh what is that?’ …it wasn’t that I was just disinterested in God but there was a hatred for the things of God”.
What you described there is murderous rage. This leads us to posit a necessary question. We take no pleasure in asking this whatsoever.
Do you carry hatred towards your father for potentially neglecting you as a child, and are you somehow trying to win him over, rather than confront how he has wronged that young boy?
Are you willing to look at who your father is objectively, and take him off the pedestal you may have him on?
Are you willing to hold him accountable to the truth, and confront any evil that is in him or in his beliefs — like protecting an organisation that’s caused immeasurable suffering to vulnerable children?
Children whose lives were not physically ended, but children who grew up to be psychologically tormented for the rest of their lives by the BBC.
You see Mr Hacking it was not the man of God at that camp that you were furious with, or probably not even God. It’s more than likely your father, David Hacking.
This has even more damning ramifications. Every single person who has sought to destroy, smear and defame Paul S Waugh has either been the child of a severely neglectful or abusive parent —or they were the parent themselves. This includes sexual abuse within the family, and abuse from mainstream media BBC journalists.
Rather than dealing with their unresolved disdain and hidden hatred for their abusive parents, they, knowingly or not, project their issues onto Paul.
No matter how ‘nice’ and ‘pleasant’ they appear on the surface.
It was painfully evident Mr Hacking, that you felt no care, affection or dare we say love for Paul —someone who went out of his way to help you as a brother in Christ while he was in such a depleted, exhausted and ill state (as a direct consequence from the attacks on him by the Establishment). Again, we put it to you; ought you to resolve issues with your own father instead of project them onto strong, male authority figures like Paul?
4. Addressing the Masonic Cult in Your Family
In 2025, you spoke to Sukh Singh, seemingly worried and frightfully concerned that he was in a cult purely because you had seen “A Very British Cult”. You had known Sukh for many months before that and you never expressed any cult related concerns before you were duped by the BBC.
Later that year, you sought to cover the court trial of Sukh, Kris Deichler and Jatinder Kamra, (with their encouragement) regarding their doorstepping of BBC journalist Catrin Nye.
Your seemingly morbid curiosity led you to feel so entitled that you then decided that your unfounded and unevidenced opinion as to whether Lighthouse Global was in fact a cult or not was in the public interest.
Seeing as you have developed such a fascination for cults all of a sudden, we need to point you in the direction of putting your own house in order.
Not so convenient.
Not a group of people you can prey on like the fragile and emotionally drained Associates of Lighthouse who were all suffering after years of attacks from the top-tier Establishment your own father serves.
No — instead, we point you in the direction of the Masonic Cult.
Your father was enabled to become a so-called “Lord” in UK Parliament (though in truth there is only one Lord in Jesus Christ) thanks to the wealth accrued from your ancestors. Wealth that stems right back to your great great great grandfather, Joshua Hacking.
According to the Clayton‑le‑Moors Freemasons’ Hall history, your ancestor Joshua was a member of Albert Edward Lodge No.1519, and Past Provincial Grand Warden and Master of the Lodge in 1911.
The Freemasons are without a doubt an anti-Christ organisation. According to Freemasonry:
- Freemasonry Denies That Jesus Christ Is the Only Way to God
- Freemasonry Places the Bible on the Same Level as Other Religious Books
- Freemasonry denies that Jesus Christ is the only one who can forgive all of our sins
While we are still investigating the full facts, again we must ask questions that you likely have not considered.
Was your ancestor Joshua Hacking part of the Freemasons?
Is your father in any way still connected with the Freemasons?
Is any other member of your family?
Are you?
Given your recent passion for understanding cults, will you investigate the Freemason cult and any of your own family connections to it?
If not, why not? And why have you not already done so?
Bonus question: Have you given any thought as to our question yesterday about why you haven’t shown any interest in investigating the cult of Islam? We have a few ideas.. again.. let’s see how honest you are..
5. Conclusion: You Cannot Serve Two Masters
You cannot credibly posture as an objective investigator of “cults” while publicly aligning yourself with Establishment power — and refusing to examine the contradictions closest to home.
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” (Matthew 6:24)
If you thought that profiling you in line with the Judas Syndrome was in any way an exaggeration, Mr. Hacking, then you ought to see very clearly that we are, if anything, understating the terrifying reality that is playing out here.
As a reminder of what John MacArthur stated about Judas, “he was not interested in the Kingdom for the Kingdom’s sake or for Christ’s sake; he was interested in the Kingdom for what he might gain from it if he were on the inner circle.”
You couldn’t and would never objectively investigate Lighthouse, Mr Hacking.
You were always going to conclude that, in your view, we were a cult. In fact, you started with that conclusion. You can’t not — because you are so interwoven with the top-tier Establishment cult.
This is not about where you were born into or your family history. This is about what you are willing to face, and what you’re not willing to face.
It is about what you are willing to examine about yourself, about your father, and about the very Establishment cult that controls and rules this world under its cult leader: Satan.
The top-tier Establishment have targeted language itself. They have begun literally removing words from the dictionary and through propaganda and indoctrination, literally changed the meaning of words in mass public perception. They have for example, demonised the word “cult” through mainstream media outlets, which they own and control. Originally this word is rooted in the word “culture”. There are many “cult” songs, “cult” films, actors and musicians that are revered. Cults themselves are not inherently bad. But there are clearly, provably bad cults. By demonising this word, the top-tier Establishment have weaponised this to target anyone they consider an ideological or otherwise enemy. This is to the extent where Christian communities especially, and Christians themselves are being viewed and treated as a dangerous cult itself. The risk and danger of declaring one’s faith in Christ is about to become far worse, through the demonisation of such words in our society today.
6. Our Challenge To You
- Stop posturing. Stop playing little boy journalist games. Stop trying to please daddy. Stop trying to play both sides. Stop running from the truth.
- Be honest about your motive. Are you seeking your father’s approval more than God — more than the truth — more than reality?
- Correct the record. If you have smeared us publicly, then take responsibility publicly.
- Investigate the cult problem in your own family. Examine the Masonic cult and Establishment cult ties in your own lineage before targeting a fledgling community in Christ.
- Repent and reconcile. If you are willing to take that leap in Christ, we will be with you every step of the way, fighting in your corner.
We are not here to destroy you. We are here to destroy the falsehoods that plague you — and the falsehoods that plague us and our many brothers and sisters worldwide.
Will you join us in this fight?
“and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” (John 8:32)
To our brothers and sisters reading this, we hope and pray that this strengthens your faith in Christ.
May you be better equipped to discern wolves dressed up as sheep. While Mr Hacking claims to be a servant of Christ and a voice to the voiceless, his fruits sadly reveal a different character.
He needs more prayer, more love, and more than ever, he needs the perfect atoning love of Christ.
Brothers, sisters: we are in the End Times, without a doubt.
Our Lord is coming back imminently to collect His Bride. We cannot afford to let ourselves be deceived or be dragged down by the Judas Syndrome. We must instead expose it. We have work to do.
Let us strengthen each other — to wake up, rise and grow up, and face the terrible and liberating truths we each need to, inside our own souls and without.
Everyone at Lighthouse to a man and woman is praying for Christian Hacking. We sincerely hope that this is a case of him being sorely misguided, and that he will see the grave errors of his ways, repent, and be renewed by God’s love in ways he never has been before. Wow. This has been actually quite an emotionally taxing and exhausting process to experience and realise what’s actually at stake here. There’s so much I want to say.
Firstly thank you for laying out the parallel with Judas Iscariot and also the warning for anyone claiming Christ. I take this seriously to heart.
Second, wow. The video of Christian Hacking’s father is seriously shocking and actually mortifying. What world is he / are they living in?! Praise for the BBC?? It’s madness if not evil. That kind of loyalty to the Establishment is what prolongs and protects the raping and abuse of children and the vulnerable.
This is so so helpful to understand some very possible reasons as to why he was so swayed by the BBC hit piece on Lighthouse Global, why he would never show Paul Waugh any affection, and why he is still clinging onto his toxic delusions. This makes me more concerned that he actually won’t see or admit the truth. I deeply hope and pray for his eternal sake, that he does.
The Masonic cult ties are astonishing… stranger than fiction indeed. And great questions – why has he not bothered to investigate the Freemasons?
This is such a good, strong example of righteous accountability in love that not only serves those directly involved, but serves the wider Body of Christ too.
May God protect and strengthen you all. Especially Mr Hacking and his family.
What a powerful Open Letter, thank you Paul and to all involved. You have broken down the facts in a way that it helps me (I can’t speak for anyone else) to look at Mr Hacking and ask, what is behind his attack on Lighthouse? I know what it’s like to try to get the attention and approval of my parents, is this what he is doing?
I pray for Mr Hacking and his family, the video you shared was quite disturbing. I can only pray that he will see this letter as it is intended, to reach out to him and help him to start to look at himself and examine his motives.

This is an open letter in more ways than one! Yesterday it dawned on me that when speaking to Christian Hacking at the trial, he pretty much showed no interest in work and the research we’ve done over the last 21+ years at Lighthouse.
Reading through this article I now see why that’s the case! Our work involves asking people to look at themselves, look at their past and look at where they’ve come from. The work of introspection is not for the faint-hearted, and that’s for very good reason! Examining the relationship with our parents and seeing them as the imperfect, sinful and flawed human beings that we all are can be devastating for the brand they’ve tried to manufacture.
I’ve learnt how crucial and vital it is to look at the relationship with our parents in order to start the process of growing up. Living in the shadows of our parents, even being resentful of them, is not healthy. Christian is welcome to read about the realisations that I made in relation to my mum as it may help him with the process of looking at the relationship with his dad.

I pray that he may be able to confront the demons inside and outside his soul because it will make such a difference to his relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for sharing this second open letter to Christian Hacking. I pray that he sincerely reflects on the questions raised in this letter and becomes clear about where he truly stands. It is evident that he has been deeply shaped by his past and upbringing. He may call himself a Christian, but if his heart is primarily focused on protecting himself, his family, and the establishment, then his allegiance leans away from Christ and towards something far darker.
I appreciate what has been shared here about his father and about his ancestors’ involvement in Freemasonry. I pray that Mr Hacking can recognise the damage caused through his relationship with his father and that he receives what he needs to heal. Seeing his father speak in the House of Lords about the BBC, without mentioning a single word about the abuse that has taken place there over decades, is deeply troubling.
It is crucial to remain committed to Truth and to hold accountable those individuals and organisations that present themselves as paragons of virtue while acting otherwise. God bless us all. Thank you.
Amen. This is a powerful plea for Christian Hacking to examine himself before attempting to “investigate” alleged cults, while overlooking the reality that he is part of the real cult which is far greater – the Establishment system. The parading as an angel of light is something Christ warns us about. It is both deeply concerning and, at the same time, liberating to know the truth and to continue seeking it with our Lord.
I pray that Christian Hacking reads this, comes to recognise his wrongdoing, and seeks to make things right. May God be with us all. Amen.
I greatly appreciate and feel the balance, fairness and care for Mr Hacking’s position and standing with Christ in this. Confronting and challenging him very firmly as needs to be, but any objective observer can clearly see that the questions being asked here are extremely pertinent, relevant and valid. They call for answers which need to be given in line with his actions and so Mr Hacking has put himself in quite a spot now publicly.
What Mr Hacking and all those who have attacked and wanted to smear and defame Lighthouse — for whatever personal bias, prejudice, grudge or malice they hold in their souls against us — have all been extremely obtuse to understanding that public challenge works BOTH ways. If you question others be prepared to have the same measured back. Be careful those who throw stones, that they are not standing in glass houses – especially those narcissistic, egoically grand glass cathedral type houses.
I praise the call for Mr Hacking to self examine and consider this very closely and carefully, because one cannot break truth itself, one can only break oneself against it.

Phew another powerful open letter and one that I truly hope Mr Hacking learns from. I can see why holding Mr Hacking accountable in a firm way, you desperately want him to see his conditioning and understand the emotional, spiritual and mental cognitive biases at play that prevent him from seeing reality. I appreciated your comparison of the BBC to planned parenthhod which conceil their evil by offering other positive services! I urge everyone to read Propaganda Blitz – the authors describe how the BBC regard themselves as divinity on eathy while being responsible for some truly horrific evil. God help them and God bless you, Mr Hacking and us all.
Thank you very much for this absolutely excellent article. Wow, I know everything written here has been carefully considered and diligently researched and so we can only pray that Christian Hacking, actually self-examines, as we are called to do by our Lord and that he also takes these pivotal questions and genuinely addresses these questions for himself and his family’s sake.
There were many powerful insights here but the connections made with Christian Hacking’s work in relation to abortion but shocking absence of concern for the many child victims of many BBC staff members, was particularly profound. The BBC have swiftly found out that pointing the finger at others, whilst being chronically corrupt and sinister themselves, was an incredibly short-sighted and damning move. I hope that Christian Hacking is starting to get that he has done the same thing to himself and opened himself up to be exposed for where he really is, not what he postures as, but where he really is.
We continue to pray for him to repent and focus his energy into building up the Body of Christ rather than breaking it down 🙏
It’s damning, to claim your reporting of the case at the magistrates court as neutral, but it is clear he is biased, but it gets worse. As a budding journalist, he is not aware of the BBC atrocities? The whole court case was surrounding the BBC’s attack on Lighthouse and Lighthouse fighting back, the naming and shaming of the BBC was very much presented.
Yes, Judas. Feigning support while trying to get the scoop, and using his Christian credentials to achieve that, there is something very unchristian about that. Voice of the voiceless, hmmm…that is sounding like empty words to gain a position to achieve an end. There\s literally no integrity to his work.
Oh my word. What a sad, painful but incredibly profound letter. This is accountability done right in my opinion – getting to the real heart of a problem but still calling for honesty, repentance, love and prayer in our Lord. He is coming back so soon and we have to be ready, the Body needs to be sharpening one another and supporting one another, bearing one another’s burdens, not posturing and parading as an authority when you don’t have any basis for that authority.
I really pray that Mr Hacking reads this and is moved to examine himself first. There’s no reason not to, no reason not to make this right, no reason to not have a debate if you are still very convinced of your opinion for whatever reason. This letter pulls no punches but it really is clarifying to me that we always always need to be founded on the truth. If you are not or if you have ill-motives, you will get found out.
Again it is the falsehoods that delude people and weaponise words to create whole false realities of the establishments design.
What is laid out for us in detail in this letter are facts and context that will point back to the truth of what is actually happening.
