BBC Caught Again: The Truth About Trump, Lighthouse, and the BBC’s Pattern of Deceit
New revelations this week have once again confirmed what we have been saying for years: the BBC’s manipulation of truth is not an isolated mistake—it’s a pattern.
The Daily Telegraph has now reported that President Trump’s speech was spliced and edited together—not just once, before the 2024 election in November—but that the same deceptive editing took place as far back as 2022 on Newsnight.
And who was a Newsnight Investigator/Producer at the time? Mike Cowan.
Yes—the same Mike Cowan who scoured Reddit for so-called “cult” stories. The same Mike Cowan who was fed lies and direction by the Reddites who had been attacking Lighthouse for a year. The same Mike Cowan that James Mills personally wrote to in February 2022, inviting him to engage with us, to hear the truth for himself—an invitation that was completely ignored.
Because, just like with President Trump, the Newsnight team was never interested in truth — and in our case Cowan was interested in a deceptively false narrative. Cowan pursued stories about so-called “cults” because it served the BBC’s propaganda machine: stories that instilled fear in the British public and painted everyone but themselves as the enemy. In the same way, the Newsnight team was involved in cutting and editing President Trump’s speeches — shaping them to fit a predetermined narrative rather than presenting them as they were — two sides of the same deceptive coin.
And now, as these repeated exposures make clear, this isn’t a matter of a few rogue journalists or “one-off” editorial errors. This is the BBC’s culture. They have been caught red-handed too many times for this to be called coincidence or carelessness. This is who they are.
On the one hand, they “sincerely apologise” for being exposed for outrageously biased editing, and on the other hand expect us to believe them that there is no systemic bias issue at the BBC. That, dear subscribers, is Judas regret. We call on them to repent.
A Call to Prayer
Through all these deceptions and lies, we are reminded of the grace of God that has protected us and brought us this far. We are also reminded of the powerful words Paul spoke in a prayer a year and a half ago—words that capture how precious it is to come together each day with people of like mind, like heart, and like cause, just as this update does in its own way.

We stand by that prayer today, because our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against falsehood, manipulation, and the spiritual corruption that fuels them. It is God who sustains us, and the strengthening of His body that upholds us.
So while we continue to expose lies and hold institutions to account, we also choose to pray for those who persecute us and try to divide us.

They lie about those they have an agenda against, to destroy their reputation.
When caught – they ignore it and deny it.
Then when systemically exposed, they minimise and justify it as if it’s one bad choice or one bad egg.
Then when they apologise, it’s not a real apology, and they do so through gritted teeth and insincere words.
God help them, they are so dangerously delusional. The British public have been under their spell for decades since childhood. Enough is enough. This is exactly why a class action lawsuit and private prosecutions are needed. If any other organisation acted in the same way, they would be shut down by now. An individual or organisation can never talk their way out of a situation they act themselves into, and now we are seeing how the BBC acts.

Exactly. And they are STILL denying their institutional bias, corruption and incompetence… God help them.
Wow, how deeply moving Paulie’s prayer is from a year and a half ago, and the video by the Daily Telegraph is incredible. The fact that Mr Cowan was behind all of this truly highlights the BBC’s journalistic standard — one that they need to confront, change, and make amends for. God bless us all.
Absolutely. All the pieces of the puzzle, in time and space are coming together.
The BBC has shown that the Panorama clip was not a one-off because this bias is endemic in the culture… it’s institutional evil, the Savile Syndrome at play once again. The BBC can’t take responsibility and apologise for its actions. The fact that this splicing was picked up live and in real-time with no consequences shows how toxic this organisation is.
They promote themselves as impartial whilst peddling this blatantly misleading propaganda, yet expect the public to pay under duress with the threat of fines and imprisonment. They want to have their cake and eat it.
It was eye-opening to see the 1,000+ BBC staff walk into Broadcasting House when protesting outside. These are soulless people who were indifferent to the prevalence of child sexual abuse perpetrated by BBC staff in the years since Jimmy Savile’s passing and the revelation of his atrocities. Not only are the BBC staff indifferent to child abuse, but they are indifferent to truth and it is for that reason that the British public is losing trust in them by the day…
Fascinating to see how Mike Cowan was in the team complicit for the Newsnight splicing smear of Donald Trump. Panorama and Newsnight have revealed their true colours through these incidents.
Meanwhile I really appreciate relistening to Paul’s prayer. It’s true that Christians really ought to be coming together in groups to pray together at the start of each day. The fact that more don’t is a sign of how fragmented Christians are currently, and how much that needs to change…
One thing is clear, the BBC doesn’t care about the British public’s genuine wellbeing and development. They are, like all narcissists, primarily concerned with their reputation. And will gaslight all the way to their own demise.
Like Goliath, we are watching them fall, in real time, on their own sword.
There’s big claims of ‘far-right conspiracies’ and ‘politically orientated coups’. Meanwhile, BBC News is trying to distort the perception of reality of millions across the world according to its own biased narrative. It’s fine to be left-leaning and anti-Trump, but not when positioning themselves as impartial and acting in the so-called public service. If they want to play that game, then ditch the licence fee but don’t threaten some of Britain’s most vulnerable people with fines and imprisonment when should they prioritise keeping a roof over their heads, food on the table and heating ahead of funding propaganda.
The BBC is falling on its own sword whilst they’ve been given every chance to reform.
One of the most disturbing things about these revelations is it took so long for the BBC’s pattern of deceit to be exposed at this level when we had revealed this reality ourselves, many years ago.

Yes! It took the President of the USA no less, and a major benefactor with huge resources to get them exposed! This is why we need Citizen Intervention Global to empower the everyday man and woman. To God be the glory. All of it.
It’s starting to leak out—the filth that is the BBC. This is who they really are, it wasn’t just a one-off. We have the receipts to prove it.
When we call for the resignation of those involved in the monstrosity that was *A Very British Cult*, it isn’t out of revenge, it’s because the BBC desperately needs to clean house. In truth, they are so rotten that shutting the entire organisation down may be the only real solution.
What genuine value do they provide to the public anymore? Their credibility is gone. It’s time to shut shop or at least drop the licence fee that people are forced to pay.
Rotten to the core. That fact the BBC can’t apologise for their lies tells you everything about the organisation and the public are paying for this?!? We need to stop doing this and let them rot alone. Davie should pay Trump, not the British tax payer or licence fee.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. If the public know about it, imagine what the BBC is hiding and what is still to come out.
It’s clear that the manipulation of Donald Trump’s speech wasn’t a one-off mistake by the BBC. It reflects a much deeper, cultural problem rooted in deceit and distortion. We’ve experienced this first-hand through their attacks on us and their so-called documythary, A Very British Cult.
The list of BBC scandals over the years is enormous, and it’s obvious that many innocent people have been harmed by their actions. There is a real and pressing need for justice. The BBC may offer apologies, but they feel insincere given the scale of misconduct.
Now, however, there are consequences. Donald Trump’s threat to sue them is something they can no longer brush aside and this situation is going to become increasingly uncomfortable for them very quickly!
