Today, we have an important statement to release to you as part of our continued defence and very clearly articulating our position with regards to the content we produce in this Daily Update and across all our communication channels.
PUBLIC STATEMENT: Content Responsibility and Our Continued Defence

Statement of Content Control and Publishing Authority
We wish to make absolutely clear the structure and control of all public content published by Lighthouse Global and related entities.
All content—including every website, every article, every public statement, every daily update, and all social media communications in relation to Lighthouse and all associated entities—is published exclusively under the names and authority of Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash, and Shaun Cooper. We three are based outside the United Kingdom and operate independently of UK jurisdiction in our activities. Everything relating to Lighthouse and all its subsidiaries operate outside UK jurisdiction, from company registration, to our web hosting and domains, to the very people sharing this statement.
No UK-based individual associated with Lighthouse has any editorial control, publishing authority, or responsibility for the content we produce and distribute. This has always been our operational structure as directors of Lighthouse ultimately being responsible for everything that is published, and it remains unchanged.
Our Right and Duty to Defend Ourselves
We are responding to five years of sustained, fully evidenced public attacks that have:
- Destroyed our reputations
- Threatened our safety (including ongoing death threats and stalking of our children)
- Damaged our livelihoods and income
- Harmed our families irreparably
- Forced us into exile
The BBC’s attacks were public. Our defence must also be public. This is a matter of public interest, citizen journalism, and fundamental human rights.
Separation of Matters
Recent legal proceedings in the UK involving Sukhraj Singh, Jatinder Kamra and Kris Deichler are entirely separate from our ongoing public defence work. Those individuals:
- Have no control over our content
- Do not speak for us in public forums
- Are not responsible for our publishing decisions
- Acted in their individual capacity, not on our instruction
Any attempt by any party to conflate these separate matters is without merit and will be vigorously refuted.
No court ruling can or will stop us from defending ourselves. We will not be silenced or held back from legitimate public defence because of court proceedings that have nothing to do with our publishing activities.
Our Continued Work
We will continue to:
- Publish content in the public interest
- Hold the BBC, their staff and others accountable for false reporting and defamation
- Publish our open letter to President Donald J. Trump
- Demand the resignations of Catrin Nye, Jamie Bartlett, Ravin Sampat, and Natalie Truswell
- Document and expose the harm done to us and others and build support through Citizen intervention Global/UK while demanding justice and full compensation
- Exercise our rights as citizen journalists
Notice to All Parties
This statement serves as formal notice to:
- Legal representatives
- Courts
- The Crown Prosecution Service
- The BBC and associated journalists
- Any other interested parties
As God is our Witness. We operate lawfully. We operate in the public interest. We will not stop defending ourselves, our families, and the truth.
Anyone who in any way feels threatened by our work, it is because you have a lot to hide. Whether you are a toxic parent who abused your children (you know who you are), or a woman scorned (you know who you are), someone who stole from us (you know who you are) or a predatory journalist (you know who you are).. we can go on here.. you have all deceived your last..
Just a little reminder, that even if you succeeded in killing us (which by God’s Grace you won’t).. you have the truth to deal with and the infinite and eternal reality of God!! So ultimately we are the least of your worries..
Final Word
To be crystal clear: You cannot hold UK-based individuals responsible for publishing decisions made by three individuals operating outside UK jurisdiction. We control our content. We publish our content. We stand by our content.
No court can legitimately demand that we stop defending ourselves while we remain under attack.
This is our position. It is non-negotiable.

I value this update because it helps me realise that no matter what, we have the right to stand up for ourselves and our lives, especially when we have the truth on our side.

That is a very clear update! We have endured years of relentless attacks that damaged our reputations and threatened our safety. Falsehoods and public defamation especially by the BBC caused massive harm.
It shows exactly how broken the system is when powerful institutions operate without accountability.
So many ordinary people have to suffer under heinous attacks of government organisations. God bless Paul, Chris and Shaun and their responsibility, ensuring that the truth comes to the light.

Really appreciate the clarity from this statement. I’ve been part of this campaign for truth, for justice, for reform and for compensation from the BBC since they decided they could endorse a smear and hate campaign against all of us at Lighthouse that started in February 2021.
Before then, after over 16 years of operation, there were no issues with public smearing and efforts to completely destroy all of our lives and livelihoods. Pre-2021, where there were individual issues or complaints, they were handled and resolved maturely and respectfully – formal processes were put in place to do so. So all the vitriol online only started in February 2021, because the BBC’s sources (and those closely connected to them) started their vindictive constructive sabotage efforts based on their own hateful agenda.
As individuals and a collective, we have every right to defend ourselves. Paul Waugh, myself and other members of the team gave Catrin Nye and her team every opportunity to receive the full facts, evidence and context. The way that our individual and collective efforts to ensure the truth were presented in A Very British Cult mockingly and disparagingly.
The BBC basically haven basically given me and the rest of us the middle finger based on the dripping hubris of statements that are essentially along the lines of “We are The BBC, the most trusted news source and whatever you say doesn’t matter because we’ve been around for 100 years and have global reach to 500 million”. They worked on the basis that their reach and history carries more weight than the truth.
Donald Trump, whatever anyone thinks of him, is holding the BBC accountable to their propaganda tactics that they’ve been allowed to get away with for decades.
Not only have the BBC comparably used a provably spliced audio to defame Paul Waugh and therefore Lighthouse as a whole, but they’ve done far, far worse to a small group of us as British citizens who have also been licence fee payers! That’s before I get onto the people we could’ve helped but haven’t been able to because of what the BBC has presented about Lighthouse.
The fact that all of us at Lighthouse have received death threats based on the BBC’s portrayal of us, our work and our research to help people understand what gets in the way of realising their God-given potential shows how biased and heinously inaccurate their presentation of us has been. Their broadcast incited hatred from complete strangers right the way to jealous people in our own families.
No bully and no tyrant likes being held accountable. We have escalated our efforts over the course of years and given our assailants every opportunity to reconcile and make things right. This even included Paul Waugh inviting anyone with an issue to his family home way before the BBC broadcast! (See: https://www.lighthousecommunity.global/post/paul-waugh-invites-family-supporters-critics-of-lighthouse-international-associates-to-his-home) We have also pursued all the formal channels available to us as everyday citizens seeking for the truth to be presented (ie IPSO, BBC Complaints, Ofcom etc).
The fact that the BBC and their sources have made themselves out to be victims as a reaction to our attempts to maturely resolve this whole situation through dialogue, discourse and presentation of facts and evidence is a damning indictment on their character, not ours.
I appreciate the clarity and direction this statement lays out. Being clear with what our individual and collective responsibilities are, what the priority is for Lighthouse and it’s work and what is not is essential to see the wood for the trees.
What is key, is the basic principle behind this which what is right and wrong. A question that is answered by a deepening understanding of and relationship with, God. He is the ultimate moral guide and therefore knowing what course to take will come from His guidance and wisdom.
Thank you for this explicitly clear, thorough statement and reinforcement of our non-negotiable position and standing of who we are in Christ as purveyors of truth.
We have a duty to defend ourselves, it is not optional, and we will defend ourselves after these heinous attacks and an extremely stressful 5 years of our lives that are difficult to describe unless you have experienced it. It is by the grace of God we are able to stand up not just for us but for many, many others who have had their reputations and their livelihoods ferociously and maliciously attacked.
