Good evening all,
As promised yesterday, we are excited to be able to share with you a profound recording from Paul S. Waugh as he has been recovering and working a little bit where he is able. This article and audio explores how hitting rock bottom through grief and the cost of love leads to spiritual maturity, compassion, and a transformative, personal knowledge of Christ.
We are very grateful to him that even when he has been so unwell, his heart remains committed to wanting to share powerful distinctions from his wealth of experience to help and support others. And we are sure that you will find this recording to be no exception.
In 2021-2022, the BBC unlawfully obtained highly sensitive and personal data through criminally stolen transcripts of personal and group counselling sessions and misrepresented them to the public in their documyth. Had they asked, we would have gladly shared our research providing it was used for good—along with the understanding and context to represent Paul and Lighthouse faithfully, in his own words, as we are doing now. As is becoming abundantly clear, they have much to hide in their schemes and deceptive ways of representing people. The truth continues to speak for itself.

Thank you for this Daily Update post, and thank you to Paulie for the incredible audio he’s shared. He’s really getting to the heart of what so many of us have faced and still are facing in our lives. What he shared about love really struck me—it’s not a “thing,” but something I’ve often lacked, and it’s only by God’s grace that I’m even here at Lighthouse.
I really appreciate how Paulie keeps uncovering each new layer of truth as he goes deeper in prayer and surrender to God. His words about grief being part of love really hit home. I’ve often resisted pain instead of letting it do its good and necessary work, and this helped me see it differently.
I’m so grateful to be learning these things now, even through the pain. It’s helping me grow up in Christ—to face what’s real within myself and start seeing the true solutions that only He can give. Thank you to everyone involved in putting this together. God bless everyone x x x
These are stunning, stunning revelations through years of prayer, research and life experience. Thank you so very much, one of the highest realisations I am making is that I am ready more than ever to start grieving what I had once found comfort in because of needing something to cope at that time, and I’m now seeing, it has no place in my life anymore. God’s grace and Word is sufficient, He is my Daily Bread and sustenance. Praise be to God and thank you to Paul and the team 🙏

It is very telling that Catrin Nye and the BBC can only really describe our work as ‘boring’. Catrin Nye and her team boasted that had 16,000 stolen pages of transcripts of private and confidential calls and yet were unable to understand the aims of our work and to appreciate the incredible breakthroughs being made.
The fruits of all the research conducted before and after this material stolen by Dawn Ingram are now being shared with the world and revealing the characters of those involved in the hit-piece production that is A Very British Cult.
The distinctions shared in the article are indeed profound and need to be shared with anyone who’s dedicated to truth and seeking what it means to lead a life as a follower of Christ. It says a lot about Paul and his character to be sharing what he can despite being unwell.
What Paul is doing, what he is helping people to understand, wow, and all the time he is still recovering from illness, God bless Paul Waugh..
What Catrin Nye did to Paul and to all of us, knowingly accepting stolen documents and audios, some of which were highly sensitive, but using them for her own glory, I pray for her.

Wonderful to see Paul now starting to share some of the depths of his thinking from the decades of wisdom and insights he’s gleaned so profoundly through the work of Lighthouse. And this is what the BBC have called “boring”!!! Wow, doesn’t that just show how desperately biased they are and have been in their persecution of Paul and Lighthouse. I’m sure that as more and more truth seeking and loving people come to know this work and how valuable and edifying that is and get to hear it from Paul himself, they will see just how much the BBC has deliberately perverted the truth for their own ends. As we are seeing through the Daily Telegraph’s revelations most recently, the BBC deceive and mislead by what they don’t tell you, through bias by omission, which they have done to the extreme against Lighthouse.
Spot on. What’s going to be extremely eye opening, is what has the BBC not told us over the last several decades? And where was that done by commission?!
This is such incredible wisdom born out of decades of research and there’s still so much more to come! Thank you to Paulie for sharing this audio even while still recovering. The truth will come out, despite the BBC trying to cut and cheat where they can.

I find God’s timing fascinating. Every time there is a scandal at the BBC they get a new Director General, say they have changed and then the lies repeat themselves. As ex-BBC journalist Robin Aitken says in his book The Noble Liar, the BBC see themselves as greater than the masses they serve. Such arrogance continually leaves them fighting scandal after scandal.
This passage:
“…rock bottom is not simply pain or hardship—it is the encounter with the rock of Christ, the unshakeable foundation of repentance, humility, and surrender to God. Without this encounter, what appears to be rock bottom is merely a temporary plateau of suffering, producing superficial or incomplete change such as sobriety, therapy, or self-help. Individuals who suffer but do not turn to Christ may cycle through repeated crises without achieving lasting peace or purpose.”
It really helped me to understand that it is the surrender to God of myself that is necessary to actually be able to love and in turn be loved. The grief that comes with genuine agape love involves recognising the sins I live everyday and the fact that no matter how great I think I am, I am actually nothing without God. Just being alive is completely by His grace and there is a complete shedding and removal of my ego that is needed before I can ask for Christ’s atonement and God’s forgiveness.
