Today’s Daily Opening Comment..
Good evening all,
We have a very short update for you today but one in which we get to share with you what we have coming up for you over this weekend.
As you will know, Paul Waugh has been recovering from illness and whilst he is improving, he has still found it very difficult to work. That being said, we are very fortunate that he has managed to provide for us an audio recording with some wonderful insights that we will hopefully be able to share with you tomorrow.
It is a profound recording in which Paul is building on the work he detailed in the chronic problems of human potential in these Daily Updates just recently, in particular sharing powerful distinctions on love and grief. He also explores the impact of what it means to hit “rock bottom” in life, what that actually means and how that relates to our relationship with God—the difference between having knowledge of Him and truly knowing Him.
We look forward to sharing these insights with you and as always, please join us in sending prayers and love to Paul in his recovery.

| Explanation: The BBC are notorious for their ill-treatment of both staff and forced licence fee payers. Us citizens are on to them and the number of us is growing exponentially, and this (very partial) radical left-wing broadcasting cult fears for its future! Citizens will no longer have to pay to be lied to. We do not owe the BBC our hard-earned money. NO… They owe us! A well overdue initiative.. |

Thank you for the Daily Update this evening. I’m keeping Paulie in prayer—for his renewal, restoration, and continued strength in his writing and work.
The recording Paulie shared was deeply moving. His reflections on grief, love, and reaching true rock bottom in Christ reminded me how only through God’s grace can the emptiness we’ve carried be filled—eternally and infinitely in Him.
I truly look forward to this recording reaching many more people. God bless Paulie and all of us. You can really feel God at work here, and it’s humbling and inspiring to witness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏
I really hope Paul continues to heal and recover and that his health continues to recover. His insights into the fact that we suffer pain as humans that sinks us lower into our sin but that we don’t transform and there is a pain that helps us transform by going to God and surrendering when we hit rock bottom Is incredibly powerful.
Yes, will keep him in my prayers, this work here is so, so crucial to live well and righteously. God bless
Grateful for the update and I’m praying for Paul’s recovery and his renewal to full health by God’s grace. God bless him, despite his illness and struggles he is continually doing all he can to keep sharing the powerful insights he has and the depth of value they contain with us all. I’m looking forward to as many as possible getting to hear him share in his recordings and getting that wisdom in a way that they will be able to connect and feel where that is coming from in him so much more closely. God speed his healing.
In spite of ill health and the ongoing challenges faced, I do pray that Paul and the Lighthouse team are holding firm in their faith and in the faith of our Lord. Looking forward to reading more here and understanding how I and other Christians can serve and become more united in our faith, wherever we are. God bless.

Paul is in my prayers. His work and discoveries realised over the course of his lifetime are significant. The post on cults and cultees reveals a fraction of what’s been uncovered with and through our work at Lighthouse. Such insights are so needed in today’s dark and chaotic world. With a lack of a complete upbringing and a foundation, the significant majority of people are completely unprepared for life. What that means is an infantile attitude towards decisions and choices that have eternal consequences. As I’m realising more and more by the day, just because I don’t want something, that doesn’t mean it’s not true. Yet this attitude is pervasive across humanity today…
We are all keeping Paul in our prayers and we trust in Christ that he will be healed. The wisdom he shared is critical for this world to hear in a time when humanity continues to try to depend on themselves whilst causing themselves and others illegitimate suffering. We need truth whether we like it or not and we are privileged to be privy to this through Paul and look forward to others receiving the same!
I pray for Paul’s quick recovery and that he regains his full strength soon. The research done over the past decades has revealed a core issue in our society, how deeply indoctrinated we are by the institutions around us, including our families and the education system. So much suffering comes from the way things are currently structured, and it’s becoming more obvious that we need real change and a deeper awareness of our dependencies on these systems.
It’s fascinating to see how love and grief are connected, and at the same time, quite sobering to realise how little true wisdom we are taught in school and in our upbringing.
