Lighthouse Daily Update – Oct 31 2025 – Accountability for Reform, Transparency, and Leadership

A New Daily Update on Behalf of Paul S. Waugh

LIGHTHOUSE DAILY UPDATE – Friday 31 of October 2025..

By Paul S. Waugh and support team..

Today’s Daily Opening Comment..

Good evening.

Tonight we bring you another update in the case of Lighthouse and Mr Shaun Cooper versus the corrupt and incompetent Insolvency Service. We hope you have found it as eye-opening to read as it has been for us to experience. It has been encouraging to have people reach out to us on the back of this series this week to share their own stories. Encouraging yet also tragic to see the extent that the corruption from bodies like the Insolvency Service has been felt.

Tomorrow, we will be bringing you a summary of the week and whatever further updates we can provide in other areas.

Read all our previous Daily Updates on Lighthouse Global Media.

About Lighthouse and our work ..

Explanation: What this will cover..

A daily serial about who we are at Lighthouse, as Christians operating both in the Body of Christ and the secular world, including:

A. How we go about our work in Christ.

B. The problems we are currently in the process of solving.

C. The tyrannical forces who REALLY do not want us to find solutions to these problems. Most notably the BBC, the defamers, slanderers and persecutors trying desperately to destroy us, our lives and livelihoods.

NB.. just a reminder that these updates will largely be explained through the PSOV model.

1. Court and Legal Update

Explanation: What’s happening with Lighthouse and those that oppose us and try to destroy us in terms of litigation both civil and criminal cases.

Today’s Update..

Following yesterday’s update, formal correspondence was sent to Alec Pybus, Chief Executive of the Insolvency Service, as well as to both the Insolvency Service Board and the Department for Business and Trade Board. The purpose of this communication was threefold:

  • To ensure that Mr Pybus and his boards are fully aware of the systematic wrongdoing and abuse of process that has taken place under their stewardship;
  • To hold Mr Pybus personally accountable to the standards of integrity, duty, and transparency required of a public officer in his position; and
  • To ensure that the public is informed of the corruption, manipulation, and institutional malpractice that has occurred, empowering them to recognise and challenge these abuses wherever they arise.

In response, the Chief Executive’s Office issued only a brief acknowledgment:

“Thank you for your email to our Chief Executive. Please take this message as an acknowledgement that your correspondence has been received. Your concerns will be allocated to the appropriate Insolvency Service team for a substantive reply within our published target response time. Chief Executive’s Team”

This cursory reply falls well short of the seriousness of the allegations presented. The letter sent to Mr Pybus was not a routine customer query, it was a formal legal notice of institutional misconduct, issued in the public interest and supported by documentary evidence. His attempt to defer responsibility to “the appropriate team” only further exposes the evasive culture that has defined his agency’s response to legitimate public accountability.

As we now move forward, Mr Pybus will be held accountable not only to the facts of this case, but also to his own publicly stated commitments in the Insolvency Service’s Annual Plan 2025–2026, which declares:

Our vision is to be at the centre of a fair, efficient and effective insolvency system that is a global leader in insolvency solutions for citizens and businesses […] recognised for the highest professional, technical and ethical standards.

That same document promises reform, transparency, and leadership accountability. These principles will now be tested against the stark reality of the Service’s conduct in the case of Lighthouse International Group and Mr Cooper.

Reform indeed, Mr Pybus. Empty words and polished mission statements will not conceal systemic corruption or the misconduct of your officers. The public will see the truth, and those responsible will be held to account.

Citizen Intervention Global will continue to monitor and document every stage of this process, ensuring that no official, however senior, hides behind bureaucracy, denial, or institutional silence.

Further developments and the next phase of legal escalation will follow shortly.

2. Open letter to President Donald J Trump

Closing Comments

As today is also Halloween – please consider praying for the protection of children and families during this day that makes a mockery of death and the demonic. We are not fooled by the minimisation of such darkness, and that darkness will not overcome the light of Christ.

Stay safe.

God’s grace to you.

The sound of accountability! I really value the response — using the very guidance they’ve set for themselves to hold them to that standard. Enough of this surface-level appearance of justice and fairness, while doing as they please behind the scenes.
This bureaucracy-filled agency will feel the weight of truth — a sound they’re not used to hearing. This update is so inspiring in how it calls for real response, unlike these government organisations that are supposedly there for the public, yet remain, at the very least, uninspiring.

Everytime you think it can’t get any worse…the insolvency service raise the levels of diabolical!
There is a total lack of conscience here from Mr Pybus and it is therefore not a surprise that the likes of Ian Bint, are shockingly incompetent and unconscionable. The fish rots from the head down as they say.
The institutional misconduct committed here, has already had a profound impact so then to receive such a cold, disconnected, inhuman response just says everything you need to know about what we are really dealing with here!

This what the Insolvency Service claims to be its standards of service and there are countless examples of how its gone against its own standards…

We always aim to provide a high standard of service, but if we make a mistake you can expect any of the following:
– an apology
– an explanation
– details of what we did to put things right
– what we are doing to prevent the same mistake from happening again
https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/insolvency-service/about/complaints-procedure

These are good standards in theory, but incredibly hard to live. It’s something I’ve seen in my own life that coming to Christ is very different to some ‘pick and choose’ standards. I pray for these individuals at the Insolvency Service to repent and make their wrongs right.

The line is drawn! There’s no hiding from this heinous corruption. I value the clear highlighting of the issue, it’s evident there are people who will use any means at their disposal to avoid accountability. What a powerful message of intent to organisations that act as if they’re above the law. A big thank you from me for what this represents.

Power. Not just in what is said and shared, but how. The conviction, the certainty in pursuing righteous accountability, with respect, honour and duty. It’s been years in suffering the weight of tricknicalities and it’s clear that none of what is being done, is done lightly. It’s picking up on details that most may not; that what was received was a generic, pathetically bureaucratic reply to a heavy and serious letter addressing systemic incomporruption at best, corruption at worst. Where most people might roll their eyes at receiving an email like that, they may not see the full extent and gravity of the ‘reply’. And again, it’s an anonymous reply. No names. Another fire arrow shot. Really feel the rhizome building here in preparation for the Open Letters to God and to President Trump – and beyond.

May God protect us all from ourselves, from our unseen sin, from the darkness of this world, so that we may revel in His Glory and share it with the world, His enemies and His children alike.

This was another incredible update. The level of scrutiny and accountability being carried out goes far beyond anything the Insolvency Service — or any other bureaucratic body — has ever experienced, and it will only continue to grow. As rightly said, bureaucracy itself isn’t the problem — corruption within it is.

As Scripture reminds us, “For all that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is secret will be brought to light” (Luke 8:17).

We must keep praying for those in positions of so-called authority, that they recognise every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord — and that it not be too late for them. For all of us, the call remains the same: to come to Christ in repentance and to live self-sacrificially, as He did — both on earth and now in the heavenly realm.

It’s astonishing what happens behind closed doors within the Insolvency Service and beyond, but truth will prevail. Those responsible will ultimately have to give account — at the very least through public apology, and ultimately through restitution for the many families and lives affected.

That’s exactly why Citizen Intervention Global exists — to stand for those who have been silenced, giving them the voice, strength, and support they need under godly leadership and truth.
