Wishing you all a blessed Thursday.
Today we will once again be providing a short Daily Update—our preparation and focus on court remains our priority at this time. We are excited to share more with you as soon as possible.
Former BBC DJ Tim Westwood performing in 2012. Today it was announced he has been charged with counts of rape, indecent assault and sexual assault.
2. Court update
There was no court scheduled today, but our focus has still been on ensuring that our brothers Kristofer, Jatinder and Sukh are supported through this ordeal. It has been a huge strain on them emotionally, mentally, financially and spiritually, including many sleepless nights and countless hours of work over months. As we move forward, any support and all of your prayers are greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank all those who have come out to the court to show their support and thank you to all who, though in absentia, have been praying for us. Please pray for Kristofer, Sukh and Jatinder and their legal team and their health—that their strength is renewed in our Lord over the coming days and weeks.
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. – James 1:12
3. Daily question to the BBC and legacy media..
As the investigation into BBC Radio DJ Tim Westwood appears to have concluded with Mr Westwood being charged with 4 counts of rape, here is a question, once again, to the BBC and their staff compliment:
If you didn’t question the character of your employer after Jimmy Savile, or Rolf Harris, or Stuart Hall, or Huw Edwards—will you finally do so now, after Tim Westwood? Or will it take yet another predator, another scandal, another ruined life before you admit what kind of institution you’re serving?
4. Closing Comments
