The following is an introduction to our investigation and case study into self-proclaimed, “very amateur” Christian independent journalist, Christian Hacking. This is a crucial case study for the entire Body of Christ to learn how to not be deceived by those who claim Christian brotherly and sisterly love, yet demonstrate the total opposite.
Pretext and Context to our Investigation into and Case Study of Christian Hacking
Christian Hacking’s Introduction to Lighthouse Global
- Christian Hacking first met one of our Associates, Sukhraj Singh, in 2024, through an organisation that was, like Lighthouse Global, attacked by Stella Creasy MP
- Mr Hacking found out about the court case regarding Sukhraj, Kris and Jatinder defending themselves against the CPS and the BBC journalist Catrin Nye
- He offered, as an independent journalist, to cover the court case, regarding the “two-knock” rule technicality, where the defendants had doorstepped the journalist along with a Bible and a personal letter
Christian Hacking’s Targeted Focus on Paul S Waugh
- However, during the court proceedings, Mr Hacking targeted Paul S Waugh as to why he was not present at the trial. Paul was (and still is) severely ill, in South Africa
- Mr Hacking did not seek an interview with Paul
- Because Paul believed that Mr Hacking was a Christian brother seeking the truth, he volunteered to speak with the self-proclaimed Christian journalist, providing him with his personal contact details, which Paul has kept very guarded since the devastating attacks on him
- Mr Hacking did not attempt to make any contact with Paul directly or indirectly for several months despite his claims that he wanted to speak with Paul
- He also disrupted the court proceedings and caused the Lighthouse team personal distress in an already anxious and difficult situation
- During this time, Paul, at great personal expense to his health, sent Mr Hacking over two hours’ worth of recordings
- Paul expressed openly to Mr Hacking and the Lighthouse team, his deep gratitude for the amateur journalist giving Lighthouse the attention by covering the court case
- He openly prayed for Mr Hacking through audio recordings sent to him, and with the Lighthouse team
- Paul also directly shared personal reflections, insights, questions, answers to questions, offers of support for Mr Hacking in his personal life and work, as well as ideas to strengthen Mr Hacking’s journalistic work
- This was not easy for Paul to do, but he felt it imperative to help and support someone who claimed to be a Christian brother
- Paul was deeply touched by Mr Hacking’s efforts, and was moved to help rather than dismiss him, despite the extreme limitations and concerns he had about Mr Hacking
Christian Hacking Decides He is Entitled to Investigate Lighthouse Global
- Mr Hacking took it upon himself to decide that he was no longer only going to cover the court case, but do a full investigation into whether or not Lighthouse was a cult, with no prior background or understanding of Lighthouse, cults or communities
- Even the BBC needed 18 months for their pseudo investigation hit-piece, while Mr Hacking presumed he could do a better job in a few weeks
- It came as a severe shock that Mr Hacking was actually attacking Lighthouse, far from the Christian spirit of love that Mr Hacking claimed to have and bring
- Mr Hacking proceeded to send 150 questions to Paul, which were extremely prosecutorial, bias and negative in their presentation, and many of them have already been answered extensively through our vast breadth and depth of educational content on our websites
- Mr Hacking sought an urgent response to all of his questions
- These included questions about sexual abuse that Lighthouse Associates had suffered in their own personal lives from their respective families, by parents
- This was incredibly inconsiderate and inhumane for Mr Hacking to ask anyone, let alone ask Paul, about anyone’s history of sexual abuse
- After the Lighthouse team reviewed his extremely cynical and aggressive prosecutorial questions and examined his background more, they not only questioned his true motives, but realised they could not afford the time, the energy or the psychological strain of having someone so amateur, so biased and so disruptive, being involved with so little to gain from doing so
- Mr Hacking has a very limited audience (just under 100) but what he is asking for is something Lighthouse will only spend with a trusted, professional journalist who has a significant enough character, competence, reach and audience to make it win-win
- We are in desperate need of such reach; something the BBC have refused to give us, despite all of our evidence and numerous requests made
- Lighthouse has been cancelled and blacked out by the Establishment’s mainstream media cartel, through an orchestrated and collaborated attack
- No media outlet will approach us for fear of serious backlash from the BBC
- We are therefore on the verge of expanding reach globally through educating, supporting and being supported by our brothers and sisters in Christ
- Unbeknownst to us, Mr Hacking has a pro-BBC bias, with family members deeply involved in the upper branches of the Establishment
Protecting Lighthouse Global From the Damage Christian Hacking Sought to Cause
- As Mr Hacking’s behaviour continued to reveal him as a predatory, rather than a true Christian investigative journalist, Sukhraj felt personally impelled to send him a personal cease and desist letter under legal counsel
- Mr Hacking was also strongly cautioned to not report on the court case until the full facts were heard in the Crown Court Appeal
- This was primarily for his benefit, so he could avoid publishing false and libellous information due to a lack of necessary information
- Such reporting could damage the case of the defendants given the trial is still live
- Lighthouse has been asked by the defendants’ legal counsel not to publish anything relating to the court case outside of a certain remit, in order to not risk possibly damaging or causing the Appeal to be dismissed
- Lighthouse has therefore not reported about any of the details from the first trial in 2025
- Mr Hacking has ignored the caution given to him and since published the first of a series of articles about cults and Lighthouse that is already seriously misguided and inaccurate, betraying the full facts through massive omissions
- Mr Hacking has portrayed Lighthouse as a cult, when it, in provable and evidential fact, is not
- Lighthouse intends to fill the gaps created by Mr Hacking, to provide every correct detail regarding such betrayals of the truth and of us
Next Steps: Correcting the Record on Christian Hacking and Lighthouse Global
One of the most tragic errors that Mr Hacking and many journalists of his ilk make, is due to their militant ignorance. Especially in his case, we gave him an abundance of facts and evidence, most notably in over two hours’ worth of personal voice messages sent by Paul S Waugh to him.
One of the key areas that we will be addressing is Mr Hacking’s false assertion that because we did not answer the 150 questions that he dumped on us in his urgency, during a time of great crisis and vulnerability, that this somehow implies guilt on our behalf. This is outrageous and one of his many deceptive violations. We have been fighting for our lives for over five years — which Mr Hacking knows full well — and the last thing we are going to do is waste time with an amateur predatory journalist who will not even spell our organisation’s name correctly, never mind investigate us honestly. Paul explained this to him in detail on an audio which we will be publishing in the coming weeks.
Many of these 150 questions were extremely prosecutorial, biased and negative in their presentation, and many of them have already been answered extensively through our vast breadth and depth of educational content on our websites. We have answers to all of his questions and will be publishing the most pressing answers in due course on our site (which Paul stated to Mr Hacking in one of his recordings). We will be prioritising answering those few questions from Mr Hacking that appeared to be sincere, along with other questions about Paul and Lighthouse that journalists and citizens have requested to be answered. We will also be including a series of questions that Mr Hacking ought to have asked if he was genuinely a brother in Christ and genuinely seeking the Truth.
NB: This is crucial to mark — this is not about Christian Hacking as an individual case. It is about what he represents to the entire global Body of Christ. As we explained regarding the Judas Syndrome and the Toxic Framing Syndrome, there are a multitude of individuals worldwide, who come in the name of Christ, claiming to support Christians. These could be journalists, pastors, congregation members, even members of your own family. It is therefore essential that we as Christians are highly alert and discerning to these dangers that come from within the apparent Body of Christ. Therefore, we are regarding our painful and personal lessons with Mr Hacking as a case study for the whole to benefit and learn from.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16)
Over the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing these recordings and messages that Mr Hacking had (and still has) access to, as well as the full and comprehensive context that he (and others) have deliberately omitted. This is in order to set the record straight publicly and anticipate any attempted omission and/or distortions of the facts. We will never tolerate falsehoods — positive or negative ones — being spread about ourselves or any member of the Body of Christ, and especially about Christ Himself! Regardless of the source of those falsehoods.

We are also developing plans to soon be approaching the global Body of Christ, through research, to seek their opinion on how they believe we should be moving forward as Lighthouse. We will be providing all the facts and details related to our situation and projects.
Mr Hacking remains in all of our prayers, that he repent for the damage he has caused, the wrongs he has conducted, and those he intends to. It is our most sincere and earnest hope and prayer that we come to know Mr Hacking as a true brother in the Spirit of our Lord.

Thank you. Seeing the Judas Syndrome in action highlights the crucial need for us, as Christians, to protect one another, including from attacks that arise within our own ranks.
It is deeply sad to see how trust has been misused. I pray that Christian Hacking recognises his wrongdoing, truly repents, and in time becomes a genuine brother in Christ.
This also underlines the importance of being aware and discerning, seeking to understand the underlying motivations behind people’s actions. At the same time, it is important to be careful not to assume intentions without clear evidence. What is clear, however, is how damaging it can be when values are not truly rooted in Christ, and how that can lead to harm against those who care, like Paul Waugh.

This has honestly been a really difficult, disturbing and eye opening process to go through. I did get to a point where it felt like the straw that broke the camel’s back after other experiences with Christians last year. At a time of need and vulnerability, it’s been a shock. But a shock that I’ve needed to experience and start coming to terms with. This series is actually really important for the Body of Christ, I think there is such a broad veil over Christian’s deceiving us as to what Christian love actually is. And Grown up Christianity is a very different world for Christians to become adult. I really hope this is an opportunity for Christian Hacking to start realising what he’s done and to change his ways for the better in Christ.

This is an important case study. I was gobsmacked to see Christian Hacking do what he has done. Betrayal within the Body of Christ is not theory… it happens repeatedly to real people by real perpetrators; all of whom identify as Christian.
I am grateful for the discernment and the lessons coming through this. Not only do we need to be aware of the threats from the mainstream media (like the BBC) and government agencies (like the Insolvency Service), but we need to be aware of those wolves in sheep’s clothing who operate in the Body of Christ with a Christian brand.

The signs I’m seeing with this person are how he’s been indifferent, out of touch, and quite demanding of people going through something quite challenging. The cold indifference to fellow Christians is something hitting me. I can see the lesson, as with Satan, he presents himself as an angel of light, but as there is no love in him, he can’t be light. I see the same thing here, framing himself as neutral but really is biased, looking for a means to execute his agenda and self serving outcomes. Big lesson here for us all. God bless.
It’s tragic to me that Mr Hacking, in the name of being a fellow Christian and journalist, is showing fruits so contrary to that and conducting himself no differently to those of a worldly anti-Christian institution like the BBC. We would expect an immoral secular ‘journalist’ of low character to try and profit and career build on the back of what the establishment are doing to try and destroy Lighthouse. But for a Christian to be doing as he is through a lens of such selective reality, distortion and falsehood mongering is a betrayal of all God commands and expects of us. What’s astounding is how Mr Hacking chose to take the course that he has and to publish what he is, very poorly, with so many glaring contradictions and conflicting facts and realities to his accounts.
It’s difficult to keep this comment polite, because once again a journalist is trying to make their name off the back of someone else, rather than just reporting the facts in context.

I’m commanded to love our enemies and I am also very glad that we have recordings, transcripts and the full details to share so that we can point back to the truth every time. Then whoever reads it can make up their own minds without continual media distortion.
Thank you for this considered, thorough and critical article not only revealing the character of Christian Hacking but of what he represents within the Body of Christ. We are in some of the most difficult times we have faced as Christian’s and yet we have someone, who abused and exploited our trust in him, willing to choose to ignore given caution and add further distress to us in this time. This is absolutely shameful, I hope pray that Mr Hacking will repent and that he prays for discernment and forgiveness, his actions here have been deplorable.
This is a really concerning and a lot of this I didn’t know. It is concerning because it seems to me that Christian has really overstepped and not understood the delicacy of the situation. These are our lives, our families, our futures. Telling our story has to be done properly, and not only has he not shown generosity of spirit with Paul – who’s been the most targeted here – but in the end he’s behaving exactly like the BBC. He’s not putting our wellbeing first and worst of all, he’s not putting the truth first from what I can see. I pray he makes this right.
This is a very sad and tragic situation. It shows why the Bible shares so much about the need for discernment, wisdom and maturity. It also very much demonstrates why there is so much fragmentation by those who identify as Christian and the need for the Body of Christ to work together functionally in an increasingly dark world. This makes this situation even more tragic when our work and the pioneering results needs to be shared globally.
It’s shocking to hear how someone could approach brothers in Christ when they are going through some extremely tough times, appearing to want to help them, yet in seconds, turned in them and showed his true colours. What is happening in this world shows that these are very dangerous times for Christian’s, and I’m grateful that you are helping us, your brothers and sisters in Christ to understand the Judas Syndrome and it’s severity, thank you 🙏
What Mr Hacking has and is doing to Lighthouse, how he has turned on his brothers and sisters is deeply saddening, but I pray for him. I pray the he can see what he is doing and can and will repent. In Christ’s name I pray, Amen
