Open Letter Part I: A Response To Amateur Journalist Christian Hacking: An Education on Defamation and Destruction

Context to This Open Letter to Christian Hacking

Christian Hacking presented himself to Lighthouse Global as an independent, Christian journalist. But as we only later found out, he had a vested interest in reporting on Lighthouse; he needed and wanted us to be a cult. He needed and wanted Paul S Waugh to be the cult leader. It suited him for the sake of his amateur journalistic career to have this big scoop (no matter how false and deceptive) at Paul’s and Lighthouse’s expense. Hence, therein lies the Judas Syndrome. Given his deceptive and cynical intentions as well as his sheer lack of professionalism, lack of audience and reach, Lighthouse decided that we could not work with him. Mr Hacking is at the least demonstrating a petty vendetta, if not the possible marks of being a media plant by the BBC. If Mr Hacking is trying to misrepresent and smear Christian communities as cults because of his own agenda rather than any genuine thorough investigation, then this must be put to an end now. Addressing such falsehoods and misleading statements is not about Mr Hacking. It is about the wider, orchestrated attack on purpose-built communities and close-knit groups that do not suit the top-tier Establishment agenda. They are branding any such group, or even a business or political party as an “alleged cult”. This has been the trend for the last five years at least, as a means of controlling the mainstream narrative to ensure that their ideology is preserved and anyone who opposes it, even non-Christians, are ostracised and smeared irreparably.

Mr Hacking,

We are writing this letter to you as a community in Christ, whilst writing to you as a brother in Christ. While we have experienced many, many, deeply concerning instances that would make us believe otherwise, we have a duty to still assume and treat you as a brother in our Lord. As such we write to you in this spirit, of the highest, deepest and broadest standard of truth, in Christ Himself. We hope and pray that you join us in this spirit and not recoil to any woke, subjective opinions to depict yourself as a victim, but rather step into objective truth and reality, especially where it does not suit you.

While we are writing to you, this letter is not solely about you. It is a letter for our beloved brothers and sisters, the wider Body of Christ. It is part of our deep desire to support and educate them on a crisis that exists all over the world; the Judas Syndrome. Too many Christians have already experienced such betrayal in one shape or another from someone who claims to be a child of Christ, yet chooses to sell them out for a price. That price may not be financial. It may be a positional price, a reputational price, but a price no less that causes grievous harm to that true child of God.

You have chosen to make further false claims about us at Lighthouse, and so once again, despite you having the evidence and facts to the contrary in your possession, we must correct the record fully and comprehensively.

Before we go any further Christian… do you really believe that we want to be doing this? Do you really believe, after 22 years of research, and after over five years of being viciously targeted and attacked by the Establishment, that we now want to be developing this work on the Judas Syndrome and dedicating so much of our time and energy to you?! After being heinously preyed upon by these organisations and agencies, you have targeted us falsely and deceptively. You are in no position to cry victim, because despite all warnings as we will explain below, you have 100% put yourself in this position.

Addressing Your False Accusation of Defamation

You have stated that we have “mounted a defame and destroy campaign” against you. Let us examine this false accusation further. According to UK law:

A statement is not defamatory unless its publication has caused or is likely to cause serious harm to the reputation of the claimant… harm to the reputation of a body that trades for profit is not “serious harm” unless it has caused or is likely to cause the body serious financial loss.

We know we have evidentially and provably not defamed you Christian. We have the full receipts for this. But if you believe we have defamed you, then please provide the full, comprehensive evidence of how this damage has been done to you. If you believe we are guilty of a criminal act, then please do follow the legal procedure and sue us for defamation. If we have genuinely caused harm through spreading falsehoods and anything that is untrue, we will take full responsibility with God, with you, and in a court of law if needed. We stand by the fact that everything we have declared about you is either provably and evidentially true, or they are possibilities we must consider in fairness, given your egregious conduct towards us for the last several months at a time of immense vulnerability and fragility. In fact, your accusation against us is defamatory itself, especially if you cannot back up your claim.

One of your biggest irrational and absurd supposed concerns about Lighthouse as an “alleged” cult, is the fact that we record all of our meetings and transcribe our meetings. Transcriptions made by our own team that you yourself used to compile notes for your articles! You have literally benefitted from our commitment to the truth and reality. Having everything on record has served us so well for decades to aid us in this commitment! Paul has sent you his personal recordings. He knew that his voice and words could be toxically framed and manipulated against him, which indeed they were by the BBC and their fake whistleblower sources, yet he knew the importance of having everything on record anyway. Yet you, like so many others duped by the BBC, chose to view something that aids with truth, as something cult-like.

Addressing Your False Accusation of Destruction

On the 22nd April, 2026, we published an introduction to our investigation and case study into you concerning the Judas Syndrome. In this article, we stated very clearly,

“Mr Hacking remains in all of our prayers, that he repent for the damage he has caused, the wrongs he has conducted, and those he intends to. It is our most sincere and earnest hope and prayer that we come to know Mr Hacking as a true brother in the Spirit of our Lord.”

Christian, where is the intent to destroy you here?! How could we possibly want you destroyed?! We have petitioned our Lord Jesus Christ, to know you as a brother in Him. That means to know you forever! Not for a few years here in this decaying, demonic and dastardly world ruled by Satan. But forever in God’s perfect Kingdom! Christian, you may have glasses for your eyes but you are clearly not seeing straight in your mind! You have once again, so sorely and devastatingly falsely interpreted the facts through your own distorted and warped lens. We are holding you firmly accountable to conveying truth in its totality, not to mislead your readers and falsely represent us. Our claims are evidentially provable with full receipts – if there is anything we absolutely do want to destroy, it is falsehoods against us or against anyone, Christian or not. That includes you… if you were being attacked with falsehoods or in any other way, we would do our utmost to help and defend you. For you to take this tack when there is full receipts and full evidence is extremely a bad judgment at the level of woke. You have distorted this into us wanting to destroy you somehow… Your character once again reveals itself! Rather than honestly, sincerely examining our accountability and yourself, you resort to playing the victim and deepening your dark, deceptive caricature of us. Will you not be prepared to face your own biases, prejudices and pre-formed conclusions and recognise the self-evident truth here?

“Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” (1 Corinthians 11:28)

The BBC created a pseudo-documentary about Lighthouse Global called “A Very British Cult”. This was a case of toxic framing at a much higher and more sinister level. They targeted a healthy, supportive, purpose-built research community. A community that has pioneered insights into human development in all areas of life and business. The BBC deliberately, deceptively, and manipulatively framed this community as a cult. They did so to make the British and global population terrified of unifying with others in community. This is because the Establishment itself is actually terrified of the bottom tier masses forming community groups that enable the realisation of their God-given potential. They are terrified of the masses no longer being able to remain under the cruel control of the Establishment.

Addressing Your Defamatory and Destructive Actions Toward Lighthouse

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.” (Matthew 18:15-17)

Christian, this grieves all of us so much to have to do this. We have tried to correct you and hold you accountable in private. We have tried to help you see the dangerous errors you were making and were about to make. Paul has personally shared with you over two hours’ worth of recordings to try and help you, support you and work with you. You have either ignored or overtly dismissed such offers for help, to the point where you’re not even correcting basic spelling errors that have been pointed out to you. So it seems that we need to spell out to you, what you have done.

Before we do, here is some fundamental context laid out in such a way that hopefully you can see clearly without letting your bias and prejudice get in the way:

• Lighthouse Global has been in deep, pioneering research and development work for over 22 years, into understanding and addressing the major barriers, obstacles and restraining forces in the way of human beings’ God-given potential being realised
• We have done this so that we can be in a position to never have to say “no” where we ought to say “yes”, inside and outside our own souls and our own homes, in all areas of value; Godly, human, material and financial
• We are a purpose-built community, dedicated to this research and support of one another in the process
• We have in our 22 years, unearthed the most horrifying, shocking and devastating truths as to why and how the top-tier Establishment has suppressed and oppressed the bottom-tier masses
• If the general public knew the full weight, height, depth and breadth of what we have discovered, there would be mass riots in the streets against the Establishment
• We therefore need to release it in the most responsible and mature way, to those who have the emotional, mental and spiritual maturity to be able to use that information wisely and proactively
• As we started the early stages of preparing to expand and scale globally, we were heinously, violently and in an orchestrated, co-ordinated manner, attacked by various agencies of the Establishment, from mainstream media to finance institutions
• The single word they used to smear and yes, defame us, was the word “cult”
• They have provably used this word to do the same to numerous other organisations and individuals, even to the current President of the United States, Donald Trump
• Our lives have been utterly devastated by these attacks —we have had brothers and sisters here on the verge of trying to take their own lives, some of our children have been terrified, depressed and suicidal due to the numerous death threats and online predators attacking us
• We have been de-banked, Associates here have been unlawfully dismissed from jobs or unable to secure housing, because of the defamatory damage caused by these attacks
• Three of our brothers whom you know personally, now have criminal records, severely handicapped from being able to earn an income, with the BBC publishing their names and faces for the world to see
• Following the sentencing of our brothers in February 2026, they were the targets of gross, vile, racists and xenophobic hate and predatory trolling on social media
• All three have sought personal counselling due to the sheer stress, strain, exhaustion and psychological toll of the court trial alone —let alone the attacks on Lighthouse
• You, Christian, have been (provably) privy to some of this and you know more than enough, of how we have suffered through this process —yet in Christ, we are sustained and strengthened

The top-tier Establishment have targeted language itself. They have begun literally removing words from the dictionary and through propaganda and indoctrination, literally changed the meaning of words in mass public perception. They have for example, demonised the word “cult” through mainstream media outlets, which they own and control. Originally this word is rooted in the word “culture”. There are many “cult” songs, “cult” films, actors and musicians that are revered. Cults themselves are not inherently bad. But there are clearly, provably bad cults. By demonising this word, the top-tier Establishment have weaponised this to target anyone they consider an ideological or otherwise enemy. This is to the extent where Christian communities especially, and Christians themselves are being viewed and treated as a dangerous cult itself. The risk and danger of declaring one’s faith in Christ is about to become far worse, through the demonisation of such words in our society today.

The Damage You Have Caused To The Christians of Lighthouse

When you approached us to cover this court trial, you have no idea how much that meant to us personally. After the onslaught of attacks from the Establishment, from family members, from demonic and bitter clients, you came to us as a brother in Christ. We naively believed that you would be dedicated to the truth. That you would not be swayed by BBC propaganda. That you would be objective… and we were crestfallen to realise that the total opposite was true. So much so Christian, that some of our Associates here, our brothers and sisters in Christ, have had crises of faith. They thought, if that is what a Christian is, and that is a Christian’s attitude to their own wrongdoing, to truth, to repentance… then is Christianity itself a sham?!

Moreover, through agitators and paid agitators, the Establishment has successfully driven division between Christians and Christian communities. Agitators such as Jon Breen, whom you have directly associated with despite our warnings, have been instrumental in driving such division, with a view to destroying Christian communities such as ourselves at Lighthouse.

Yet thanks to the love of Christ Himself, through His Holy Spirit, and the love, strength and faith of the brothers and sisters at Lighthouse, that faith was not lost. If anything, it is strengthened and matured in Christ.

You have recently decided to publish an article about cults while clearly associating Lighthouse, Paul S Waugh and our three brothers with the word “cult”. You have done this despite knowing the above. You have done this despite receiving hours of insights from Paul about cults, communities, cultees and the Establishment itself. You have done this despite receiving a warning to not report on the court trial in any way until the Crown Court Appeal, to avoid any risk of damaging their case. You have even done this despite receiving a cease and desist from one of our Associates Sukh Singh.

1. You chose to publish a photo of our three brothers whom you know, associating them with the word “cult” on numerous occasions

2. The above preamble and photograph from your article shows how you have:

• Associated the word “cult” with Lighthouse
• Described Paul Waugh as an “alleged cult leader”
• Stated you are “reserving judgement on their cult status in this post”

Attacking Your Own Brothers and Sisters in Community

Rather than showing any wisdom, humility or consideration, what you have done Christian is of the lowest levels of foolishness and sabotage. The very weapon that the BBC have used to try and destroy us, you have picked up and re-used on the internet for the world to see.

Brothers and sisters in Christ are in desperate need of community, now more than ever. Especially in such a world where rugged individualism and Establishment-ordered isolation is rife. We need to be able to thrive in support of one another. Instead, you have targeted a fledgling, damaged, recovering community, in the middle of being attacked, and chosen to brand a community in Christ with the word “cult” again.

You may even try to hide behind the safety-clause of saying “alleged”… but anyone in their sound mind knows that if “alleged” is combined with any dangerous, criminal idea, that a reputation can be destroyed overnight. Ask Sir Cliff Richard what happened when it was “alleged” that he was guilty of sexual assault. Ask him about the damage done to him, to his family, to his reputation, to his own sanity, that took them years to recover from.

Your Lack of Prayerful Support

Moreover Christian, you have asked your readers to pray for you. Have you asked for prayers for us? As we have said before, if we really were a cult, and if Paul really was a cult leader, would we not need your most earnest prayers of petition to Christ even more? Would Paul not need your love and prayers even more? Would you not, in desperation, plead with your readers to collectively pray for us? Let alone the reality that we are not a cult, but a community in Christ, ought we not be deserving of receiving prayers from you and your readers? Or do you only seek prayers to feed a subjective victim identity, to gain undeserving sympathy from your followers to imagine yourself as a brave and valiant warrior in Christ? Every day, you are in our prayers and will continue to be. We are asking our readers to pray for you too.

How We Will Build Value Through This

Christian, you, sadly, are the only one here who is guilty of defamation and destruction. What we are guilty of, is believing that you had genuine, honest intentions to support us as a brother in Christ, amidst the Establishment attacks we have endured. Our guilt is in letting our guard down and inviting you into a sacred space without truly qualifying your character and competence.

Yet, as with every problem and crisis we face, we are using and will use this to learn, to build value, to help others and serve the Body of Christ. We are desperate for them to learn from our experiences, our mistakes, your mistakes, and to protect themselves from the Judas Syndrome.

As we have stated numerous times before, we would love it if you would join us in transforming the Judas Syndrome, to become the living embodiment of the Peter Phenomenon. To be able to teach and help others about cults, about communities, about what it means to be a true brother or sister in Christ, through trials, through mistakes, through betrayal, and through being forged by God in His Holy Spirit.

Paul has invited you to a live, real-time debate, to get to the bottom of the facts in relation to cults and communities. We have also published a prayer concerning yourself and the entire Body of our Lord, for the desperate state it is in.

In the meantime, we will continue to share the full and comprehensive facts of this case study, as part of our ongoing education of the Judas Syndrome. We will do so with full evidence and full receipts. While you have chosen not to use the information given to you about cults and communities, we are working every day to root out anything that is destructively cultic —to strengthen our individual and collective communion with Christ and community with each other and those within the body of Christ. We will be doing so in the imminent future. If you would honestly like to be involved in this education, we would love for that to happen.
