Lighthouse Daily – 8th May, 2026…
Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Today’s update is about a 6-minute read.
In this update:
- The Atonement Syndrome — abusing the atonement of Jesus Christ

1) Our Commission From Christ: Problems We Face, Solutions Needed
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Christians are called and commanded to repent for the wrongs we have actually done.
But we cannot repent for wrongs we have not committed.
So when lies and smears are spread about a Christian to destroy them, what “repentance” could possibly address those false accusations?
This is one way many Christians are targeted and abused.
This is done in order to make them look guilty of something when they are not
The Atonement Syndrome is not only about how we can misuse Christ’s redemption — but also how others misuse and demonise the language of “atonement” to silence, shame, and destroy.
As Christians we want and need to repent and atone for our wrongdoing as much as possible because it’s our actual wrongdoing that is in the way of our right doing.
How we treat our wrongdoing is a reflection of how we treat Christ’s atonement.
So here are simple and vital anchors to keep in our heads and hearts:
- We are all imperfect and sinful.
- Therefore we all will do wrong at times.
- We should repent and atone for those real wrongs.
- We cannot repent for wrongs we did not commit.
- Whether we have done wrong or not, we still have a commission in Christ to fulfil.
- We must not let real or fake wrongdoing block obedience to Christ’s commission.
- Therefore: focus on His commission.
2) Targeted From Within: Threats to the Body of Christ
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me.” — Matthew 10:37
15 Days of No Response from Christian Hacking
It has now been 15 days since this offer to reconcile and engage in a debate in Christ was extended, and we have received no response from Mr Hacking. While he writes articles about spilt milk, there has not been one extension from him to make his wrongs right.
Our investigation and case study into Christian Hacking, regarding the Judas Syndrome, is progressing into deeper roots.

- Christian Hacking presented himself to Lighthouse Global as a “very amateur” independent Christian journalist, and we initially aimed to support him as a brother or sister in Christ.
- Lighthouse later concluded that Hacking had a vested interest in demonising us through toxic framing, needing Lighthouse to appear as a “cult” and Paul S. Waugh as a “cult leader”, despite what is extensive contrary evidence.
- We believe this framing served Hacking’s amateur journalistic ambitions by creating a sensational “big scoop”, even if misleading, at our and Paul’s expense.
- Due to Hacking’s deceptive intent, lack of professionalism, and limited audience or reach, we decided we could not work with Hacking.
- Hacking sent Paul a set of 150 questions. These questions were biased, cynical, self righteous, and prosecutorial, demanding answers, despite Paul stating (26 Jan 2026, via audio message) that we could not work with Hacking.
- At minimum this is a petty vendetta, and possibly signs of being a “media plant” connected to the BBC. Both Hacking and Hacking’s father David have praised the BBC.
- If Hacking is smearing Christian communities as “cults” for personal agenda rather than genuine investigation, it must be challenged, hence our case study and linking it to the “Judas Syndrome” educational series.
- This issue is larger than one individual. It is part of a wider, orchestrated “Establishment” strategy to brand close knit communities, and even businesses or parties, as alleged cults to control narratives and ostracise opposition.
Christian Hacking’s Obsession With His Father
Recently Christian Hacking published a conversation with his father, David Hacking, Lord Hacking.
This was a sycophantic exercise in praise rather than an objective interview.
It fits a consistent pattern we have noticed with Christian Hacking: idolising his own father while presenting himself as a Christian activist.
This includes publicly blaspheming the Lordship of Jesus Christ, while also praising the BBC — notorious for its history of child abuse (including but not limited to sexual abuse), public deception and propaganda, as well as harassing elderly widows over enforced licence fees.
What We Are Calling on Christian Hacking to Do
We call on Christian Hacking to interview David Hacking with honest probing questions into:
- BBC reality check: the heinous reality of what the BBC is as a child-abusing, deceiving, fraudulent and exploitative organisation.
- False praise: the ludicrous and obscene praise that both David and Christian Hacking gave the BBC.
- Family roots: the Masonic roots of the Hacking family, stemming back to Christian Hacking’s great great great grandfather, Joshua Hacking
We strongly suspect Christian Hacking will not dare venture into this reality with his father, given how silent, unrepentant and deluded he has appeared to be, despite our public actions to hold him accountable.
In due course, we will therefore address David Hacking directly to ask questions about Christian Hacking’s recent conduct, his praise of the BBC and the Freemason cult.
3) Targeted From the Outside: How the Establishment Persecutes Christians
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” — Galatians 6:7
Today, the Insolvency Service CEO, Duncan Beach is speaking at the “R3 Annual Conference” (Rescue, Recovery, Renewal).
The topic?
“Learning from the past and the present, leading into the future”.
We could not agree more — this is a vital and urgent message we have been imploring Mr Beach and his Insolvency Service colleagues to learn and implement.
So, while Mr Beach attends and speaks at the conference, we are continuing our accountability-holding in full force:
- Our open letters to Mr Beach have been delivered to the hotel where the conference is being hosted.
- Around 4,500 Insolvency professionals across the globe have now received our open letter emails to Duncan Beach.
- Around 40% (many likely to be attending the conference) have shown curiosity in our open letter emails to Mr Beach and are keeping updated with what we are exposing.
- Not one person has replied defending the Insolvency Service and its conduct.
- Those receiving the open letters include Insolvency Practitioners, lawyers, accountants, financial consultants, the Board for the Department of Business & Trade, The Board and Senior Management Team at the UK Insolvency Service as well as Insolvency Service staff.
The Accountability to Come…
In the coming days we will be sharing the third part of our open letter to Duncan Beach, as well as directly addressing Christian Hacking’s father, Lord David Hacking.

Thank you for this news. Thank you for the reality check on the Atonement Syndrome – this has been pressing on my heart more recently and exposing more deceit in me, exposing gaps between my belief and where my faith is needed to grow so much more. Thank you – and above all thank you to the Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy and incredible love to release us from our sins.
I pray that Christian Hacking wakes up and realises how much opportunity he has here to grow, to repent, to get his idols in check – The Lord knows we all struggle with idol worship of ourselves and others, but there’s so much opportunity for Mr Hacking to repent here. I really hope he takes it, for his sake.
And the same sentiment to the Insolvency Service CEO Duncan Beach. I can imagine a world of delusion in Hungary going on right now… congratulating themselves on speeches and dinners. But what Lighthouse has been doing to expose the Insolvency Service’s incomporruption is crucial; it exposes how they are NOT serving the citizens of the UK!
Yet more crucial insights revealed in this post. The Atonement Syndrome is such an important one to be aware of and to respond to. What was very revealing from Christian Hacking‘s questions is that he was calling for repentance on allegations that are provably false! How can we repent and atone for that which we have not done.
On this note I came across this video about how Christians have attacked Brandon Lake for things that he hasn’t actually said! I appreciate Josh Howerton calling out this Satanic tactic of taking an out-of-context comment and using it as ammunition.
When I look at what Christian Hacking has had to say about the BBC and his dad, I look back and see how duped I was in thinking that Christian Hacking cared about our case as well as us as Christian brothers and sisters. This was evidently not the case. I pray that our response is finally helping him to look at himself and take responsibility for what he’s done in relation to us at Lighthouse.
Lastly I appreciate the continued work on holding the Insolvency Service accountable. I value the open, transparent and persistent approach we’re taking. I am praying that this enables conscience-led souls to step forward and call out the tyranny evident in the culture and people of the Insolvency Service.
Thank you for this powerful update. Accountability is still to come, and I’m looking forward to reading the third instalment of our letters to Mr Duncan Beach. I will be praying that he comes to see the error of his ways and repents of the wrongs demonstrated in the first part of this update.
This has been such an incredible education. As someone who has suffered with a great deal of neurosis and paranoia over the years, it is both a relief and incredibly sobering to finally begin understanding what is and is not wrongdoing, and how to make things right where needed.
As was said here, we cannot atone for things we have not done wrong. But where we have done wrong, we should want to repent and make it right. Let’s pray the same will one day be said of Duncan Beach, those within the Insolvency Service, and others within these kinds of institutions.

Thank you for this update – what struck me is how lost humanity is as a whole and how little we see the bigger picture of God’s Kingdom. Not that I don’t suffer from this, nevertheless when seen from the biggest perspective of God’s Kingdom, it makes me think how little we would do of the wrong we do if kept the bigger picture in our hearts.
Thank you for this crucial piece on the Atonement syndrome. We cannot repent for something or things we did not do and this is not something I think about enough. It is a gift to be able to atone for our sins and this is something I am still praying for the obedience to enact so we will not allow anyone with a nefarious agenda to distract us by creating falsehoods for which we cannot atone for because they are false in the first place.
We pray that Christian Hacking will take a good, hard look at the terrible decisions he continues to make and make a right one by exposing the unfruitful deeds of his family connections and of the BBC that he and his Dad choose to blindly idolise.
It just fills me with sadness when I hear so called Christians talk in the vein of Jesus Christ, acting like they are the messiah, while at the same time acting as if they have not received Christ’s payment for their sins. I have been there myself.
Atonement syndrome is such an important realisation. In the story we hold about ourselves, we can work against the atonement of Christ.

I heard a lovely line from a Pastor in the US recently that said, yes we can have outrage at the things that have been done to us, and/or done to others that are wrong. But as a Christian, it’s eventually got to turn to outreach and sharing the Gospel. In other words, we need to recognise that, no matter what someone has done, we are all sinners, all imperfect and we all fall short of the glory of God. So we all need repentance and atonement. You don’t see that with other worldviews.In all other world views people believe we can earn our salvation. Christians however know better.
Only Jesus Christ can save us. I say all this because this is how we all need to be with one another if we want to have the best possible lives in this fallen world. We all need to try and be like Christ as much as we can and when you have those who are trying to destroy you for things you have done wrong and aren’t interested in helping you repent and make things right. Or worse still, are trying to destroy you for things you haven’t done wrong at all, who want to see you punished and to suffer over a false accusation, that is Satanic.
That’s why I believe I know where things stand with the likes of the BBC and sadly with Mr Hacking too right now. Because if he were truly a Christian, he would be more interested in repentance and atonement than trying to condemn Lighthouse and if that was his focus, he would also quickly realise the very thing that’s been said here in this article; that no one can repent for something they haven’t done wrong. So if he were really in Christ, he would be reaching out on that basis. If the BBC were really interested in doing what’s right and were as virtuous as they project themselves to be, they would be communicating and opening channels on that basis. The fact Lighthouse reached out to the BBC and are reaching out to Mr Hacking, tells you all you need to know about where they’re coming from right now.
Thank you for this update. I’ve recently been reflecting on Christ’s atonement and on what it truly means for us that Christ died for our sins, taking them upon Himself out of His incredible love for humanity.
On the other side, it becomes clearer how institutions such as the BBC struggle to confront their own wrongdoings and scandals that have caused deep suffering to many people, and how a lack of repentance continues their destructive actions.
I also pray for Christian Hacking that he may come to recognise his wrongdoings, develop the courage to face reality both within himself and in the world around him, and overcome his delusions.
I also hope there will be a genuine awakening at the Insolvency Conference that leads to meaningful change within the Insolvency Service, so that individuals like Boris Becker or organisations such as Lighthouse Global are no longer unfairly targeted for institutional gain or trophy hunting.
Wow I pray Mr Beach takes that talk seriously and addresses the points you have made here, though I doubt it unfortunately.
I pray that Mr Hacking comes to his senses and has the humility to address this head on. Because it is the same standard of dealing with problems head on that we are calling anyone to that comes against us in toxic ways like he has.
Ultimately I feel very ashamed in myself for how I treat Christ’s atonement. I know He saved me and that He is cleansing me, but I grieve for where I still grieve Him or even worse, don’t grieve enough. We must all acknowledge our utter need for Jesus.
This update clearly reveals what we as Christian’s need to wake up to. By that I mean our repentance, it’s about admitting our mistakes and making our wrong right. This is what Lighthouse is asking Mr Hacking. The fact that he has yet to reply to the open letters, to me, this shows his lack of willingness to repent. It is also disturbing that he seems to be putting his dad above Christ, I pray for him. What you are sharing about what is to come, I am looking forward to, especially the next in the series of open letters to Mr Beach.

Crucial to hold the IS and the establishment (government, House of Lords, Bank of England etc) to account, because without clear honest and good governance then there can never be any trust in the country or in the society it houses.
