Greetings in Christ,
Yesterday we presented the BBC’s Real Charter… the one they actually operate by as opposed to the one that they say they do. So how does the BBC’s Real Charter play out? How does it look in practice?
Today we’re presenting the case study of the BBC’s fake deceptive documentary A Very British Cult to reveal the BBC’s hypocrisy. What better way to do this than to assess this documythry against BBC Verify’s own standards?
Whilst the BBC boasts with the claim to be the most trusted news source, it believes that this gives it the right to verify everyone else except themselves. A Very British Cult is an exceptional test case in which a barrage of deception through omissions, half-truths and provable and evidential falsehoods serve as a work of soap opera fiction presented as fact.

3. Today’s Daily “Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem” Example
Labour MP Calls Out Justice Secretary’s Falsehoods on Courtroom Capacity
Something deeply troubling is happening inside the justice system, and it’s being hidden behind bureaucratic language and carefully managed statistics. We are being told by David Lammy, who is the current Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and current Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor, that the courts are overstretched, inefficient, and unable to cope with demand and that is why some jury trials need to be scrapped.
Yet in today’s video, we see Mr Lammy being challenged on his claims by a fellow member of the Labour party who states that fifty-six Crown courtrooms are sitting empty, not because of a lack of judges or the dilapidated state of the buildings, but because the government has deliberately capped the number of days they are allowed to operate!
These fifty-six Crown courtrooms are staffed and they are ready to be used, but they are switched off by administrative decree. This inefficiency is not accidental, it is deliberately imposed. Rather than fixing this self-created bottleneck, the proposed solution is even more alarming: reducing or eliminating certain jury trials. Instead of allowing courts to sit and letting citizens participate in justice through juries, the state is floating the idea of bypassing the public altogether. This should ring alarm bells for anyone who understands what jury trials actually represent. They are not a procedural inconvenience; they are one of the last mechanisms that keeps justice anchored to ordinary people rather than concentrated power.
What makes this more concerning is the manipulation of the systems of control used by the Government. First, inefficiency is engineered. Then the inefficiency is cited as proof that the system “doesn’t work.” Finally, core democratic safeguards are removed in the name of pragmatism. Jury trials are framed as outdated or impractical, when in reality they are inconvenient for those who want predictable outcomes and centralised authority. Justice becomes something done to the public, not with them.
The warning here is simple but serious. A justice system that side-lines juries while quietly centralising power is not becoming more efficient; it is becoming less accountable. If control is prioritised over participation, and convenience over principle, then what is being dismantled is not delay or backlog, but the public’s role in justice itself. Once that role is gone, it is rarely given back.

I felt that after what the Labour rebel said, there was going to be a “prank” moment. A “haha surprise, I’m just kidding” because I couldn’t believe what i was hearing. So the same Mr Lammy who went to Harvard Law school who was justifying the reduction in some jury trials because of efficiency is the same Lord Chancellor who is responsible for being inefficient with Crown court operations. If it was a one-off mistake I could put this down to incompetence however because it is clearly orchestrated it is far more nefarious. Thank you for bringing this to the public attention.
Regarding the BBC being upheld to their own standards of BBC Verify, thank you for doing this work. It’s revolting, to know that they claim to be the champion of “trusted” news yet ignore their own standards.
I find it very disturbing that jury trials are being diminished when the reasons given, seem to not be the true reasons when examined. I have hope that this judicial system can be trusted to be built on the Godly, Christian values and principles it was founded on.

This is absolutely spot on about the distinction the public needs to be aware of in regards to the government’s attempts to do without some jury trials; that they are not an inconvenience, but an essential part of maintaining a fair and true justice system. Jury trials have been around for centuries, how can they be “outdated”!? What’s far more concerning is putting judgements in the hands of judges who are paid for by the state who, if they go against the government’s agendas will be liable to lose their employment and livelihoods. Surely this current government, more than any in the past, has given us reason to never take what politicians say is the reason for changes they want to make like this at face value. There is always an ulterior reason they’re hiding and that’s why Citizen Intervention is so necessary. This post describes how they manipulate these changes very well! The establishment doesn’t have our interests at heart, it has that which serves its own!
When Labour MPs are contradicting each other it makes you wonder what the real motives for decisions are.
A self imposed bottle neck like this screams of manipulation.
As with the BBC and its lack of holding itself to its own standards with respect to programme making, the government too doesn’t hold itself to the basic standards needed to run the country.
It is damning what we are seeing in this world. Were it not for a Christian perspective to have the foresight that the world was always going to go this way, it would be extremely demoralising and soul-destroying. What we are seeing today frequently defies logic and reason. The level of chaos increases our responsibility to pray and spread the gospel to our leaders and fellow citizens.
The establishment wants control, so by getting rid of juries, they can control the outcome more by controlling the judicial system. How many people who are serving sentences now would be there if was up to a jury? How many walking free will be walking free if the jury had to decide?
Would a jury have convicted Kris, Sukh and Jatinder? I don’t believe they would have.
The article on the Citizen BBC Verify website discussing the BBC’s so-called documentary “A Very British Cult” clearly highlights the extent of manipulation involved and demonstrates how little regard the BBC has for the wellbeing of people. Rather than acting responsibly, they are driven by their own agenda, prioritising what generates views, even when that content contains claims that are full of provable lies. Meaningful reform is urgently needed.
In regards to the justice system, it is deeply concerning to see how the government increasingly seeks to control people by promoting misleading narratives and using them to advance its agenda, including proposed changes to the law. What the MP in this clip has stated makes it clear that the true reasons behind attempts to remove jury trials are not those publicly claimed.
The fact that 56 Crown Courtrooms can stand empty while officials simultaneously argue that the system lacks efficiency is frankly absurd. It exposes a drive not for justice or effectiveness, but for greater control over the population.

Ah, yet again we are witnessing what appears to be the deliberate manipulation of services to engineer a situation the Government desires. I have witnessed the court system first-hand and genuinely believe the underfunding is designed to manufacture chaos. In that chaos, miscarriages of justice can be hidden. What the MP revealed felt like part of a wider system of control. It may be presented as incompetence, but this looks more like orchestration.
It’s good to see verification of the BBC’s reporting. We need to know what is true and what is false, or when the truth is being manipulated. Half-truths through omission are just as misleading. Right on!!!
How are citizens supposed to trust the Government and the decisions they make, which affect said citizens, when they are in disagreement amongst themselves?!
Incredible update, the exposure of the BBC and their so called standards that they don’t and have not adhered to, it’s terrible to see what they are planning with jury trials.
