7th September 2026 – Lighthouse Monday Update – Will the BBC Face Its Full Record of Sexual Abuse?

Lighthouse Daily – 7th September 2026…

Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today’s update is about a five-minute read and introduces The BBC Paedophilia and Sexual Abuse Register.

The register currently records 85 people and cases across three evidence and connection tiers, distinguishing convictions and guilty pleas from charges, allegations, posthumous findings and cases still requiring stronger evidence. This grave record spans generations of BBC-connected figures and raises a question the Corporation can no longer answer through isolated apologies and repeated assurances that lessons have been learned: will the BBC finally submit its full record to independent scrutiny?

If you are new to our work at Lighthouse Global and want to understand why the Establishment attacked us, click below to read a statement from our CEO and founder, Paul S. Waugh.

1. Body of Christ Zero Degrees of Separation and Last Days Critical To-Do List

Truth Must Protect the Vulnerable

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” — Proverbs 31:8

Behind every substantiated offence stands at least one human life violated, and often many more whose names may never become public. Children and adults who have suffered sexual abuse are not statistics in an institutional history. They are human beings whose trust, safety, families and futures may have been permanently altered.

That reality must determine how we approach this register. We must neither sensationalise suffering nor allow evidential caution to become emotional distance. Where guilt has been established, it must be named plainly. Where an allegation remains unresolved, that distinction must be preserved just as plainly. Truth and love do not compete; truthful precision is one of the ways love protects the vulnerable.

2. Correcting the False Public Record

Introducing The BBC Paedophilia and Sexual Abuse Register

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” — Ephesians 5:11 (NIV)

The BBC Paedophilia and Sexual Abuse Register brings the Corporation’s accumulated history into one transparent, source-led and correctable public-interest account.

The register spans decades and includes presenters, producers, executives, engineers, performers and others given access, visibility or public trust through the Corporation. Its three-tier structure separates direct BBC connections from indirect ones and from cases requiring further evidence or reclassification. Legal and evidential status is stated entry by entry so that conviction is never implied where none exists.

The verified core already demands an answer. Jimmy Savile was not the BBC’s only convicted or extensively corroborated abuser. Stuart Hall was not the only other case. The accumulating record raises an institutional question that cannot be answered by repeatedly declaring that lessons have been learned: what patterns of access, celebrity, hierarchy, suppressed warnings, safeguarding failure and reputation management allowed abuse or exploitation to continue, remain concealed or recur?

The Dame Janet Smith Review found a BBC “culture of not complaining” during the Savile period, with staff fearing reprisals, career damage and being labelled troublemakers. The register asks what was learned, what measurably changed and why the BBC has still not publicly assembled its complete record for independent pattern analysis.

This is not a claim that the BBC caused every offence committed by everyone it employed or platformed. It is a demand that the Corporation face the whole record with the same investigative intensity and public-interest standard it applies to others.

3. Application and Moving Forward

Victims Must Be Honoured. The Institution Must Answer.

“The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.” — Proverbs 18:17 (NIV)

A register of this seriousness must remain open to correction. Lighthouse Global will strengthen or replace sources, update legal outcomes, reclassify entries and add relevant cases when credible evidence requires it.

We will not knowingly preserve an error because it appears to support the wider case.

Equally, the correction of one entry cannot honestly erase the substantial verified record represented by the others.

The BBC, under former Director-General Tim Davie and current Director-General Matt Brittin, must now answer direct questions. Will it publish a complete, independently verified register of convicted sexual offenders among employees, contractors, regular presenters and production personnel? Will it disclose known warnings, complaints and management decisions while protecting victims? Will it identify people retained, promoted or platformed after concerns were known? Will it commission a genuinely independent post-Savile pattern review rather than compartmentalising each new case?

Exposure must also lead beyond institutional embarrassment. Victims need truth, justice, meaningful support, healing and appropriate compensation. No payment can restore a stolen childhood or reverse trauma, but those consequences must not be left with victims while powerful institutions preserve their reputation and continue without full accountability.

As you read the register, please pray for every person who has been abused: for protection, courage, justice, healing and loving support. Pray for anyone who may still be in danger or unable to speak. Pray also for genuine conviction, confession, repentance and submission to justice among perpetrators—and for every institutional structure that places power, reputation or career above the vulnerable to be brought decisively into the light.

The record will continue to develop. The governing commitment is simple: victims must be honoured, evidence must be handled truthfully, the false public record must be corrected and the institution must answer.

Note: Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple Establishment attacks on him, these daily updates are generated by the team, drawing from recent and older meetings and what we are working with here at Lighthouse. We ask you to keep him in your prayers as he builds strength and renews in our Lord.

God bless,

Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash and Shaun Cooper

This register sends a chill down your spine. To see name after name after name, and source link after source link, some from the BBC’s own news but never compiled like this is actually terrifying. You understand so much more the gravity and extent of what the BBC has tried to pretend is not a chronic problem. The fact that there are so many recognisable names scattered among a plethora of other completely unknown names, spanning DECADES… That is not behaviour you can talk yourself out of. That requires utterly radical reform on a scale that I don’t know if the BBC is capable of.

Thank you very much for the care shown here for the vulnerable and also the prayer before the register. These aren’t scandalous pieces of news. Each case can represent tens or hundreds or even thousands of children who were abused by absolutely Satanic industries of abuse. Childhoods have been robbed, lives destroyed.. this is not a game or a tagline. It is horrendous evil.

Thank you for bringing together such a rigorous and important piece of work. Bringing the full record together makes the scale and seriousness impossible to ignore. Above all, the victims and those affected deserve truth, justice and genuine accountability. 🙏

This is significant and well overdue update. For the last couple of years we’ve shared statistics of the number of convictions for child sexual abuse since the death of Jimmy Savile. This register, however, takes things to a whole new level… the names, the convictions, the charges, the allegations and the suspects.

Unless I’m mistaken, no else has attempted to and is bringing together a definitive list of BBC child sexual abuse perpetrators. This is huge step in revealing whether or not the BBC is acting in the public interest… plenty of work to be done through Citizen BBC Verify and BBC Inner Eye.

What is most shocking is that behind each of those perpetrators’ names are individual victims who experienced real pain and suffering, often resulting in lifelong trauma. God bless all the victims, and I pray that they will experience justice.

What has happened at the BBC is not a one-off incident involving someone simply overstepping the mark. This is institutionalised evil and a whole culture of paedophilia and abuse.

It is time to correct the public record about the BBC and bring out the truth beyond the perceptions of who the BBC is.

Thank you for this update. What you have shared about how the victims must be honoured is absolutely right. They are people; they deserve to be treated as people. What has happened to them is diabolical evil, and they need to be compensated. I value what you have done with the register; the public needs to know this. Why? Because it is in their interest…God bless you all for all the work you are doing and for helping the victims of these sexual abuse cases get the compensation that is due to them…Amen

I am absolutely blown away by what I have seen on the register, the sheer number of convictions, the depth of depravity committed against human beings and the reality that this organisation still exists, it is extremely, extremely disturbing.
God bless and help every victim of each of these predators 🙏

Having the truth brought to light is always the first step in correcting these heinous crimes. While the damage can not be fully undone, the accountability can bring closure and protection for future vulnerable children and people.

The truth will speak for itself and I pray for all involved they may find peace in God.

How important is it to have this register for the BBC’s sexual abuse? I was seeing how critical it is to reveal the nature of what’s at the heart of the BBC. We need to place the BBC where it needs to be placed, not as the darling of broadcasting that sits in the hearts of millions. They clearly aren’t beneficial to the public, even though they present themselves as that.

This register is very much needed, maybe as a start to removing the BBC from our lives.

Thank you.
