Today’s update is about an 8 minute read.

1. Our Personal, Interpersonal & Global Commission from Christ: The Problems We Face and Solutions Needed
“Surely I spoke of things I did not understand.” – Job 42:3
Have you ever blamed God for something that grieved you?
Resented Him for a problem in your life?
Hated Him for pain you’ve suffered?
Directly and indirectly, without realising it, we do this everyday in subtle ways.
Blaming the traffic. Resenting the weather. Using tiredness or an illness as an excuse for our laziness.
Whatever it is, we have tragically all done it and continue to do it.
This is but one aspect of the Christ Syndrome; abusing Christ Himself and the irreplicable sacrifice He has made for us.
This video is a short, but very powerful reminder, of how arrogant we can become, and how much we do not appreciate God’s eternal love:
2. Targeted from Within: The Greatest Threats to the Body of Christ from Inside
“For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, then I could bear it; nor is it one who hates me who has magnified himself against me, then I could hide myself from him. But it is you, a man my equal, my close companion and my familiar friend” – Psalm 55:12-13
The Judas Syndrome is a devastating reality that comes at Christians from a multitude of angles.
It could be a best friend.
A pastor.
A family member.
A spouse.
Even well-known Christians whom we trust.
Listen to this brother who was literally assaulted by a woman he committed himself to.
This is a real, widespread syndrome. Millions of brothers and sisters in Christ are bleeding on the inside because of the betrayal that has devastated their lives. So many, understandably but tragically, confuse the betrayal by someone who professes Christ’s name, with Christ.
We know through our experiences at Lighthouse Global, that these people try to hide in the shadows and always play the victim when they are exposed. It is precisely why we as Christians in fact must protect each other from these dark and demonic spirits invading the Body of Christ.
This is the very reason why we are holding individuals like Christian Hacking accountable for causing harm and destruction to Christians and Christian communities, like that of Lighthouse.
14 Days of No Response from Christian Hacking
It has now been 14 days since this offer to reconcile and engage in a debate in Christ was extended, and we have received no response from Mr Hacking. While he writes articles about spilt milk, there has not been one extension from him to make his wrongs right.
3. Targeted from the Outside: How The Establishment Persecutes us Christians
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12
“[Boris Becker] did not have what mattered most, namely: A purpose-built community capable of standing with him, advocating for him, and challenging instances of criminality, corruption, incompetence and weaponisation in the system. He was therefore extremely vulnerable. And that is the lesson.”

As individuals, and as we have experienced personally at Lighthouse, we are extremely vulnerable to any form of weaponisation of government or agency attack:
- Your bank account is frozen without notice
- Your reputation is attacked by an online predatory troll, or a global/local media outlet
- You are being monitored by other citizens who believe widespread lies about you
- Your livelihood is threatened because your income has been taken from you
Most of these threats may seem very “out there”, as if they’d never happen to you.
Do you think Boris Becker ever expected to be targeted the way he was?
How many people wake up today expecting to be targeted? Arrested falsely? Sentenced to jail unlawfully? Have their bank account shutdown because of an anonymous fake whistleblower?
Please don’t let yourself fall into the trap of thinking these things cannot happen to you.

These videos and explanations hit really hard. The first video especially hit me. I’ve been going through some things recently wrestling with a lot and to appreciate how much Jesus Christ, God the Father and The Holy Spirit have done for me, through their sacrifice is something I fail at but am trying to see, feel and live out much more. Thank you for this.
The video of the husband with what I can only describe as a Jezebel is infuriating, saddening and desperate. Wow… how much is this going on? From what I’ve seen, there’s no hard evidence into how much “church hurt” (ie betrayal, smearing, toxic abuse) there is in churches across the world. That’s research that needs to be implemented and acted on to help heal so much hurt.
I’m feeling the reality of where this world is and the increased ease of being targeted by corrupt forces. Thank you for these stark messages and advice on preparing in community.
I can definitely relate to blaming God or others instead of taking responsibility for my life. For a long time, I didn’t understand the Christ Syndrome, the nature of systemic control, or how deeply people can be indoctrinated from an early age through the education system and wider cultural influences.
Without developing greater awareness and discernment, it becomes very difficult to protect ourselves, as the examples of Boris Becker and also of the man in the video in this article who was abused by his wife clearly show. We need purpose-built communities to stop being so vulnerable and being controlled and manipulated by the Establishment and their institutions.
Thank you for this education and update. The first video is from a film called The Shack based upon a fictional book of the same name. The protaginist is angry at God because one of his children is abducted and murdered and I know I’ve said hundreds of times in my life “why does God allow evil” or “if there was a God how could there be evil” – so yeah, the Christ syndrome has been very prevalent in my life.
God bless the guy in the second video, I can see he wanted to give his ex-wife every chance but when someone refuses to see their wrong doing and repent, one has to take action rather than allowing the abuse to continue.
This is critical. The enemy will always strike when someone is vulnerable, which is why the call to stand together and build purpose-built communities is so important. As times become harder, darker, and more threatening — especially within Christian communities — we must come together in Christ as much as is feasibly possible. Thank you for highlighting this and for providing such important insight into the Judas and Christ syndromes.
The video of the man judging God having such a big paradigm shift when he’s challenged to put himself in the same position is a really powerful lesson. We do not realise anywhere close how Christ’s atonement is the ultimate and most powerful display of constructive love there has ever been. I know I am guilty of blaming and having been frustrated and angry at God many times in my life to my shame. How perspective changes the more the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin and we realise just how much of a wretched despicable fool we are to have thought and felt that way to our incredible creator. Forgive me Father! And God bless the pastor who’s partner betrayed and treated him so terribly. My heart goes out to him. That and what we’ve experienced with Mr Hacking at Lighthouse and from the establishment all confirms and hits home why we so desperately need a saviour and how blessed we are to have one truly in Jesus Christ!
These examples are so striking. We are covered by the blood of Jesus and yet still we can get lost in our own selfishness and greed, or we can be so easily duped by those who are. Again the scripture of being wise as serpents but innocent as doves comes to me. We need to allow God to mould us and form us into His image, purging from us all iniquity and standing against unrighteousness, together as the Body 🙏
This post hits home a critically important lesson on responsibility. I have very much seen over the course of my life that I’ve wanted to blame someone or something else rather for problems than to take responsibility myself. Meanwhile at the same time I’ve lived much of my life as a rugged individual, believing that I could somehow achieve whatever I wanted by my own endeavours. This is so counter and contrary to how God designed us.
What also struck me was the example of the pastor and the cheating wife. It’s terrible to see how someone could lead such a lie and put someone else through a living hell that would also impact a number of children. I’ve seen firsthand how damaging it can be to not be a good judge of character in relationships. The problem seems to repeat itself time and time again in people’s lives and also be passed down through generations.
The other point is that those within the so-called Body of Christ also represent a huge threat and danger. I was listening to a John MacArthur sermon this morning about this very subject – the reality of spiritual warfare and what we need to be most aware of.
“The spiritual war certainly has to be fought against those who attack from the outside. And the long war against God has not just been from the inside. Believe me; it’s been from the outside, but the most formidable blows against the truth come from the inside; anybody will tell you that. The greatest danger to an arm is from the inside. Traitors, defectors, spies really working for the enemy who are trusted.” – John MacArthur Sermon: The Enemy Within, 11/1/2004
Lastly I appreciate coming back to the situation with Boris Becker and the Insolvency Service. There’s a big Insolvency conference and celebration event going on in Budapest, plenty of smoozing and backslapping, but seeking to address the incomporruption (incompetence and corruption) of the Insolvency Service that we’re seeing in our own case as well as others.
It’s real out there, and in here, in the body. Too many have the veneer of Christians, but a satanic heart, like the guy in the video. A real facing of the truth of the state of Christianity. It’s a bitter pill to swallow indeed, but it must be.
It is essential that these lessons are shared with the Body of Christ. Just because we have people around us who proclaim to be followers and believers of Christ does not mean they are one. It is hard to accept, but it does, and is happening.
Matthew 10:35-36: “For I came to cause division, with a man against his father… Indeed, a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.”
Hearing the pastor share what he went through with his wife, what she did to him, but accused him of doing it to her, helps me to realise just how careful, as an emerging woman in Christ, I need to be. Thank you for opening my eyes up to the dangers that are not just out in the world, but also in my own home.

I think back on the many times I blamed God for my circumstances, that I had created, and see that even now I still do the same thing and I repent of this abuse of God. I still do not appreciate what Christ did for me and all those who believe in Him and I realise that He has allowed me to experience some very difficult times, that He has taken me into and through the wilderness, as He did the Israelites because He always know what is best and He knew what would be on the other side of the wilderness. So slowly but surely, my perception and perspective is changing and this includes becoming more aware of the Judas Syndrome in my own blood family. Many of them have claimed to be Christian’s but have betrayed me when I needed their help the most. I have forgiven them and pray for them and I am now taking this syndrome a lot more seriously. Thank you for the daily reminders 🙏

It is so true now, years after i first heard it, since it is only by having good people around you that you can withstand any attack from the establishment or other bullies. Not just physical, but the ‘lawfare’ and social media attacks that have such a devastating affect on our lives.
