How the Mainstream Media Corrupts Our Beliefs

Yesterday, we showed you a glimpse into how the history of the United States of America has been falsified.
Today, we bring it into the present-day reality of how the mainstream media presents these lies through the mouth of American journalist Katie Couric.
What is so dangerous here is not just that the media spews deceit. It’s that these lies, fed consistently, purposefully, over time through history books, schools, media and society, become ingrained in people’s belief systems.
If these establishment mouthpieces can easily lie and deceive millions of people about the foundations of a nation, how else are they manipulating your belief systems?
How about the truth of who God is, for one!

The Danger of Toxic Rationalisation

Yesterday we shared an excerpt from Susan Forward’s book, “Toxic Parents”, about how impactful a parent’s attitude to the truth is on their children.
Today, we’re sharing another insight from Ms Forward, the act of “rationalising” the irrational. As she writes…
“For many adult children of toxic parents, denial is a simple, unconscious process of pushing certain events and feelings out of conscious awareness, pretending those events never happened. But others… take a more subtle approach: rationalisation.
When we rationalise, we use “good reasons” to explain away what is painful and uncomfortable.
Here are a few typical rationalisations:
– My father only screamed at me because my mother nagged him.
– My mother only drank because she was lonely. I should have stayed home with her more.
– My father beat me, but he didn’t mean to hurt me; he only meant to teach me a lesson.
– My mother never paid any attention to me because she was so unhappy.
– I can’t blame my father for molesting me. My mother wouldn’t sleep with him, and men need sex.
All these rationalisations have one thing in common: they serve to make the unacceptable acceptable. On the surface, it may appear to work, but a part of you always knows the truth.”

3. Targeted from the Outside: How The Establishment Persecutes us Christians
BBC Disinformation Exposed on Flagship “Question Time”
“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbour, for we are all members of one body.” –– Ephesians 4:25
As we recently explained, when most people hear the phrase “fake news,” they picture completely fabricated news stories. But that is only one form of deception. In reality, some of the most effective propaganda contains plenty of truth; it is simply manipulated to create a false picture of reality.
There are three principal forms of false information:
- Misinformation is inaccurate information shared by someone who mistakenly believes it is true.
- Disinformation is deliberately false information created or presented with the intention of deceiving the public.
- Malinformation uses genuine facts, but presents them selectively, out of context or in a misleading way to manipulate public opinion.
The BBC has repeatedly been guilty of systematically shaping narratives through disinformation and malinformation.
The video below examines allegations surrounding a recent edition of Question Time, its flagship weekly political programme, which attracts very prominent political guests.
If these allegations presented in the video are correct, viewers are watching a carefully constructed political narrative against the Reform political party, whose political agenda is in direct opposition to the current Establishment.
Therefore, the BBC strongly disagrees with them, while the public is falsely led to believe it was a genuine debate!
This is classic disinformation.
Fake news is rarely as simple as an outright lie. More often, it is achieved through selective editing, carefully chosen contributors, hidden agendas, and the deliberate omission of crucial facts. The public reaches conclusions based on a manufactured version of reality.
This situation is atrocious! If the BBC is capable of such skulduggery on their flagship programmes, which receive a great deal of attention, where else are they creating toxic fake news and deceiving the public?
Don’t just ask whether something shown on television is true— because almost everything is true at some level.
Ask whether you are being shown the whole truth— or whether what appears to be reality has been carefully manufactured for you. This is why Lighthouse Global will shortly be launching a campaign to help Christians and global citizens to understand where they are victims of fake news and precisely what to do to go about correcting the false cognitive and public record!

The justifications outlined by the late Susan Forward, could easily be cited by the BBC to justify their own disinformation and lies.
They will often take a fact, spin it or not report the whole situation in its full context, then claim that they were the victim! They will justify their own wrong doing and then claim they did it ‘in the public interest’.
Which now means absolutely nothing.
The important work continues to sort fact from fiction.
Thank you for a very powerful update! What the Mainstream Media is doing could not be more Orwellian and 1984. There is a famous quote from the book that says “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” That’s what I believe the media, as Establishment owned propaganda / Satanic globalist agenda propagation platforms, are doing in these situations. They are gaslighting the public in direct contravention to the evidential and provable truth as a test to see how many object and what the masses do about it, how indignant they are, how many notice it and call it out. The more accepted it is, the more the Establishment knows they can do this kind of thing and so the more Godless our society becomes the more people will accept and even defend such blatant lies as this. It’s heinously evil and extremely dangerous if we don’t want to walk into overtly tyrannical dictatorship.
Just as Susan Forward realised, we make rationalisations about our governments who are abusing us too and we must wake up out of that and stand against this. I know that well, I have done that so much in my own life with my own family, but sooner or later we have to commit either to the truth (no matter how much it hurts) or the lie.
As for the BBC, I am not surprised and I don’t expect anything different. If anything, this is some of the least of what they do to manipulate and deceive the public.
Wow, it is astonishing how much we don’t know about what we don’t know, including what we’re fed by the media. This is an atrocious and unfortunate, yet entirely appropriate, example of exactly that happening in full force. We all need to grow in discernment and carefully question what is being presented to us by the media—or anyone else, for that matter—and ask why. Thank you for these incredible lessons. God bless.
That is a horrific lie the BBC have been caught in. The fact that this just gets dismissed as the norm and that this isn’t a scandal that shuts down the BBC altogether just shows how used to their bold faced lies we have become. It is not acceptable and we ought to be outraged by it. Not rationalise it like some child of a toxic parent. Just because “auntie” did it and they gave us Only Fools and Horses doesn’t mean they aren’t also forcing a politicised agenda down our throats.
What stands out from today’s post is how it calls out the lies that we encounter inside our own homes (in the case of the extract from Toxic Parents) and indeed from outside our homes (from the Establishment media).
The examples of Katie Couric and BBC’s Question Time reveal how blatantly the mainstream media believes it can broadcast falsehoods to millions with the public being none the wiser. In fact, were it not for the more independent sources of information, this propaganda would’ve likely gone unchallenged!
It’s examples like these that make the UK Government’s attempts to prioritise mainstream media sources all the more sickening.
This is exactly why organisations like Citizen Intervention Global are needed.
Thank you for another powerful update – seeing the malinformation and disinformation in these examples of Katie Couric and BBC question time is just horrendous. I used to follow both Katie Couric when she spoke about US Elections and BBC Question time – phew the deception. More and more of these mainstream media deception tactics needs to be exposed.
Katie Couric is a big name in American media. For her to smear the name of Christ, and conflating it with some fabricated idea of terrorism is not only heinous, but deeply disturbing how normalised that narrative is. I see how this impacts the cognitive record; a falsehood gets established as fact historically. It’s repeated over and over again in school and in the media, then we come to accept it as normal. This happens, despite the logic, facts and evidence showing us otherwise. There is Satan behind it all. So what Susan Forward outlines here is essential, God bless her. Her work has been profound but sadly something we don’t hear about in the mainstream at all. I’m really not surprised by the diabolical deception from the BBC’s Question Time. Something again presented as fact when it’s clearly, not.
Thank you for this article. This shows again the evil of the BBC and of the mainstream media and how they choose to manipulate and lie to citizens, and how they consciously and deliberately try to manipulate reality.
What they have done on Question Time and the fake news that they have planted absolutely requires a correction of the public record, and there need to be consequences.
This also shows that the way the media regulators operate simply does not work.
The potential effects of this media manipulation, with a country’s history being rewritten and the establishment trying to eradicate Christ from the founding books, show how seriously these issues ought to be taken. This affects the future of our children, and it is all our responsibility to protect the next generation’s future.
The way the media is operating, it is clear that they are biased. That Christian Nationalism label is deceitful. Your country was built on it, and that is why it was successful, and I say was, as it is dying because they are moving away from it. With the disinformation from the BBC against Reform UK, it is heinous and foul. Their actions are those of scumbags. They are horrible, I cannot mince my words. They are fake news artists, presenting things in a certain way that is not so. The BBC needs to fold.
Thank you very much for the three principal forms of false information, particularly, the education on fake news, is an education that is needed for everyone but particularly for Christian’s as we increasingly face anti-Christian propaganda and lies which are designed to falsify the record about Christ…this we will not stand for!
This update is another clear indication of how the BBC maliciously manipulate the public into believing their lies. Ms Forward has outlined not just how we justify the abuse from our parents, but also how the public justifies the actions of the BBC: “What they are broadcasting is in the public’s interest” It isn’t. Planting immigrants into a supposed fair Question Time is not in the public’s interest. Such a powerful and informative update, thank you so much, everyone…
