Good day fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
This may seem an obvious question. It may even seem a redundant question to some…
But ask yourself, who is in control of my life?
The obvious answer would be “me”, right?
Well, let’s just examine this a bit deeper.
If you are really in control of your life, that means you are in control of the choices you make, and have been making for at least however long you’ve been a conscious adult.
That would mean that you are able to choose what you need, what you don’t need, what you want and what you don’t want, right?
So the next logically deduced question would be, do you have everything you need in your life, in all areas of value:
- Theochristological: The very foundation of our lives; the very epitome of truth, reality and constructive, self-sacrificing love. Our relationship with these (as Jesus described Himself, as “The Way, The Truth, The Life”) determines what we actually worship and the quality of lives we live. This is why communing with God’s Spirit, in prayer, is so critical to optimising our lives.
- Human: Your fundamental endowments as a human being, starting with self-awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. Exercised through the four intelligences we have of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. These largely unopened birth gifts are hardly even known, let alone developed, let alone used well, by the vast majority of human beings. Why? Because we have never been educated as human beings – which is a deliberate tactic from the top tier Establishment to disempower and disable the masses.
- Material: Every material asset from the home you live in to the transport you use, and the value you place in them.
- Financial: The amount of money required for enabling you to have the materials you need and want, and to invest in your own development and growth as a human.
So to come back to the original question, are you in control of your life? All of it?
If the answer is even no at a 10% level, then we have to ask, why not?
What, or who, is stopping you from having the control you need in and of your life?
The answer to that question, is not simple. It is complex and vast, at times disturbing and distressing, but ultimately critical… if you genuinely desire to take control of your life. It is one of the many thousands of questions that we have been agonisingly and earnestly searching for answers for through our research at Lighthouse Global for the last 21 years.
This is precisely why our mission at Lighthouse Global has been to identify and remove the barriers, obstacles and restraining forces that prevent us from realising our God-given potential, so that we never have to say no where we ought to say yes, inside our souls, inside our homes and outside them.
We believe that God has given us the incredible gift of choice and control over our own lives – and we must use those gifts with as much responsibility fuelled by our conscience as possible.
We will be sharing key insights, further questions and examples in the coming days. For now, we wanted to share this audio clip of Paul answering the question,
“Does a mentor control your life?”
This transpired to answer the deeper question; “who is in control of your life?”
This was recorded in 2012, long before we were targeted by these Establishment attacks. We as individuals at that time were exclusively exploring New Age and personal development work in our constant and never-ending pursuit of truth, reality and value. As Carl Jung said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
The personal development industry and New Age movements however, are not driven by God’s Spirit. They are driven by the human spirit at best, at worst the satanic forces, all at the exclusion of God’s Spirit. The satanic spirit is the ultimate destroyer that comes in the name of good!
By God’s mercy and grace, since those days we have been transformed by Christ’s Spirit. He has graced us with the privilege of coming to know Him, The The Way, The Truth, The Life (John 14:6).
We need God’s Spirit through Christ indwelling in us. We have only been able to truly live our work in the best possible way, since we came to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Through communing with His Holy Spirit in prayer, we are realising what true self control, indeed a fruit of His Spirit, is. It was precisely as some of us at Lighthouse delved into the Sermon on the Mount, that the orchestrated and co-ordinated Establishment attacks come down upon us. Hence, this answer is even more relevant now, because of the extreme control measures that the top tier Establishment have put in place to suppress and oppress the bottom tier masses – most obviously and clearly, Christians.

The biggest thing that struck me from this audio is the willingness to be wrong in order to be right and to feel small in order to get more in touch with reality. Honestly listening to this, knowing it was from almost 15 years ago, yet the fundamental truths still apply is powerful, stark and eye opening for me. It shows me the power of wisdom; that it is not ordinary information. It is profound and highly differentiated to everyday knowledge. God bless you Paul. This is another powerful example of the research and work we have been doing for over two decades, which has been deliberately and maliciously ignored and suppressed by the BBC and Daily Mail. Why? Because they don’t want citizens gaining true self control. As you say, this is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. This is another marker of why Christians are such a big threat to the Establishment; control. Boom. Powerful update.
A really valuable post with a powerful audio from around 14 years ago! I believe that a tiny extract of this was included in A Very British Cult, but it was made out to be something negative rather than to be presented as the empowering message it is.
What I have learnt about myself and about people in general is that we have no idea about how much we inflate ourselves and our identities in order to feel better. That’s incredibly woke and post-modernist perspective on ourselves and our lives that ultimately gets us nowhere.
One of the biggest reasons that I got involved with and have stayed involved with Lighthouse is because the aim of our work has always been about helping me to lead, direct, manage and control myself. Meanwhile I’ve seen that I’ve had many people in my life who really liked me as a spineless, ‘nice’ and people-pleasing institutionalised old infant. For everyday citizens to become empowered leaders of self is extremely intimidating for the global establishment and malignantly toxic family members, partners etc wanting to control such people.
It’s amazing (but not surprising) how the BBC, in over 5 hours of material did not mention:

As each day goes by, and each update is posted, it becomes more damning for the BBC…
Debunking BBC Lies
This is a really powerful recording. I remember listening to this years ago realising how much I was not and had not been in control of my life and life decisions. The fact that years later I am still in the process of doing that shows how much I have been conditioned by my past indoctrination. I can see how much school and the Establishment have indoctrinated me to believe in beliefs and knowledge that are far from reality and which are a detriment to my ability to build value in all areas of my life.
I had no idea what is needed to start taking control of my life, and how much previous conditioning stands in the way of doing so. This journey is as much about unlearning old, useless, and outdated habits and attitudes as it is about learning about myself, truth, and reality.
We can’t be on this journey on our own; we need others who can guide and support us where needed. Trying to do this without God’s Spirit is very limiting, as we have experienced ourselves in the past when exploring New Age practices.
I remember listening to this audio quite a few years ago, and looking back, it shows how much healing and growth are needed to become more in touch with our potential.

Thank you for this update. Really powerful audio that I found valuable to come back to time and time again and seeing how our work has progressed since then. This really challenged me to reflect honestly on who is truly shaping my choices, and whether I’m actually living under God’s authority or just assuming I am.
Thank you for this update because if you were to ask the average citizen, they would say they want control over their own lives and many, including myself, believes that we do have control over our lives. However, there have been some striking and eye opening articles published in the last few weeks alone, that have revealed that we have been heavily scammed and indoctrinated by the top tier Establishment and we are not as in control as we think we are.
Only through our Lord and through acquiring the extensive knowledge of who we are as human beings and how we were designed to work effectively, can we begin to detach ourselves from the claws of the top tier Establishment and build our lives and the capability to choices we consciously choose to.
Really strong article and audio thank you, because most of us like to think we’re in control of our own lives until we start looking honestly at what’s actually driving us — fear, comfort, approval, avoidance, habit, image, conditioning. Control isn’t always obvious or external. A lot of the time it’s internal, hidden, and deeply normalised.
Thank you so very much for sharing this update and audio. If asked this question a few weeks ago, I would definitely have said I was in control. Now, with what you have been sharing about the establishment, I would not answer that I am in control. 99.9999% of what I choose is from how indoctrinated I have been into the system, and making choices I believe I am making, but in reality, it’s the programming from my past.
Powerful update and audio, especially where Paul is sharing that the establishment knows who we are and where we are. Every day we use our debit card, they know what we are doing and buying. It’s scary that they know so much about our lives and can pull the plug as quickly as it takes us to take out a plug for any of our appliances.

When we realise that everything is about control it awakens something in us that starts to see and work with reality in a way that we never have done before. We start to become aware of how much the establishment and its systems are seeking to control us, not in a good way that is beneficial and empowering to our growth. No. In many different ways that seek to limit, distract and disempower us as much as possible while still keeping us usable to work the system itself. I know that the idea of waking up to this for people is frightening, even terrifying to the point that they deny it and run away from it, but what is worse? Is it better to be so easy to manipulate and have your thinking and behaviours controlled to the point of severe limitation in your life? Why would anyone consciously choose that? And that’s the point, they wouldn’t. They have been programmed out of even wanting to solve that problem and to want to stay as limited as they are, while seeking a better life. That is awful! It’s abominable how much we have been programmed to limit ourselves in this way and not just ourselves, others too – hence the tall poppy syndrome! I thank God for Him opening my eyes to start to see and learn about how controlled I was and still am by the conditioning of my upbringing and the establishment’s brainwashing systems of limitation. He is the only solution and way out of that to true and real freedom and liberation from that, even in our current sinful and imperfect state.
It took me a long while to realise what you are sharing here. We have been seriously short changed in our education, coming out of school knowing nothing of real value, such as understanding who we are and how to realise our potential. It was all about getting a job. That not controlling our lives, but how much we believe that. We’re not in control and when we accept that we can some level of control. Thank you for highlighting the truth here.
The biggest scam of the establishment is to control our choices and therefore our lives, while making us believe that we have choice ourselves!
Politics is an example – we get to choose what policies govern us, yet nothing much ever seems to change.
