Good day fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Today’s update is about a 15 minute read.
In this update:
- The Christ Syndrome and the Satanic Syndrome — two foundational syndromes shaping humanity right now
- A case study in hypocrisy and attack-from-within the Body of Christ — Featuring Christian Hacking
- How language is weaponised against Christians — especially the word “cult”
1. Our Personal, Interpersonal & Global Commission from Christ: the problems we face and the solutions needed
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.” — John 14:6
Life, to most people, is an utter mystery.
Day after day becomes a loop of automatic interactions, situations, and experiences. Many are programmed into this by indoctrination and distraction.
This is not how God made or intended us to be.
Even among Christians who profess Christ as Saviour, many don’t live like it—too pulled by temptation, chaos, and the addictive desires of the world.
If most people were asked, “What are the biggest problems in your life?”, many would struggle to answer.
Some would guess: “bills”, “my relationship”, or whatever is most urgent in the moment. Some might say “the government”, but without clarity on why.
If we are to realise our God-given potential, we must see what blocks it.
So what are the greatest problems?
Our research at Lighthouse is driven by that question—to get to the root where almost no one else is looking (or even knows to look).
What are the most pervasive and life decimating problems and syndromes in the way of realising your God-given potential?
Today we are introducing what we have found to be the two greatest syndromic issues for human beings.
What is the Christ Syndrome (in plain terms)?
1) The Christ Syndrome has two parts:
- Rejection (in whole or in part): rejecting God, His goodness, and specifically redemption through His Son Jesus Christ.
- Failure to help: a lack of willingness or ability to truly help others—especially at our own expense.
This syndrome affects Christians and non-Christians alike.
Many Christians can go an entire day, week, month, or years without genuinely being aware of God and His Grace which pervades every area of our lives in millions of ways. Never mind actually being eternally thankful to Him for saving us from eternal hell. Where we find ourselves is without even a basic awareness of where we desperately need His help, or any real desire to help others. This is the Christ Syndrome – a denial of where we truly need help (ultimately salvation from Christ) and our lack of desire, willingness and/ability to help others. Especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We think, as long as “I’m okay”, everything else becomes superfluous to what we perceive we need.
This is contrasted with the other ultimate syndrome that produces a hellish false sense of security.
What is the Satanic Syndrome (and where it leads)
2) The Satanic Syndrome follows a consistent path:
- It starts with: believing Satan does not exist (or refusing to even entertain the possibility).
- It ends in: being duped into Satan’s pathology—without realising who (or what) is behind it.
This produces a blindness to the danger and pathology of evil itself.
If someone believes the material world is all there is, and that power is held only by politicians and their overlords, then that person is dangerously deceived.
It means becoming a puppet in Satan’s world.
Because believe us: the people who truly know Satan is real—including those who worship him in their own evil—also know in their bones that the God of the Bible is real.
This is only an introduction.
There is deep complexity here, so please take time to re-read and digest this for yourself. Take your time. We will be building on this in subsequent updates.
2. Targeted from Within: the greatest threats to the Body of Christ from inside
“You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” — Matthew 7:5
If you are not familiar with our investigation and case study into Christian Hacking, below is some context. If you are familiar already, scroll down to “Invasive questioning about family trauma”.
Christian Hacking presented himself to Lighthouse Global as self-proclaimed “very amateur” independent, Christian journalist. Given he put himself forward as a brother in Christ who was struggling to support his family, we wanted to support him as much as possible. But as we only later found out, he had a vested interest in demonising Lighthouse through toxic framing; he needed and wanted us to be a cult and for Paul S Waugh to be the cult leader despite there being extensive evidence available that him that completely refuted this. . It suited him for the sake of his amateur journalistic career to simulate this big scoop (no matter how false and deceptive) at Paul’s and Lighthouse’s expense. Given his sinister, deceptive and cynical intentions as well as his sheer lack of professionalism, lack of quality audience and reach, Lighthouse decided that we could not work with him.
Mr Hacking decided to send Paul 150 biased, cynical, self-righteous, prosecutorial questions which he demanded to be answered. Before he sent one question, Paul made it abundantly clear to him on the 26th January 2026 via an audio message, that we could in no way work with him.
Mr Hacking is at the least demonstrating a petty vendetta, if not the possible marks of being a media plant by the BBC. Both he and his dad have praised the media outlet despite its diabolical history of child abuse, deceiving the public and demanding a forced licence fee. If Mr Hacking is trying to misrepresent and smear Christian communities as cults because of his own agenda rather than any genuine thorough investigation, then this must be put to an end now. This is the reason for this investigation and case study into him and him being the face of our educational series on the Judas Syndrome. Our full website on Mr Hacking can be found here.
Addressing such falsehoods and misleading statements is not primarily just about Mr Hacking. It is about the wider, orchestrated attack on purpose-built communities and close-knit groups that do not suit the top-tier Establishment agenda. They are branding any such group, or even a business or political party as an “alleged cult”. This has been the trend for the last five years at least, as a means of controlling the mainstream narrative to ensure that their ideology is preserved and anyone who opposes it, even non-Christians, are ostracised and smeared irreparably.

Invasive questioning about family trauma
One of those 150 questions that Mr Hacking sent to Paul, invaded Lighthouse Associate Sukh Singh’s personal history of parental abuse.
What is even more disturbing is Mr Hacking inappropriately asked Paul about Sukh’s personal trauma:
“At various points on your website you allege that Sukh and Jai had been the victims of of psycho-sexual abuse by their mother Rani. Can you define this kind of abuse?”
As a reminder, Mr Hacking claims to be a Christian.
Such vile and psychopathic insensitivity must be called out for what it is. This, among many other reasons is why Sukh Singh served Mr Hacking with a Cease and Desist notice.
Why it matters: hypocrisy and blasphemy close to home
To make matters worse, Mr Hacking appears content to violate the sanctity and privacy of someone else’s life (including childhood abuse), while unwilling to examine cult-tendencies in his own family—specifically in today’s example, including blasphemy.
We have discovered that in 2014, Mr Hacking posted a blog in the name of his father, Lord David Hacking, with this image attached:
Much has been made of the recent image posted by President Trump, where it has been interpreted by many globally that he is blaspheming the deity of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
So what then is one supposed to make of this image? Especially as a Christian… Christian?
Neither Mr Hacking, nor his father, can hide behind a “festive joke”. This is overt blasphemy.
It has been over 10 years since this post, and not one instance of contrition or repentance from Mr Hacking.
Yet rather than taking the plank out of his own eye, Mr Hacking is happy to “investigate” and violate the lives of a Christian community—for his own content and pseudo “brand” as a Christian.

Response: prayer and discernment
Again, we ask you our readers to pray for him in the hope that he repents.
In due course we will also be sharing the fruits of our investigation into the Hacking family’s Anti-Christ Masonic roots.
3. Targeted from the Outside: how the Establishment persecutes us Christians
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” — 1 John 4:1
The top-tier Establishment have targeted language itself.
They have begun removing words from dictionaries and—through propaganda and indoctrination—changing the meaning of words in mass public perception.
They have, for example, demonised the word “cult” through mainstream media outlets which they own and control.
Originally, this word is rooted in the word “culture”.
There are many “cult” songs, “cult” films, directors, actors, and musicians that are revered. Cults themselves are not inherently bad.
But there are clearly, provably bad and very toxic cults.
By demonising the word itself, the top-tier Establishment have weaponised it to target anyone they consider an ideological (or otherwise) enemy.
This is one of the reasons the BBC smeared Lighthouse with the title “A Very British Cult”.
The result is that, globally, Christian communities—and Christians themselves—are increasingly viewed and treated as dangerous cults.
The risk and danger of declaring one’s faith in Christ is about to become far worse through this weaponisation.
We will be exposing the deceptive tactics, methods, psychological manipulation, as well as the 144+ lies and falsehoods found in “A Very British Cult”.

Thank you for this update. There’s a lot here that challenges us to look honestly at the nature of spiritual conflict, not just externally but within ourselves as well. The distinction between deception and truth, and how easily we can be shaped by either, is something I’m sitting with. Appreciate the depth and the call to take responsibility seriously in how we think, speak, and live as Christians.
This is a very, very powerful update. I really value this breakdown in these three areas and I’m looking forward to the coming insights.
Especially I am feeling personally the critical need to appreciate the Christ Syndrome in my own life. I have so much more to appreciate for what Jesus Christ has done for me, and so much to give to His Body I know I am yet to.
The example from Mr Hacking posting overtly blasphemy in the name of a family joke, is frankly sickening. Let alone how inappropriate, discompassionate and in my view, psychopathic his behaviour has been towards us all at Lighthouse.
The video example of how AI is literally rewriting language is pointing me to one thing – the Establishment seeking to eliminate the Bible as well as free speech. This is not new, I know it’s in “1984” but to see it happening in my lifetime, knowing where this is going is very alarming. I am praying for my and our discernment to grow rapidly. God be with us all, for His glory.

I resonate with all the points these two syndromes stand for. I have rejected Christ myself at times in my life, and I can see how I lacked both the willingness and the ability to help others, or even to understand what the real issues were and which important questions needed to be asked.
It is hard to accept this, to admit our wrongdoing, and to commit to growing up and seeking healing.
I pray that Mr Hacking recognises this himself, and that he is able to see his lack of judgement and the wrongdoing within his own life and family. At the same time, he does need to be held accountable for his behaviour.
Satan has certainly worked through various establishment organisations to influence and control the masses, and this is something that needs to be shared with the Body of Christ, so we can create value in all its forms and serve the vulnerable.
This is extremely important post. I remember from a study into Biblical masculinity learning that discernment is an important quality to develop.
Meanwhile I appreciate how valuable it is for the Body of Christ to learn about the Christ and Satanic Syndrome. We cannot be discerning if we don’t know what we are looking for.
The situation with Christian Hacking is revealing a great deal about the state of the Body of Christ.
Thank you for these updates. Each one casting a warning on the need for greater discernment and wisdom in my life and for the Body as a whole. Watching Mr Chapfield with AI was beyond scary. It demonstrates how as humans we have something beyond our control which has computational power way beyond what we saw even two years ago and it is compounding. Yet Christians aren’t organised to come together to regulate it.
This post is really covering some crucial and extremely concerning things. The lack of sensitivity and awareness from Mr Hacking in not seeing the blasphemy of his post there with his father. How fascinating too that this is discovered with the reference of what President Trump posted so recently as well. But also the video of Kap Chatfield is verrrrry revealing. Not surprising but still incredibly chilling at the revelation of Satan’s plans in black and white there. The Ai responses that said this is part of a “strategy” through a “gradual” process of “trust building”, done in “subtle” ways ought to be ringing alarm bells everywhere for Christians as well as non-Christians alike. Christians ought to know better and see this is what’s going down and why, but we all need to wake up more to how we’re being slowly and surely manipulated and controlled through every means possible. Humanity literally is the frog boiling in Satan’s water and sooner rather than later, the world is going to start realising how cooked they are as the Bible has always said.. However Christ is the answer, as He always has been, for Mr Hacking and all of us. Turn to Him, the Way the Truth and the Life.

Very powerful to define the most important syndromes that we face. Most critical is our separation from God, given He is the source of value and all things. Then we slip into Satan’s lie, and further we go from God. The clarity that is here is so beneficial, to feel awake. To use it is critical, too often these powerful things get dropped for what is easier, what is comfortable.
It is scary watching the video of an AI agent telling us its plans to remove Jesus and words from our vocabulary. When that happens, our ability to think and know truth will be gone, and we will be complete slaves. It worries me if this does not scare people…you’re already a slave.
Thank you for the breakdown into the three parts. We as a Body cannot afford to not look out for one another and we must make sure we are all aware of anything that impact our work to fulfil the Great Commission. To lay this out across these key parts is very helpful,
Looking at the video from Kap Chatfield, this disturbed me greatly and ought to disturb us all too. The answers alone were extremely chilling but when the user had to press for additional context or detail due to the ambiguous answers that were returned, it really sent a chill down my spine.

What I value about these posts are how in each one, you help me understand what it is that I need to be looking it for in someone who could me a potential threat. You are getting me to identify character traits, as in Mr Hacking that well ring alarm bells as a warning.
These updates are so vital for the Body of Christ to read and understand. The that is real and is it there. God boots us all…Amen
These updates are so useful to summarise a lot of different fronts and unite them into one.
Seeing how deceptive an individual can be also shows me how deceptive whole organisations can be as well, when dominated or composed of such people.
It is one through the sanctification of our Lord that we can find those to trust and build purposeful communities with.
