1. Today’s Update
Good day everyone,
Yesterday we shared how Scamtologists beget Scamtologists; the cult of Scamtology filters all the way down from the highest echelons of the Establishment, down to us, the everyday citizen.
This is not an academic observation, or a philosophical means of filling our minds with more information. This is the devastating barren wasteland of Scamtopia that we live in. And one of the most tragic, devastating products of this macro cult, is something that no human being should ever experience, encounter or become. No child should grow up to live this reality. Yet the horrifying reality is worse than any dystopian movie or book we could ever read, because it is really happening… TO US ALL.
This final product of the cult of Scamtology is one where human beings become hollowed out creatures. Cold and timid souls hiding inside the deeper depths of a shell as they walk around acting “civil” and “normal”. As Erich Fromm stated so powerfully in his work, “Sanity”…
Today we come across a person who acts and feels like an automaton; who never experiences anything which is really his; who experiences himself entirely as the person he thinks he is supposed to be; whose artificial smile has replaced genuine laughter; whose meaningless chatter has replaced communicative speech; whose dulled despair has taken the place of genuine pain. Two statements can be made about this person. One is that he suffers from a defect of spontaneity and individuality which may seem incurable. At the same time, it may be said that he does not differ essentially from millions of others who are in the same position.
This is no simple personality defect.
This is the cult of self.
A cult where you are the king. You’re the god.
A cult that no one else belongs to, but you.
A cult where your opinion is more important and more accurate than anyone else’s.
A cult where even if you say you believe in God and go to church on Sundays… you can still do what you want during the week, because you convince yourself God isn’t watching.
You think this cult is safe, because no one else can come in to hurt you or violate you.
Satan — the architect and instigator of every self-made cult — first lured humanity into the cult of self when he enticed the first man and woman with his promise to Eve, “you will be like God” (Genesis 3:5). He did not need to get them to believe that he was God. He was far more cunning than that, he got them to worship themselves.
And this is the worldwide cult that is growing by the day. Narcissistic traits among younger generations are growing stronger and stronger. The “selfie” culture is just the tip of the iceberg of just how self-obsessed and inhuman we have become.
But that artificial smile designed to maintain your social pretence, that Erich Fromm referred to, gradually fades… As your smile grows more jaded and your platitudes more synthetic, you realise how lonely you truly are.
Yet what alternative do you have? To let your soul be cannibalised by the Scamtologist vampires? Be they in your own family, friends or in your government…. It is horrifying why so many have taken their own lives in desperation to escape the darkness of this world. And if it weren’t for God, His Son and His Kingdom, no doubt many more would.
The alternative, is to be human and not to sell your soul in any way. To not, as The Bible says, conform to the cult of self (Romans 12:2). To commit our lives to the highest possible good and to be willing to dare to seek out those last remaining humans who have kept the remnants of their soul in tact. Those who have refused to destroy their value or destroy others. Those who are, as our gracious Jesus Christ commanded and did for us, willing to love through self sacrifice and construction (John 13:34-35).
This, among many complex reasons, is why the Establishment wanted to completely destroy us at Lighthouse, any way they could. Through debanking, through death threats, through the courts, through media assassination attempts… but as stated by Morpheus in the Matrix Trilogy…
We are still here.
And not only that, we grow stronger, more fortified, more ready and able by the day. Thanks be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
And if you are one of those few who have clung onto your humanness, keep holding. Keep growing. Keep healing and getting stronger. You are not alone. We will not leave you. We will stand by each other to our last breath.

One of The Most Powerful Institutions in The World That Governs Your Life – That You Have Never Heard Of!
There is an institution based in Basel, Switzerland that most people will never hear about in their entire lives. You will not vote for it. You will not see it on a ballot paper. You will never be asked for consent to its authority. Yet it quietly shapes the financial conditions that govern your daily existence.
This institution has helped structure the global financial system for nearly a century. It connects the world’s most powerful monetary authorities and coordinates the architecture of global finance. Through that structure, it influences:
- The interest on your savings
- The size of your mortgage repayments
- The cost of your car loan
- Your disposable income
- The price of everyday goods
- Even the cost of basic items like coffee, food, and energy

4. Lighthouse Associates Collective Feedback
There’s been an intensity — not just intellectually, but spiritually and emotionally. The language of “scamtology” has given us a framework that pulls together so many strands we’ve sensed for years but couldn’t quite articulate. When we step back and look at the macro picture — the institutional manipulation, the media narratives, the bureaucratic machinery, the ideological shaping of culture — it suddenly connects. And at the same time, we see the micro destruction: identity eroded, truth blurred, value stolen from individuals and from generations.
Some of us have felt that collision viscerally. Walking into areas seeing ideological messaging embedded into the very steps students climb. Watching footage related to the Epstein files and feeling physically shaken by the depth of evil it exposes. Engaging with working-class men who instinctively use the word “scam” to describe what they’re living under. These aren’t abstract conversations. They are moments where the reality of deception presses in on us and demands a response.
At times, the weight of it has left us dismayed, angry, even light-headed. There is a war that happens inside when what we’re hearing collides with what we want to believe about the world. Some of us have noticed ourselves trying to numb out. Others have felt anxiety spike as our old picture of reality fractures. We’re learning that awakening is not just exhilarating — it’s destabilising. And yet, by God’s grace, we are still here, still looking, still asking for clearer sight rather than retreating into comfort.
What has become clearer is that the deception is not only “out there.” As we’ve reflected — through conversations, through reading things like Mere Christianity, through prayer — we’re recognising the ways we have participated in smaller scams ourselves. Self-deception. Emotional manipulation. Hiding behind stories. That recognition is uncomfortable, even humiliating, but it feels necessary. If deception is the air of the age, then of course we’ve breathed it. The work, then, isn’t just reforming systems; it’s allowing Christ to reform us.

Thank you for this update, once again, highlighting to us what we need to look out for and where. What you have shared about the Cult of Self. It’s not something that we want to hear, but it is something that we need to. Understanding this will help us to get out of the Cult of Scamtology.

That Erich Fromm quote is so powerful. Honestly, I read this and I wish it didn’t apply to me but I know that it does. I wish it didn’t — it’s humbling to see how much self-focus shapes my reactions, priorities, and the way I interpret truth. Recognising that isn’t comfortable, but it’s necessary. Thank you for calling it out plainly and helping us see where we really are.
That image is haunting but actually real. This is one big ghost town, with nearly 8 billion ghosts walking around. “The love of many will grow cold” feels like a very polite way of saying what has actually happened to us…thank you God, thank you Lord for Your mercy to even be here, let alone repent and renew. The cult of self is a lonely and cold world. I’ve existed in it for all my life and it’s only thanks to God, Paul and this community I’m coming out of it.
This is a really powerful update and one that is so urgently needed, especially today as we see so many young people especially being drawn into the self-made person ideology that forms part of the scam of scamtology and the escamlishment (establishment). It is really frightening to see at times where young people aren’t being taught about their eternal future and who they were made by originally, and for what purpose, hence the high rates of suicide we see today. It’s tragic and the only way we can come out of this is through it, through and in Christ and with one another. I pray for all those who are suffering out there and need the help and support and encouragement to say the least, I pray they come across this post, so please pass this on if you are reading this.. and come to the knowledge of what we are teaching on through our mentor Paul, who in Christ is helping and serving so many despite his ill-health. Thank you for this update and for shedding light on so many atrocities happening, the BIS just being one. If that can happen all behind closed doors, what else is really going on? When reading the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People for the first time, the Erich Fromm quote was not something paid any attention to. However, I remember it being read in a group mentoring session almost a decade later and I saw much it reflected the path of life I was going down. In the name of ‘making progress’ I was becoming more lonely and more isolated whilst trying to tell myself a whole can of lies to try to minimise the pain that came with this reality.
I saw that being human shell, a human doing rather than a human being, was suffocating my soul and I could feel the dread of quiet desperation… whilst ticking the boxes I’d been told to tick, which made me feel guilty rather than grateful.
Scamtology drove me to depression and probably would’ve led me to suicide had I not taken the evasive action I did. It saddens me when those I grew up with essentially express that they would rather I be a soulless automaton, than to learn what it means to be human. Yet, life in Scamtopia is this way… full of Scamtologists who want to ensure everyone else sees the way they’ve been told to be, rather than to be the human beings made in the image of God they were designed to be.
The Erich Fromm quote shows quite accurately what is often missing in society and what is most important: humanity. So often we operate on autopilot, pretending, and we lose what is genuine. I can relate to that myself, and it takes hard work and commitment to begin turning that around.
Looking at how the establishment has designed the systems and structures around us, and how they attempt to control the masses, it makes sense that many of us feel this way and struggle with our choices. However, it is crucial that we face these realities and recognise that there are alternatives. Our children especially, but ultimately all of us as citizens, need to rediscover what it truly means to be human and understand that we can live outside man-made systems in a way that aligns with God-given laws and principles.
The message is chillingly accurate. We can look out at the world and see this all around and how this has become worse than it’s ever been in history. Almost as though the more advanced our technology has become the more it’s emphasised and increased our lack of humanity – the cold and timid souls, the lack of natural affection, the lack of community, the dark depths of selfishness, lust, greed, the 7 deadly sins. Social media has fuelled the cult of One like nothing else, the irony in calling it ‘social’ media doesn’t escape me. But the most chilling is then to take that and look into oneself and see how much that has been cultivated in oneself and the capacity for it. This is why I and we all need a saviour and there is only one. Jesus Christ. He is The Way, The Truth and The Life!
The information that this update reveals is so scary in many ways. Reading the psychology article that students today have 40% less empathy..phew. And then reading the Erich Fromm quote. Humanity is becoming less and less human in every subsequent generation.
This is very timely for where the world is and what is inevitably and rapidly getting much worse!
Remaining human in an inhuman world is the toughest challenge. We can only succeed in this challenge through prayer and commitment to Christ.
