A Statement by Paul S. Waugh – Why Lighthouse Global is a Provably Observable Threat to The Top-Tier Establishment and Its Totalitarian Agenda and Why They Have Attacked Us in Order to Destroy. Click the + to expand and read the full explanation.
I have written this statement as a contextual precursor to all articles written in relation to the Establishment, BBC, agencies and mainstream media attacks on us.
It is critical that you understand the real underlying reason we were — and are — continually and increasingly attacked in order for us to be destroyed by their hand.
Here is a starting question…
Why would they spend five very long years (to date) and tens of millions of pounds attempting to destroy us?
SPOILER ALERT — I will tell you this, it’s not because we are this micro “cult” founded and run by a petty liar, mind-controller (like them) and non-criminal (like me).
Note: I would like to be clear that our main restraining force to getting the truth out to date is, has been and will be the extent, or lack of global public reach; something the BBC, mainstream media and agencies are working hard on behind the scenes to deny us (such reach) at all costs.
They cannot afford for us to expose and reveal them for who they really are, for what they have done and are doing.
They will never be trusted by the public ever again once they are fully exposed, in line with their diabolical modus operandi.
This is now about to change dramatically for the Glory of God and His Truth…
So why did the Establishment spend millions on attacking Lighthouse Global?
Well it certainly wasn’t because they were "exposing" this tiny micro entity (or "cult") called Lighthouse for all the laboriously false reasons they gave in their provably fake documentary.
A documentary with literally hundreds of falsehoods, lies and deceptions in it, which we will reveal comprehensively.
Here is the real reason why the Establishment spent so much time, effort and money on us...
They spent millions of pounds attempting to destroy the credibility of the people (us at Lighthouse) in order to obliterate the most ground-breaking human potential research ever.
This is totally in line with our plans to influence the building of millions of purpose-built, solution-orientated, problem-solving communities worldwide.
Secularly speaking, most of these purpose-built communities would not be formed under or initiated by Lighthouse (as this huge dark "sinister cult" - cue sinister BBC music...) but independently started and run.
Why?
So that people would not be as reliant on the state and the Establishment and so they could be in better control of our common problems.
Governments would be smaller and taxation a fraction of what it is now.
Here is the problem to the Establishment, especially those at the top tier... They do not want to relinquish control.
They want more.
How much more? Totalitarian levels of more.
They therefore desperately need to stop us.
Note: Additionally, many of these purpose-built communities would be started by us Christians, in line with our commission in Christ, and our obstacles to achieving the Kingdom's said aims and objectives etc.
When the Establishment realised this... they REALLY pulled out their big war chest and their collective big guns!
So what did they do?
They spent millions of pounds to prevent our research, findings and evidence being revealed publicly.
They simply could not afford to be exposed.
They spent millions of pounds and years of effort using huge multi-agency teams to try and destroy us.
They spent millions of pounds and put hundreds of people to work at huge risk to their reputation, credibility and existence.
Why?
As said, to do their absolute damnedest to destroy this Christian initiative of global purpose-directed community teachers and builders.
No… they were not using all these resources over the last five years to attempt to destroy a little micro “cult”. A supposed cult that was taking over a relative handful of people's lives (20 or so at the time)... apparently.
They were out to destroy our work because its potential to empower people’s lives threatened their very existence as a totalitarian-intentioned Establishment.
It threatened their power, position, their totalitarian-control agenda and their stranglehold on all resources and wealth.
Most of the Associates at Lighthouse have had little idea of the extent, breadth and depth of our research program. It had to be kept largely, almost extensively under the radar.
The Last Days: A Critical To-Do List

There will soon be a comprehensive write-up (ongoing) on this series starting in the next few weeks.
No matter how much they endeavour to destroy myself, Paul S. Waugh, with their lies — or even the truth (which would be an extreme change) — it does not and will not change the truth about the systemic strategies they use to drastically limit the masses, A.K.A. the non-elites.
Destroying us by smearing or otherwise will not change who they are and what they are doing.
It will not change the truth.
We will vindicate the truth by eliminating the false narrative between us (the people and the truth) that is being orchestrated by a corrupt media and its establishment.
We will soon be launching our new desperately needed organisation, Vindicate International, for this very purpose. We will correct the record one way or the other.
We will lobby and do the necessary advocacy work in relation to how correction of the record is implemented and most notably stymied at an implementation level by various regulatory organisations, like Ofcom and IPSO.
So attempting to destroy us at Lighthouse Global will not change the truth... or who hears it.
In fact, all this time, money and effort spent intending to destroy our work and our lives has just served to make their problem - and the consequences for their heinous actions against us - worse at an exponential level!
We are now seeing that they are slowly starting to realise this.... finally.
They still have a way to go, but they are getting there.
To attempt to ruin myself, Lighthouse Global and its Associates - or not - is to ruin themselves. They have done and intend to do terrible things to the global population.
The Establishment simply, by God’s own laws and principles, cannot TALK themselves out of what they have collectively ACTED themselves into!
In The Final Analysis...
When an Establishment organisation like the BBC needs to destroy someone or a group that are doing the right thing that is genuinely in the public interest (especially for the Glory of God), but against their overlord and elites’ ruinous agenda, they need to find a fabricated and contrived reason in the so-called public interest to do so.
They did this with their fake documentary “A Very British Cult”.
THEN THEY PROVABLY GOT ESTABLISHMENT AGENCIES AND CO-CONSPIRATORS TO GRANT IT FALSE CREDIBILITY.
This ultimately all comes imminently with two ruinous things for them:
- A terrible price in the medium and long term across the board.
- A very short timeline from here.

How Can We Start Each Day With More of God’s Love?

What’s the first thing you think of each morning? The remnants of a dream? A need to dash to the bathroom? Checking your phone for the latest news and any messages? The problems at home or at work you need to solve, but have been avoiding?
When you woke up this morning, how much did you appreciate the immense and incredible love that God has for you? Were you even aware of the love He showed you to sustain and protect you through the night? Did you thank Him for it?
In our update on 23rd July 2026, we shared the immense value of focusing on God first thing in the morning, along with this heartfelt prayer from Paul S. Waugh on putting God first.
To take this further, with more guidance on praising and revealing God’s glory, John MacArthur highlights three things we can do at any time throughout each day:
- Recite God’s attributes: For example, His holiness, being eternal and a covenant-keeping God (Habakkuk 1).
- Reciting God’s works: For example, His creation of the Universe and humanity (Genesis 1-2).
- Thanking Him for His character and His works.
So to open ourselves up to receiving more of God’s Love, we have an opportunity at the start of each day with praise of Him; thanking Him for His Love.
We challenge you to start this way each day before anything else and notice how much this helps you to appreciate God’s Love at the start and throughout the day.
2. Targeted from Within: The Greatest Threats to the Body of Christ from Inside
The £25k Compassionate Refund Offer Richard Thomas & The Daily Mail Did Not Tell You About
“The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.” — Proverbs 18:17
In its April 2022 hit piece about Lighthouse Global (then Lighthouse International Group), the Daily Mail falsely portrayed Richard Thomas as a vulnerable man who requested the return of his £25,000 investment in his own personal growth that was met with refusal, pressure and threats.
However, the evidence, facts and documented chronology (all of which the Daily Mail have) reveal the reality that completely refutes these smears.
This is all backed up by actual text messages exchanged with Richard Thomas at the time. These messages present the truth that, in his own words, decimates Richard Thomas’s false and sensationalised he-said/she-said tabloid story, including how his wife Antonia Brider-Thomas completely sabotaged the unwarranted compassionate refund offered to him.
3. Targeted from the Outside: How The Establishment Persecutes us Christians
The First Unique God-Given Human Endowment That The Establishment Doesn’t Want You To Develop

“What is a human being?”
This is the question we shared yesterday that has stumped thousands through our years of research at Lighthouse Global.
The Establishment’s attacks on Lighthouse have shown that the Establishment doesn’t want you to know the answer and that it will seek to smear and destroy anyone who tries to educate and empower citizens across the globe. Paul S. Waugh’s statement above (announced here) explains how the Establishment will weaponise the mainstream media to cancel and suppress all who oppose its agenda.
So let’s start today with the first unique human endowment… self-awareness.
Based on the industrialised education system, the Establishment clearly does not want self-aware human beings… else self-awareness would be the number one priority from day one at school.
Self-awareness is an incredible gift from God that’s also recognised secularly. In her book, Insight: How to succeed by seeing yourself clearly, Dr Tasha Eurich describes self-awareness as the “meta-skill of the twenty-first century”. She explains further:
“There is strong scientific evidence that people who know themselves and how others see them are happier. They make smarter decisions. They have better personal and professional relationships. They raise more mature children. They’re smarter, superior students who choose better careers. They’re more creative, more confident, and better communicators. They’re less aggressive and less likely to lie, cheat, and steal. They’re better performers at work who get more promotions. They’re more effective leaders with more enthusiastic employees. They even lead more profitable companies.”
Despite the proven social and economic benefits, the Establishment really does not want us to know who and what we are, whether theochristologically or secularly. The diabolical attacks on the people, work and research at Lighthouse are testimony to this… why else invest tens of millions of public money into trying to destroy a pre-startup research community?!?
The Establishment evidently does not want us to know that we are fallen from grace sinners who are destined for hell. Nor does it want us to know that Christ’s Atonement offers an offer of salvation through repentance, love and faith.
We see this through how Christianity is routinely mocked and undermined in the mainstream media. This is because Christians are a threat to the Establishment’s pursuit of totalitarian control, wealth and power.
The Establishment wants easily controlled and deceived Establishment dupes for an industrial machine rather than Christ-following, self-aware human beings.
Ask yourself the question… of all the thousands of hours in the school classroom, how many hours were invested in helping you to understand yourself at an intimate and personal level, starting with your self-awareness?
Is it any wonder that anyone can rarely answer the question “what is a human being?”
Our lack of education about ourselves, in line with increasing self-awareness, reveals the satanic attempt to destroy our self-awareness. Despite the scientific evidence, increasing self-awareness is not encouraged, proved by its omission from school and university curricula.
Meanwhile, at Lighthouse we’re teaching what the school system ought to have taught us when it comes to self-awareness. This is in line with becoming empowered citizens capable of establishing purpose-built communities set up to solve meaningful problems and generate value in all its forms.
A very conservative figure is that over the last 10 years of our daily Lighthouse research community calls, there has been a specific focus on awareness and self-awareness in at least 210 of them! Here are a few insights as to how our work developed over the last 10 years with direct quotes from Paul S. Waugh.
1) 8th February 2017 — Paul S. Waugh on the four human endowments:
“Those four human endowments make us human… Animals do not possess them which is why they are human endowments.”
2) 1st March 2018 — Paul S. Waugh on self-awareness as the main human endowment:
“The four human endowments, the main one of them all is Self Awareness, Awareness of Self.”
3) 31st December 2019 — Paul S. Waugh on self-awareness as the first human endowment:
“The first human endowment because without that there is nothing else — self-awareness, if there’s no self, there’s no growth and development.”
4) 31st December 2019 — Paul S. Waugh on self-awareness, the I Am and God:
“Self-awareness is the link between the I Am and the all that is… The continuum of that link is mutual awareness. The underlying foundation of that is consciousness.”
5) 20th June 2020 — Paul S. Waugh on why people resist growth:
“Why would anybody not want to grow? Why would anybody not want more self-awareness? Why would anybody not want a more finely tuned conscience?”
6) 25th March 2023 — Paul S. Waugh on building self-awareness and awareness first:
“You’ve got to start by building your own self awareness and your own awareness.”
7) 22nd June 2026 — Paul S. Waugh on the indispensability of self-awareness:
“What is indispensable, like at the level of breathing and eating and drinking as a human? What is indispensable to us being human, and it’s self‑awareness. It’s the level and the type of self‑awareness, not just self‑awareness, the type that’s made in God’s image.”
A clear thread runs through the period: awareness begins as a human endowment, deepens into self-awareness, expands into mutual awareness, and is increasingly framed as inseparable from God-awareness and Christ-centred growth.
A question for us all.. during your whole life, how many times did your parents, friends, family, teachers, fellow students, lecturers, bosses, colleagues, work trainers or anyone else in your life guide and support you to become more self-aware? At best, it would be a fleeting comment. This is not by accident, and why Lighthouse Global’s work is such a threat to the establishment.
We’re not a threat because we are falsely alleged to “take over people’s lives”, but because we help individuals to take control of their own lives. Here’s what Paul S. Waugh said on a recent call with Lighthouse Associates:
“I’m not interested in taking over anybody’s life. My interest and what I’ve always said in hundreds and thousands of transcripts is that I want you to take over your life and grow up!”
This is in complete contrast to the Establishment and the BBC, who want you to have no self-awareness and hence remain an old infant; a mental, emotional and spiritual child in an adult body.
Tomorrow we’ll continue learning what it takes to increase our ability to love, discover more about what the Daily Mail failed to report on Richard Thomas, along with what else the Establishment is doing to try to decimate our God-given human potential.

OK, something doesn’t add up at all here!! How can Richard Thomas and his ilk claim that Lighthouse is defrauding him and them?! This is TINY fragment of evidence here in today’s update, showing just a smidgen of the reality of what Paul S. Waugh has been teaching for years. And Mr Thomas, Jeffrey Leigh-Jones et al. want to claim that they’re getting scammed?! This is literally foundational education we ought to have received as children – as indicated in the first section of today’s update. No, it’s Mr Thomas, Mr Leigh-Jones and the rest, along with the BBC who have scammed the British and global public. There is the real Very British Cult.
Thank you for another incredible update. I appreciate the guidance to be able to receive God’s love more and your education on self-awareness. It is quite sad in a world where we have more access to information than ever before that we are less self-aware. I can see a lot of that information though is related to things outside of ourselves.
Yet another substantial and significant update. It’s very telling how there’s a feature on the human endowment whilst we have the case study of Richard Thomas revealing someone with a sheer lack of self-awareness!
It’s very telling how the significant event of Richard Thomas being offered a £25k compassionate refund for his investment into his Lighthouse Associate Elect Programme is omitted by the Daily Mail. It would ruin Tom Kelly’s sensationalised story.
It’s now over 4 years since this article was published and it hasn’t aged well at all!
Indeed, hatred makes you stupid…
Apart from the other powerful points in this update, seeing the quotes on Self Awareness going back years is particularly revealing for anyone who may be unsure over what Paul has consistently taught. Granted these are just small quotes but they do reveal a fact that I too can attest to: that Paul Waugh has always had a heart for seeing people grow through self awareness and in that self awareness a humble repentant heart towards God and those who are in need. The evidence for this which the BBC have in their possession through stolen materials attests overwhelmingly to this fact
This update exposes what has been hidden for years. On the one hand, there is teaching over many years about self awareness, receiving God’s love and personal responsibility. On the other, we see Richard Thomas’ lack of self awareness and the willingness to distort reality.
What also stands out is the £25,000 compassionate refund offer. If Lighthouse were the fraudulent organisation portrayed by the BBC and the Daily Mail, why would such an offer ever have been made?
Thank you for continuing to provide the original evidence. This shows again how the establishment through their mouthpiece the BBC tries to change the narratives. The truth really does withstand scrutiny.
Thank you for the 3 points from John MacArthur, God rest his soul. I found those very helpful and will endeavour to put them into practice. being open to receive God’s love is so fundamental and I want to increase and improve in that area greatly. The article on Mr Thomas was especially enlightening and shows so well just how much smears rely on what they don’t divulge, what they hide and prevent others from finding out as what they do say. This is diabolical and I hope this is brought to wide public attention soon. As I am sure it will be, by God’s grace. The fact we aren’t taught about Self Awareness shows just how much the Establishment know what we are being educated in is not to help us, but to keep us limited and controllable. Again, it’s what they aren’t teaching and telling us that does the most harm!

The encouragement to begin each day by consciously receiving God’s love was a timely reminder, and I can already see how much that changes my perspective and priorities. The evidence surrounding the £25,000 refund offer also reinforces how important it is to look beyond headlines and consider the full record before accepting public narratives. Finally, the teaching on self awareness was particularly powerful. It really highlights how foundational it is to genuine growth, responsibility and becoming the person God created us to be. Thank you for this update. I remember first learning what self-awareness was in relation to myself when I was in my early 20s at Lighthouse. It was a revelation to me and incredibly empowering. It’s no wonder the establishment wants to limit that within human beings. I’m looking forward to learning more about this, and I really appreciate Paul’s work on it over the years.
Thank you so much for this update; it is what I need to hear. Starting with taking control of our own lives, starting with how we start the day. Thanking God for His love and everything that He does and has done for us all. He gave us life; He gave us some great birth gifts, and we need to learn how to use them, because we have not been taught this in school. What you are helping me and all of us understand is how important it is for us to thank God, because He is the one who breathed life into us and created us in His image.
Clearly, Mr Thomas does not start his day in this way. From what you have shared, there is no love for God, because if there was, he would not be trying to destroy someone like Paul, who loved him and helped him during some tough times. Also, going against people he called brothers and sisters and wanting to destroy them as well…
I value you sharing about self-awareness, because this is something that I lack and have been working on for a while. It is getting better, but only by God’s grace.

There is a famous adage that says: “Never let the truth interfere with a good story.” The Daily Mail, the BBC and every person who contributed to producing A Very British Cult, are poster children for this adage. Christ teaches us to be compassionate and as we have seen, even the compassion shown to Richard Thomas, was disrespected. Even after all that was given to Richard Thomas by Paul S Waugh, he still gave more and of course this would be left out of the Daily Mail article because their story was not designed to tell the truth about Paul, it was written to tell their story they wanted the public to hear and believe. Shame on them!
Self-Awareness is the crucial beginning of being a human being and it is because of a lack of it, that I believe Richard Thomas let himself be led astray by his wife.
Antonia Brider-Thomas lacked self-awareness in help her husband to build a better life for them both and just focused on her own dominion over the family.
The deeper I consider these points, the more I see how closely they are connected, because without awareness of God, ourselves and the truth, we are far more vulnerable to being led by fear, pressure and false narratives. The long standing evidence of the teaching on self awareness is especially compelling, and I think this is an incredibly important message for Christians to grasp and put into practice.
