3rd October 2026 – Lighthouse Weekly Overview – Truth, Accountability and the Cost of Silence

Lighthouse Daily – 3rd October 2026…

Good evening, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today’s update is a 3-minute read.

“For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.” — Luke 8:17 (NIV)

This week’s work has pressed one issue from several directions: those who claim authority to investigate, label and judge others must be willing to expose their own claims, methods and consequences to the same searching standard.

The complete open letter to Catrin Nye, the challenge to BBC Verify, the questions surrounding Ed Campbell and the BBC’s institutional record, as well as the continuing commentaries all return to the same demand. The challenge is to show the evidence in full, provide a meaningful right of reply, correct the false public record and pursue accountability without abandoning the possibility of repentance and reconciliation.

The week has also sharpened and clarified the moral test. Persistence is not proof of guilt, and a label such as “cult” cannot become an interpretive prison in which every fact is made to confirm a predetermined conclusion. At the same time, we at Lighthouse Global must remain open to the same standards of evidence, correction and repentance that we are asking of the BBC. Truth is not served by protecting our own side; it is served by bringing every aspect into the light.

Three questions for the week

  1. Will the BBC give the public a meaningful opportunity to judge Paul S. Waugh’s open letter to Catrin Nye and Lighthouse Global’s case for themselves?
  2. If BBC Verify exists to test falsehood, will it apply that test to the BBC’s own reporting — with the same stated rigour, independence and willingness to correct?
  3. When does a powerful institution stop defending its reputation and begin pursuing truth, repentance, repair and reconciliation — even when doing so exposes its own failures?

God bless,

We Challenge Ed Campbell and The BBC To Broadcast The Results of Our 5-Year Investigation Uncovering The BBC Savile Syndrome

The BBC has given us at Lighthouse Global a profound insight into who they are, how they operate and whom they employ. Through around half a decade of investigation and direct interaction, we have seen the BBC’s dirty-tricks modus operandi: their indoctrination, deceit, propaganda, dishonesty, gross deception and darkness — the whole BBC Savile Syndrome. What they have revealed has shocked us to our very core.

BBC Director-General Matt Brittin claims that more than 500 million people globally trust the BBC. That is plainly not true. Hardly anyone in the United Kingdom trusts the BBC anymore. But among those who still do, how many have been allowed to see what we have seen? How many have examined the evidence and proof we possess about the BBC’s conduct? None.

Ed Campbell and the BBC… we challenge you to allow us to use your reach to give us a voice.

Give us five hours to serialise the evidence and place it before the same audience that watched and listened to A Very British Cult. Allow us to showcase your deception, your evil, who you are, the character of those responsible and the people you employ. Then let us see how much trust remains when your audience has heard the evidence withheld from them before they were invited to judge and condemn us.

Why would the BBC expose itself to us as it has?

It has because it knows we do not possess its reach — and it has no intention of giving us access to it. Instead, it offered a little “right of reply” at the end, when the noose was already around our necks: a few last words to an audience that had been led towards the BBC’s predetermined verdict. That was not a meaningful reply. It was part of the media machinery weaponised against us.

The bottom line is that the BBC has revealed its character — and its lack of character — along with its dark, sinister soul and evil, malevolent underbelly. It never believed for one moment that this little group would survive what it unleashed. The BBC expected Lighthouse Global to be completely and utterly destroyed within months of its hit piece at most. Even if we endured, it calculated that we would remain unable to bring the truth before a mass audience. That is precisely why it insisted it would never give us the platform to answer it properly.

The BBC cannot afford to let the wider public see what its actions have enabled us to uncover. Our investigation and interaction with its people have shown them up. The only thing standing between the BBC and full public exposure — including a reckoning that could lead to its licence fee being withdrawn altogether — is an exposé placing this evidence before the world.

That exposé is coming, and it will happen globally. The BBC intended to destroy Lighthouse Global and silence our voice. Instead, it unwittingly put us on the map.

Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple Establishment attacks on him, these updates are generated by the team, drawing from Paul’s recent and earlier words and what we are working with here at Lighthouse. We ask you to keep him in your prayers as he builds strength and renews in our Lord.

What has been shared this week is profound. The death you have gone to so that the public can be made aware of what is happening at the BBC and allowing them to make up their own minds.

The open letter to Nye is a must read, not just once, but a few times, as are the series you have written Paul.

Thank you so much…

I really value the integrity of the stand here. Holding the BBC accountable to the very same standards I and we are accountable to; the truth in Christ, to repentance, to be dedicated to taking responsibility for our wrongs. I and we are all accountable ultimately to God and will give an account of our lives to Him.

Another week of incredible articles and commentaries. We are holding the line here against serious pressure and a lot of really powerful institutions, but yet thriving in Christ. What a testament to His glory!

The key difference here is that Lighthouse is holding itself to the same standards it’s demanding. Something the BBC won’t and had continually refused to do because they can’t afford to allow the light of public scrutiny to shine on them.

The acid test of whether the BBC Verify service verifies itself is an acid test of acid tests. As human being we all know if we are honest that it’s so much easier to look outward to the wrongs of others. It really helps me appreciate why Jesus asks the question of whether we look at the log in our own eye rather than the speck in our brothers.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
That is the maxim and biblical lesson that The BBC ought to be living by and in so doing judging themselves as much as, or more then, they judge others.

Only by looking inwards, taking responsibility for mistakes and making true changes, can any respect and progress be made.

It has been a powerful week with a lot of realisations and holding the BBC further accountable to their lies and wrongdoings. Thank you very much for all the work and effort and for these articles. God bless.

Thank you for this update. It’s been an intense week, and the questions posed here are very telling of how the BBC do not, as shared recently, look inside at themselves before doing so with others.

God bless us all. Thank you.

Really important questions to be asked on the back of the last week. It’s very revealing how the likes of Catrin Nye and the BBC will do just enough to smear us publicly to millions abusing their reach, but not enough to present the truth and reality of who we are… what we stand for, and what we stand against! Those realities completely decimate the BBC’s propaganda pantomime about us, AKA A Very British Cult.
