As we reported last week, the “very amateur” journalist Christian Hacking has recently shut down his Substack page, which he had previously used as his main platform for reporting on issues, claiming to be a “servant of Christ”.
As we reported, aside from closing down his page, there was no apology given and no overt signs of repentance on his part.
So as promised, today we are sharing the first instalment by way of an open letter to Mr Hacking, where we believe he ought to repent —starting with bearing the name of Christ.

Thank you for the work here. I’ve just read the letter and really value the work going into this opportunity. I hope and pray that Christian Hacking does appreciate what is being done for him and also for his family. That’s ultimately between him and God, and what’s being done here to love him through firm, responsible accountability is a big example to how to handle such heinous wrongdoings by someone who claims to be a Christian brother.
Thank you for this update. It was a very moving and powerful appeal to Christian’s conscience, and I pray that he, along with all of us, continues to bow the knee to our Saviour and repent of our wrongs.

I appreciate the work that’s been done to hold Christian Hacking accountable. As is being shown, there’s more at stake than a post being put up or removed. Whilst it is a step in the right direction, we see a video remains on TikTok and there’s been no public or private acknowledgement of wrongdoing. This is significant because Christian Hacking claims to be a Christian which means that he’s called to take responsibility and repent for actions like betraying the trust of Christian brothers and sisters. Living as a Christian is not an easy endeavour, so for the sake of Christian, his family and his business, I pray that he will be obedient to Christ and Christ’s commandments.
It’s deeply saddening that there has been no apology or effort to make things right and repent, or to at least come to the table to discuss these things from Mr Hacking. I have read the letter and pray for God to open his eyes to what he’s clearly not seeing or feeling.
I really appreciated reading this open letter to Christian Hacking. It is sad that he has not yet repented of his wrongdoing, and I pray that he comes to recognise where he has gone wrong. My hope is that this will help draw him closer to Christ and that he will have the humility to receive the help and guidance he needs. The letter clearly sets out the steps he needs to take to live in a more Christ-centred way and shows where he has acted contrary to God-given laws and principles.
This whole situation with Mr Hacking remains very straight forward to solve and make right. Coming to the table and correcting the record, and making things right would be the first steps. I pray that the Lord helps us all to come to a righteous solution that would most bring Him glory
Thank you for this update. I really hope that Mr Hacking listen’s to his conscience and reflects on his behaviour and the cause of it. Through repentance he can make his wrong’s right and ultimately come closer to God.
It’s revealing to hear there is no apology and, more concerningly, a direct ignoring of the situation. There’s something really unhealthy about that, where it has been central to your endeavour and then to act as if it does not exist. Hmmm… there seems to be massive denial happening with him. I hope this letter has the desired impact, for his sake and in his walk with Christ.
This is a powerful letter and a very important example of how we can support one another as the Body of Christ IF you choose to take that support. Problems, solutions and opportunities are all laid out here and only Christian Hacking can make the choice as to what he does next.
