1. Today’s Update

I. Health and Stewardship of Energy

Good day everybody, 

First of all, a belated happy New Year to you all!

I’m trying to recover as I’ve had a bit of a dip in my health, so I have to manage it carefully.

There have been quite a few articles published in my name recently, so I want to explain how that’s possible given my current state of poor health.

All of the material being shared now comes from my talks, meetings, mentoring, coaching sessions, leadership programmes, and public feedback over the last 21 years. We have tens of thousands of hours of recordings that have been transcribed, and the team is now using that body of work to develop these articles. Much of this research was always discussed with the understanding that we would act on it “when the time comes.”

That time is now.

Although I’m not able to share much with you directly at present, our team is able to work with transcripts from 5, 10, 15, and even 20 years ago to bring these insights to you today.

What the team is doing is taking what I’ve said over the past two decades and shaping it into articles that are clearer and easier to read. Spoken language doesn’t always translate well directly onto the page, so they:

• Create structure and logical flow
• Remove repetition from spoken transcripts
• Add headings, bullet points, and visuals where helpful
• Present the material in a way that supports learning and reflection

This work is not based on research from just a handful of associates at Lighthouse. It draws on thousands upon thousands of insights — small but powerful observations, patterns, problems, solutions, opportunities, and sources of value — gathered from a very large and diverse group of people around the world over more than two decades.

So when you see something published under my name and read comments like “it wasn’t written by him” or “he had very little involvement,” what that actually means is this:

I had little involvement in the final compilation of the article.

The underlying content, thinking, and research came from me.

In practice:

• Sometimes I proofread the articles
• Sometimes my health doesn’t allow me to

Most of the time, I do read, review, and approve what goes out under my name — especially if the team is unsure about any aspect.

I put my name to this work because the information originates from me. It comes from years of meetings, mentoring, coaching, leadership programmes, talks, and the feedback I’ve absorbed and integrated into our research over time.

I’m sharing this so you can understand how we’re able to produce both the quality and quantity of work you’re seeing, even while I remain unwell. It may sound like a contradiction at first — but it isn’t.

II. Education That Makes Us “Stupid” and the Missing Human Being

I want to talk about education. Not just schooling, but the whole apparatus that has shaped us.

Bertrand Russell, an atheist philosopher and mathematician, said:

People are born ignorant. Education makes them stupid.

Education is supposed to take our intelligence and help us use it intelligently. Instead, the way it is structured and enforced often means this: we go in intelligent, we come out misusing that intelligence.

The missing piece is education of the human being.

It is the human being who breathes into:

• the mathematician,
• the scientist,
• the business school,
• and, IN and WITH CHRIST, the gospel itself.

If the human being is not educated as a human being – in conscience, self‑awareness, imagination, independent will, character, competence, cause and effect – then we can be very clever and very destructive, very clever and very limited.

From 40 years of work, 21 of them in a dedicated research programme at Lighthouse, we have seen:

• The average person has the intellect to generate at least a million pounds’ worth of value a year in some form.
• But most people are nowhere near that, because they have been limited, not only by their own malignant selfishness and laziness, but by an establishment that has every interest in them staying small, compliant, and busy.

Business schools do not generally produce value creators on that scale relative to their promise. You can look at thousands going through elite schools and not find hundreds of genuine million‑pound‑a‑year value creators. That should tell us something is missing.

The problem is not “God of the gaps.” The problem is people of the gaps:

• Christians of the gaps.
• Atheists of the gaps.
• Citizens of the gaps.

Gaps in their self‑knowledge. Gaps in their character. Gaps in their use of intelligence. Gaps in their value creation, their problem‑solving, their relationships.

III. The Establishment, Media, and the Need for Bridges of Truth

The Kingdom of Darkness (KOD) operates very efficiently through its institutions – political, media, educational, legal. Often, they do evil in the name of good.

They will:

• Break people down “in the public interest”.
• Weaponise courts and media coverage while claiming neutrality.
• Present themselves as protectors while they destroy those who challenge them.

If they can get away with it once, they will repeat it. That is why we have to confront it.

They do bad things, wicked things, evil things, in the name of good… and when they can’t do that anymore, they have to change their approach.

So we must:

• Take control of the record.
• Bring facts and evidence to the public and to the body of Christ.
• Refuse to let them operate unchallenged in the dark, doing “bad in the name of good.”

People cannot make a real choice between God and the Kingdom of Darkness if they are kept in lies. Justice in eternity is certain, but we are called to bring truth into the open now so people can act, repent, and build bridges.

If you are going to give the public, and you’re going to give the Christian body, a perception that you’re good when you’re actually being bad, that needs to come out, that needs to be explained. People have a choice then. They don’t have a choice unless they have the truth, the facts and evidence in front of them.

IV. CBC – Christian Broadcasting Corporation

At the moment, the enemy’s platforms are enormous. The KOD has:

• National broadcasters,
• Schools and universities,
• Vast online infrastructures,

often funded substantially by Christians themselves. Christians pay licence fees to organisations that demonise them and persecute the work of Christ.

We do not yet have a serious, global Christian Broadcasting Corporation of equivalent intent and seriousness. We need one.

We don’t have a BBC equivalent. We need that. We need a CBC, a Christian Broadcasting Corporation.

This is part of the year of the bridge:

• Reducing “six degrees of separation” in the body of Christ down to one.
• Ultimately aiming for zero in Christ – rapid, loving, disciplined mutual response in the face of spiritual, human, material, and financial crises.

2. Closing Prayer – God of the Bridges

This new year stands before us as a crossing. The bridges are down, and we are going to cross them — not in our own strength, but with Your will and Your blessing. Christ told us that He would give us the truth, and that the truth would set us free. And He also said that the world would know who we are by the love we have for one another.

So, Father…

Thank You so much for this. Thank You for the small measure of energy You have given me today — the energy to do this without damaging what You are healing. It is not just about having energy; it is about wisdom, restraint, and not pushing beyond what You have given. If I force myself when I am unwell, I will pay for it later, and I do not want to edge toward the limits of this coming year.

So Father, thank You for Your grace, and thank You that we are blessed and carried by You into this new season.

You are a God of bridges, not a god of the gap. You bridge what we cannot reach. You bridge what we do not yet know. You bridge what we do not yet understand — according to Your eternal and infinite wisdom. This is what You do.

You are a God of growth. A God of love. A God of bridges woven into all of it. You are a bridge over troubled water. You are a bridge out of the unintelligent use of the incredible intelligence You have given us — intelligence that is God-given, given by You, Father.

We pray for the vulnerable.
We pray for our enemies — and for those who are vulnerable among them.
We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We pray for this work, and for the work of others.
We pray for their children, and for all who are vulnerable.

Father, with bowed head and bended knee, we repent.
We ask all of this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

4. Today’s Daily Two-Tier Injustice Example

British Man Arrested In The UK For Holiday Photo Holding Legal Firearm!

With ever increasing frequency, at Lighthouse we find situations that at best are simply bizarre and at worst, show incredible levels of incompetence and even increasing corruption. In today’s situation, British citizen Jon Richelieu-Booth, 50 years of age (click on this link to read the article), was arrested by police in August 2025 England. Why? Because he posted a photo of himself on social media holding a firearm, while he was on a holiday…. in Florida, USA where his actions were perfectly legal! 

He was reported initially to the police by an unknown source with a personal problem against him. We can fully understand the police needing to be diligent and check what the reality of the situation actually was. After all, if something untowards happened and the police did not investigate, there could have been devastating consequences for which they would be severely criticised. We do understand and empathise with the predicament the police find themselves in at times.

But what is preposterous is that after doing an initial interview with Mr Richelieu-Booth, the police then went back to arrest him, before dropping the charges 13 weeks later. While these situations are always more complex than the initial headlines suggest, further investigation into this situation shows that Mr Richelieu-Booth was a victim of an anonymous complaint and the police were being used as part of “lawfare” against him because the perpetrator knows that “the punishment is the process.”

This is how easy it is ladies and gentlemen… one anonymous call to a government agency or the police, and you can find yourself in deep water. All it takes is someone to claim that they are scared, worried or feel alarmed and distressed! The establishment has molly coddled people to be weak and fearful, and those same people then abuse the system to have fellow citizens arrested, criminalised or penalised in some way. This is something that we at Lighthouse fully understand, having had authorities such as the Insolvency Service using “tricknicalities” (technicalities used to trick and deceive) against us because of lies from anonymous sources with a vendetta. And if you are going to be a bridge builder in 2026, be prepared for the bridge killers to come at you…

5. Lighthouse Associates Consensus Feedback

The following feedback was shared with me by our associates at Lighthouse in response to yesterday’s daily update and the article on my website Daniel’s Statue, the Establishment, and the Coming Kingdom by Paul S. Waugh.

We are collectively struck by the depth, clarity, and timeliness of the recent article and daily update, particularly the exposition of Daniel’s statue. We feel that it has helped many of us see Scripture with fresh eyes, not as distant prophecy but as a living lens through which the present moment becomes intelligible. For some of us, this has been intellectually clarifying; for others, it has been deeply personal, revealing places of fear, naivety, fatigue, conviction, or renewed faith. We commonly see and recognise that something real has been named, and once named, it cannot be unseen.

We recognise, perhaps more honestly than before, how fragile the systems that dominate the world actually are, even though they appear powerful, influential and aggressive. The image of iron mixed with clay resonates strongly: these structures can still “kick,” still harm, still intimidate, yet they are internally unstable, fragile and already breaking apart. Holding this tension of the two states has been confronting for many of us. We see clearly now that treating these systems as harmless leaves us vulnerable, while treating them as ultimate, leads to living in fear, a state of paralysis which impacts our God-given potential. Biblical discernment, as we are learning together, requires us to hold both truths at once without despairing and remaining naivë.

Many of us are deeply impacted by the reframing of modern institutions—especially media and establishment power—as moral arbiters that decide who is acceptable and who is rejected. This language of “clean” and “unclean” has helped us articulate something we have felt but not fully understood: that reputations, livelihoods, and credibility can be stripped away rapidly by forces that claim moral authority while operating without mercy. This has intensified our awareness that we are not merely dealing with abstract ideas, but with real mechanisms of control that shape perception, belonging, and exclusion.

At the same time, we are sobered by the honesty of the diagnosis of the Body of Christ itself. We acknowledge our fragmentation, lack of cohesion, and dependence on systems that do not serve us and can silence us at any moment. For many of us, this has felt like a hard but necessary reality check—not shaming, but clarifying. It explains why we so often feel outmatched, reactive, or isolated, even when our convictions are sincere. We are beginning to see that the greatest vulnerability is not opposition itself, but our inability to reliably find, reach, and support one another when pressure comes.

This recognition has landed differently across us all. Some feel a strong call to practical action: building communication, infrastructure, and systems that allow the Body of Christ to function as a body rather than disconnected parts as it currently is. Others feel convicted to turn inward first, recognising that sustainable action must flow from transformed character, deeper surrender to Christ, and honest introspection. There is a shared sense that inside-in and inside-out work is not in competition with external preparedness but instead must develop together, in the right order.

We are also aware that this moment is stirring personal crossroads. Many of us are navigating significant change—spiritually, emotionally, relationally—and the material has given language and structure to what already felt like a transition from something old into something new. Themes of preparation, vigilance, courage, and readiness recur among us, alongside a renewed concern for the next generation and for building foundations that nurture the human spirit rather than erode it.

Across the diversity of our reflections, there is a clear convergence: this is not a season for passivity, vague intentions, or superficial improvement. It feels like a time for cutting away deadwood, confronting fear and conditioning, and committing—personally and collectively—to a more grounded, embodied faith. Some of us feel stretched and uncomfortable; others feel relieved, energised, or newly hopeful. All of us sense the gravity of the times we are in, paired with a growing clarity about what responsibility looks like for us as Christians now.

We are grateful for the care, scholarship, and integrity evident in the work being shared, including the thoughtful use of tools and images to bring clarity rather than distraction. We recognise that wisdom of this kind comes from disciplined thought, spiritual discernment, and a genuine pursuit of truth. Above all, we share a desire that none of us stands alone, that communication remains possible, and that unity is built not in fear or imitation of the world’s methods, but in Christ.

We move forward humbled and sobered but hopeful, aware of danger but no longer blind, convinced that while the feet of clay are still kicking, they are also crumbling—and that God is calling His people to be prepared, connected, and faithful in the midst of it all.
