Good day everyone,
Why are the BBC and those who work for it so repugnantly arrogant in their conduct?
Why do they never truly admit to their heinous, systemic criminality?
Why do they carry on like they are Britain’s sacred gift of broadcasting?
How do you know they are truly evil?
Two words:
Militant Ignorance
M. Scott Peck described evil as “militant ignorance” — not mere unknowing, but an active, aggressive refusal to face truth, guilt and accountability. When confronted with evidence and consequences, it still chooses the lie.
And not quietly.
Militant ignorance fights.
It is a committed refusal to see oneself truthfully, at any cost.
Just yesterday, March 30th, it was announced that long-term BBC Radio DJ, Scott Mills, was dismissed because of his alleged sexual conduct with an underage male. This is only the latest (known) incident in a very long line of sexual abuse allegations, along with convictions, right back to Jimmy Savile and beyond. We will be detailing much more about the BBC Savile Syndrome in an upcoming article where we will be revealing other recent cases of the institutional paedophilia in the BBC.
What do the BBC do instead of deep, probing investigations into themselves? They deflect onto their targets, abscond all responsibility, vilify small, purpose built community groups like Lighthouse Global, or individuals like Tommy Robinson and Sir Cliff Richard. They are literally destroying other people’s lives, reputations, finances, safety and their health. Some individuals have even taken their own lives because of such heinous mainstream media attacks.
Instead of taking responsibility in humility, they try to preserve an image of respectability, while lying as needed to protect that image. They cannot tolerate introspection; so they run from inner truth by seemingly taking moral superiority over others.
This is not just “getting it wrong.”
It is defending the wrong as if their life depended on it (because to them, it does).
The BBC’s Institutionalised Militant Ignorance
This is why the BBC cannot be trusted as an impartial, unbiased, fair broadcaster serving the public interest. We have seen how they have:
- Doctored President Trump’s speech
- Maliciously edited recordings to portray Paul S. Waugh as the supposed villain
- Rejected evidence that would expose their sources as fake whistleblowers, even when that evidence was offered under an NDA to protect the privacy of their sources.
- Peddled fake cult experts like Alexandra Stein to present lies as truth
- Housed and protected child abusers for decades
- Defended toxic, coercively controlling families
Then comes the most damning question:
If the BBC are truly confident they are telling the truth, why fear scrutiny?
Why resist evidence?
Why hide from debate?
Militant ignorance does not merely want to persuade.
It wants to dominate.
And when challenged, it does what it always does:
It projects.
It calls the truthful “dangerous.”
It calls the reformer “extremist.”
It calls the exposer “harasser.”
It calls the whistleblower “the problem.”
This is why the BBC have now made it known after three years of Lighthouse’s attempts to obtain a full, comprehensive right to reply to the false and malicious allegations in “A Very British Cult”, that they will not grant this to us. And all the while it acts as henchman for the top tier Establishment, the home of such evil.
The Cost to Citizens of Militant Ignorance
If militant ignorance is real, then this is not just “their problem.”
It becomes a public danger.
So ask yourself:
- How many lives have been damaged because accusations were believed without verification?
- How many reputations have been assassinated because a narrative was easier than the truth?
- How many ordinary citizens have been trained to outsource discernment to “trusted institutions”?
- How many people are now afraid to speak, afraid to investigate, afraid to disagree, because the mob will be fed a story about them?
And here is the uncomfortable one:
- If you were presented with hard evidence that an institution, or someone close to you, that you trusted was lying, would you want to know?
Or would you prefer not to look?
Militant ignorance is not just in “them.”
It is a temptation in all of us.
The danger is, that militant ignorance is suicidal.
And that is the final warning:
Those who remain militantly ignorant will always have their comeuppance.
They will always meet the consequences of the truth they refused to face.
The only question is whether they will repent before their downfall…
Or insist on being dragged into it.

This is a chilling warning to anyone who thinks they can play with reality. The points at the end of this update are clear, no one who wields militant ignorance, ever gets away with it. The BBC truly epitomise this state of wilful hatred of the truth that does not work in their “favour”. But to attack and abuse members of the public, ordinary people, in order to hide their own abuses? It’s vile and as you say, repugnant! People like Jeffrey Leigh-Jones and Richard Thomas thought they would be secure on the ship that is the BBC, not realising it’s sinking fast by the day. They chose to attack the truth, not realising that there’s only going to ever be one winner in that fight. I am saying this mournfully, because as you say, militant ignorance tempts us all and I have in the past tried to use it to ignore the truth of those abusers and liars around me. I thank God I can see more clearly now, knowing that I have so much more to see and unlearn. Praise our God. Thank you for this special update. God bless and heal you all.

Seeing the revelation of yet another abuse scandal at the BBC is sickening. It is not only sickening that it’s happened again, but that the BBC will somehow still wish to present itself as a ‘holier-than-thou’ angel of light. They start up initiatives like BBC Verify (which we’re verifying here) with the hubris that they are bastions of truth and righteousness.
They dare to attack the likes of us and others seeking to hold abusers accountable. Thank God for the work we’re doing with Citizen Intervention Global to hold the likes of the BBC and other corrupt institutions accountable.
I just read about Scott Mills this afternoon and I was disgusted not surprised because this unfortunately is the pattern we can expect from BBC. We await further details as he’s not yet been found guilty of anything, but it remains nevertheless deeply disturbing and troubling. If any other organisation had so many sex and paedophilia scandals coming out of its doors, not only would they be shut down but you’d be thinking twice about anyone aligning with that organisation. But the BBC apparently gets a free pass? No way. God will not be mocked. The BBC try to pretend it’s bad apples in a good bunch, but how many need to go bad before this chilling warning is actually adhered?
Reading this really challenged me to look at where I might still be blind or defensive instead of truly seeking truth. It’s uncomfortable, but necessary—because without humility and honesty, it’s easy to fall into the very ignorance we think we’re against.
When I saw the headlines in relation to Scott Mills and the allegations of sexual abuse of a 16 year old..I thought not again. God bless that child. Assuming he is guilty..How many more times does this need to happen before the BBC actually do something internally and recognise they have a problem. Having spoken to BBC staff in 2024 who assured me that there is a great deal being done internally ie procedures to whistleblow when employees see wrong within the organisation,..something clearly is endemic at a root level. Superficial review that soon get forgotten about are not enough.
Thank you Dr M.Scott Peck for the term Militant ignorance. This describes the BBC accurately. Their militant ignorance, has enabled and facilitated the abuse of hundreds of children and adults and not only this, but have also enabled and orchestrated many cover-ups of abuse too. The BBC’s time is up.
Thank you for sharing the definition of evil as “militant ignorance.” The seemingly unending scandals surrounding the BBC shows a deep-rooted cultural issue that has caused significant harm.
When an organisation or an individual refuses to repent, avoids responsibility, and instead justifies or defends wrongdoing, it points to something fundamentally broken. In such cases, accountability is not optional, it is essential.
Truth has a way of coming to light, and what is hidden cannot remain so indefinitely. I pray for all those who have suffered as a result of the BBC’s actions, and that justice, healing, and genuine repentance will follow.
Thankfully I believe the public are waking up to who and what the BBC really are more and more. That militant ignorance is showing itself more every time there is a fresh scandal and the BBC are unable to prevent a constant roll of scandals of sexual abuse and deviancy because that’s the culture at the core of it. It’s who the BBC attracts nd is full of so there will only be more. Thank you for such a good article detailing the reality of who they are and how they operate as clearly as this. These structured breakdowns and clear labels clearly identify the reality and make it harder and harder for them to hide and project themselves (deceitfully and deviously) as angels of light as they have in the past.
What an important update. I say that because what you are sharing needs to be told. Mainstream media have gotten away with so much over the years, the BBC being one of them, but what you are doing, is giving the public a voice. What happened with Jimmy Savile was despicable, so much was swept under the carpet. However, when it’s about someone outside of the BBC, well that’s a different story. The BBC pray on people in venerable situations, then throw them under the bus.

That’s stated very well, ‘Militant Ignorance’, that BBC have a stance that other than truth seeking or genuinely working in the interest of the pubic, and they’re doing whatever they can to throw others under the bus to maintain their unwarranted position. As if they are new to this situation with Scott Mills, and I believe they could done something way earlier than now. My question is what has changed for them to act? It wouldn’t have been by choice, something has forced their hand, they’d prefer to hide this thing.
