Paul S. Waugh: 2026 – The Year of the Bridge
Paul had a call with Lighthouse associates from the mountains, we apologise for any breaking up of the recording.
Family, brothers and sisters in Christ, and fellow citizens,
1. 2026 – from Lighthouse to the Kingdom of God
2026 is not just another year. It is a catalytic bridging year – a hinge between where we are and where we must be in the body of Christ and in public life.
For Lighthouse and those joined to this work, 2026 is a bridge out of indoctrination under the Kingdom of Darkness (KOD) and a bridge into more functional, productive, godly, problem‑solving life – theo‑Christologically, humanly, materially, and financially. For many others, 2027 will be their bridging year. For us, 2026 is the crossing.
2. The work of bridging
A bridge spans a divide that cannot otherwise be crossed well. Over the years we have spoken about life engineering, problem solving, discipleship and sanctification, and moving from scarcity to value‑building life. All of this has really been bridging.
Bridges are needed from falsehood to truth, from ignorance to knowledge, from lack of skill to capability, from “No, I cannot” to “Yes, I can and must”, and from a KOD‑centred self to God‑centred, righteous stewardship of self.
The most important bridges are not made of steel or concrete, but stretch between God and humanity, between death and life, between hell and the Kingdom, and between indoctrinated, passive citizens and Christ‑rooted, value‑building humans. Christ’s flesh, His cross, His resurrection body – these are the ultimate bridge. When the Word became flesh, the Logos Himself became the bridge.
What we have been doing at Lighthouse is learning, often under fire, how to build and cross such bridges in the real world.
3. Four decades of bridge‑building under attack
For about forty years I have been studying and exposing the structure of the KOD establishment, mapping the bridges that humans, families, churches, citizens, and societies must cross, and testing those bridges in practice with real people in real pain and real pressure.
Together we have built thousands of micro‑bridges in knowledge, character, relationships, finances, and citizenship. We have gathered millions of words of research, case work, and reflection, while taking blows that have repeatedly threatened to destroy us – from malicious media attacks and institutional hostility to personal defamation, misrepresentation, spiritual assault, and illness.
The BBC and others did not simply criticise a group. They tried to burn the factory of bridges – to destroy the capacity to discover, build, and share the very bridges that threaten KOD control, scarcity, and indoctrination.
That we are still standing at the end of 2025 is, humanly speaking, unlikely. Spiritually, it testifies to the sovereignty of God and to the reality that these bridges matter more than those who attack them.
4. What this year has revealed about the KOD
The past year of malicious attack has exposed several realities.
The education, media, and cultural establishments are not neutral. They are active instruments of indoctrination that avoid teaching people who they are, what value is, or how to solve problems and build bridges in their own lives.
The Body of Christ remains more shaped by KOD assumptions than it realises. Many believers are not thinking seriously about bringing even one person to Christ, let alone acting at the scale of nations.
The work Lighthouse is doing is therefore inherently threatening to the KOD. When people are taught to see indoctrination, value, and bridging clearly – and to act on that sight – the control systems that keep them in dependency and fear are undermined.
Our opposition this year has not been incidental. It has been diagnostic. It confirms that the bridge‑building work we have been led into is real and dangerous to the right enemies.
5. What 2026 demands of us
Because of all we have walked through this year, 2026 cannot be a slogan or a motivational theme. It requires a concrete response, both organisationally and personally.
5.1 For Lighthouse as an organisation
In 2026 we will:
- Name and treat bridging as the organising principle of our work, so that life engineering, discipleship, citizenship, and leadership are explicitly framed as building and crossing bridges.
- Focus on forming bridge builders, not followers. We are not here to carry tourists across. We are here to train and deploy men and women who can say: “This is where we are. That is where we must be. Here is the bridge we must build and cross.”
- Express this through:
- Open letters (including open letters to God)
- Lighthouse publications, with the first major publication scheduled for the end of January
- Verse publications and other written and spoken material
- Direct work with individuals, families, and communities
5.2 For each of us personally
Each associate is called to ask:
- What are the real divides in my theo‑Christological life, my character and relationships, my material stewardship, and my finances?
- Where am I still indoctrinated and operating as a “level‑one” citizen – chaotic, anti‑social, dependent, passive?
- Which specific bridges now need to be built and crossed in my beliefs and obedience, my character and responsibilities, my health, time, environment, and stewardship, and in relation to my debts, scarcity, and financial habits?
Then the crucial question remains:
- Will I remain a passenger waiting to be carried, or will I become a bridge builder who helps others to see, build, and cross?
6. Prayer, the Holy Spirit, and our limits
Not everything is a bridge. There are realities that transcend bridging.
Prayer is the fastest human action we know, reaching God beyond an expanding universe in an instant. The Holy Spirit is not a bridge we construct, but the One who has already bridged us to God and who moves in and through us.
We need both the humility to know that some things are only possible by God’s sovereign act, and the courage to accept that, where God has given us a mandate, we must build and cross the bridges in front of us instead of waiting passively.
The attacks of this year have clarified that we cannot and will not reach where God is leading us in our own strength. They have also clarified that we are not called to stand still.
7. What this year’s attacks mean for our future
Everything we have endured in 2025 – the malicious attacks, the misrepresentation, the attempts to isolate and silence us – has revealed two parallel truths:
- The KOD establishment is more threatened by this work than by much of the “Christian activity” it is happy to tolerate. Private faith is one thing. Exposing indoctrination, building real bridges, and training others to do the same is another.
- God has preserved and refined a remnant ready for a different kind of year. Those still standing at the end of 2025 have already crossed many unseen micro‑bridges – of endurance, loyalty, repentance, correction, perseverance, trust, and through illness, scarcity, fear, slander, and confusion.
2026 is the year in which those hidden bridges are to be put into service for others at a new level. The cost of this past year is not to be wasted. It is to be invested.
8. An invitation and a charge
As we close 2025 and step over this threshold into 2026, I am asking:
- Will you receive 2026 as your bridging year, not just Lighthouse’s?
- Will you allow God to expose where KOD ways of thinking and living still dominate?
- Will you join in the work of building and crossing the bridges needed in your life, your family, your community, and the wider body of Christ?
- Will you stand with us as we open up decades of work – the bridges, the lessons, the blows, the breakthroughs – so that others can be brought out of indoctrination and into value‑building life under God?
There is no fixed price list for this. The currency remains:
- Theo‑Christological value
- Human value
- Material value
- Financial value
If you must start by taking what you need for free, then take it. But do not stay passive. As God increases your capacity, increase your participation – in prayer, in effort, and in human, material, and financial partnership.
9. Closing this year
Standing at the close of 2025, after everything that has been thrown at us, I can say this: the establishment has shown its hand. God has preserved a people. The bridges we have already built are real and costly, and the bridges ahead are many and greater.
With bowed head and bended knee, I thank God for the decades that brought us here, for the blows that exposed our weaknesses and the system’s nature, for the blessings seen and unseen that sustained us, and for the bridges already built and those still to come.
By His grace, 2026 will be the Year of the Bridge for Lighthouse and for every associate who chooses to step onto it.

Hi everyone,
We recognise, collectively but from very different personal angles, that what we encountered through Paulie’s leading was not a motivational image or a helpful metaphor, but a confrontation with a real governing principle: bridging is how change actually happens. For many of us this exposed how deeply limited and indoctrinated our thinking has been—how easily we reduce reality to analogy, abstraction, or wishful leaps, rather than engaging with the slow, costly, constructive work required to move from one condition to another. Seeing bridging as real has given us clarity about the past year, reframing it not as wasted suffering or delay, but as preparation, clearance, diagnosis, and foundation-laying for what lies ahead.
We are coming to see the last year as a necessary breaking-down: of misplaced trust in institutions, of internal lies, of pseudo-community, of toxic relational patterns, and of our own unexamined selfishness. For some of us this has been an internal unravelling—exposing pride, control, addictions, fear, and deep insecurity—while for others it has been an external confrontation with systems of control, injustice, and hostility that resist responsibility and truth. Across these differences, we share the conviction that none of this has been accidental or wasted. What was revealed has made visible the real chasms we must cross: spiritual, psychological, emotional, relational, material, vocational and financial.
We are united in recognising that the most urgent bridges are internal and spiritual. Many of us see clearly now how easy it is to oppose the Kingdom of Darkness in principle while remaining shaped by its mental, emotional, and behavioural architecture. The call to build bridges out of our own minds, hearts, and habits—through repentance, retraining, healing, and obedience to God’s Commandments—has landed deeply. This includes learning the difference between pathological selfishness and healthy self-interest; between false comfort-seeking and nourishment; between motivation rooted in unhealthy fear or reward and action grounded in love for God. We increasingly accept that we cannot see or fix these distortions on our own, and that enduring change requires God’s work in us, often through great discomfort, humility, repetition, and exposure.
At the same time, we are seeing that bridging is not only inward self-examination but necessarily relational and communal. Christianity itself is not merely belief but connection—Christ as the bridge between God and humanity, and the body of Christ as a network of living bridges that must be built, strengthened, and maintained. We sense both the privilege and responsibility of moving from being recipients of support to becoming builders for others: helping people cross divides they may not even realise exist, and teaching them how to build their own bridges rather than remaining dependent, isolated, or passive. This includes resisting the temptation to offer quick fixes and instead committing to long-term structures that produce character, competence, and value.
There is also a sober realism among us. There is a greater awareness not to romanticise what lies ahead. We expect bigger problems, more resistance, misunderstanding, and pressure—from within ourselves, from relationships, and from systems that benefit from division, dependency, and stagnation. Yet this awareness has not produced despair. Instead, many of us feel more grounded than we ever have entering a new year: less frantic, less idealistic, but more resolved. Endurance, rather than excitement alone, is becoming a shared value—an understanding that fruitfulness comes through sustained faithfulness, not dramatic leaps.
While our emphases differ—some of us feeling the weight of justice, others the call to service, healing, truth-telling, or capacity-building—we are aligned in committing the year ahead to God rather than our own agendas. We sense that this is not a year of arrival but of transition; not a spectacle to observe but work to enter. Whether it brings visible breakthrough, quiet construction, or intensified trial, we agree that it demands participation: choosing to build, reinforce, and cross the bridges God grants us, together.
Above all, we share a deep gratitude—for what has been exposed, for what has been preserved, for the bonds that have tightened under pressure, and for leadership from Paulie that has refused shortcuts despite immense cost to him. We enter the year ahead with clearer eyes, sobered hearts, and a growing confidence that transformation is possible—not because it is easy, but because Christ is perfectly faithful. In that confidence, we commit ourselves to be builders rather than tourists, servants rather than spectators, and a body willing to cross from darkness into light, step by step, bridge by bridge. Thank you Paul, Chris, Shaun, the whole team putting this update and every update together. I feel that there is so much that was happening this year to clear the way for 2026 and beyond and that is an eternal and infinite process of bridge building, like just clearing a space of certain people out of my life, as well as going through such a process this year and forming tighter bonds here among us but also with other Christians we’ve had the fortune of getting to know through it.
This year past has been enabling me to go through the process of breaking my own lies down, as to my trust in the establishment that’s misplaced and also clearing out the psychological air and space in me to step away from unhealthy relationships.
I felt so much more appreciation for what’s happened this year to clear the way to be able to then go into next year and be building those internal and external bridges, the neural pathways, the retraining, the relearning.
I’ve been slowly working on ideas and intentions for the new year but I’m not in a rush to get them all in place today. One thing I am doing in myself is committing the year to God. It’s His year, His good works, not mine. Boy I’ve seen that the last year that as He says, “The heart of man plans his way, But Yahweh directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9). To know that this year we build a multitude of bridges inside, outside and enabling us all to cross the bridge out of the kingdom of darkness. The time has come, praise and thanks to our Father in Heaven.
God bless Paul serving God so lovingly. He knows he has a massive target on him and that won’t stop him with every last breath and I pray for that same mature attitude to become a dedicated man of God…
This list update has been the most inspiring one ever. The paradigm and reality of building bridges from a limited and restrictive place to new pastures that God has laid out for our growth and wellbeing is powerful. It feels like a rising up in a very empowered way. The foundation was built in 2025 and the previous years, now this is the year when the real building begins, stretching across humanity. Many people will be reached, and it will become a force to be reckoned with. The delusion that has been there is cracking, people are questioning and seeing the evil behind it. This is the year.
The emphasis of needing bridges out of the Kingdom of Darkness hit home hard. It exposed how easy it is to intellectually oppose in my head in principle what it stands for while still living inside its mental and emotional architecture. The way Paul described the body of Christ as still deeply shaped by Kingdom of Darkness patterns felt explanatory rather than condemning.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you so much Paul. This update genuinely stirred something in me. Naming 2026 as the Year of the Bridge feels both exciting and deeply right — not a finish line, but a real crossing from what we’ve endured into what God is forming. After all the clarity, testing, and solidifying that’s taken place, it feels like the moment to step forward with faith and courage. I’m grateful for the discernment behind this and full of expectancy for what God will do as we walk this transition together, anchored in Christ and moving with purpose.
This update shows what the last year has revealed: a deepening connection with our Father, a clearer awareness of the spiritual war we are living in, and a growing understanding of how the Kingdom of Darkness seeks to control and suppress justice.
Entering 2026 as a “year of the bridge” feels both like a profound privilege and a serious calling, for us individually and collectively. There is such a strong sense of the need to build real value, theochristologically, humanly, materially, and financially and to come together to serve those in need, helping others step out of indoctrination and into truth and love.
A big thank you to Paul for his decades of research, faithfulness, and perseverance, especially in the face of health challenges and ongoing attacks.

Today has been a significant day in light of what Paulie shared about the intangible bridges we are learning to build in Christ, through His Holy Spirit. As he spoke, I found myself picturing the human body—how everything is connected, each part bridging to the next, working together as one.
It also took me back to secondary school, to my Design Technology classes, where we learned how to build bridges in the engineering sense. At the time, the complexity felt overwhelming—designing, calculating, using software I barely understood. Looking back now, it reminds me how little I appreciated the complexity of anything back then, let alone life itself and the gifts God has given us.
What really resonated today was the emphasis on these intangible bridges within BHMS, and how they inevitably spill over into the tangible. That feels deeply profound. It truly feels as though the coming year will be a pivotal chapter for us all—building the right relationships in Christ, deepening our walk with Him, and growing in capacity, character, and competence.
Paulie’s reminder that the suffering and challenges of the past year must not be wasted struck a deep chord. May this be the year we use what we’ve endured to serve others more fully, to love more freely, and to increasingly say “yes” where God calls us to.
This is an incredible time. I’m deeply thankful for this past year, and for the years to come. I pray blessings, peace, love, and joy over each of you—and over myself—in Christ.

I was reflecting on what it means for 2026 to be a bridging year. It struck me how it means that all we’ve been talking about and working on at Lighthouse for years will now start coming to fruition in ways never seen before. There needs to be a transition and this transition is only possible because of the building of bridges.
The more I see the state of the world and the direction the establishment is directing it, the more I see that we (the Body of Christ) need to be resourced theochristologically, humanly, materially and financially. Foundationally I see how my faith needs to be mature and unshakeable.
Christ spoke about the need to be on the watch for the signs of the times. These are becoming increasingly evident. So the need for bridges out of the Kingdom of Darkness is significant; emphasising our role both as bridge builders, but also helping others to build bridges. Yet another reason why the establishment wants to destroy us and our work.
Meanwhile I see the righteousness and healthiness in responding with the paradigm that the establishment is the mission field. It’s through this paradigm that we can love our enemy in the way that Christ commanded.

Thank you Paul, Chris and Shaun and all involved here in bringing these updates together over the last several weeks and months. The diagrams, the structure here are great and these articles are helping bridge the gap between our lack of understanding and ignorance to a clarity of knowledge, wisdom and purpose I haven’t had. This outlook gives me a perspective on the year ahead in 2026 I did not know I needed, thank you!
This really is how I and we ought to have been brought up to see every year of life, from as early as being a young child. If I’d treated every year as a span of time to bridge from one place in my life to another, across multiple dimensions, to learn how to traverse and overcome large gaps and even chasm’s of lack and missing knowledge, skill and application and value, then life could have been a continual upward spiral of development, growth, progress and improvement.
Bridging is where the transition happens and transformation is achieved leading to a transactional result. If there’s one thing this shows, through the attacks on Lighthouse, it’s that some people are not interested in bridging divides. In fact, they want to create and enforce divides. They want to prevent bridge building if they can and to destroy any efforts to establish bridges, just to maintain the status quo, whether that’s the establishment and its members right down to even the people in our own families, tragically.
What I love here is the distinction that building bridges and the process and principle of bridging itself is not just something we do out in the world, it’s something that we need to do in ourselves too, bridging from one state of character and competence to another. That’s growth. I and we need the right bridges out of where our minds, hearts and souls have been locked in limitation, fear and scarcity to creativity, hope and resourceful abundance. I love the call to responsibility and action here, “as God increases your capacity, increase your participation” – absolutely! May God bless us all who want to and are participating in the building of such meaningful and value increasing bridges this year.
This has got to be the best piece of work I have come across in relation to getting very clear on what we want and need to work towards for this year coming! There is so much to appreciate and one of the parts that really stood out was that these intangible bridges must be grounded, rooted, sturdy and built bit by bit, through knowledge, skill and action, strengthening and reinforcing the bridge(s). And what I really love is that we are looking at how we help others become bridge builders too, helping them cross, helping them to help their families build their own and cross those too.
