2nd October 2026 — Lighthouse Friday Update — When Would the BBC Not Have Labelled Lighthouse Global a Cult?
Lighthouse Daily – 2nd October 2026…
Good evening, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today’s update is about a three-minute read.
“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” — John 7:24 (ESV)
1. Would the BBC Have Called Us a Cult If We Shared Its Preferred Ideology?
Would the BBC have labelled Lighthouse Global a cult if we had embraced Islam rather than Christianity — or become a woke, far-left liberal movement?
Our journey to Christ was presented as a tactical rebrand. Loyalty, diligent work, investment and resistance to false accusations were assembled into a picture of control and exploitation.
The issue is not condemning Muslims, liberals or LGBTQ+ citizens as a group. It is whether the BBC scrutinises particular conduct consistently — or changes its standards according to whom it favours, fears or can safely attack.
A broadcaster cannot claim impartiality while treating one community’s beliefs as grounds for suspicion and another’s as grounds for protection.
Such labels can become instruments of diabolical Life Destruction: destroying reputation, relationships, livelihoods and future opportunities before the evidence receives a fair hearing.

Today’s article puts those different standards side by side. Read it with one question in mind: is the BBC judging the conduct — or choosing its judgement according to the beliefs and identity of its target?
We Challenge Ed Campbell and The BBC To Broadcast The Results of Our 5-Year Investigation Uncovering The BBC Savile Syndrome
The BBC has given us at Lighthouse Global a profound insight into who they are, how they operate and whom they employ. Through around half a decade of investigation and direct interaction, we have seen the BBC’s dirty-tricks modus operandi: their indoctrination, deceit, propaganda, dishonesty, gross deception and darkness — the whole BBC Savile Syndrome. What they have revealed has shocked us to our very core.
BBC Director-General Matt Brittin claims that more than 500 million people globally trust the BBC. That is plainly not true. Hardly anyone in the United Kingdom trusts the BBC anymore. But among those who still do, how many have been allowed to see what we have seen? How many have examined the evidence and proof we possess about the BBC’s conduct? None.
Ed Campbell and the BBC… we challenge you to allow us to use your reach to give us a voice.
Give us five hours to serialise the evidence and place it before the same audience that watched and listened to A Very British Cult. Allow us to showcase your deception, your evil, who you are, the character of those responsible and the people you employ. Then let us see how much trust remains when your audience has heard the evidence withheld from them before they were invited to judge and condemn us.
Why would the BBC expose itself to us as it has?
It has because it knows we do not possess its reach — and it has no intention of giving us access to it. Instead, it offered a little “right of reply” at the end, when the noose was already around our necks: a few last words to an audience that had been led towards the BBC’s predetermined verdict. That was not a meaningful reply. It was part of the media machinery weaponised against us.
The bottom line is that the BBC has revealed its character — and its lack of character — along with its dark, sinister soul and evil, malevolent underbelly. It never believed for one moment that this little group would survive what it unleashed. The BBC expected Lighthouse Global to be completely and utterly destroyed within months of its hit piece at most. Even if we endured, it calculated that we would remain unable to bring the truth before a mass audience. That is precisely why it insisted it would never give us the platform to answer it properly.
The BBC cannot afford to let the wider public see what its actions have enabled us to uncover. Our investigation and interaction with its people have shown them up. The only thing standing between the BBC and full public exposure — including a reckoning that could lead to its licence fee being withdrawn altogether — is an exposé placing this evidence before the world.
That exposé is coming, and it will happen globally. The BBC intended to destroy Lighthouse Global and silence our voice. Instead, it unwittingly put us on the map.
Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple Establishment attacks on him, these updates are generated by the team, drawing from Paul’s recent and earlier words and what we are working with here at Lighthouse. We ask you to keep him in your prayers as he builds strength and renews in our Lord.
About us.. We are a group of dedicated Christians who run a secular human growth and research organisation called Lighthouse Global since 4 November 2004 only and undeniably made possible by God’s love and Grace.
Important and very revealing questions, especially when you look at what the BBC is presenting in its news, children’s programmes and entertainment shows…
Thank you for this update. It’s astonishing how our preconceived ideas, notions, beliefs and biases influence the way we see ourselves and others, and therefore the projection that can happen onto people who don’t share the same belief or standpoint on something.
Thank you for highlighting this and producing the commentary alongside it. God bless you, Paul, and everyone at Lighthouse x x
This is a really important question to ask because the answer immediately reveals the BBC‘s intentions and motive. This is not about protecting or serving the public interest, this is about life destruction of ideological enemies.
This is a critical question and one that the BBC need to ask themselves!

Thank you for this update, a slam dunk case. Just because Lighthouse is a Christian, purpose built community, we must be a cult. Why? Because we stand for something the BBC don’t, that is The Truth…

This question definitely shows how crucial it is to understand the deep underlying motives of the BBC and what their intentions are. Just looking at the way the BBC treats Lighthouse, Paul S. Waugh and other individuals and organisations shows how they try to shut down those who challenge them or their overlords. They are used to having the power to destroy the lives of people, and it’s time to change that!

Who decides ‘what is news?’ what gets broadcast and in what context are crucial editorial decisions that are not being made with equal weight to all given groups of society by The BBC. There is clear favouritism of their own BBC internal agenda and clear denial of acknowledgement or consideration to any group they want to damage.

This is revealing like nothing else!! This just shows how woke A Very British Cult is because they have not applied the very same logic to their own cultural ideologies and beliefs. Surely that should have been a flag in editorial? Because now that you see it, you can’t unsee it. And you certainly cannot take the BBC seriously ever again.

These are such pertinent questions! And very damning when one looks at the truth. No doubt the BBC has its own preferences and preferred “partners” based upon its ideological beliefs.

Boom, very powerful point of thinking questioning Islam and the BBC. it’s so needed, and thank you for asking the question.

That is a great question about embracing Islam. The answer to it I feel is quite self evident, but it also reminded me of this great clip… https://youtu.be/jT7tGTVsGvg?si=zQZ7QuOnu1ms_6iT
