Will BBC Verify Face the Evidence of BBC Life Destruction?
Good evening, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
“Test everything; hold fast what is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (ESV)
Truth Must Be Tested
BBC Verify presents itself as a public safeguard against falsehood, misinformation and disinformation. But any institution claiming authority to test others must be willing to place its own journalism under the same scrutiny.
That is the simple question behind today’s article: will BBC Verify rigorously examine Paul S. Waugh’s open letter to Catrin Nye — and the BBC’s own reporting on Lighthouse Global?
A Direct Challenge to BBC Verify
Paul has challenged the BBC Verify team to bring its journalistic experience, investigative resources and technology to this task… to not hold back in its testing of an open letter that has been sent to the highest levels of leadership at the BBC and in government.
He is not asking readers to accept his account uncritically. He is asking for the evidence, claims and human consequences to be examined fully and fairly, with truth — not institutional self-protection — as the governing standard.
Today’s article introduces that challenge and publishes Paul’s letter to the BBC Verify team.
Read and Examine for Yourself
We invite you to read the article and consider the question at its centre. If BBC Verify exists to pursue truth, will it test the BBC’s own work when citizens present a serious, evidenced challenge to it?

Read carefully. Test what is claimed. Apply the same standard to Lighthouse Global, Paul S. Waugh, Catrin Nye and the BBC. Commit to objective truth and reality, not subjective bias and prejudice.
You are in our prayers.
God bless,
Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash and Shaun Cooper
Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple Establishment attacks on him, these updates are generated by the team, drawing from Paul’s recent and earlier words and what we are working with here at Lighthouse. We ask you to keep him in your prayers as he builds strength and renews in our Lord.

What a test for the BBC Verify team. Fail to take up the challenge genuinely and they reveal themselves as fakes. Take up the challenge genuinely and honourably and they stand to condemn the BBC for it’s heinous levels of weaponised wrongdoing and massive abuse of public resources for such nefarious means. Check mate!♟️
This is a clear and fair challenge, and it will say a lot about the BBC Verify team if they ignore it. Trust is so crucial, and the BBC has definitely lost a lot of trust through all the lies and falsehoods. It will be fascinating to see if and how they respond to this challenge.
BBC Verify have proved themselves to be part of the same BBC arrogance that points the finger — and the guillotine — At everyone else. Yet never to verify, scrutinise, or examine themselves with any measure of impartiality or integrity. Shame on them.
I think I already know the answer unfortunately – but what an acid test. Having unfortunately seen the response of BBC Verify to prior Lighthouse correspondence I would love BBC Verify to actually have the courage of its public conviction to take this request and use its vast publicly funded resources.
I really appreciate the way that we are challenging BBC Verify to do their job! They won’t look at themselves, their organisation and now even an open letter that’s being distributed to senior figures at the BBC and government.
What will it take for the penny to drop and for someone from the BBC to even acknowledge the life-destruction work they perpetrate?
Thank you for this update. What I really appreciate about it is that its focus is on the truth objectively, rather than on subjective prejudice or bias. It is about facing the truth, and nothing but the truth.
Thank you, and God bless you all. 🙏
So good to see the forces that be are being challenged in line with truth. So heart warming and inspiring!
The fact that BBC Verify exists at all, shows how far the standards of BBC News have fallen. Isn’t what BBC Verify do, what the BBC News ought to be doing anyway? Testing, verifying and comparing different sides of the same argument, idea or world event?
That aside, BBC Verify ought to be exclusively looking at the BBC News delivery standards and be the internal watchdog of BBC News. I believe the police have an ‘Internal Affairs’ department to check on their own people and procedures? So If BBC Verify did the same I would welcome it with open arms!
Let us all strive towards greater levels of truth, through dedication to reality.
Thank you for sharing. This is critical to how we and everyone else see the BBC and to understanding why they lack verification. They write stories, not reality/truth and they need to be held accountable for their actions. BBC Verify!!! BBC Joke…
I still find it extremely bizarre that the BBC, of all organisations, created BBC Verify. This just shows the delusions of grandeur and how untouchable they believe they are..they are the ones who need verifying in many areas.
Well well well, it shouldn’t be surprising what the BBC is not willing to verify when it would make them look bad or work against them. The BBC has violated its own supposed ethics and abused the mandate it has to the British people. It is no longer fit for purpose, not just BBC Verify but all of it.
