Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Today’s update is about a 5-minute read.

1. Our Personal, Interpersonal & Global Commission from Christ: The Problems We Face and Solutions Needed
“No one who puts his hand to the plough and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” — Luke 9:62
We are in a spiritual war.
To most, that is a concept. An idea. A fairy tale.
But to those involved in that war, it is excruciatingly real.
All Christians have an enemy in Satan who targets us.
But if you’re not actually in the war, then he won’t bother with you.
A true soldier of Christ, increasingly rooted in His Spirit, is fighting in a war every day; inside their soul, and outside — within their own home and all around it.
Yesterday, we shared the importance of immersing ourselves in God’s constitution.
A Christian cannot go into battle without God’s constitution – trying to do ministry, activism or confronting any corrupt, evil, satanic force is critical work.
To try to do so without standing on God’s constitution is extremely dangerous, selfish and not in line with Christ. At worst, claiming to do battle in Christ, without Christ, is satanic.
We have all made, are making, or will make this mistake at some point in our journey in Christ.
Every servant and soldier of Christ throughout history has made this same mistake, from Abraham to King David to the Apostle Peter.
So let us proceed, as our Lord commanded, as innocently as doves and as wise as serpents (Matthew 10:16).
2. Targeted from Within: The Greatest Threats to the Body of Christ from Inside
“Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return to Yahweh.” — Lamentations 3:40
All deception starts with self‑deception
Before a person is deceived by the world, they are deceived about themselves first.
Self‑deception often looks like:
- Selected reality: accepting what comforts us, rejecting what convicts us
- Bias and prejudice: “discernment”, which is really emotional loyalty that is disloyal, and overrides the truth
- Mistaken identity: clinging to an image of self rather than the truth of who we are
- Neurotic certainty: fear masquerading as moral superiority and clarity
- Confirmation bias: hunting evidence to support a premeditated conclusion
Once we accept our inner distortion, carefully selected external narratives no longer need to persuade us.
They simply reinforce what the heart already wants.
Today, be more on the watch for how you deceive yourself in your own thoughts and feelings, before you jump ahead to how others are deceiving you —both are important to be aware of —but we must start inside or else we will always be deceived.

So true, how much do we look outside for what is wrong or working against us, yet we’ve become masters of avoiding what we can’t deal with or don’t want to deal with. The self deception I’m witnessing now that I’m actively looking is shocking. Being our own worst enemy has way more weight than we assume.
I relate a lot to the “neurotic certainty”. It’s becoming more and more apparent to me that I have been conditioned to experience fear. That’s come through my upbringing, schooling and not least the media. This call to bond more with God’s constitution is even more urgent for me. Thank you for this crucial message.
Thank you. The more I recognise the power, Truth, and protection found through God’s constitution, the more I realise how crucial it is to deepen my knowledge of God’s word and to live by it. Christ gave us clear commandments, and we are in a spiritual war. Only through a full commitment to Truth, however painful, can we begin to find solutions to certain problems and build the much needed value that can reduce the suffering of the vulnerable.
I also pray for the new Director General of the BBC, Matt Brittin, and that the BBC finds the courage to face up to its wrongdoing, regardless of whether it can survive or not. Its wrongs need to be acknowledged and corrected.
I can relate to my default being to look outside of myself rather than starting within! Thank you for this update.
This is a really powerful update, and one we must all take heed of: the inner deception that can control us if we are not aware of it. It is a devastating reflection on the BBC’s track record, and we must pray that those who can come to repentance in our Lord. Amen. Thank you
I appreciate the explanation as to what it means to deceive ourselves. If we’re not aware of the ways that this happens, then we will always be vulnerable to self-deception. This is very relevant to the first point around us being in a spiritual war. If we’re not aware of our self-deception, then we put ourselves at great risk to ourselves as well as our fellow Christian brothers and sisters…
What I appreciate about this is that you aren’t just pointing the finger at the BBC and shifting all the evil and blame onto them, you’re pointing out that we all fall short, we all make mistakes and we all deceive ourselves. That gives this so much credibility

Thank you for these examples of self-deception because as the Establishment continue to increasingly indoctrinate the masses to define reality for themselves, we need to keep grounded in , as people of God, as to what self deception actually looks like and not allow ourselves to be deceived by ourselves or by anyone else whilst not knowing we are 🙏
Absolutely right. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. This isn’t just outside of us, with places like the BBC, but inside of us too.
Critical to not deceive ourselves, because if we are then we are wide open to being deceived by others – especially establishment media!
This update has come at a very critical time for me, thank you to our Father, because this article would not be possible without Him. We go through our lives, day by day, lost in our own little worlds, believing that we are someone we are not. What you are helping me to understand is that, through my own deception, I have put barriers in my way to prevent me from doing what God truly wants for me and all of us. What you are sharing is so important for the Body of Christ to see and feel for themselves, as you are helping me see and feel.
