25th April, 2026 – Lighthouse Saturday Update – Weekly Update: Confronting the Judas Syndrome through Amateur Journalist Christian Hacking and Calling the Body of Christ to The Truth

Lighthouse Daily – 25th April 2026..

Context to the Investigation and Case Study of Amateur Journalist Christian Hacking

Christian Hacking presented himself to Lighthouse Global as an independent, Christian journalist. But as we only later found out, he had a vested interest in reporting on Lighthouse; he needed and wanted us to be a cult and Paul S Waugh to be the cult leader. It suited him for the sake of his amateur journalistic career to have this big scoop (no matter how false and deceptive) at Paul’s and Lighthouse’s expense. Hence, therein lies the Judas Syndrome. If Mr Hacking is trying to misrepresent and smear Christian communities as cults because of his own agenda rather than any genuine thorough investigation, then this must be put to an end now. This is the reason for this investigation and case study into him. Our full website dedicated to Mr Hacking can be found here.

Dear fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,

This week, we have had to confront a shocking reality: what happens when betrayal, deception, and a self-proclaimed “Christian” is used as a cover — not to build the Body of Christ, but to fracture, desecrate and cause it severe harm from within?

This is precisely what we have discovered from this week and our experiences with self-proclaimed, “very amateur” independent journalist Christian Hacking, through what we have termed, the Judas Syndrome.

What is crucial and vital to know is that the Judas Syndrome is not about one person or one situation. It is, as we have repeatedly said, not about Christian Hacking. This is THE GREATEST THREAT to the Body of Christ; being targeted from within. Christ Himself commanded us to not be deceived, and we must obey our Lord, wherever and whoever that deception comes from.

What is the Judas Syndrome?

It is the satanic, parasitic pattern where someone presents themselves as a brother, sister, friend, parent, pastor, i.e. an ally in Christ, while secretly running a separate, counter-agenda of self‑gain, at your expense, in the name of “good” or even in the name of God.

A key aspect of this Syndrome — and something we must be especially discerning about — is how genuine Christian kindness, patience, and openness are often exploited as weakness. What is intended as grace becomes an entry point for betrayal; what is offered in love is repurposed for harm. We have experienced this first hand with Mr Hacking, someone we prayed with and who took what was offered—particularly by Paul S Waugh and our three brothers, Kris, Sukh, and Jatinder—in genuine kindness, compassion, and brotherhood, and instead perceived it as weakness and an opportunity to target them during an especially vulnerable time. Mr Hacking himself knows we are not a cult and stated on record that “in my quieter moments I’ve envied their fellowship, their submission, their shared struggle, their resolve for truth, and questioned whether I was somehow missing out on a life deeper and richer than the one I now live.

The question for Mr Hacking is, has he taken responsibility for that envy in a constructive, upbuilding way? Or has that envy taken root so deep that it has turned into something more malicious and destructive?

This reflects a core aspect of what is the Judas Syndrome: where Christian love and righteousness are not received in the spirit in which they are given, but are instead misused and abused, rather than being honoured, appreciated, and returned in the Spirit of Christ.

While all of us may experience thoughts—or even moments—of betrayal, there is a deeper danger when such thoughts are allowed to take root and grow inside a person’s soul. When the spirit of betrayal is nurtured in this way, it can begin to shape a person’s character, giving rise to hatred, malice, and a self-exalting posture that ultimately leads them to become a betrayer.

In this sense, it reflects the same spirit and attitude seen in Judas Iscariot, who walked closely with Jesus as one of His disciples, yet ultimately betrayed Him—Gospel of Mark 14:43–46—with a kiss.

This is why it is so vital for the Body of Christ to remain both wise as serpents and innocent as doves, as Christ commands us. We cannot afford to be only as innocent as doves, while there are ravenous wolves parading as harmless sheep. Therefore, in love, humility and prayer, it is incumbent upon us to confront the Judas Syndrome where we see it and call for repentance. Christ did not wait for Judas to betray Him; once Satan entered Judas at the Last Supper, Christ ordered him to leave.

The Judas Syndrome Investigation and Case Study Launched This Week: Christian Hacking

This week after seeking legal counsel, we have been able to name the individual in our situation as the amateur independent journalist, Christian Hacking.

On the 22nd April, we announced this investigation and case study, providing full pretext and context to the situation.

On the 23rd April, we provided our first (of many) instalments, demonstrating the full evidential proof and receipts we have to back up all of our claims regarding Mr Hacking.

On the 24th April, we published an open letter addressed to Mr Hacking, showing clearly how he has defamed and brought damage to the Associates of Lighthouse Global.

You can read further into the Judas Syndrome and one of its many weapons, Toxic Framing, in the below articles:

Tomorrow, we will provide an overview of more open letters, evidence and insights we have to share regarding Mr Hacking. We will also be providing a thorough education into the Judas Syndrome pathology, as well as cults and communities.

We also want to sincerely thank all of you who have been praying — both for us and for Christian Hacking. Your prayers are deeply felt and appreciated. It is testament to the love and spirit of Christ that through this loving confrontation, that true brothers and sisters in Christ are recognising the truth that is being revealed, for God’s glory.

Finally, if you have experienced the Judas Syndrome personally or need help with it, please get in touch so that we can help you. This is an urgent and critical need for the Body of Christ.

God bless and strengthen you,

Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash and Shaun Cooper

Everyone at Lighthouse to a man and woman is praying for Christian Hacking. We sincerely hope that this is a case of him being sorely misguided, and that he will see the grave errors of his ways, repent, and be renewed by God’s love in ways he never has been before. Amen. We desperately need to understand the Judas Syndrome and pull out the mandrakes it develops within and outside of our own souls and relationships.

This has been a critical week, not just for Christian Hacking and us at Lighthouse Global, but for the wider Body of Christ that we are yearning to be connected with—our fellow brothers and sisters.

Thank you for this update and for the many more to come in regard to the Judas Syndrome.

God bless us all. Amen. 🙏

Thank you for a monumental week and confronting such a raw, sensitive and painful topic that all of us Christians need to face, while addressing a very real situation with very real lives and souls involved. Love is not just caring for those you love but also protecting them and keeping them from evil, darkness and from harm, as well as chastising and disciplining ourselves and others. Confronting the Judas syndrome is therefore an extremely loving thing to do, both for those who are suffering at the hands of betrayal and for the one committing the betrayal too. We are taught to welcome and value rebuke. “For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”. I pray that whatever happens with Mr Hacking, we all learn invaluable lessons and grow closer to Christ through this so His glory shines through it. It’s clear that this week has already provided some incredibly powerful insights and reflection for everyone to use and apply to their lives in greater service to Christ.

Thank you reiterating that the Judas Syndrome is the greatest threat to the Body of Christ. We cannot ignore this reality, we don’t only need to be on the watch for external targeting, the persecution Christ spoke of that we should expect, but also the internal targeting within the Body too.

This is a landmark week, thank you for all the work and thank you most of all to Christ 🙏

What a week…Thank you for everything that has been shared; all have been very necessary for us and our brothers and sisters in Christ to understand. The Judas Syndrome is a huge threat to the Body of Christ, because, as you have highlighted, this threat will not come from outside, but from within. We need to be ready, and we need to have our eyes open, and this is what this week’s articles and updates have been doing.

God bless us all…Amen

This has been a substantial week and hence a substantial update today. I can feel there’s a heaviness in my heart because of what I’m learning about the reality of the Body of Christ and those who operate within it claiming Christ, but ultimately pursing their own glorification. Whilst I’m now seeing this in Christian Hacking, what’s of greater concern is the Judas Syndrome that he represents.

That said, I appreciate the way that this experience is forging my maturity and discernment. It’s repeating the message “Trust God, not man”. That was what was revealed to me through the experience of having the BBC try to destroy us 3 years ago in A Very British Cult and it’s all the more true today. Just because someone claims Christ and is even willing to put their freedoms on the line, it doesn’t make them a true follower of Christ. The heart condition and character of someone is way more important than their seemingly benevolent actions.

May God bless, protect and equip the Elect with the discernment required to seek first His Kingdom, His righteousness and His people.

Amen. The Body of Christ cannot afford to ignore this message. The Judas syndrome is crucial to recognise, for Satan does indeed present himself as an angel of light, making it all too easy to be deceived by his lies and open ourselves up to harm. Understanding this syndrome helps me to make sense of “church hurt” because it is this very satanic energy that causes it. Bless you for shedding light on this darkness and revealing this destructive force.

Thank you for all the updates during the week and for helping me to understand and see the reality of the Judas Syndrome. It is sad to see how destructive the Judas Syndrome is, and I recognise how crucial it is to become more aware of how this syndrome plays out, so that we can protect ourselves and the Body of Christ from such attacks.

It requires a real commitment to Truth to choose wisely and to recognise who can be trusted and who cannot.

So, it has been a significant week in making these realisations, and I am praying for Christian Hacking to repent and to make right the wrongs he has done.

Thank you for this week of updates helping me and us to understand the life decimating impact of the Judas syndrome. Out of the 3237 individuals highlighted in the Bible, Jesus said of Judas that it would have been better for him to not been born. Phew – this syndrome needs to be understood in the Body of Christ

The Judas syndrome is an important element to look out for in building communities and relationships.
Experiencing it first hand and learning how to recognise it early are important lessons to learn and share.
May God bless Mr Hacking and us all.

Phew. Thanks to God and to everyone involved here, Paul especially. These lessons, the experiential case study of Christian Hacking for the Judas Syndrome has been critical for me. My perception is changing. My attitude toward government, to trust, to love, is maturing slowly through this process. I am feeling more how urgent this set of lessons is for the Body of Christ. Our brothers and sisters. Thank you. Mr Hacking is in my prayers and my concern. This has been painful and tragic but vital.

That comment/confession from Mr Hacking is extremely telling. But it does seem like the quiet part out loud here. Because that statement and his subsequent behaviour are not at all consistent. We have been, and certainly Paul has been, consistent. I weep for Mr Hacking and I pray he repents because to make his claims and then behave just like the evil mainstream media towards your supposed brothers and sisters in Christ is unacceptable.
