Lighthouse Daily – 24th April 2026..
Dear fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
This morning, we were alerted to the news that Christian Hacking has made another false and malicious claim about Lighthouse Global.
In a post to his subscribers, he claimed that Lighthouse have “mounted a defame and destroy campaign against me… most of all please pray that u [read: I] would be Godly, fair and gracious in my response”.
This reaction from Mr Hacking is not a surprise to us at Lighthouse. It is very indicative of the Judas Syndrome, where, after causing harm and damage himself, he, like so many others before him, is playing the victim instead of examining himself, accepting responsibility for his wrongs, repenting and seeking reconciliation.
Mr Hacking himself is in fact the one guilty of destruction, yet he either cannot or will not realise that; due to either militant ignorance, or a severe damage to his mental cognition, manifested in being unable to accurately interpret the facts of what we have published. In our experience, as we began to introduce in the first part of our investigation and case study, we have seen Mr Hacking ignore, neglect and dismiss facts that are crucial to any journalistic endeavour. He is blind, wilfully or not, to the damage and destruction he has already caused every Associate at Lighthouse, while still parading as a bastion of Christian brotherhood and support.
If Mr Hacking genuinely believes that we have defamed him, and that we are literally trying to destroy him, then we have one request: to prove it. If we have genuinely made any mistakes or wrongs, then we will absolutely correct them. The same thus far, cannot be said for Mr Hacking.
Our Response to Christian Hacking: Prayer, Live Debate Invitation & Correcting The Record
Our first port of call this morning was to pray together and pray for Christian Hacking.

Secondly, Paul is inviting Christian Hacking to a live, unedited debate to discuss the full and comprehensive facts regarding Lighthouse Global and whether or not we are a cult. If Mr Hacking believes he is standing on the truth, with accurate knowledge of that truth, then we would be eager to hear his response. We believe such an opportunity would be of immense benefit to the Body of Christ, to demonstrate true Christian brotherhood and spirited commitment to the truth, especially where that truth does not suit us.
Thirdly, we have a Christian duty to correct Mr Hacking’s latest reactive, immature and nonsensical lies and falsehoods presented in his statement today.

Again, we have, through much prayer, consideration and legal counsel, taken these measures to protect ourselves from being further damaged by any predatory journalist, whether they come in the name of Christ or not. There is a far greater issue here than one independent amateur journalist. There is a grave need to protect and alert the entire Body of Christ to the severe threats and dangers from within through the Judas Syndrome. As we have done throughout this week, we ask for your prayers not only for ourselves, but especially for Christian Hacking, for his family, for him to see clearly where he can correct his own wrongdoings, and above all, that God’s righteous and total glory through Jesus Christ, The Way, The Truth, The Life, would be revealed through this.

Lighthouse Weekly Update – Nov 2 2025 – Legal Developments and Judicial Accountability
I find myself thinking de-ja vu. I do pray for Christian Hacking and hope he looks inwards and reflects on the kindness shown to him. I am grateful for the positive words he gave me at court and it’s tragic there has been a 180 in his attitude.
This is a very tragic situation. I really hope that Christian Hacking can recognise the way he is digging more of a hole for himself and see the errors of his ways. There are huge, crucial lessons for the Body of Christ from this. Let’s see how he responds to this invitation. If he reacts like he has to similar ones before then it would reveal more of a woeful character. Thank you for doing this painstaking work.
Thank you very much for this update and for the comprehensive study and due diligence that has gone into examining and understanding the Judas Syndrome, not only in Mr Hacking but also within the wider Body of Christ.
As Gospel of Matthew 10:16 states: “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
This is a timely and urgent reminder and call to action for us all.

From what I recall (and now double-checked) I don’t remember Christian Hacking encouraging his readers to pray for us (or indeed anyone) through all his articles featuring us at Lighthouse Global. He didn’t encourage prayer for us when posing as a Christian brother and now he’s asking for people to pray for him whilst playing victim in a situation he’s orchestrated.
The irony is that we are praying for him, praying for him to open his eyes to look at what he’s doing, praying for him to repent and ultimately praying for God’s glory to be revealed through this situation.
Most certainly my eyes are being opened through learning from him as an ongoing example and case study of the Judas Syndrome.
Every journalist we have encountered so far, seems more interested in developing their career at the expense of other people’s lives, than reporting on the truth.
This is not what true journalism is about.
May God bless Mr Hacking and I pray that he prioritises the truth in his work and life.
Thank you for sharing the invitation to Mr Hacking to make his wrongs right, to repent, and to step forward for a live debate with Paul Waugh. He may call himself a Christian, but the way he has acted so far is not in Christ’s spirit. I pray that he recognises where he is wrong and that he has the humility to look within himself and to change.
Mr Hacking’s response is not a surprise and that is sadly one of the most damning things about this whole awful saga he has created and brought about for himself. He is behaving exactly as every non-Christian, anti-truth and generally anti-Christ person has done after talking baseless defamatory nonsense about Lighthouse, without the guts to face the scrutiny and accountability they ought to expect will come with that. Come on Christian, take responsibility and sort this out like an adult.
What Christian Hacking has and is doing is harming, not just for Lighthouse, but for him as well. He is not abiding by Christ’s commandments because he is not loving another brother; he is persecuting them. I continue to pray for him and his family…
The longer this goes on with Mr Hacking, the more disappointed I become. As if we haven’t had enough betrayal and being stabbed in the back. I really hope he takes up Paul’s offer of a live unedited debate — what a great opportunity to get everything out in the open and to calmly and rationally debate ideas and get facts straight. I will of course continue to pray for Mr Hacking and all involved.
I’m glad you’re addressing the accusation from Mr Hacking. Wokeism somehow finds a way to turn wrongdoing into victimhood. It’s too easy to say things online and present a point of view, as Mr Hacking is doing, but I’d wager a hefty sum that he won’t be able to back up his statements or insinuations. This is a way of protecting his image and reputation, but he must prove his suggestive claims if he has any integrity.
We pray Christian Hacking will look at the content of this page, at each link and can take responsibility for his actions, this did not have to be way and it’s not too late for him to correct the record and make things right. We pray he will 🙏
