We’ve been talking about a publication I’m putting forward called “Christians and the Establishment Problem.” We know that we are a danger to the establishment, and they are a danger to us. We are a danger to them simply by being:
- Loyal servants of Christ
- Loyal campaigners for what is right
- Loyal children of God
- Worshipping, serving warriors in Christ
We are not meant to be part of the self-serving, self-adoring, self-worshipping, self-glorifying establishment. Yet, by and large, that is what the establishment is.
How the Establishment Uses Us Against Each Other
From my observations and our research, something very striking has become clear: a lot of the time, the establishment does not have to do anything directly to us. They have indoctrinated the masses so deeply that we turn on each other.
That looks like this:
- Many citizens, including Christians, work “on their dollar” and effectively act against their own people, even while wishing the neighbour next door “Merry Christmas.”
- Others are not working for the establishment at all, yet are reeling under their burden—taxed to the teeth, crushed financially—still turning on each other rather than facing the real problem.
- The result is that we attack one another, while those who control the systems barely need to lift a finger.
I cannot stand apart from this and pretend I have never done it. I have. And if you have any concern for truth, reality, and honest memory, you will probably see that you have too.
This brings me to a far deeper and more personal question.
Who Are God’s True People?
In our age, people claim to be all sorts of things they are not:
- Men claiming to be women, women claiming to be men
- People claiming to be animals—cats, dogs, lions, zebras
This confusion is tragic and requires compassion, love, care, truth, and real help. But underneath all of that, the key question is:
Who is the true blue warrior in Christ? Who is the true blue Christian?
And the answer to that is bound up with one central test.
The Acid Test: How Much Truth Can I Handle?
The strongest, best characters—and most certainly true Christians—are measured by this:
How much truth can you handle?
Not just small, comfortable truths, but:
- The breadth of truth
- The depth of truth
- The heart and substance of truth
- Especially the inconvenient, painful, even terrible truths
That is the acid test of character. That is how we see who is truly moral, ethical, and in any genuine way a lover of God, righteousness, and what is good.
It starts at the foundation:
- Do I truly want a relationship with my Creator?
- Am I willing to face any truth that stands between me and that relationship?
- How much truth do I want when it exposes my pride, my hypocrisy, my blind spots?
I ask myself: Paul, how much truth can you handle? I know there are truths I want to walk away from, that I have tried to avoid, excuse, or ignore. I have been one of those who says, in effect, “I do not want to have this conversation” when the conversation cuts too close to the bone. And I know many who think they are 10 out of 10 on truth, but when it really counts, they are not even at 1.
This is the test of character in Christ: whether we keep going deeper into truth when it hurts, or whether we step back into comfort and denial.
When Conversation Is Not Worth Having
Now, I also want to be clear: there are conversations I simply will not have. Not because they are too hard, but because they are pointless.
If I realise I am dealing with someone who:
- Is not committed to truth at all
- Is wrapped up in a selfish, narcissistic, purely subjective worldview
- Is clinging to ideology, delusion, or illusion while loudly claiming “truth”
…then you cannot have a meaningful conversation with that person about anything. There is no shared ground of reality.
You see this in institutions as well. Take the BBC, for example. They present themselves as reliable, trustworthy, committed to truth. They once tried to have a sort of engagement with us on a road outside a court and quickly realised they did not want to repeat that.
If they were truly committed to truth, they would:
- Invite those they have attacked and misrepresented into the studio
- Hear the evidence
- Test what they have done in the light
- Either prove us wrong or be willing to repent publicly
But they will not. They cannot afford to. They are trying to cover up sin and corruption—Jimmy Savile, what they have done to Trump, what they have done to us and many others. You can play bravado for a time, but you cannot permanently cover up what is deeply false. Long term, truth will surface.
Our work at Lighthouse is to challenge these falsehoods and bring inevitable truth forward, especially for our brothers and sisters in Christ, so that they can see reality and not be blindsided.
Less Than 1% Truly Committed to Truth
Here is where the research and my experience converge, painfully:
Fewer than 1% of people are truly committed to truth.
This applies both inside and outside what calls itself the church.
Christianity is not a badge or a cultural label. It is:
- A relationship in Christ through His atonement
- A life lived under His love and lordship
- A daily walk in truth and reality
Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. He exists as truth, with truth, and for truth. His true, grown up children—His committed evangelists and warriors—are those who:
- Go after truth to the deepest depths and highest heights
- Want to get to the bottom of things where it is jugular and crucial
- Are willing to suffer to know and live by what is real
Henry David Thoreau said that for every thousand people playing with the leaves and branches of evil, there is only one striking at the root. I think he was being conservative. From where I stand, it looks more like one in 10,000 or 20,000.
At one stage, I looked at countries like India or China and wondered why there seemed to be so few visible Christians compared to places like the UK, America, or South Africa. I even wondered whether perhaps God had “elected” differently in those regions. But over time, I have realised something very sobering:
You can have 1.5 billion people calling themselves Christians and still have less than 1% who are truly committed to truth before God.
Whether you are parading under Hinduism in India, under a nationalistic Christian banner in the West, under Islam, or under atheism—if you are not committed to truth, the label does not matter. You may simply be white-labelling Christianity, or white-labelling whatever belief system you happen to wear.
So I ask: why go through all the difficulty of being “Christian” if you will not commit to truth in the first instance? Without truth, it is defeatist. It undermines the very heart of Christian faith.
The Cost of Avoiding Truth
The core problem we are exposing is this: people are not committed to truth, and therefore do not know reality. They are willfully blindsided.
When you are blindsided to reality because of a poor relationship with truth, you are extremely vulnerable. The pain of facing an inconvenient or even devastating truth is far less than the pain that hits you later when that truth arrives from the side, from behind, or straight in your face when you least expect it.
The whole world, and over 21 years of our research at Lighthouse, bears witness to this. You see it in individuals, in families, in churches, in companies, in nations.
There are no “truth nations” and “lie nations.” There are just human beings—overwhelmingly unwilling to suffer for truth. Whether in India under Hindu labels or in Western countries under Christian labels, the reality is the same: less than 1% are truth-committed, and most do not even know what truth really is.
Yet that is where freedom is found—in Christ, through atonement and truth. There is no way and no life without truth and reality.
This is why we cannot work with people, in any deep way, on their growth and development unless they are willing to commit to truth—to its breadth and depth—and are willing to suffer for it.
So I leave this challenge with you: Where, in your own life, are you truly committed to truth—and where are you not?

Father, thank You for this opportunity to come before You.
As I sit here surrounded by the beauty of Your creation, healing from illness, I thank You for Your love, care, and protection. Thank You for the gift of truth, for clarity of vision, and for the ability to live in reality — because only in truth can real value be built.
Any version of reality that is not truthful is not real. And anything unreal cannot produce life. Truth and reality are inseparable — they form the very core of what is. Only through truth, through Your Way, and through the Life You offer, is genuine value possible, and only there do we move toward Your Kingdom.
Father, I have come to see that among many, very few are truly willing to suffer for truth. Many claim it, perform it, or wear it outwardly — but when truth becomes costly, when it wounds pride or comfort, most turn away. This was true in Your time on earth. Even in a nation devoted to God, fewer than one percent truly followed You — and they crucified Your Son.
Thank You for granting us clarity to see this reality without fear. Thank You for calling us into truth regardless of the cost.
We ask You now to help us serve the vulnerable — to never say no where we ought to say yes. Never to abandon the widow, the orphan, the stranger, or even our enemy when they genuinely need help, including the help of truth.
With bowed heads and bended knees, we repent.
We thank You, and we ask all of this through Your Son,
Jesus Christ.

$93 Billion Vanishes in 76 Days in US Agencies
The Establishment — and those who front it, such as senior politicians — operate by double standards. This means one rule for them, and another, with far harsher consequences, for the citizens they control. One key area where this is most evident is finance. Members of the public are pursued relentlessly by tax authorities for relatively small sums, while those who squander billions appear to escape without consequence. This is yet another way the Establishment creates fear as a means of control.
This is why it is so important that we educate ourselves about stewarding our godly, human, material, and financial resources — and about understanding how these double standards are applied.

We are left simultaneously stunned, grieved, awakened, and stirred with urgency by what has been revealed. There is a shared sense of shock as we recognise how much has been deliberately stripped from us across generations — not merely information, but something intimate and foundational to our humanity. The realisation that even a small, withheld percentage of essential knowledge, skills, and awareness could have altered the entire trajectory of our lives evokes a deep sense of violation. It feels personal, systemic, and profoundly consequential, because what was denied was not trivial but primary.
What is becoming unmistakable is that the establishment’s central objective has never been purely political, economic, or material, but spiritual. By shaping and controlling who or what we worship — or by ensuring that worship is displaced, diluted, or fragmented — the establishment effectively seeks to control and determine our behaviour, value creation, and outcomes against us. When the top line is distorted, the bottom line also becomes distorted.. This explains why so many of us, and those before us, were never taught to prioritise our relationship with God, our character, or our inner formation. Instead, we were actively indoctrinated against it while false gods quietly took centre stage: worshipping those of achievement, acceptance, productivity, status, and survival.
We recognise now that this deprivation was not primarily the failure of our parents or communities, but the result of an intergenerational system designed to withhold and prevent foundational development. Seeing this removes misplaced shame and guilt, while also revealing the scale and intentionality of the problem. It explains why sincere believers can love God deeply yet struggle to live coherently, effectively, or fruitfully in the world. Scripture was never meant to replace human development, but to ground it in our very Source; the layers that ought to have been built through family, practice, discipline, and community were never given the opportunity, space, conditions and guidance to form.
What has struck us powerfully is the disproportionate impact of even a small recovery of what was lost. We see that a seemingly minor increase in the right kind of knowledge, skills, awareness, and spiritual alignment can produce major transformative change. Many of us can testify that while we have been unable to apply most of what we have learned, the small portion we have applied has already reshaped various aspects of our lives. This reveals both the tragedy of how much potential has been robbed, and the hope of how much remains recoverable.
Alongside this awakening, we are also becoming more honest about ourselves. There is a collective call inward — to watchfulness, humility, repentance, and sobriety. As we attempt to re-orient toward God, we notice resistance, disruption, discomfort, and exposure of darkness within us. It often feels messy and slow, like demolition before rebuilding. Some of us feel weaker, more irritated, or more aware of our attachments, rather than immediately stronger. Yet we recognise this as part of the process of healing and realignment, not a sign of failure.
We pray for perseverance, for integrity, and for the grace to walk this out daily, even in small increments. We see more clearly now that recovering what was denied is both a spiritual and human task, and that even modest faithfulness in the right direction can yield extraordinary fruit. Hi everyone,
As we reflect together, we recognise a shared thread running through all our responses: the real test of our faith is not what we profess, but how willing we are to face truth when it is painful, inconvenient, or destabilising. Again and again, we see that commitment to truth is inseparable from Christian character, and that it cannot be faked. Where truth hurts, our real loyalties are exposed.
Many of us are becoming more aware of how instinctively we avoid truth—sometimes consciously, sometimes automatically—because it rightfully threatens our delusions of comfort, our self-image, or the narratives we rely on to feel egoically safe. We see this avoidance in small acts of deflection and distraction, and in deeper patterns of denial, self-deception, fear of authority, or fear of condemnation. We acknowledge that this resistance is not merely intellectual but emotional, bodily, and spiritual, almost always rooted in conditioning, trauma, ego, and a fragile sense of identity.
At the same time, we are united in recognising that avoiding truth carries a far greater cost. While truth can wound in the short term, it heals, strengthens, and frees in the eternal long term. We see in our own lives that evasion leads to prolonged suffering, diminished vitality, broken relationships, loss of value, and spiritual stagnation. Several of us testify that growth, peace, and genuine freedom only began when we stopped running and allowed ourselves—often reluctantly—to stay present with what God was revealing to us.
We deeply appreciate the humility shown in acknowledging that no one, including our teachers, has a perfect relationship with truth. This honesty matters. It reassures us that this journey is one of degree, maturity, and willingness, not instant purity or moral superiority. We are sobered by the realisation that none of us can claim to be genuinely open to truth, yet we are challenged by the question of whether we are genuinely committed to working toward it, even when it costs us supposed comfort, reputation, relationships/attachments, or an “easier life.”
Across our reflections, we also see a growing clarity about the wider context we are in. We recognise how systems, institutions, and cultural norms make commitment to truth harder, not easier—often encouraging fear, division, self-deception, and horizontal conflict. We see how people, including Christians, are conditioned to turn on one another rather than confront falsehood at its source. This has sharpened our understanding that the real conflict is not merely external or political, but spiritual and internal: a struggle over allegiance, identity, and reality itself.
Our experiences with churches, families, institutions, and public narratives have left us both disillusioned and discerning. Some of us grieve the superficiality, performance, and selective morality we encounter, while also recognising our own participation in those same patterns. At the same time, we testify to moments of genuine brotherhood, humility, refinement, and love for Christ that give us hope and confirm that authenticity is possible, though rare.
We are struck by how closely truth is bound to identity. Many of us are only beginning to grasp what it means to be made in God’s image, to be free in Christ, and to live without constant self-condemnation or ego-defence. We see that our panic, shame, judgementalism, and fear arise not from truth itself, but from our attachment to false identities and distorted beliefs. As those attachments loosen—even slightly—we experience more courage, more grounded anger where appropriate, more compassion, and more clarity.
We also acknowledge that this path requires help. Counselling, community, prayer, scripture, and sustained guidance all matter. We cannot undo years of indoctrination, immaturity, or spiritual infancy by willpower alone. We need grace, patience, and mutual support as we learn to endure reality rather than escape it.
Ultimately, we agree that the defining question before us is not whether we say we want the truth, but what happens when we encounter it and disagree with it? That is where our faith is proven, our character is formed, and our freedom is either gained or lost. We are humbled by how far we still have to go, yet encouraged that every honest step toward truth—however small—strengthens both us and our community.
We remain grateful for the challenge, the love, and the unwavering insistence that truth matters more than comfort, image, or belonging. We pray for the willingness and strength to keep choosing truth, to help one another do the same, and to trust that, in Christ, what awaits on the other side of pain is not destruction, but life.

Thank you for this reminder that commitment to truth is the truest test of faith. I’ve found it incredibly hard to face certain truths about myself and situations in my life — especially when I realise they are the result of my own choices. Taking responsibility for these things is only possible through Christ and the support of His people. True growth comes when we face truth courageously and live faithfully before God.
This is an incredibly powerful test, because it’s an acid test. A genuine dedication to truth when it’s painful cannot be faked. I’m seeing in my own life and in the lives of others that this is when the character seeps through the cracks.
I was sharing with someone the other day about my experience of even getting to the stage where I would refer to myself as a Christian. When I told family members I cringed when they said, “Oh, you’re a Christian now?!?” Just hearing the name “Jesus” would be embarrassing and something I would avoid saying, writing or hearing. So I understand what Paul’s sharing here very well! Yet there’s a lot more depth and substance to Christianity and Christian faith than the name of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
It is damning and shameful that Catrin Nye and the BBC simply cannot have a live, real, unedited conversation. We offered them and all their sources the opportunity to do just that in case they worried they wouldn’t be able to do it on the BBC at the prime time we asked for. (I say that given some of the repeats are shown at 3am on Monday morning on BBC3).
We could give them all the questions in advance and ask them to bring all the evidence they supposedly have… in the same way that Paul asked to be interviewed. Why won’t they do it? Because they KNOW they’re on the wrong side of truth. Myself and others are being slurred for not knowing why I was on Lighthouse calls each day with Paul. Just because the likes of Jeffrey, ‘Erin’, Jo and Simon decided to (conveniently) forget why they were on calls, doesn’t mean the rest of us didn’t know. Now, each day the results of our research and the findings from these calls are being shared publicly for all learn about through audio recordings and articles. Now come the publications. Jeffrey and co all knew this and chose to lie under duress from their families, partners and friends…
Lastly it’s incredible that we’re accused of being fraudulent for a few bitter ex-clients not getting undue refunds (Richard Thomas was even offered a compassionate refund that he didn’t accept!) Meanwhile here we see close to $100 billion be thrown away by a government agency. This is yet another example of how the establishment has been hellbent on trying to destroy us.
This is such a huge message from Paul. What really stood out, was the how the highest character will face the truth where it hurts and not turn away. It’s not just, how much truth can you hold? But what about when it really hurts and doesn’t suit me? Sometimes that avoidance of truth happens in an instant without me realising like, no I don’t want to watch / read that so I’ll just skip right to something else. It’s an automatic reaction. Then other times it’s like, that’s too hard/painful to face and I don’t know how to accept it.
Recently by God’s mercy and grace I’ve been seeing that change relating to His Word and more so to Him. This last day or so though, I’ve been deliberately holding myself down and trying to look and see beyond my stories. It’s amazing how much value comes through just that willingness to hear God a little more, knowing it’s painful, like sitting and keeping my mouth open for the dentist even though I know he’s coming at me with a drill, it’s what I need.

Thank you Paul for this profound update. What stayed with me most strongly is the way you showed the real conflict in Christianity being our personal conflict over truth, not just power of Establishment institutions. The idea that we are a danger to the establishment simply by being loyal servants of Christ through being worshipping, serving, truth-seeking people clarified why pressure so often comes indirectly, through division and confusion, rather than through overt force. Your observation that the establishment often doesn’t need to act directly because we are conditioned to turn on one another felt painfully accurate as can be seen with all the fighting on X between Christians we witnessed a few years ago.
Truth is not easy to hear; if it were, we wouldn’t learn such critical life lessons or grow within ourselves.

Everyone says they have ‘the truth’ and that they want ‘the truth’ right up until the point when they disagree with it.
That is when being dedicated to the truth really counts and that is when I’ve learnt that it hurts the most, but also when the most personal growth comes from.
I’m very grateful to all those who have had the courage and lvoe to tell me the truth about myself and the world when so many have not.
This is such an important discussion. Too many people are lost but believe they are found, they believe they have found truth. When it comes to Christians, it is very sad to see that many are really on the dollar of Satan and do not even know it. Selling out all week for work and then prayer on Sunday is not going to cut it. Having truth will bring us back to how God made us, and back to genuine and real relationships. Thank you.…
Thank you for this update. I appreciate the focus on the importance of truth and the challenge of facing it honestly, even when it’s hard. To have an “acid test” for character development and learning to confront uncomfortable truth and to become more real is something that is incredibly hard but also crucial. It’s a useful reminder that growth often comes through wrestling with truth rather than avoiding it.
The current systems set up by the establishment make it really hard to see our potential and to regain control of our lives and it’s really important to see the reality of this. We’ve experienced that ourselves through all the lies and falsehoods published by the BBC and their documythary “A Very British Cult”.

I remember hearing Paulie sharing about being dedicated to truth and reality and I thought I understood what he meant but until I started to take my relationship with Christ seriously, I have truly started to see what this actually means…and also started to see that truly my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak. I didn’t come from a home environment where truth was honoured or respected but as Paul is showing us, we have a responsibility to the commitment to truth because without this, I cannot discern what is real and what is not….and that’s just what the establishment have facilitated and encouraged for generations. And now we have a world that believes it doesn’t know what a man or a woman is! Goodness! Christ is truth, His standards are truth and we must do everything possible to protect and appreciate our sacred relationship in and with Him. This is why these updates are indispensable. Not only is this update so powerfully true in such a humbling way, but it comes at such a pertinent time of year, when we are about to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah. God incarnate in flesh who’s very mission was to bring truth into this world of lies, delusion, illusion and falsehoods. God who came to bring light of truth into the darkness by humbling Himself and experiencing everything it means to be human; from being conceived in the womb and physically birthed, through to His suffering the worst possible torture, humiliation and death on the cross. And he chose to suffer that because of how much we, people, humanity that is, resist, deny, hide from, obscure, obfuscate, attack and even hate truth because of what the truth means to us and how it threatens to shatter our delusions. The Pharisees hated and wanted to crucify Christ because they hated the truth that He is. Not just the truth that He represents, but the truth that He actually is. Nothing about Him wasn’t real and true. They knew who He was but refused to accept that in their hearts and give up their own self importance and self righteousness and that same pharisaic spirit is probably more alive and prevalent in people today than it was in Jesus’ time.
I heard a Podcast recently speaking about how much today’s post #MeToo generations are tearing down figures of history and even seeking to rewrite long accepted history itself because they refuse to accept the factual nuances and ugly, uncomfortable truths of history and humanity. The historian was explaining how certain long accepted truths from the past have become so unbearably offensive to younger people today that they are violently rejecting them because these generations now have grown up in a world where they have been sanitised and infantilised from the dark truths of humanity and are living in a deluded virtue signalling narcissistic bubble.
We see the rejection and total unwillingness to engage in seeking, understanding and accepting objective truth in so many areas and places today in our society and at the same time it correlates with the massive breakdown and fragmentation in our society, instability and rife distrust of each other and our institutions. We are all paying the cost of denying and rejecting the truth that Paul is speaking of here. But the most important place for any of us to seek and accept truth is in the quiet chambers of our own souls because all that is happening in the world around us now is the direct result of where each and every one of us are in our own hearts and minds with this. If I and anyone of us want to suffer less and bring about more good things in our lives and those around us, it comes down to how much truth I and we are willing and working on being able to handle.
Thank you Paul for calling this out and working as hard as you do to help wake us up to this so we can do something about it and start to embrace truth more, despite how painful that can be.
The video of senator Kennedy! Astounding but not surprising! This is the degree to which the establishment know they are able to steal and cheat from the public because there isn’t enough accountability and resistance to them. It’s time for us all to change that!
