1. Today’s Update
Good day everyone,
The brilliant inaugural issue of The Lighthouse will be published in the next couple of weeks, God willing, and we are so grateful to our Lord that we are now able to begin sharing the culmination of more than two decades of research that is finally coming to fruition. What you are reading here is less than 1% of that work. There is a great deal we are deliberately holding back and not sharing in these articles, because it needs to be given the prominence and the platform it deserves in The Lighthouse itself.

3. Today’s Daily “Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem” Example
A Warning: How the Establishment Is Crushing Free Speech by Stealth
What is happening to Lucy Connolly should concern anyone who still believes free speech exists in Britain; as we have previously reported, Ms Connolly had previously served a 31 month prison sentence for a social media post written in anger against illegal immigrants and then taken down after 15 minutes. At Lighthouse we are the first to acknowledge that this post was wrong and do not condone its contents.
Yet in this latest situation in the video below, Ms Connolly is not accused of violence. She is not accused of threatening anyone. She did not write the post in question. Her “offence” was resharing a political joke on social media, a satirical tweet that someone else interpreted, or deliberately misrepresented, as “inciting violence.” For this, she now faces the possibility of being returned to prison.
Her probation officer is actively patrolling her social media, scrutinising jokes, retweets, and political commentary. A warning letter has already been issued to her. The message is unmistakable: say the wrong thing, even unintentionally, and you could lose your freedom. This is how free speech is being attacked and weaponised, not with outright bans, but with vague rules, constant surveillance, and fear.
Ms Connolly describes a system where she does not know what she is allowed to say. There is no clear line between humour and “incitement,” no distinction between original speech and resharing content, no allowance for satire or political commentary. Everything is subjective, and that subjectivity gives enormous power to the state and Establishment. When speech rules are unclear, enforcement becomes arbitrary. And arbitrary enforcement is the enemy of liberty.
This is not about one individual. Ms Connolly’s case exposes a wider truth: free speech now exists only at the pleasure of the Establishment. For those under probation, licence, or state supervision, speech is effectively conditional. One complaint, one misinterpretation, one politically motivated report can trigger investigation, punishment, or imprisonment. That should terrify us.
The concept of “incitement” has been stretched beyond recognition. Jokes are treated as threats. Satire is treated as intent. Political humour is treated as danger. Meanwhile, those enforcing these standards face no consequences for overreach.
This creates a society where silence is safer than speech, conformity is rewarded, and dissent is quietly criminalised. Probation is meant to support reintegration into society, not to function as a permanent speech control mechanism. Yet what Ms Connolly describes here is a digital parole state, where her past conviction becomes a lifelong excuse for surveillance and suppression. Today it is someone on probation. Tomorrow it is anyone deemed “problematic.” Could that be you? Your family?
This is how the Establishment tightens control without ever admitting it is doing so. Free speech is not abolished. It is continually redefined. It is weaponised against the individual while remaining flexible for those in power.
If jokes can be treated as violence, if retweets can be treated as crimes, and if uncertainty itself becomes grounds for punishment, then free speech no longer exists in any meaningful sense.
This is not about protecting public safety. It is about unlawfully enforcing obedience. And once a society accepts that speech must be constantly policed “just in case,” it has already surrendered the very freedom it claims to defend. This dangerously pits citizens against one another, desperate for survival at whatever cost. It means constantly watching your back instead of watching each other’s. It is so important that citizens learn their rights and ways to protect themselves. Learn to protect yourself and your loved ones, through good counsel around you.

4. Lighthouse Associates Consensus Feedback
The following is an excerpt from feedback that was shared with Paul by Lighthouse associates following a call with them yesterday.
We are feeling deeply thankful for the care, patience, and clarity that Paulie continues to offer us, and aware that what we are being given is far more than information; it is a re-education that is slowly reshaping how we see ourselves, our faith, our work, and the world we are living in. As we reflect on everything that has unfolded over recent months — the wider events, the calls, the conversations, and our own personal situations — we can sense how much we are learning about discernment, allegiance, purpose, and boundaries, and how necessary it is for us to become more thoughtful about where we place our time, our trust, and our attention. This is not out of fear, but out of respect for what God is building in us and through us. We are becoming increasingly aware of how limited our earlier understanding was, how easily we accepted systems, institutions, and roles without questioning their spirit or direction, and how much of our growth was restricted by education that never truly taught us who we are or what we were born to become. Now, we are beginning to see value, responsibility, and creativity in a far clearer light.
What stands out most strongly is the reminder that loving people and caring about truth does not require us to make ourselves endlessly available, to explain ourselves to those who are not ready or willing to listen, or to keep giving access to those who have not shown the depth of character or integrity that our work and our family here deserve. In this, we are grateful for the example we are being shown of how to protect what matters without losing compassion. We feel encouraged to grow in confidence, to speak more honestly about who we are, to hold our faith with greater steadiness, and to recognise that many who carry titles or influence are still searching for the very understanding we are only just beginning to grasp ourselves. At the same time, we are grateful for the environment we are working in and the responsibility that comes with challenging powerful narratives, while taking comfort in knowing that our lives and our future remain in God’s hands, and that whatever lies ahead will only be permitted by His will.
Above all, we feel a growing sense of unity and purpose, a renewed belief in the value of The Lighthouse and in the quiet work being done to restore families as God intended them to be, nurture faith, and help others rediscover their dignity and potential. We leave these reflections with gratitude, humility about how much we still have to learn, and a deeper commitment to live with intention, courage, and care for one another, trusting that God is guiding us step by step into something far greater than we yet understand.

This article has sharpened our understanding of how systems that present themselves as neutral, progressive, or benevolent can in fact exert subtle but pervasive control over how people think, judge, and comply. We’re recognising that what we once internalised as personal failure or confusion often developed within institutions that reward conformity and punish moral clarity. Seeing this more clearly is unsettling, but it also brings responsibility: to think more rigorously, resist outsourcing our judgment, and allow faith in Christ to reframe power, truth, and human dignity beyond institutional narratives. x x
What! I would expect what is happening to Lucy Connolly to happen in a communist or fascist country with complete state control. This is like Minority Report, thoughts and non violence inciting speech leading to arrest. And what a waste of resources..again!
This is wild, Ms Connolly is having her tweets monitored and she can’t even share someone else’s words? This seems to me like another test by the Establishment to me, to see how far they can go and how much fear they can intimidate in the everyday man and woman. Yes, we ought to be responsible for what we share and the words we use. But to turn ordinary speech into a crime is something I never thought I would see here in the UK, but here we are. When individuals can be targetted, they send a message to the masses. But this is why developing communities, support groups, and strategic networks is so vital, for every citizen to be part of, because it means we can genuinely support one another. Not to be anti-establishment, but to be safe and secure, without fear of being targetted. We’ve seen that when individuals have influence, reach and resources, they are far harder for the establishment to attack. God bless you Ms Connolly. Look out for The Lighthouse.
I remember a reading not too long ago that the UK was pretty similar to North Korea in its tyranny and oppression. I considered that quite an exaggeration, but now I watch a video like this one featuring Lucy Connolly and I see my naivety at play once again. I can see how the vagueness of the licence conditions and unpredictability of probation meetings means that the likely outcome is one of self-censorship. This is how the Establishment exercises control…

There is so much in law that is undefined and the meaning of words abused for the agenda of whoever is in power at the time. ‘in the public interest’ is a phrase, a shield, the BBC uses to basically say whatever they want and to invade a person’s private life with actions that if it were anyone else, they would be arrested.
Here again, the state is using vague terms and definitions, in order to decide who goes to prison and who can say whatever they want.
Absolutely flipping mental how they’re trying to utterly gag Lucy Connolly. Bless her — even her original post was removed quickly, and she’s said she’s put that aside, but this is still absolutely crazy. The fact that people are spending their time complaining to her probation officers, saying they’re “offended”, is wild. It just shows there are people who have either taken it upon themselves, or have been tasked, with watching her feed and trying to send her back to prison.
And anyone saying the solution is for her to stay off social media is completely missing the point — it’s her right to speak. She spoke before about feeling like she was being used as an example, like a political prisoner under Starmer, or something to that effect, and honestly this just proves it.
What is happening to Lucy Connolly and what that represents is outrageous! Why is it that the establishment want to control speech as much as they do? Because speech communicates ideas, it causes people to ask questions and enables people to challenge ideas, it facilitates debate and empowers critical thinking. We are increasingly living in a 1984 society, and when “silence is safer than speech” we can know we are living in a state of tyranny.
I pray for Lucy and what is happening to her, I pray she gets good legal Council. What is happening to her is happening to many others, many we don’t know about. So many things have been changed by the establishment, what we can and can’t say, all comes back to control.

it’s all about control how they don’t have clear line to what is okay to share or not, that intentional. They want to people to so scared they don’t share, they just wait to be told what to do, where to go. Once you start seeing it, you can’t unsee it. We’re living in dark times…
The level of control exercised by the establishment and its organisations is something I previously associated only with countries under dictatorships. What happened to Lucy Connolly is shocking. When our thoughts are being controlled, and when people are arrested for posting or even reposting messages, then something is fundamentally wrong. God bless Lucy Connolly. It is crucial that we come together to protect our freedoms and our humanness.
