Good day everyone,
A brief moment on live BBC News tells a much larger story. When a young rapper was asked to name his hero and answered, simply, “Jesus Christ,” the visible discomfort that followed was immediate and unmistakable. That reaction did not stand alone. It reflects a wider pattern in how serious Christianity is treated across British media, particularly by the BBC.
This article traces that pattern from small, revealing gestures to full-scale editorial decisions, examining how Christianity is repeatedly framed as something suspect, regressive, or psychologically troubling when it involves repentance, moral boundaries, or real allegiance to Christ. It connects that instinctive recoil to the BBC’s portrayal of Lighthouse Global in A Very British Cult, where Christian language, discipleship, and healing were stripped of context and recast as dangerous.
Alongside Scripture and wider media analysis, this piece explores why institutions built on image-management and control so often bristle when faith is lived plainly and spoken aloud.

3. Today’s Daily “Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem” Example
A Warning: How the Establishment Turned Truth Into Heresy
We are living through a moment of profound political and cultural disorder, and it did not arise by accident. One of the clearest signs of this breakdown is something that should trouble everyone who cares about truth, regardless of politics: truth itself is now treated as a partisan weapon.
As journalist Melanie Phillips observes, to state certain basic truths today is to risk being branded “right-wing”, a label that is no longer descriptive but moral. Once applied, Ms Phillips states this immediately places the speaker “in league with the forces of evil.” This is how debate is shut down without argument. Lies are not disproved; The result is fear, silence, and intellectual conformity based upon being scared of being mislabelled by the mainstream media. This is not organic political disagreement. It is engineered chaos by the Establishment.
The Establishment has fostered an environment where entire sections of society are told they are morally illegitimate. Ordinary people sense that something is wrong about borders, crime, identity, biology, history but they are warned that even asking questions places them beyond the moral pale. This deliberate narrowing of acceptable thought fuels anger, resentment, and polarisation, while those who designed the system remain insulated from its effects.
Ms Phillips argues that nowhere is this more damaging than in education.Schools and universities were once meant to pass on culture, accumulated wisdom, and shared reference points from one generation to the next. Instead, education has been repurposed as a tool to dismantle culture itself. Students are taught that the civilisation they inherited is fundamentally illegitimate racist, colonialist, oppressive and must therefore be overturned rather than understood.
This is not education; it is indoctrination by destabilisation. When young people are denied honest discussion, they receive biased information and a lack of wisdom. Knowledge becomes disconnected from rational judgment. Facts exist, but they are filtered through ideology to distort them. Critical thinking is praised in theory and punished in practice.
A society that cannot speak plainly cannot govern itself. A population trained to see “right-wing” as synonymous with evil will accept censorship, exclusion, and institutional bias as moral necessities. Meanwhile, those in power exploit the resulting confusion, presenting themselves as arbiters of truth while quietly shaping the rules to their own advantage.
This is the real danger: when truth is politicised, education is weaponised, and dissent is moralised, democracy becomes theatre and freedom becomes conditional. If this trajectory continues, the next generation will inherit not wisdom, but resentment and confusion and the Establishment that thrives on both.
4. Lighthouse Associates Consensus Feedback
The following is an excerpt from feedback that was shared with Paul by Lighthouse associates following a call with them yesterday.
Over these last few days, and especially through the most recent call, we feel something has shifted in how we understand ourselves, our development, and what has really been missing beneath the surface of struggles we’ve carried for years. What Paulie has been sharing hasn’t just given us new ideas, but a way of recognising why life has so often felt confusing, heavy, or stuck even when we genuinely wanted to grow and do better. We can see now that agreeing in theory that we lacked good foundations is very different from understanding what that lack has cost us — in our thinking, relationships, health, confidence, perseverance, and even our sense of what we’re capable of becoming.
Learning to see human development through the language of seeds has been especially powerful. It’s helping us understand that many qualities we long for are not simply skills we can switch on, but beginnings that either were never planted, were not cared for, or never had the conditions to grow. Without those beginnings, much of what comes later cannot take root in a stable way. Love, trust, perseverance, empathy, curiosity, and even our capacity to suffer meaningfully are not just attitudes we choose, but parts of us that needed time, guidance, and example to develop. Where that didn’t happen, we’ve been trying to build on ground that was never properly prepared.
The distinctions between what is elemental, fundamental, and essential have slowed us down in a good way. We can see how easily we’ve used language that sounded right without understanding it, and how that vagueness kept us operating at the surface instead of engaging with what is most basic and necessary in our inner lives. Some things matter in certain situations, but other things matter simply because we are human — they aren’t optional or dependent on circumstances, even if they were never supported in us growing up.
We’re also understanding deprivation more deeply, not only in what we didn’t receive, but in how that absence shaped how we coped, protected ourselves, related to others, and interpreted love. This helps make sense of behaviours in ourselves and our families that never matched our intentions or hopes. Seeing that people can genuinely believe they are acting with care while still causing harm has helped us hold truth and compassion together, recognising that damage doesn’t require deliberate cruelty, only missing inner resources that were never developed.
At the same time, this understanding hasn’t left us feeling pressured to fix everything at once. We’re beginning to see that growth doesn’t come from forcing outcomes, but from tending first to what is most essential — nurturing the elementals and allowing development to unfold in the right order. This has lifted pressure and replaced it with something steadier, where the focus is less on rushing ahead and more on caring for what should have been cared for much earlier.
Above all, we feel deeply grateful — not only for the teaching, but for how this has helped us sense our worth to God in a more real and lived way. Not just as something we agree with, but as something that makes sense when we understand how much care, patience, and intention human growth truly requires. Knowing that Christ is not only our example but the source of new life for what has remained undeveloped in us gives us hope that we are not limited by our past, and that what has been dormant does not have to stay that way.
We know we are still at the beginning of understanding all of this, with much still to process and integrate into daily life, but it is already changing how we see ourselves, others, and the path forward. We are deeply thankful for Paulie’s patience, clarity, and care, and for how this work keeps pointing us back to God’s purpose for human life — not merely survival or coping, but growth, service, contribution, and becoming what He intended us to be.

It is damning how slowly but surely truth has become demonised as a reality. It’s gone from “the truth hurts” making it out to be something that’s painful and used with caution to something that offensive and evil. Whilst there are circumstances where it requires wisdom and discernment to withhold truth (eg not telling a recovering crash survivor that his family were killed in the incident), the expression of inalienable truths is now deemed as something to be avoided and even punished for. This is why we’re seeing people in the UK being arrested and sentenced for social media posts or Christians praying in public.
The story of the BBC presenter expressing shock at Jesus Christ being mentioned as a young man’s hero is an example of how the truth of Christianity is being attacked more and more overtly. The Body of Christ needs to unite and come together…
Wow, Melanie Phillips said it! Truth itself is considered right-wing, even racist. The very fabric of life? This is an aggressive assault on the very human makeup made by God! Even if you don’t personally believe in God, to deny that truth is real, objective and self evident (which is a truth-claim itself) is beyond absurd and proof, that the Establishment are pushing things so far to warp the elemental basis of what makes us human. No wonder, this puts so many in such a dire, diabolical state that they would need very firm control and order… from the Establishment itself – no surprises if that is done through A.I. I never thought I would see this country fall to such indoctrination, because I did not learn the healthy expectations of this world that the Bible clearly provides. I know to expect this now, as Paul has shared before, the framing of the Bible means that while abhorrent, this is not a surprise. God have mercy on us.
Telling the truth can cost us our freedom. Speaking up about anything that goes against the establishment can result in time in prison and be a criminal record.
Teachers in schools are being arrested because they continue to call our children boys and girls. This is now a crime!
What the biggest crime is that it’s Christian’s who refusing to acknowledge transgenderism. They get a longer sentence than someone who has attacked and abused a child.
The truth hurts the establishment because it’s revealing how they have maliciously kept us from growing and developing ourselves and speaking the truth.
Incredible update, especially in light of the recent BBC presenter, whose reaction alone revealed the true colours of the BBC. Melanie Phillips’ insights are fascinating, particularly when you consider the full landscape of how education has changed — what it was originally intended for versus what it has actually become. We are experiencing engineered disorder in society, in which truth is treated as a partisan weapon, silencing debate through moral labelling rather than reason. We see the reality how we’re discouraged to ask questions, while the next generation doesn’t get wisdom passed down but an undermind herited culture. Our freedom narrows as truth is politicised and democracy is reduced to performance rather than genuine self-government. What a future we have in front of us. This real take is priceless!
This exposes just how distorted and manipulated the fabric of our society has become. When standing for truth is automatically branded “far-right” it should force us to ask serious questions about the kind of society we want to live in. Melanie Phillips is exactly right: this is how debate is strangled at its root, not by reason, but by moral labelling. It reveals an establishment less interested in truth than in controlling what people are permitted to think and say.

Yes the truth often hurts, and reality is hard to understand, but we have a choice; either learn and accept reality or we will break ourselves against it.
Thank you for the piece on Melanie Phillips. She is absolutely spot on with that distinction! I’ve best heard this described as an old High School debating tactic that the establishment are using to control and manipulate the masses. That tactic is ‘those who control the terms, win the debate’ and what the establishment are doing by redefining the terms of what truth is and demonising it in order to create a new idea of what is right and true that’s not based in reality, but which enables them to operate their narratives and agenda. We mustn’t allow them to control the terms like this because the moment we try to argue with them based on their terms, they are in control and we are no longer talking about reality. We must hold them accountable to what is true, regardless of right wing, left wing or no wings. It’s about truth and reality and what is evident, logical and provable. Saying that men can’t get pregnant, as one example, doesn’t make anyone ‘far right’, it means they haven’t gone mad through woke indoctrination.
I’ve heard people call others right wing in such a flippant way, where the word is like terrorism-synonymous, but treated with the unacceptable flippancy of describing anyone that doesn’t prescribe to the same ideology. It’s absolutely crazy. Thank you for the update. God bless everyone.

This 35 second clip describes the insanity we are now raising children in. Truth is truth, there are no subjective versions of truth that we can pick and choose when we like… truth is objective, truth can be tested and truth can be uncomfortable and this is why deluded people have grabbed on to the satanic agenda in place to confuse humanity into believing they can “create their own reality.” Now, we have children growing up in a world where people actually believe there are over 70 “gender identities!” This is what happens when objectivity and reality is demonised and questioned without wisdom and an intention to root in truth.
