Lighthouse Daily – 20th September 2026…
Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today’s update introduces God Help You Catrin Nye Commentary, a new series drawing out the key distinctions in Paul S. Waugh’s continuing open letters to Catrin Nye — and building upon them throughout this week.
Paul’s opening letter establishes the breadth of the crisis. This commentary series will slow the argument down, take its central distinctions one by one and ask what they mean for every citizen living under the power of modern institutions.
This is not a substitute for the letters. It is a companion to them: a way of examining the human, moral, Christian and institutional realities they bring before us.
1. The Christian Standard: Each of Us Must Answer
“So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” — Romans 14:12 (NIV)
An institution cannot investigate, write, edit, accuse, omit, broadcast or refuse correction by itself. Human beings make those decisions.
Yet institutional power often allows personal responsibility to disappear behind collective language. The journalist was doing a job. The producer followed a process. The editor relied on legal advice. The executive trusted the team. The audience believed a respected broadcaster.
Everyone participated, but somehow nobody is responsible for the human life left beneath the machinery.
Christ’s standard allows no such hiding place.
Each of us must answer for what we choose, repeat, conceal, enable and do. That standard applies to Lighthouse Global before it applies to anyone else. We cannot hide behind Lighthouse. Nor can journalists, producers and executives hide behind the BBC.
Institutional responsibility and personal responsibility run together. Neither cancels the other.
2. Introducing God Help You Catrin Nye Commentary
Paul explained the opening letter was laying down the base: the main issues from which shorter and more focused letters and commentary would follow. He described the letters as a continuing public archive that would expose the distinct components of the BBC’s Life Destruction and keep building the record until the problem is solved.[1]
God Help You Catrin Nye Commentary begins today with:
God Help You Catrin Nye Commentary: Part One — When Citizens Sacrifice Citizens — Catrin Nye, the BBC and Personal Responsibility for Life Destruction
The article examines a foundational distinction: an institution may multiply the reach of diabolical Life Destruction, but it does not erase the personal choices beneath it.
It asks what happens when another human being’s reputation, identity, credibility, livelihood, relationships, health and future possibility become expendable in service of a preferred narrative. It also asks what happens when an audience accepts that narrative, repeats it and helps carry its consequences into ordinary life.
This is why the reader is not merely a spectator. Public Life Destruction depends on citizens willing to condemn without hearing, repeat without verifying and trust institutional authority without asking what evidence was excluded.

3. Throughout This Week: Drawing Out the Distinctions
This week, we will share further commentary developing the key distinctions contained within Paul’s letters.
We will distinguish:
- institutional power from individual moral responsibility;
- an honest mistake from conduct that continues despite contrary evidence;
- a nominal right to reply from a meaningful and properly resourced opportunity to answer;
- public curiosity from genuine public interest;
- raw human pain from malice;
- peaceful accountability from harassment or revenge;
- institutional authority from truth;
- correction of the public record from personal retaliation;
- and public spectatorship from the responsibility each citizen carries when another life is placed before them for judgement.
These distinctions are significant because propaganda survives by collapsing realities that must be kept separate. It presents accusation as proof, authority as truth, process as fairness and public destruction as public service.
The commentary will take these confusions apart carefully and build upon what Paul has placed on the public record. Its purpose is not only to examine what the BBC did to Lighthouse Global. It is to help Christian and secular citizens recognise how diabolical Life Destruction works, what personal responsibility requires and how we can resist becoming participants in the destruction of another human life.
Before accepting the next institutionally manufactured identity placed before you, ask:
- What evidence have I not seen?
- Has the person received a meaningful opportunity to answer?
- Am I responding to a human being — or to a character constructed for me?
- What responsibility will I carry if I help spread the destruction?
The series begins with the truth that none of us can hide.
God bless,
Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash and Shaun Cooper
Given Paul’s longstanding ill health resulting from the multiple Establishment attacks on him, these daily updates are generated by the team, drawing from Paul’s recent and earlier words and what we are working with here at Lighthouse. We ask you to keep him in your prayers as he builds strength and renews in our Lord.

I’m valuing the way that we’ll be breaking down the open letter to Catrin Nye for all to appreciate the full depth of what has been written and shared with Catrin Nye. It certainly is not all about her. The subject of Life Destruction is, however, a huge one to be discovered and understood…
Thank you for the commentary on the commentary. This is such a complex issue with so much background- the key point that people can’t behind their organisations and “they are just doing a job” is vital.
Thank you for this additional depth around the letter to Catrin Nye and for adding more posts around it. What stood out to me is the importance of taking individual responsibility, independent of our position or role, and not hiding behind institutional walls. This is exactly what the Establishment does: They hide behind their demonic systems.
Something that is hitting me much more, is that we are all completely accountable to God, through answering to Jesus Christ;
“I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak.” (Matthew 12:36)
Another powerful update. The truth is, by its very nature, illuminating, and that is precisely why nothing can remain hidden from it. Thank you, and God bless. 🙏
Thank you for so powerfully bringing Christ’s standard into the forefront and centre of our outlooks, as well as looking into ourselves.
What is being made evident is how critical it is we understand what life destruction means and how it’s playing out in our lives right now. By saying nothing we increase the severity of life destruction, speaking up we can and will fight, with Christ, against the life destructors…
Wow, the questions that we all need to ask before accepting the next institutionally manufactured identity placed before us, are powerful. These are the kinds of questions the Establishment do not want us asking!
We all stand before Christ, and that standard shows me how important it is to be willing to have conversations, no matter how challenging or uncomfortable they are.
As Jordan Peterson said, “In order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive.” He made that point during a discussion about free speech and difficult dialogue.
Difficult conversations should not be avoided simply because they are painful. I would rather risk offending someone, or have an uncomfortable conversation, if it meant there was a genuine opportunity to resolve things, than stand before God knowing I hadn’t done everything I believed I could to seek reconciliation.
So why aren’t the BBC doing that? Why have they never even tried?
The BBC is an institution I used to trust, because I thought it did the work and asked the questions outlines above, on my behalf. Now I understand that it doesn’t do any of this due diligence to the truth and fairness to all parties involved in any of it’s programming. In fact if it operated like it does in any other industry, it would be shut down by the regulator or professional body!
Greatly update thank you. How you’re dealing with these complex issue is brilliant. Keep the pioneering up, society deeply needs it.
