1. Today’s Update
Greetings to you on our Lord’s Day,
As we go into a new month, we look back at what has been a powerful start to 2026 for us at Lighthouse—articles full of wisdom and distinctions, culminating in the release of the cover of the inaugural edition of The Lighthouse magazine yesterday. This is a truly momentous time for us, after all that we have weathered as a community by the grace of God and all the research into our God-given potential that we have been determined to continue despite massive opposition from the establishment and their murderous attempts to destroy us.
We will keep today’s update very brief, therefore, as there has been much that we have already shared and much we are working on with the inaugural edition of The Lighthouse. Today, we wish to draw your attention both to yesterday’s update, if you haven’t yet seen the cover of the inaugural edition of The Lighthouse, and also to section 3 of this update. This section highlights just one facet of the ways in which the establishment has chronically and systematically desecrated us as human beings by deliberately restricting the realisation of our God-given potential. This is an evil which impacts every citizen globally.
We are now at a precipice point where The Lighthouse magazine will be needed as a beacon in the darkness of global, totalitarian establishment control and propaganda—to expose what must be exposed and for the truth to shine so brightly that it is undeniable and can never be unseen. It’s also needed so that communities and the Body of Christ never feel disempowered to live their God-given potential ever again, never saying no where they ought to say yes.

Today’s prayer centres on the freedom that comes from growing in truth, maturity, and dependence on God. It reflects a deep gratitude for the way God forms His people for purpose, service, and spiritual strength. 3. Today’s Daily “Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem” Example
Technology Is Destroying Children’s Cognitive Ability In Order To Comply With The Establishment
What if the steady decline in children’s cognitive ability wasn’t an accident, but a deliberate feature of the Establishment’s totalitarian system we’ve quietly accepted?
Dr Jared Cooney Horvath, a neuroscientist who specialises in cognitive development says in this video that there is a growing body of evidence now showing that today’s children, particularly Gen Z, are the first generation in modern history to perform worse than their parents on basic cognitive measures. Attention, memory, literacy, numeracy, executive function, even general reasoning ability are all down. This collapse began around 2010, precisely when digital technology flooded classrooms under the banner of “progress,” “modernisation,” and “future skills.”
We are told this is about preparing children for the modern workforce. But listen carefully to what that really means. It does not mean developing independent thinkers, innovators, or builders of value. It means training compliant operators people comfortable with screens, instructions, workflows, and constant monitoring. People who skim read rather than think deeply. People who consume computer prompts rather than generate ideas.
Across dozens of countries, once schools adopt widespread digital learning, performance falls. The more screen-based “learning” children do, the worse they perform. This isn’t because teachers aren’t trained enough or because the software isn’t good enough. The problem is far more fundamental. Human beings did not evolve to learn from screens. We developed to learn from other human beings through conversation, imitation, challenge, struggle, and sustained attention. Screens short-circuit that process.
This is not neutral. It produces a very specific kind of adult. Someone less capable of deep focus and independent judgment and who is far less able to challenge authority or construct original ideas. Someone trained to fit into systems rather than question them. Perfectly employable. Easily managed.
The establishment speaks endlessly about “skills” and “employability,” but rarely about wisdom, creativity, or value creation. That omission matters.
The real danger is not that children are using screens. It’s that an entire generation is being quietly conditioned to accept total control by the Establishment. If education is reduced to training, and children are treated as future units of labour rather than developing human beings, the outcome is inevitable. Fewer innovators. Fewer challengers. Fewer builders of real value. More followers. A population trained to follow processes will always be easier to control than one trained to think. A workforce optimised for obedience will never threaten entrenched power in the way a population of independent, critical, imaginative thinkers might. 4. Lighthouse Associates Consensus Feedback
The following is an excerpt from feedback that was shared with Paul by Lighthouse associates following a call with them yesterday. The call highlighted John 13:35 as a central tenet to one’s attitude and heart condition.
We cannot do this on our own. We cannot manufacture love, heal our hearts, or transform our character by effort alone. But we can stop pretending. We can confess, take responsibility, and turn back to Christ — not as an abstract idea, but as a living relationship that must shape how we show up in the smallest, most ordinary moments. This call has made it clear that our work, our witness, and our future together depend on whether love truly exists among us — not in words, but in action, care, attention, courage, and truth. Thank you for this update. Hearing Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath speak about the decline in cognitive abilities in this generation makes it clear that we are at a critical turning point, and that we urgently need to rethink how we educate our children. This is precisely why The Lighthouse magazine and circular are so needed, to shine light into areas of society that have long been neglected and to help protect the next generation. I pray for God’s protection and guidance 🙏
It is no accident that children are literally being dumbed down, made to be more useless, more blindly compliant. It’s an abomination against humanity. It grieves me to know how there is systemised infantilisation and indoctrination of children and parents. God bless and help them. Thank God for The Lighthouse, Paul and all of the blessed team.
It is a massive danger to our global society if the cognitive ability of children is less than that of their parents. A declining ability means the world they inherit cannot be maintained, let alone improved.
This is a serious call to action and prayer.
Again, there is more evidence that the establishment is not oriented towards the optimal empowerment of the people. It is oriented towards maintaining and increasing their power and control over the masses. How is it that generations are regressing if that does bother prove the system is designed for that? As Abraham Lincoln said, if you want to know a person’s character, give them power and so what is the character of those in power who are overseeing this degeneration in our youngest generation!?
Wow, God bless Dr Jared Cooney Horvath. Incredible research which has such damning data results. God bless and help our children growing up in this day and age. The Lighthouse is being formed as a beacon of hope, how many parents could learn from this and teach their children in turn. There needs to be radical change and I appreciate Dr Horvath and many like him in doing discovery and research and Lighthouse Global in the pioneering research we have and are undertaking, primarily from Paul. I remember seeing a huge amount of hype around ‘EdTech’ from around 2010. Now fast-forward more than a decade and look what we have! It is a disgrace what the establishment is doing to our children. I’ve heard parents say they don’t want their adult children to have children because of the way the whole establishment system is set up.
Not only do we have an education system that’s failing to equip children with the academic basics, but we have a culture that promotes just about every sin conceivable. Meanwhile it all serves as a distraction from the very reason we even exist… not some dude in a cloud, but the ultimate cause of the world we live in, God.
The decline in cognitive ability in our children is a warning sign of what is to come. We are supposed to be helping our children improve and better themselves, to become better than we are, yet that is not the case.
The establishment does not want a generation of thinkers; they want a generation of automatons, of puppets. They want people who will not challenge them but will take what they say and do it without question.

God help our children; it is difficult to put into words what I felt when I heard what has happened to this generation of children. If anyone was to doubt the satanic influence and agenda of the establishment, you only need to look at the spiritual, cognitive, psychological, emotional desecration of humanity, namely as we are seeing, Generation Z.
I pray for as many parents as possible to get the upcoming copies of The Lighthouse, for themselves first, and to help them mentor, coach and counsel their children because the establishment will clearly stop at nothing to maintain total control over the God-given potential of humanity and our children are the most susceptible and vulnerable.
Honestly, seeing how dark this world is, I wasn’t surprised that Gen Z isn’t out performing the prior generation, and I think that is sad. I’m of the mind it’s intentional. They know what they are doing and it’s as you shared, control, control in the way of being fit only for operating the machines. May God save us!!
