Tonight I want to go a little deeper and a little darker into something we have been circling for days: the establishment’s control of our potential.
For the last few days we have been talking about why we are being attacked, about potential, and about our work at Lighthouse. Today I want to show you where the establishment starts its control, how it keeps you and me “in our place,” and why our God‑given potential is the primary battlefield.
We All Live for Value – But Whose Value?
The establishment is interested in one thing: value.
But so are you. So am I.
You are interested in whatever value matters most to you:
- God’s value and God’s standards
- The people you love
- Your own life and purpose
- Your home, work, and material needs
- Your finances, retirement, investments, lifestyle
So on the surface we have something in common with the establishment: we all care about value.
The difference is this:
- The establishment is interested in their value.
- When it comes to your value and my value, they are only interested enough to keep us from becoming too unhappy or too disruptive.
We live in what is effectively a zero‑sum system: there is only so much to go around. The more value the masses gain, individually and collectively, the less the establishment gets. So they are obsessed with control.
The Dark Art of Making Us Grateful for Less
The establishment has turned control into a dark art.
They control us in ways that make us feel we should be grateful for the little we are given:
- “At least you have a job.”
- “At least you have the NHS.”
- “At least you live in a country like the UK or the USA. Look how much worse it is in other places.”
So when the establishment “gives” us something, it is often to maintain an illusion:
- The illusion that we live in a special country that is “better than most”
- The illusion that the system is basically fair and that our opportunities are enough
But the real issue is not whether one country is better than another. The real issue is that you and I should have the same opportunities to develop and exercise our potential, even if outcomes differ.
Instead, we are educated and socialised on limitation all the time.
They use:
- The media as continuous propaganda
- The school system
- The social and cultural fabric
- Even parenting norms
…to quietly teach us that we are less, that we should not expect too much, that certain ceilings are “just the way things are.”
Where Control Starts: Your Potential
The biggest area of control, where the establishment hits us first and hardest, is our potential.
Let me ask you:
- Could you name the core principles of human potential?
- Do you know what potential itself is, or what the law of potential is?
- Could you explain the ethics, standards, and cause‑and‑effect rules that flow from that?
Most people cannot. In our research with tens of thousands of people, if you ask:
- “What makes you valuable as a person?” – blank.
- “Tell me about your core potential.” – blank.
- “What is a human being?” – blank.
People’s eyes go up and to the right, trying to make it up, because it was never taught, never integrated, never modeled.
If you do not know what your potential is:
- Skill does not really matter.
- Execution and implementation do not matter.
- Action does not scale, because there is no foundation of knowledge.
This is not an accident. This is where the establishment starts its control:
They simply do not educate you about your potential.
Top Line and Bottom Line: How They Link God, Humanity, and Money
All value can be understood as top line and bottom line:
- Top line: God and human value
- TheoChristological value
- Human, relational, spiritual value
- The value of who you are before God and among people
- Bottom line: material and financial value
- Income, assets, resources
- The material outcomes of life
The bottom line is always being talked about: “What’s the bottom line?” usually means “How much does this cost?” or “What’s the financial result?”
But here’s the key:
All material and financial value is determined by the potential of the top line – your potential in God and your potential as a human being.
If that top‑line potential is thwarted through omissions in:
- Culture
- Education
- Parenting
- Media
- Social norms and trends
…then the fabric of society is weakened and, more importantly, the fabric of the human being is torn.
This is how they do it:
- They persuade you not to know God or to feel stupid for believing.
- They keep you ignorant of who you are and what you could become.
- They never teach you the law of potential and the principles of human and godly potential.
The Establishment Child vs. the Working‑Class Child
I know this personally. I was born in a sub‑ordinary economic class, right at the bottom of the working class.
Compare that to a child raised in an established family:
- They grow up as a Rothschild, a Carnegie, or the child of any entrenched establishment name.
- They are told from birth that they are special, that they have a name to uphold.
- They get a belief system of “We can do anything we need to do” (legally, and sometimes illegally).
- They are trained and mentored to carry that name forward.
The child at the bottom instead asks:
- “Where are the jobs?”
- “Where is the best pay?”
- “What can I do given my limited academic ability?”
- “How do I just survive and maybe get a bit of time off?”
Different beliefs, different education, different opportunities, different mentoring – and so you get vastly different bottom‑line outcomes.
The top line (identity, belief, understanding of potential) drives the bottom line (material and financial realities).
That is why mentoring, coaching, counselling, leadership, scholarship, learning how to learn and research, learning to face challenges and solve problems – all of that top‑line development is essential.
Why Lighthouse Set Out to Do This Work
This is exactly why Lighthouse set out, over decades, to discover, understand, optimise, and maximise human potential:
- At the level of the masses, not just for elites
- Especially starting with the working class and those battling the most
- Especially for our brothers and sisters in Christ who long to be able to say “yes” to the needs of widows, orphans, and enemies in need, instead of being held back by material and financial lack
We have over a million pages of research spanning more than four decades.
The state has tried to seize it. The BBC stole 17,000 pages of it. Yet, by the grace of God, the work survives and is now ready to come out in a way that truly serves people, not the establishment.
Through The Lighthouse magazine and our other publications, I will keep showing you:
- How media, schooling, and culture have limited your potential
- How omissions, not just actions, have damaged your sense of value
- How your potential has been stunted and severely so, starting with the fact that most people cannot even explain what potential is
Demonisation: How They Hide the Truth
One of the establishment’s most effective tactics is demonisation.
If they cannot refute the truth, they attack the messenger:
- “Paul is a bad man.”
- “His work is boring, do not listen.”
- “Do not listen to this person, they lied before.”
Whether what they say about me is true or a lie does not change whether a train is coming.
If a child killer and rapist warned you that a train was about to hit your family, would you ignore the warning because of who said it? Of course not. The truth about the oncoming train does not depend on the moral perfection of the person who points it out.
In the same way, the evidence of:
- Establishment abuse
- Media manipulation
- The stunting of our potential
…does not change just because they say I am a terrible person.
The facts are the facts. The truth is the truth.
The establishment’s control of your potential is real, regardless of what they say about me or about Lighthouse.
This Is Not About Blaming Parents
I want to be clear: this is not about blaming parents.
Across our research:
- Most parents were never taught about potential.
- They were not trained to be mentors, coaches, counsellors, leaders, or teachers.
- They were simply doing the best they could with what they had.
The root problem is upstream:
- The establishment
- The systems they control
- The culture they shape for their own interests
Generations of families have been left without a language, framework, or plan for potential. That is the tragedy.
A Call to Christians: Why Potential Matters Even More Now
Tomorrow, God willing, I will speak more about AI (artificial intelligence):
- How it is reshaping the world
- The direction secular families and citizens seem to be going in
- And why understanding and optimising potential is even more critical for Christians right now
Potential matters for every human being. But for those in the body of Christ, entrusted with the Great Commission and the command to love God and neighbour, unrealised potential is not just sad – it is disobedient and dangerous.
We must know:
- Who we are
- What God has put in us
- How to steward that potential for His kingdom and for those who are suffering
Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for this session.
This subject ought to be as staple as air and water, yet for so many it is foreign. Most people could not talk for even a minute about potential, let alone five. With all the parents, teachers, institutions, and media in our lives, this is a deep incongruity.
We repent for our ignorance and complacency.
We thank You for the breakthroughs and realisations You are giving us so that, even as adults, we can still change.
Please allow our children to learn these truths early, so that they may not need to come to a surrogate family like Lighthouse simply to receive what should have been theirs all along.
We remember especially the vulnerable – children, animals, the elderly, and all who are suffering and in danger. Please protect, bless, and grace them according to Your will.
Thank You for preserving this research through attempts to steal or destroy it.
May it now come out in the right way, at the right time, for the right people, for Your glory.
We pray all of this on bended knee and with bowed head, in full trust and faith, through Your glorious Son, Jesus Christ.

We are becoming more aware of how our relationship with truth has been fractured, not from lack of value, but from fear, weariness, and the cost that truth brings. This has affected our courage, intimacy with Jesus, and our sense of potential, which many of us were never taught to recognise or nurture.
We are realising that these limitations are not accidental; growth requires safety, rest, and a regulated state of being. The establishment often restricts access to truth and potential, while those at the top are trained to think expansively. Compliance alone was never meant to lead to freedom.
Despite these heavy insights, we feel clarity, discernment, and hope, motivated by a desire to realign with truth, conscience, and God-given purpose. Spiritual formation, especially intentional time with God, is central to restoring value and resisting limitation.
Ultimately, we are grateful—for honesty, courage, community, and God’s awakening—walking together toward truth, freedom, and alignment with who He created us to be.

Paul, your work in your soul that’s you are sharing is just on another level altogether. There’s definitely a jadedness in me, a fear of the pain where it doesn’t suit my ego to truly grow and realise my potential. A fear of pain, a fear of social exclusion, a fear of abandonment, of rejection, of isolation. But what I found with this update is like you are peering into my soul and into my past. Not just explaining the lack of education of my and our potential. It was when you drew the parallel’s of education and aspiration. How the guy at the bottom is looking for a job, maybe looking for the best job he can get, unsure of his academic abilities and how they’d get in the way of a top job…it was just, so so real. I’ve had all of those thoughts and more. To then see “the other side”, i.e. the establishment, and what they think about, what their aspirations are, is like hearing about another species, or another type of civilisation altogether. And that, as Paul’s very very clearly explained, is absolutely no accident. A friend was sharing with a few of us today, the kind of books that the establishment get their kids to read, learning about how to conquer a mass of people, how to subdue them to submit to the minority elite, was really eye opening to hear the specific books and examples. These are definitely not conspiracy theories, these are evidence-based realities that the establishment do not want us to know about at all. But God… He makes the way through the desert, through the stormy waters, for us to rise up and realise our potential that He has blessed us with.
Thank you so much for this deeply challenging and illuminating update, Paulie. Reading this helped me see where the establishment’s influence often begins — not just in systems or culture, but in the very way we think about our own potential and worth. The way you explain how value is shaped, taught, and controlled really resonated with me. It reminded me that God calls us to see ourselves and others as made in His image, with real potential in Him that no system can truly suppress.
What stood out to me most was the reminder that knowing our potential — spiritually and humanly — isn’t just about success or achievement, but about identity, purpose, and service. Too often we’re taught to settle for less, to be grateful for crumbs rather than believing in the fullness of what God has placed within us. This article didn’t just highlight a problem — it pointed me back to God’s calling to walk in truth, courage, and obedience.
Thank you for speaking into these deeper realities with clarity, conviction, and faith. This has encouraged me to reflect on my own assumptions and to trust more fully in who Christ says I am. God bless you and strengthen you in your health always 🙏
The Establishment Child versus the Working Class Child section here made me the most sad. When you think of how many people in the working class spend their entire lives slaving away to put food on the table and to make a respectable income, it is horrifying to think that not only is that person not respected, but that they were consciously and deliberately limited to be a slave in that way… wow… it truly shows that not much across history has actually changed. Only changed tack… Phew. God help us all.
The knowledge of my own potential is essential because how can I realise anything that I don’t understand or even realise I have?
This is what drew me towards Lighthouse in the first place, was the potential of realising something I didn’t know how to achieve.
Helping everyone with this realisation and seeing they are more than what the media or peers tell them they are, is essential work.
Thank you for going so deep into the roots of human potential and exposing how choice itself is withheld when people are never taught who they are or what value truly is. The contrast between the working class on the one side and how the establishment educate their own children while keeping that knowledge exclusive, is both shocking and deeply revealing.
What struck me most is how separation from God and from true community keeps people locked in survival mode, and how destructive that is for our children and society as a whole. Holding this knowledge back is profoundly wrong. God bless Paul for this courageous work and for helping us expand our awareness, our choices, and our relationship with God.
I’ve been continuing to reflect on the way I grew up seeing the establishment. Firstly it’s evident that I didn’t see it as a collective and unified force. I saw the ‘upper class’ who were those who were out of touch with the everyday person. But they were separate from the politicians, who were a whole other group and then there was the media that was independent and separate, whilst there was just ‘business’. Interestingly because I saw them all as separate groups and entities I didn’t see them as collaborative and working together to control society in the way they do.
I was very much raised to resent the upper class and hence the establishment without understanding why they were the way they are. I was made to believe that it was all about material and financial value. Meanwhile I had a conditioned belief (based on painful experiences) that material and financial value would somehow magically solve all my problems. Having the lifestyle would compensate for the weakness and inadequacy I felt within myself. Yet with all this, I had no idea that the bottom line material and financial value would flow from the top line of Godly and human value.
For instance, I started to see that I lacked the relationships I would’ve wanted and needed, but also lacked the ability to build relationships. It was, however, more debilitating than that… I didn’t have the awareness of how I could actually learn to build relationships, or that this was even possible. I was pretty much told that I was shy and quiet, so that was my fate. With that being my view of myself, the strategy became one of “I hope that someone benevolent takes pity on me and will show genuine interest in me”. In a world and culture like this, that is a recipe for disaster!!
Intuitively I felt there was an uneven playing field, but I still persisted in pursuing the game of box-ticking through the education system. I tried my best to comply, to be obedient, to work harder and yet all I found I was achieving was frustration.
Certainly I found that when connecting with guys at Lighthouse over 16 years ago there was a sense of meeting with kindred spirits. I think the biggest reason for that, looking back, was the lack of comparative hubris I saw in comparison to those from the establishment who I often felt patronised and looked down upon by.
Learning what am about the establishment, I’m seeing why myself and others have a chip on our shoulders, yet at the same time how ineffective and harmful it is to carry that burden and resentment rather than to seek first God’s Kingdom and to build Godly and human value.
Paul’s ability to understand and define the realities of the human condition, is unparalleled. I have learnt and understood a great deal about why I am where I am, why I have made certain decisions…I have been oblivious to the influence of the establishment, my parents and family, society and so on. With these articles and upcoming newspapers, I can see that there is extensive change to come within me through the application of what I am starting to learn now. God bless Paul.

What you shared is deeply valuable, the structure is so helpful in placing everything in its right position. This is surely the education that was omitted from our upbringing, instead giving us nonsensical information that holds very little value and positions us to see less for ourselves, as you pointed out. I’m feeling a lot of gratitude for this work you’re sharing, as it’s empowering us to break the glass ceiling. God bless you and this work, and us breaking free from the controlling system that keeps us slaves.
The more Paul goes into explaining the top down manipulation, subjugation and control of the masses by the establishment the more my eyes opens up to take in and process what I am the product of! That subjugation and deliberate mass limitation is absolutely heinous, dastardly and evil! Yet I and we all, to greater or lesser degree have accepted it all, more or less without question and without challenge. What I find so chilling about the establishment is seeing the levels of voracious insatiable greed that those at its height have and their lust for power and control. If it really is dog eat dog and survival of the fittest and we play that out to it’s ultimate maximum conclusion and imagine a scenario and one man is left standing with possession and control over all there is, to the point where everyone else has died as a result, would they wake up to how insane and destructive and heinous that is? That kind of tragic and dystopian destructive end is where the establishment as it is will lead us. They want to dominate and control while sustaining everything and everyone else. While the masses are a huge problem to them getting more of the value they want, they need the masses to help make them feel superior! That’s because, I believe, the satanic treacherous heart that wants to be God.They have “educated and socialised us on limitation”, as Paul says.. but I thought… imagine if from birth we were being raised by everyone around us in the most positive and upbuilding way to reach our optimum potential, how different we would all be today! Then to compare that with what we actually receive growing up and the difference between both upbringings, just imagining it, is astronomical. It’s not too late, we can and need to start working on that gap and filling the space that was left so empty by the establishment’s deliberate omissions, while holding it accountable.
This week’s updates have been stirring something inside me. There is some anger because of the way we have been duped, manipulated, and lied to, as I have said before. But the anger is there because we have been denied our potential. I say denied because we were never educated, shown how we can build upon it and make choices on the right side of choice, those that are uplifting and progressive.
What is happening now, what Paul is helping us with, along with Chris and Shaun, with God’s intervention, is allowing us to finally understand our God given potential so that we can grow and develop into the human beings that God wants and needs us to be.

It’s so much easier to “go along with the flow” as if we were a school of fish. But it’s when we swim against the current and understand how we were created and how we can work together that real potential arises. God never created us to operate alone, and yet sometimes (like in my case) it can feel like we are alone. Whether mentally struggling, physically, emotionally-all carry burdens we were not made to bear alone. Praying for those who feel sad and angry,and thank you for waking us up to the truth, Paul and others!
