Lighthouse Daily – 19th April 2026...
Editors note: Since publishing this article, we have sought legal counsel. As of the 22nd April, 2026, we can now announce the name of this individual in concern. We do so with a very heavy heart, after much consideration for them, their personal situation and for the Body of Christ. Reluctantly, we have come to this decision to name the individual, who is Christian Hacking, the self-identified “very amateur” independent Christian journalist. We are now able to share details about Mr Hacking as a major and urgent case study, for the Body of Christ to be very astute, discerning and aware of the dangers and threats that can come in the guise of a seemingly supportive brother or sister in Christ. Mr Hacking remains in all of our prayers, that he repent for the damage he has caused and the wrongs he has conducted. It is our most sincere and earnest hope and prayer that we come to know Mr Hacking as a true brother in the Spirit of our Lord.
Good day fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
As you know, we are working tirelessly on releasing a breakthrough, vital and urgent series; Targeted: Indispensable Christian Love, Unity and Advocacy in These Last Days. This has been decades in the development, research and preparation by Paul.
As God’s Word and secular wisdom tells us, we ought to know our enemy. So we must ask and answer therefore, who is targeting us?
As Christians, we know primarily, that we are targeted by Satan himself, for reasons we have explained previously regarding the diabolical satanic spirit.
We know that many institutions within governments, mainstream media and education are setting hard and fast agendas that seek to dismantle, dissipate and destroy Christians.
But there is something very disturbing and unsettling that we must address, and that is the Judas Syndrome.
This has been extremely distressing for us at Lighthouse Global to experience this first hand on numerous occasions. During the last few years we have been relentlessly targeted, attacked, smeared, and lied about by the BBC and the UK government.
Simultaneously, as each of us began our new lives in Christ, very young in our faith, we encountered brothers and sisters who helped us through the attacks on us, and who indeed continue to help us in a number of ways. We believed that every Christian would at least want to support a fellow brother and sister who was being attacked in some manner. Yet what we found was among the majority of Christians, a minority of individuals who identify as Christians, at the least, did not step forward to help us, while some wilfully sought to hurt and damage us even more. Sometimes these self-proclaimed Christians did so in the name of helping us, which is all the more evil. Indeed, a far cry from the Grown up Christianity we need.
These individuals are the minority, but they exist. Out of the 12 Disciples of Jesus Christ, there was only one Judas. Yet with that minority, the Judas Syndrome is everywhere; right now there are millions of Judases across the world. Many of these people are not actually Christians, but parade as such, when in fact they are working for the other side. They will even troll, harass and abuse other Christians online, to deliberately give Christians a terrible reputation. In doing so, they defame the name of Christ. The Bible refers to these as “tares” sown amongst the wheat (true blue Christians). And just like Judas, they come in the name of love, truth, brotherhood, sisterhood and loyalty. And just like Judas, with a kiss, a hug, a smile, they will betray you for their own selfish gains. Our Lord most of all experienced and still experiences this every single day. So as we join Him in His suffering (Philippians 3:10) we must grow up in our discernment and love for one another (Matthew 10:16).
So yes, we need to be acutely and sharply aware of the dangers that threaten us from the kingdom of darkness’ agents and institutions. But we need to be even more acutely aware of the threat within the Body of Christ. Satan has always targeted the children of God directly through sowing division, deception and betrayal —right from Eve, to Cain, to the anti-Christ himself. Therefore we must be all the more on the watch.
Some, like Judas, are wilful betrayers who will sell their souls for their own warped desires. They wilfully violate God’s laws, His guiding light principles and His hard and fast rules. They create their own rules and justify their deeds. Others, like Peter, will betray and hurt us — and we them — without malice, with great contrition and repentance. And with those Peters, through painful trials, strong, eternal bonds in Christ can and will be formed.
Regardless of the intention, if falsehoods are spread about a Christian —that record must be set straight, fully and comprehensively. It does not matter who they come from, or even if that falsehood is positive and complimentary! To allow any lies and deceit to spread about Christians is to allow the very name of Christ Himself to be smeared! We must not accept any destructive lies or any false, inflated positive statements either.
We as Christians have a God-commanded duty to uphold one another in truth and love (John 13:35). This is why we must urgently defend one another as and when falsehoods, smears and fake whistleblowing occur against our brothers and sisters. Millions of Christians right now, are being betrayed, lied about, hurt, abandoned, rejected and neglected by someone they trust, who comes in the name of Christ. That could be online on a social media platform, within their own workplace, church, or most painfully, within their own family. It is precisely because this satanic world is so dark, so dangerous and because we are so targeted, that we yearn to trust a brother or sister in Christ. So we let our guard down, we invite them into our lives, we allow ourselves to be vulnerable with them, believing we are safe with a fellow sibling in Christ. Not realising, they are targeting us, right in front of our eyes.
One of the greatest threats comes in the guise of journalism. Whether it’s the mainstream media or an independent journalist, many of these people parade as bastions of truth. They claim to be reporters, fact-finders, researchers, but in the vast majority of cases, they are anything but. A Christian journalist no less, may even claim to be of support and champion your cause, but their main priority is not you —it is their name, their reputation, their identity as a journalist, their content, their income. We become a story to them, not a real brother or sister. You’re simply a means for their income, their clickbait. These are Christian journalists who publicly defend and champion the BBC as national institutions to be preserved. The same BBC that promotes transgenderism and abuses children for decades without responsibility or remorse, minimises the murder and rape of thousands of Nigerian Christians. At the same time, they attack Christians through fake pseudo-documentaries, and refuses to label Hamas as terrorists.
In fact, we have strong reason to believe that this individual may have received payment, or been influenced in some way, by branches of the establishment, including the BBC. The aim being to gain access and insight into our community and for fellow Christians to be seen publicly attacking us. We cannot rule this possibility out. We are all praying for this individual, that they would repent in Christ and truly practice what they preach in public.
We are currently in the process of seeking legal counsel regarding one such individual we have had personal, first-hand experience with. Therefore for legal reasons we are not naming this individual at this point in time. However, rest assured that the record will be corrected fully and comprehensively in our case —and for the many Christians who fall foul of the Judas syndrome.

This is a serious message, that all Christians need to pay attention to. I’ve personally experienced this and I know that I still have so much to learn. To experience the betrayal of false friends, of those who call themselves Christian, can be excruciating. That’s why discernment and awareness is so important. This ties back to Grown up Christianity, “so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.” – Ephesians 4:14.

Reading this, I’m reminded of what it says in 1 John about testing the spirits – to be clear on what is coming out of someone, their intention and what’s in it for them. Unfortunately the grift industrial complex is real, where everyone is trying to stand out online with the “thing” that will garner an audience. If our brother does not listen in private, we must call them out in public – that is what scripture tells us to do amongst brothers so all Christians should not resemble our enemies who have no respect or fear of the Lord. Judases are everywhere and we need to be switched on without being ungracious, which is hard but we must stick to the truth, always.
Thank you for today’s update and the call to be discerning about who we invite into the sanctuary of our lives and the need in this day and age to be aware that everyone is not always as they seem. I can see why the Bible calls continually for lamps to on at all times and for Christian’s to be on their guard.
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” – Galatians 6:10
This scripture tells us that we are to do good to all people especially those who believe in Christ and yet we have among us those who would choose to sow discord amongst those who belong to Christ.
As we have been sharing through article after article, we as Christian’s are already vulnerable to the attacks of the Establishment, so the reality that those who would call themselves our brothers and sisters, would attack us, exploiting the trust they have gained through our common belief, is utterly reprehensible.
We pray that the Judas’ who walk among true believers in Christ, repent and instead care for, upbuild and love each other in Christ’s name 🙏
Thank you for this. The part about those who come in the name of helping but are actually causing harm really resonates — I’ve experienced this personally, and it’s one of the most disorienting things to navigate precisely because the intention is disguised as support.
For anyone going through something similar: don’t let it make you closed or cynical. The answer isn’t to stop trusting, it’s to grow in discernment. That experience, as painful as it is, does sharpen you in ways that ultimately serve your growth and your ability to protect others.

More and more I am finding that the last 6+ years have taught me about is betrayal. I have seen people I considered to be close, not only doubt, abandon or walk away in times of challenge and adversity, but even decide to viciously attack. One common denominator is that such people are not Christian. From studying God’s Word I have seen I can expect that and simultaneously, I have found the most supportive to be Christian.
The Judas Syndrome is, however, one of the most concerning realities that I see exist in the Body of Christ. Here we have those who confess Christ, but look for the opportunity to insert the dagger at the opportune moment.
Christ calls us not to be deceived and to exercise discernment – this isn’t just about information and interpretation of scripture, but also the character and heart condition of those around us and that we let into our lives.
This means that we need to be advocates in our life for truth.
Something that I really don’t see or hear many Christians speaking about and calling out at all publicly, but this is a really crucial message and I very much appreciate how it’s being handled here. It’s bitterly disappointing and saddening to hear whenever such a situation arises and occurs, but I am sure many many members of the Body of Christ worldwide will have had some experience of this, or will know someone who has. We must not be foolish to think that we can and will only be targeted from outside the body of those who identify as Christians. What matters most and that I think is so valuable about what Paul, Chris, Shaun and Lighthouse are teaching here, is the need to ensure everything we do is based and rooted in divine eternal and infinite laws and guiding light principles. I do pray that this situation works out as hoped for, that this can be a means for this individual and Lighthouse to become closer in the faith and love through working through this together. If God is their ultimate guiding source and they have simply become misguided, or self and mutually deceived here, then they He will guide them back to the straight and narrow path for that to happen. I know it. If not, then God will make an example of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. There is such a desperate need for Christian brothers and sisters, deeply rooted on the Rock, with a heart on fire for Jesus and truth to be strong and principled truth tellers in journalism and online content out there. Thank you for this article and for helping me to recognise the reality of the Judas Syndrome. People who betray others do exist, even presenting themselves as Christians, and it’s important not to be naïve about this.
It can be deeply sad, even painful, to realise that some individuals are not who they appeared to be, and that betrayal often comes at moments when we are already facing challenges or feeling vulnerable.
This makes it all the more important to be discerning, to protect ourselves wisely and to grow in our ability to recognise the difference between genuine faith and its imitation.
It has been eye opening feeling the reality of Judas syndrome, that some who present themselves as being Christian, in their heart are not. This is so important to grasp, in the name of Christ some will let you down and even work against you. This is not Christ’s work, it is Satan’s. It is the church hurt people experience, and worst of all is we let down our guard and trust these people because of the label they give themselves or how they seem nice.
It has helped sift the perspective, that Judas was one of twelve, so there was only a minimal number of them, but it is more likely the other way round, there are more Judas types than righteous people.
Thank you for helping me and all of us to open our eyes and be on the watch for wolves in sheep’s clothing. The fact that there are those within the body who want you to follow their way and lead us away from The Truth. I have seen that in people and now, by God’s grace, they are no of my life.
This has been told in the Bible, God has warned us of this. Warning us to look out for those wolves in sheep’s clothing.

It is always difficult to know who to trust, and especially at a time when one is being attacked already.
