A Prayer for Truth That Sets Free and the Courage to Say Yes: This prayer thanks God for revealing truth that brings freedom and growth in character and potential. It affirms a calling to love, serve, and say yes to the vulnerable, including enemies, while trusting in God’s guidance, provision, and commissioning despite opposition.

Today’s Opening Comments
For generations we were taught to read, write, and comply, but not to know our God‑given potential. This update exposes the foundation they withheld and why growing the body of Christ means breaking through the indoctrination against our potential that has kept us small.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ and Fellow Citizens,
Over the last few days I’ve been unpacking how the establishment – through schools, media, and even our homes – has systematically underdeveloped human potential and then blamed us for the fallout. Today I am going to build on that.
1. What The Establishment Never Taught Us: The Foundation They Withheld
In the updates from the 14th–16th of December, I showed how the establishment has used schooling to shape us for its purposes, not for our growth.
Here I want to zoom in on the foundation they withheld.
We were not taught:
- How to know ourselves as humans – our nature, our God‑given potential, our unique human endowments, our value.
- How to execute and implement that potential in real life.
- How to relate to God as the highest order of realising that potential.
Instead, home and school were framed around maintenance and compliance – bum‑wiping, feeding yourself, reading, writing, arithmetic – while the deeper human foundation was barely touched. At best aiming to develop a social image consciousness to serve the aims of the Establishment, not being conscious that we are made in the image of God in order to realise our potential!
If the real aim had been to give us a premium human education, they would have started here:
If you want to optimise value, then you must first optimise potential. And that means starting with God and human beings – not just literacy, not just careers.
That’s the foundation we’re rebuilding together.

2. Inside-In Work vs Outside-In Work: Why the System Keeps You Shallow
In the 17th December Update, I contrasted the inside-in work of character and conscience with the outside chase for money, image, and credentials.
Today I want you to see how structural that imbalance is.
What passes for “education” is mostly:
- Memory and performance
- Social graces and conformity
- Passing exams inside systems that were never designed for your flourishing
What’s missing is:
- Personal, relational, problem‑solving capacity
- Formation of heart, mind, spirit, and will
- The ability to see and steward your God‑given material value
The foundation has become:
Reading, writing, and interpreting – but not the formation of the human being.
Parents think they’ve done their job if a child can read, dress themselves, and get a job. Schools think they’ve succeeded if the statistics look good. Meanwhile, the actual human is left underdeveloped and then told, “Now it’s up to you,” precisely when the critical window for basic formation has already closed.
This is not just bad design. It is spiritually negligent to claim you are “doing this all for the children” while structurally blocking them from the growth that would make them free.

3. Why God‑Given Potential Terrifies the Establishment
On 16th December I spoke about why the establishment fears our work on God‑given potential, and why their attacks have been so fierce.
Today I want to sharpen that.
When they realised that we at Lighthouse were:
- Optimising potential, not just “motivating” people
- Doing it explicitly in the Spirit of God, particularly among Christians
- Planning to scale this work rather than keep it small and containable
That’s when they went into overdrive.
If you optimised the potential of even 1% of the population, in Christ, it would be devastating for them – for their resources, for their zero‑sum power model.
They have built a world on the assumption that most people will:
- Doubt themselves
- Underestimate their value
- Stay fragmented, fearful, and dependent
A body of believers who know their potential, who understand that finding God is the highest order of realising that potential, and who live that out in character and competence? That collapses the glass ceiling they have spent centuries reinforcing.

4. Loving Your Neighbour Means Developing Your Neighbour
Earlier this week I described my own twenty one‑plus years of work, pain, and research into human potential, especially in the 15th and 17th December Updates.
Today I want to connect that directly to the Great Commandment.
Jesus commands us to love our neighbour. That is not sentimental. It is not “nice feelings” at a distance.
Loving your neighbour means being involved in their progress.
Loving your neighbour means developing your neighbour.
If God wants His body to grow – and He does – then:
- Helping someone discover their God‑given potential
- Walking with them as they build character and competence
- Holding them accountable to the truth about who they are and can be
…is not an optional side project. It is obedience. That is why this work is costly, misunderstood, and yet completely non‑negotiable.

5. The Consequences for Those Who Tried to Destroy This Work
In the 15th–17th December Updates I walked through how the BBC and others lied, projected, and attacked, and how their own tactics are now turning back on them.
Today I simply want to underline one thing: they know.
They know:
- They have done wrong.
- They can’t make it right while they’re still doubling down on lies.
- The risk they thought was tiny is now approaching full exposure.
And God is not mocked.
They dug a pit for us and are falling into it themselves.
The hate they aimed at us is now turning back on them.
This is not about revenge. It is about justice, about freeing those they misled and harmed, and about making sure that the people who were already fragile do not pay the ultimate price while the guilty walk away.

6. Where We Go From Here
If you take one thing from today, let it be this:
God has not asked you to fit into a system as an automaton.
He has commanded you to grow as part of His body.
That means:
- Refusing to accept the low ceiling that school, media, and even family have put on your potential.
- Embarking on the inside-in work of character, conscience, imagination, and independent will.
- Seeing love as development, not just comfort.
- Helping others do the same, especially in the body of Christ.
The establishment has bet everything on your staying small, confused, and dependent.
Christ has paid everything for you to grow up into Him in all things.
We know which side we’re on.

Hi everyone,
We are responding from different histories and stages of healing, yet we share a deep shock and awakening. What has been articulated has given language to something we have long felt but could not name: that what was taken from us was not simply opportunity or information, but true human formation rooted in God, conscience, self-knowledge, and purpose. As this clarity emerges, it is both devastating and liberating — exposing betrayal, awakening responsibility, and renewing our resolve to walk forward in truth, maturity, and obedience to God.

Gosh. Paul so many points throughout this I felt like crying. The sheer inhuman reality of what I’ve bought into. And also, being frank how you’ve been teaching this for years. Seeing you express it so starkly in writing is piercing my soul. How deeply true this is. How the education system is not educating humans as humans but training us as puppets and robots. How God has commanded us to grow abundantly in His image. It’s both depressing, disturbing and incredibly inspiring and liberating too. Thank you for never ever giving up, selling out or running away. God bless you Paul, and every single man and woman in Lighthouse for sticking through these battles to keep moving forward despite the strong temptation to give up. God bless our Lord and Saviour. May He be glorified so so so much through this work and everything to come on the horizon. As David slays Goliath on his own sword.

The lies we have been fed, the manipulation that we have endured, all so that the establishment can indoctrinate more robots…It’s sickening.
The light is switching on, nerves are being struck, and it’s all thanks to God first and foremost, for without Him, these updates would not be possible.

Yet another power update bringing together not just the last few days’ worth of updates, but also 21+ years of pioneering, experiential research.
What’s shared here is getting to the root of so many secondary issues we see in the world today. Here’s just a selection to consider…
I used to be incredibly irritated as a child when family members identifying as Christian would point to God as the solution. Yet I see that to be the case for increasingly substantial reasons.
The establishment has its agenda and it’s only with God’s protection that we can navigate these increasingly dark and tumultuous times.
Thank you James, these are very important questions to consider.
Thank you Paul, just reading really resonated with me. Looking back, I can see how much school was about following rules and performing for others, rather than helping us discover who we really are and the potential we have as human beings. The point about “outside‑in” versus “inside‑in” growth really stood out — it reminded me how much of our true development depends on what we cultivate within ourselves and how we support each other. Reading this felt like a wake-up call to think more about nurturing our full potential, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, personally, and intellectually. God bless you and us all x x
Paul is exposing not just how thin our idea of “education” has been but that we didn’t get a foundation in the first place. The absence of any serious formation around self-knowledge, conscience, imagination, independent will, and relationship with God suddenly made sense as to why I and we develop and take so much dysfunction into adulthood. It’s not that these failed later, it’s that these were never developed to begin with.
Paul’s distinction about our home and school’s being framed around maintenance and compliance, is powerful and damning! For the first ten years of our lives, when we are in a period of unparalleled rapid brain development and the foundation of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills that influence lifelong outcomes, is being laid, we have been indoctrinated to maintain, manage and comply! And the establishment know this, they know that during these important years, we are laying a foundation, which determines how we see, who we become and what we do, for the rest of our lives. These important years are spent heavily under the influence of our families and under the influence of our so-called education system.
Our work of bringing awareness and salient clarity to what the establishment is and how it impedes our God-given potential, is a serious threat to the generations old work of the establishment to influence and shape us.
We pray as many people as possible receive our emails, articles, booklets and everything we are producing to wake them up, educate them and intervene with their children as soon as possible!
I see people who are broken by the system, every day.
Men and women who have worked and grafted their whole life believing the establishments lies that they were prepared for life.
But in truth, they were never given the tools they needed to learn about themselves, God, their own potential, the importance of relationships and a thousand other basics that everyone needs to know.
God bless Paulie for these daily updates. Today’s piece was deeply moving, from the image to the title “Education Betrayal”, it captured something that I felt for a long time but struggled to name. I really appreciated how this update connected the previous days into a bigger picture, taken together, this week has been more educational than decades of formal schooling, challenging deep conditioning and revealing how our thinking was shaped to fit a system with a ceiling rather than our God-given potential.
What stands out most is the contrast between the shrinking shadow of the establishment and the growing clarity of God’s love and Truth, above us and within us. It’s a powerful reminder that whatever happens on earth, God is in control. I can’t help but imagine how different the world would be if even a small percentage of people were truly empowered in Christ. Our kids’ education would be very different and we would see value creation and our potential very differently.
