1. Today’s Update
Good day everyone,
Today’s focus: how the BBC, fronted by Catrin Nye and overseen by Tim Davie, has benefitted from the same kind of violation it condemned in its own coverage of the Vastaamo psychotherapy hack.
We are publishing a new article today:
This piece draws a direct line between two situations:
- Vastaamo (Finland) – where the theft and weaponisation of private therapy notes was rightly treated as a national scandal covered by the BBC.
- Lighthouse Global – where confidential counselling and discipleship material, stolen by Dawn Ingram and passed to the BBC, was knowingly manipulated by Catrin Nye and her team against Lighthouse.
The article shows how:
- What people shared as research and healing at Lighthouse was repackaged as ammunition in a hostile media hit piece.
- The BBC publicly condemns the use of hacked therapy records abroad, while quietly normalising the use of stolen pastoral content at home.
- This double standard sends a chilling message: we will defend privacy in theory, but punish depth and vulnerability in practice.
At stake is not just Lighthouse’s reputation, but the wider principle that counselling, therapy, and deep discipleship are sacred ground and must never be turned into raw material for smear campaigns.
We see this as part of a broader pattern of indoctrination by the establishment: discouraging people from going deep, from being accountable, from pursuing the kind of transformation that cannot be controlled or easily labelled by the establishment’s media.

3. Today’s Daily “Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem” Example
A Warning: When the Faces Change but the Power Does Not
Comedian Jimmy Carr recently told a radio show that Britain is on the brink of a political “revolution.” Labour and the Conservatives (equivalent to Democrats and Republicans in the USA respectively), the two parties that have dominated political life for generations, appear to be losing their grip on power and control rapidly. For many voters, this feels historic and even hopeful. The idea that the old order is collapsing carries the promise of renewal, accountability, and genuine change.
But this is where caution is needed.
A true revolution is often described as the replacement of the Establishment. Yet history shows us something far more common and far more deceptive: the replacement of managers, not the replacement of the Establishment who hold the power, while giving us the illusion that the Establishment has been replaced. Governments change. Parties rise and fall. Prime Ministers come and go. But the real decision-makers who control the financial interests, corporate power centres, institutional networks, and who have unelected influence remain firmly in place.
When Labour or the Conservatives lose credibility, the system does not panic. That is either orchestrated in itself, or it adapts. The fundamental system never changes. New faces are promoted. New slogans are introduced. New “outsider” movements are tolerated, absorbed or even promoted. What changes are the stooges, the public representatives, not the elites who shape policy behind closed doors. The public is invited to believe that voting out one party automatically dismantles the system that failed them. It does not.
This is why the moment we are living in is dangerous as well as significant. The collapse of trust in the major parties does not automatically mean power is being given to the people. In fact, it often creates the perfect conditions for tighter control. Confusion, fragmentation, and public anger make it easier for entrenched interests to centralise authority, regulate speech, manage dissent, and present themselves as the only stable option left.
If the same donors, corporations, lobbyists, media gatekeepers, and bureaucratic institutions continue to write the rules, then changing the colour of the government changes very little if anything but the facade. The public may feel they have rejected the establishment, while the establishment quietly reshuffles and carries on.
The warning is simple but urgent: do not mistake political turnover for real reform. Watch who benefits. Watch who never seems to lose. Watch which interests are protected no matter who is in office. Watch out for hollow victories at the cost of your own freedom. This moment in British politics may be unprecedented in our lifetime. But unless it is met with awareness, scrutiny, and courage, it risks becoming just another chapter in the same old story: new leaders, same masters.
As we have previously stated at Lighthouse. We are not anti-Establishment. We do not want to overthrow them. What we do want is for citizens to understand the reality of the Establishment and build greater value in their lives accordingly.
4. Lighthouse Associates Consensus Feedback
The following is an excerpt from feedback that was shared with Paul by Lighthouse associates following a call with them yesterday.
As we reflect together, we’re beginning to see our own relationship with suffering in a new light — not just as a concept, but as something we live, resist, and sometimes avoid. Matthew 25 has humbled us, showing that it’s possible to “do the right things” without truly loving, and that love and suffering are inseparable in Christ. As we notice our instinctive resistance to righteous suffering, we’re also discovering hope: suffering chosen in Christ restores and strengthens us. What’s shifting is a desire to move from avoidance to obedience, from comfort‑seeking to Christ‑centred love, trusting that God is refining us not to crush us, but to free us.

The update on the two-tier system and the actions of Catrin Nye and the BBC in their documythry are powerful and deeply disturbing in that is the so-called standard they are upholding. Many need education, support, and community to bring meaningful change—for ourselves, our loved ones, and the vulnerable who should never suffer unnoticed. God bless us all. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
I really like Jimmy Carr and think he is usually politically astute. However it just goes to show how good the Establishment are at pulling the strings behind the political puppets we see.
Shocking double standard from the BBC. The epitome of ‘Do as I say, not as I do.’
The advantage the Westminster system of government has is that the ‘administration’ part of government does not change as the ruling party get voted in or out. But this has the downside that if that administration level is corrupt or inefficient, those are also carried over during a change of government.
This comparison is damning. The way privacy is now weaponised while power stays hidden exposes how the establishment controls the narrative and shields itself from accountability. It’s shocking to see how much effort goes into protecting elites while ordinary people are surveilled, judged, and manipulated. This update helped me see more clearly that what’s at stake isn’t just data or secrecy — it’s freedom, dignity, and truth itself.
People are so desperate for genuine change, that when it looks like we are getting it (on the surface) we jump at it. But as you rightly point out, we have to be mature, wise and discerning. If the political system itself isn’t reforming but we have leaders claiming to bring reform then how true can that be? When the system itself is probably flawed and broken at the least, if not corrupt?

The piece on Jimmy Carr is absolutely right. If we only look at things from the perspective of what we see on the surface we miss the more sinister reality of what’s happening. That’s what the establishment wants us to do and is counting on, to buy into their charade and get lost in the leaves rather than see what’s happening at the root, at who is really pulling the strings and who are the real puppet masters. I remember it being pointed out to me years ago how the elected governments come and go and yet the patterns stay teh same. The governing policies, the agendas and the general track of the country scarcely changes whoever is in power. And I can see that particularly over the last 25 years of my lifetime. As you say, “the public may feel they have rejected the establishment, while the establishment quietly reshuffles and carries on.” If we think that the true elites are being replaced, we are sorely mistaken. The wolves in sheep’s clothing are simply changing masks and we need to call that out. We must watch what doesn’t change, where the money goes, what process we are being led along and challenge where that is not in OUR the public’s interests, where it’s not what we have voted for. The current UK Prime Minister stands out as an example of this because he not trying to hide it as much as others have in the past. But that in itself is all part of the same game, he’s not where the buck really stops, so if he’s doing what he is, it’s because others are getting him to do so. true trust for our governing bodies and agents can only come with true accountability.
Another significant update. Front and centre we see the BBC hypocrisy where it effectively condemns its own conduct towards us at Lighthouse. They continue to present themselves as this angel of light acting in the public interest. Meanwhile they use this self-appointed position to justify theft of thousands of pages of private and confidential material from group counselling sessions and intellectual capital.
Interesting comments from Jimmy Carr, so I appreciate the commentary on this post to give perspective on what’s going on currently. I value how we’re pioneering peaceful means to empower and protect citizens in today’s world. This is not an anti-establishment message, it is obedience to God as the ultimate authority.
Given that Catrin Nye, the producer of the hit piece on Lighthouse, A Very British Cult, seems to think that life coaching is a waste of time, or something to that effect, you can see why they would treat such sacred things as material for their own gratification and agendas, wolves in sheep’s clothing. There is a sinister nature to what is going on. The amount of money and resources they have put into painting Lighthouse as a cult begs the question, why?
The point about the changing of the old guard feels like what is happening is akin to a snake shedding its skin. New skin, same snake. The same cancer remains in the political sphere because the same people are still at the top. We have to involve ourselves in what matters and become influential as citizens. Coming together as citizens, as a united body, is critically important, and we cannot underestimate that.
Thank you for the commentary on the Jimmy Carr clip because this is spot on! Every mouthpiece is a puppet of the establishment and each puppet cares nothing for the citizens whatsoever.
Thank you for this update. It shows me why The Lighthouse is needed. These examples of the establishment’s control need to be shared. If this is where they are now, where will they be in one year? Five years? Twenty years?

Another deeply powerful and necessary update, thank you. This goes to the heart of trust, confidentiality, and the abuse of power through control. Seeing how the BBC treated stolen counselling material in its docu-mythary “A Very British Cult” is genuinely shocking. It reveals how the establishment can weaponise private, vulnerable information for its own ends, exposing a dangerous double standard that should concern everyone. When the dignity of those seeking healing and truth is treated so casually, it tears at the very fabric of society.
Jimmy Carr also feels spot on in saying Britain is on the brink of a political “revolution.” For a long time now, the political system has felt broken and in need of fundamental change. There is a growing sense that the moment is ripe. God bless.
