Over the last couple of updates, I’ve been sharing with you about our forthcoming publications—Christians and the Establishment Problem and Citizens v. the Establishment. Today, I want to take you deeper into why we’re doing this work and what I’ve come to understand about the real reason Lighthouse was attacked.
What I’m about to share with you is the result of 21 years of research, and particularly the last several months of reflection on everything that’s happened to us. This isn’t speculation. This is the pattern I’ve now seen clearly—and once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
The Realisation That Changes Everything
You know, for the longest time, I was ashamed of myself for not seeing this sooner. I kept asking: Why would the BBC spend millions of pounds attacking a tiny research organisation? Why would the establishment weaponise the Insolvency Service, the media, and now the courts against us?
I was naive. I was so naive it’s embarrassing.
The truth is devastatingly simple: We were attacked because we were finding out too many truths in relation to the realisation of our God-given human potential, the obstacles to that (the establishment being a major one) and we were helping people to wake up to this.
That’s it. That’s the entire reason.
Not because of Reddit complaints about refunds. Not because of parents who didn’t like that their adult children were growing beyond them. Not because of anything Catrin Nye or the BBC claimed in A Very British Cult.
We were attacked because empowerment work—real empowerment work of human beings in line with their potential—threatens the establishment’s control mechanisms of us.
The Prevailing Paradigm We Must Understand
Let me say this very clearly tonight: There are two groups of citizens in this world. The establishment and everybody else. Full stop.
If you don’t understand this two-tier structure, you’re going to get lost in stories. You’re going to get lost in politics, in elections, in left versus right, in this Prime Minister versus that one.
You know what the media does? They keep you lost in stories so you never see the macro picture. Because once you see it, once you understand the establishment paradigm, you can never be fooled in the same way again.
Let me tell you what I’ve learned: The establishment are happy to let you empower humans—as long as it’s below a certain bar. As long as it’s at a level of control they want people at. A level of value they want them at. A level of opportunity they want them at. As long as they are in control.
But when you come along and say, “Actually, the sky’s the limit. God created you with unlimited potential in Him”—that’s when they go: “No, no, no, no, no. Our sky’s the limit. We have a glass ceiling here.”
And when you start smashing that glass ceiling, that’s when you become a major problem to them and they in turn start creating major problems for you… as they are for me and us at Lighthouse Global.
How They Control Human Potential
You want to know how the establishment controls us? It’s not just through money or laws or force—though they use all of those.
Their primary control mechanism is limiting human potential itself.
Think about it:
Through Education
As I shared previously, why isn’t self-awareness taught in schools? Why don’t they teach us about our four human endowments—self-awareness, conscience, imagination, and independent will? As I shared yesterday, why did I leave school not knowing anything about Paul Waugh? About who I really am as a human being?
You know what kept coming up when we worked with people? “Why isn’t this being taught at school?” Over and over again, people would say that. And I would wonder: Is it because our educators don’t know? Is it because they’re incompetent?
No. It’s because they’re controlling and suppressing the masses in the name of good, which is just unadulterated evil.
Through Family Structures
What the establishment has created is family units that are designed to keep people at the level they’re at. Mini-establishments. Little fiefdoms.
Satan has done this very powerfully—created lots of little dominions where even if you’re at the bottom of society, you can at least be king of your own house. Your own family. They wear it like a badge of honour. “I’m the king of my castle.”
Meanwhile, they’re in bondage. Complete bondage to the establishment. But they don’t see it because they’ve been given this little kingdom to rule over.
Through Mainstream Media
The establishment controls narratives through mainstream media outlets like the BBC, using carefully crafted propaganda, manipulative editing, and ad hominem attacks to discredit anyone who threatens their control. They keep people lost in stories—focused on surface-level politics and divisive issues—so they never see the macro picture. The media isn’t there to inform; it’s there to program and distract, ensuring citizens never realise their true potential or understand the systems that control them.
Through the Self-Help Industry
Here’s something that shocked me when I realised it: The self-help industry—the personal development industry—intentionally lacks mechanisms for action.
They’re quite happy to have self-help books exist. They’re quite happy for people to read them, feel inspired for a week, and then do nothing. Because actual empowerment—actual follow-through—threatens establishment control.
That’s why when someone like me comes along and says, “No, we’re not just going to read the books. We’re going to apply them. We’re going to create mechanisms for action. We’re going to bring groups together and help people actually realise their potential”—that’s when the establishment comes after you.
The Zero-Sum Mentality of the Kingdom of Darkness
You want to know what really terrifies them?
If you took just 1% of the citizens globally and developed them into billionaires, or even just multi-millionaires then that would be a major problem for the establishment.
Because in God’s economy, there’s abundance. There’s plenty for everyone. Value can be created exponentially.
But Satan doesn’t work that way. Satan creates value cabals—zero-sum piles—and then dominates them through principalities and powers.
In the kingdom of darkness, Satan operates through what Scripture calls principalities and powers. Ephesians 6:12 makes this crystal clear:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
This isn’t metaphorical language. The Apostle Paul is describing the actual structure of Satan’s kingdom—a hierarchy of demonic forces that operate through earthly systems, institutions, and structures.
The establishment is the material manifestation of these principalities and powers. When you see institutional corruption, systemic oppression, the suppression of human potential—you’re not just seeing human evil. You’re seeing spiritual wickedness in high places working through earthly vessels.
This is why our battle isn’t primarily against the BBC journalists, or individual politicians, or even specific establishment figures. They’re not the root problem—they’re symptoms. Manifestations of deeper spiritual realities.
Understanding this changes everything about how we engage in this fight. We’re not just exposing corruption or challenging injustice. We’re engaged in spiritual warfare.
What are principalities? They’re the primary spiritual essences behind territories, systems, structures.
What are provincialities? The material outgrowth of the spirit. It’s a spirit per province. A province is not limited to geographic locations, it relates to all areas of life and business. The systems, the structures, the mechanisms, the culture.
The establishment is the material manifestation of demonic principalities and powers. That’s what we’re dealing with here.
And when you’re a Christian realising your God-given potential? You represent an absolute, 100% danger to them. Just that. Just somebody doing well is a devastating danger to them.
That’s what I’ve learned. That’s why the attack on Lighthouse makes sense now.
Why Christians Are the Greatest Threat
Let me connect this directly to Scripture for you, because most people who identify as Christians don’t see this connection.
The Bible talks about Satan’s world. It talks about the Antichrist. It talks about an abomination coming out of the temple.
It is very likely that The Antichrist is here right now. He’s part of the establishment. From old money. Very, very old money.
And it’s not just an Anti-Christ—it’s the counterfeit Christ. The Bible says the Anti-Christ even performs miracles. That’s how people are taken in.
But here’s what most Christians miss: Satan doesn’t so much head governments as he establishes them. He runs those governments. He controls who we worship, who we love, if we are allowed to pray.
When you understand this—when you connect principalities and powers to concrete institutional realities—everything the Bible says about spiritual warfare makes sense.
And you realise: A Christian realising their potential in Christ is the establishment’s worst nightmare.
Because truth sets people free. And free people can’t be controlled, especially when that freedom is built on the rock that is truth itself.. Christ.
Why the Timing Is Perfect
Now, you might ask: “Paul, if this has been going on for centuries, why does it matter that we’re revealing it now?”
Here’s what I know: 10 to 20 years ago, if we’d released this research, it would have been branded a conspiracy theory. We would have been dismissed.
But now? At the time we’re in now? With everything people have seen with COVID and many other establishment citizen control and subjugation strategies, with the media’s obvious manipulation, with the way institutions have behaved?
This is the worst possible time for the establishment for this information to come out.
And they know it. Our enemies know it. They’re going, “Oh my word. They’re so on point. We thought they’d just attack the BBC. We thought maybe they’d go after some journalists. But they’re hitting us at the very top. Right all the way to the old establishment. The puppet masters we don’t even see on the rich lists.”
The timing is not inspired—it’s directed. God’s perfect timing.
We Are Finding The Elects
You know what the best thing that’s come out of all this is?
We are finding The Elects.
Who are The Elects? People who, irrelevant of indoctrination, are God’s chosen ones and who are very, very sensitive to reality and truth.
They’re out there. And when this information reaches them—when we connect the dots between the establishment’s suppression of potential, the spiritual warfare described in Scripture, and the concrete institutional attacks people have experienced—they get it immediately.
Parents are going to read this and think, “So that’s why my children have been through this. Now I see why.”
People who’ve been attacked by the establishment in various ways are going to read this and go, “Oh. Oh. That’s what’s been happening.”
The Concentration Camp With Capitalist Flavour
Someone asked me recently: “Paul, what do you call the system we’re living in?”
Here’s my answer: It’s a concentration camp with a communist-capitalistic flavour.
The degree to which we, through establishment indoctrination, are in bondage to it—psychologically, spiritually, in every area of our lives—it’s so much a part of our existence that we don’t even see it.
We think we’re free because we can vote, because we can buy things, because we can move around. But those are illusions of freedom within very carefully controlled boundaries.
And if you’re getting caught up in all the noise and chaos the establishment creates, they’ve won. Because even when you’re fighting them, if you’re not focused on realising your potential, they’re distracting you from the very thing you need to be focused on.
This Is Not Anti-Establishment—This Is Anti-Satan
Let me be very clear about something, because I know how this will be twisted:
I am not anti-establishment. I am anti-Satan. 100%.
There will always be an establishment. There will always be people who are more established than others. God is an establishment. Satan is an establishment. But they’re very different beings who do very different things.
The establishment are my mission field. They’re not my enemies to be destroyed. They’re souls that need to hear truth that leads to repentance.
But I’m not going to let them continue to deceive and destroy the vulnerable, the children, the Body of Christ. They presented themselves to me. They came to me. They attacked me and showed me their dirty underbelly.
And now I understand: Coming up with silly stories about what I’ve done or haven’t done—trying to assassinate my character—it doesn’t change what I’m saying. It doesn’t change the truth.
That’s called an ad hominem attack. Attack the character to avoid addressing the truth. It’s the establishment’s primary tactic because they can’t refute what we’re actually saying.
Getting to the Root
You know what Thoreau said? “There are a thousand men hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.”
If I could get just one out of every thousand people to strike at the root—to see the macro problem instead of getting lost in symptoms—that would be a massive achievement.
Because most people don’t. Not even close. They’re hacking away at leaves.. branches at best. Complaining about this politician or that policy. This journalist or that article.
But they’re not asking: What’s the endemic root of the chaos? What’s the macro problem behind all of this?
You can’t solve a problem unless you understand it. And you can’t understand a macro problem if you don’t look at the macro.
It’s like trying to solve a problem with your spouse because you’re arguing—but the reason you’re arguing is because you’re competitive. And the reason you’re competitive is because you’re insecure. And the reason you’re insecure is because you don’t have trust. And the reason you don’t have trust is because your marriage is outside of God.
It’s not the arguments, or what the media is force feeding you. It’s what’s behind it. The macro problem.
This is what Lighthouse is about: Making this clarity. Showing it. Proving it. Teaching it.
What’s Coming: The Publications
As I shared yesterday, we’re bringing out two critical publications:

This will show Christians:
- How the establishment systematically suppresses God-given human potential

This secular version will show everyone:

- How the establishment controls through education, family structures, and cultural programming
- Why the self-help industry intentionally lacks follow-through mechanisms
- How to recognise establishment tactics and resist them
- How to organise as citizens to reclaim our potential
Both publications represent 21 years of research. They are priceless, eye-opening, soul-liberating work.
Our Credibility Is Built on Getting It Wrong to Get It Right
As I shared in Sunday’s update, there’s a difference between reputation and credibility.
The establishment has attacked my reputation. They’ve told hundreds of provable lies through the BBC and other outlets.
But they haven’t touched my credibility. Because credibility is built on character and competence, not social perception.
My credibility comes from being willing to be wrong in order to be right. From that pure place deep in my treacherous heart that God preserved. From 21 years of doing the work, making mistakes, learning, repenting, and trying again.
They can’t take that away. And the results of that credibility—this research, these publications, the awakening that’s coming—will prove it.
A Call to Awareness
Brothers and sisters, here’s what I need you to understand:
If you don’t see the world through the establishment paradigm—if you don’t understand the two-tier structure—you can’t see clearly. You can’t even see comprehensively, never mind clearly.
You’ll see this very opaque, narrow, shallow view of everything. Little boxes of very little.
But once you see it? You’ll never unsee it.
You’ll put on any program like A Very British Cult and within five minutes your eyes will roll. You’ll hear the manipulative music. You’ll see the propaganda techniques. You’ll recognise the ad hominem attacks, the carefully maliciously edited footage, the narrative manipulation.
And you’ll understand: This isn’t journalism. This is the establishment’s mouthpiece doing the dirty bidding of their masters.
They’re Terrified
You know one of the many reasons I know we are on track?
Because those who have tried to destroy us are terrified. The Fire Arrows of Truth are decimating their deceptions..
The BBC journalists Catrin Nye, Jamie Bartlett, Natalie Truswell, Ravin Sampat and their sources like Jeffrey Leigh-Jones who are involved in attacking us—they are realising they’ve been thrown under the bus. They’re going to their bosses saying, “You’ve got my back, right?” And the establishment is saying, “ummmmmm….”
They thought we’d just go away. They thought the process would destroy us. Drain our finances, our energy, our health, our families.
And it has been devastating.. The last two years especially have nearly destroyed me physically.
But here’s what they didn’t count on: We won’t give up. Even if it’s only me standing, I will never, ever give this up.
Because this isn’t just about Lighthouse. This isn’t primarily about clearing our names or getting justice for ourselves.
This is a problem for the world. This is a world problem that can only ultimately be solved in Christ, however we have a commission here, and I will never stop serving my Lord until the end of my days here on this mortal coil. God speed Your Kingdom my Lord.
Closing Comments: Moving Forward
Over the next several days, we’ll be releasing an introduction and overview to these two publications. We’re translating it into several hundred languages because this message needs to go global.
We’re looking at January or February for the full release, health permitting. And we’re setting up a pre-launch subscription so people can be notified the moment these publications are available.

Once you see the establishment paradigm, you can’t unsee it. And that’s when the real awakening begins.
Be dangerous in our Lord to the corrupt, to the evil, to the slanderous, to those who use lies to destroy lives by loving your/our Gods enemies by holding them accountable to the truth and to reform.

We are recognising with clarity that what has been shared illuminates a reality many of us have sensed but could never fully name: the establishment is not a slogan or single group, but a layered, intergenerational system that favours a small minority. Understanding this helps explain much of our lived experience.
We are confronting how deeply this system has shaped our fears, assumptions, and sense of self-worth, often stunting our God-given potential. Yet there is gratitude, because light is breaking in. Education, media, legal frameworks, and cultural narratives were not designed to cultivate discerning human beings, but compliant workers and consumers—explaining the resistance to work that recentres conscience, truth, and Christ.
Alongside humility and fear, there is quiet confidence that real progress is being made. God is using even our stumbling and frustration to guide us with discernment. Scripture on principalities and powers is no longer abstract; awareness is urgent, and ignorance is no longer an option.
Courage—speaking plainly, drawing boundaries, appealing to conscience—is vital. Above all, we are grounding ourselves in Christ, trusting that all progress and impact are directed by Him. Our potential is sacred, our choices matter, and our responsibility is real.

Hi everyone,
We find ourselves arriving at a shared but multi-layered clarity: what is being revealed through these updates is not merely insightful, but fundamentally explanatory. It is helping us understand why powerful institutions—particularly the BBC, the Insolvency Service, and the wider establishment—would devote such disproportionate energy and resources to dismantling what, on the surface, appears to be “little old Lighthouse.” The scale, persistence, and coordination of the attacks no longer feel mysterious to us; they feel diagnostic. The response itself is revealing the nature of what is being threatened.
Across our reflections, we recognise a growing awakening to the reality of the world we inhabit. Many of us are learning—sometimes uncomfortably, often humbly—that those most willing to pursue truth at real personal cost are frequently Christians, motivated not by outrage or ideology, but by The Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are repeatedly encountering stories of people prepared to sacrifice reputation, career, safety, and even family relationships rather than betray conscience. When Christians, inspired by the Holy Spirit, refuse to give up and begin to find one another, something quietly formidable emerges. We sense that this convergence—faithful, persistent, and relational—is deeply destabilising to the establishment.
We also acknowledge a strong strand of discernment around evidence and substance. We are learning to distinguish between superficial labelling and rigorous truth-seeking. Some of us resonate with the experience of not grasping every technical detail, yet still recognising when arguments are grounded in dates, facts, actions, and coherence rather than assertion or branding. This has sharpened our understanding that truth is not validated by institutional reputation, nor invalidated by dismissal or ridicule. Evidence, context, and integrity are becoming our reference points, not media narratives or inherited hierarchies of credibility.
Another strong voice among us reflects on education, media literacy, and conditioning. Many of us were taught to believe that distinctions between “quality” and “tabloid” media, or between different forms of education, constituted critical thinking. We now see how much of this training operates at the surface—playing with leaves rather than examining roots. We recognise how systems prioritise external knowledge over self-understanding, shaping people to function within machinery rather than develop discernment, agency, or human potential. This dehumanising tendency appears consistently across education, media, and technology, while the establishment maintains its own insulated continuity.
A crucial distinction we are collectively grappling with is the difference between understanding isolated truths and understanding the whole. Many people can see corruption or deception in one domain—science, medicine, law, politics—and that insight is genuine. But without a framework that connects these domains, people remain trapped in fragments. We are recognising that the establishment can tolerate partial awakenings, isolated whistleblowing, and endless controversy, as long as the underlying structure remains unexamined. What feels different here is the provision of a map: a way of seeing the whole maze rather than becoming lost in individual corridors. This macro vision is allowing the micro to finally make sense.
We are increasingly aware of how deeply we have internalised illusions of freedom—particularly through democracy, choice, and representation—while remaining confined within tightly managed boundaries. Many of us now see how little actually changes regardless of surface variation, and how these systems function to keep people occupied, divided, and contained. This has sharpened our understanding that control is not primarily exercised through force, but through perception, distraction, and fragmentation.
Spiritually, we are converging on the recognition that these patterns did not begin in modern institutions. They trace back to the Fall. An establishment rooted in a satanic spirit will inevitably produce distortion, control, and suffering, even when clothed in benevolence or progress. At the same time, we are careful not to collapse reality into absolutes. We believe there are faithful individuals within these systems, and that part of our calling is to recognise them, reach them, and help them serve Christ from where they are.
We resonate deeply with the vision of the Body of Christ aligned in humility—zero degrees in Christ. We see how this alignment breaks both old and new chains, not through domination, but through clarity, love, and rightly ordered boundaries. We are learning the difference between having boundaries imposed upon us and setting and protecting boundaries in Christ. That distinction feels both sobering and empowering.
Running through all our reflections is a sense of momentum. Some of us express this as power, others as renewal, others as surrender—even physical weakness that feels symbolic rather than accidental. We sense that understanding the sum of the problems is not paralysing but liberating. It opens the possibility of real change, not just resistance. Gratitude permeates our responses: gratitude for the depth and endurance of the research now being shared, for perseverance under sustained attack, and for a God who has not abandoned humanity despite centuries of destruction. We remain profoundly aware that He still loves, still reveals truth by His Spirit, and still calls people into freedom through Christ.
Taken together, our collective voice is not uniform, but it is coherent. We are thoughtful, sobered, grateful, alert, and increasingly grounded. What we are encountering feels timely, clarifying, and deeply consequential. It feels disruptive—but also orienting. Above all, it feels true.

Absolutely incredible update from Paul!!! Sho’ shoshosholoza 🙌 What he shared has brought Ephesians 6:12 into such sharp focus for me — a real shift in perspective. Almost like finally being able to zoom out and zoom back in at the right moments to see what’s really going on.
Reading Paulie say that he would never give this up, even if he were the last one standing, stirred something so deep in my heart. He truly is a soldier in Christ, and I’m genuinely grateful, honoured, and (in a healthy way) proud to stand alongside him in this fight, with Christ and everyone here.
What really struck me was the reminder that we can’t just fight the system outwardly — if we’re not also working on our own growth and potential, then the enemy has already succeeded in distracting and duping us. Thank God for truth being brought into the light so clearly.
Once again, what was shared was even more profound than I expected. It’s helped me see what true freedom really is — not how the world presents it, but what it truly is in Christ, and only in Him. Thank You, Lord, for God the Father, for Jesus, for the Holy Spirit, and for Your mercy and blessings every single moment. Just to be alive, breathing — wow. I can feel the truth piercing through.

This is an incredibly powerful update. It explains yet more about why the BBC, the Insolvency Service and the establishment as a whole will invest millions in trying to destroy ‘little old Lighthouse’.
By the day I am learning more and more about the reality of the world we’re living in because of what’s being uncovered by those seeking truth. It is not a coincidence that many of these people are Christians… driven by The Way, The Truth and The Life. I am hearing more and more humbling stories of those who’re willing to reveal the truth and do whatever it takes. Christians inspired by the Holy Spirit, not willing to give up and now connecting with brothers and sisters in Christ are the establishment’s worst nightmare.
I appreciate this education process that’s opening people’s eyes for those who are genuinely seeking truth. Evidence, facts and context are key to this search, not superficial brands and reputations of individuals or institutions.

Another powerful update, so needed. To know our true enemy is key, and especially with it being Satan, he’ll shift our perspective to believe it’s something or someone else. We don’t hate the system, we hate who is corrupting it and running it, Satan. We don’t hate or fight man. Once the basic view of ‘the establishment and the rest of us’ is seen it can not be unseen, and so many questions begin to be answered. Questions like ‘how come highly educated politicians, make such awful decisions?’ And ‘why is nothing ever seems to change no matter who we elect?’
It because the establishment doesn’t want the individual to be empowered for fear of their own demise.
The depth of analysis in these daily updates is incredible exposing the deeper structures of our world. What resonated strongly for me is how education and media avoids addressing the real divide between the establishment and everyone else.
By focusing on external knowledge while neglecting self-understanding, these systems end up dehumanising people and limiting human potential.
Understanding that makes it clear why the BBC and (other) government organisations attack us and others who are committed to empowering human beings and to break free from those chains set up by the establishment.

Thank you for explaining and helping us all realise why the establishment paradigm is so important for aligning us with a full perspective of truth and reality. It’s helping me realise more why that macro vision and understanding is so necessary to be able to understand my/our limited purview and to avoid getting lost in the comparative micro stories. Those situations and circumstances that we see in our own lives and those we are being bombarded with every day by the mainstream media. This filters and distils the vision to be able to see those more micro problems within the macro problem, the chronic underlying root issue that explains the acute. This is about looking at the whole root system itself, not just one of the roots.
This is giving us a map, a way to quickly get through the maze because we can suddenly start to see the whole maze itself. It’s getting the picture to the jigsaw puzzle from the front of the box we’ve been missing and therefore understanding every piece that much better and in context with the rest. What I realise is crucially at the heart of this though is our relationship with our human God-given potential, because all this satanic deception, control and manipulation is designed to limit, undermine and destroy that, of all things, most of all. We really need to have that why clear in our minds, to really understand the what of the establishment and how they’re going about the things that they are.
There are so many out there who have suffered and are being persecuted and abused at the hands of this establishment but who aren’t linking those experiences and situations to the whole establishment problem itself enough yet. That’s why what Paul is doing here is so profound and important in helping us all get the bigger picture, and with that, the threat and danger to ourselves and each other as a result so we can come together and stand against it!
It is rare to find anything more powerful than knowing where you stand in yourself. Paul knows exactly where he stands with evil, exactly where he stands with the establishment and most importantly where he stands with God. This is a nightmare for the establishment! We now need as many citizens as possible to become empowered… through education, through addressing our ignorance of the establishment and as importantly, consuming the critical wisdom and truth these publications will deliver! May God be with us 🙏
It makes sense that the establishment reacts so strongly not because of surface issues, but because real human and spiritual potential challenges the system that keeps people bound and limited. Understanding the two-tier structure, and how education, media and institutions shape our thinking, brings a clarity that we all desperately need at this crucial time. God bless us and help us all.
