3. Today’s Daily “Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem” Example
A Warning: Two Rules — One for Big Business and Government, Another for Everyone Else
The Post Office Horizon IT scandal has rightly been described as one of the worst miscarriages of justice in UK history. Yet recent developments reveal something even more troubling than past errors alone: a system in which the powerful evade real accountability, while ordinary people are left to pay the price.
Fujitsu, the multinational company behind the faulty Horizon computer system that led to hundreds of subpostmasters being wrongly prosecuted—some imprisoned, many financially ruined—is now refusing to say how much it will contribute towards compensating its victims. Its European boss told MPs the company is “not a parasite”, even as Fujitsu continues to earn hundreds of millions from government IT contracts.
This is not a minor disagreement over figures. It goes to the heart of unequal justice. Thousands of subpostmasters lost their livelihoods, homes, reputations, and in some cases their freedom, because software errors were treated as evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Dozens tragically took their own lives as the scandal dragged on. Yet today, the company at the centre of this catastrophe refuses to commit to a clear redress figure, relying instead on vague assurances and future inquiry reports.
Meanwhile, the UK government continues to award lucrative contracts to the same company—effectively funding both sides of the equation. Taxpayers are left to shoulder a reported £1.8 billion compensation bill for lives destroyed, while Fujitsu has still not publicly committed to how much of that cost it will bear itself.
This is a pattern we must pay attention to. When big business and the state protect one another, ordinary citizens are left carrying the consequences. People who trusted that their jobs and communities would be protected were punished through a mixture of incompetence and corruption—or as we describe it, incomporruption. Those responsible retain government contracts and profits, while justice and compensation move at a glacial pace.
Ask yourself this: would a small business, sole trader, or ordinary employee be treated with such leniency if they had caused comparable harm? From our own experience at Lighthouse, we know the answer. We were scrutinised over a micro-fraction of the sums involved here compared to Fujitsu (click here to read more about the tyranny of the Insolvency Service against Lighthouse).
When a corporation benefits from public funds yet evades responsibility, we are witnessing a two-tier system—not only of justice, but of commerce and profit. One system protects those with power and connections; the other punishes those without.
This is not just about compensation. It is a warning about a broader pattern within the Establishment. They pursue targets that either serve as examples or are perceived as weak and isolated—whether high-profile figures or ordinary individuals like the subpostmasters. They rely on citizens lacking reach, influence, resources, and networks.

What happened with the Post Office subpostmasters is absolutely abhorrent — yet another example of the institutional evil and incomporruption described above. Thank you for sharing this, bringing it to everyone’s attention, and outlining the sequence of events. I an we are grateful for this daily update and the attached article. May God have mercy on us and bless us all. Amen.
Why is this so common!!! Giants get away with it, while the common man suffers. What stands out is not just the scale of the Post Office scandal, but how predictable the aftermath has been—delays, vague commitments, and responsibility quietly pushed elsewhere while lives remain damaged. The contrast between how Fujitsu is treated and how small organisations or individuals are treated is stark. Many of us know what it’s like to be scrutinised relentlessly over small sums or minor errors, while vast harm caused by powerful institutions is excused as complexity or misfortune. There’s no one strong for the small man, every day I value the work Lighthouse is doing empowering the man, by building community and empowered people within.
It’s very similar to the Hillsborough victims, and I’m sure many, many, many more… those who ought to be held accountable walk away in the shadows. While the victims are punished, squashed and oppressed just through the process itself. Knowing that men and women suffered so much to the point of ending their lives is outrageous and a consequence of evil! God bless the subpostmasters, the Hillsborough 97 and the many more voiceless. Time for Citizen Intervention and the Private Prosecution Service.

Justice should mean justice for the sub Postmasters, and not just a political apology.
Fujitsu needs to make its wrongs right.
This is why giving the small man a voice is the vital work of The Lighthouse.
An incredibly insight into the pathology exhibited by Catrin Nye and the BBC described through one of their flagship shows, The Traitors. Given the BBC’s history of propadanda and abuse, t’s very revealing that one of its most successful shows is based on rewarding those who lie and deceive.
Meanwhile we see the example of Fujitsu and the Post Office’s treatment of everyday citizens who dedicated their lives and livelihoods to serving the British public as subpostmasters. It’s disgraceful that Fujitsu is not willing to take responsibility for the lives that their errors have ruined and even ended.
Meanwhile the amount of cover-up and denial by Fujitsu, the Post Office and the government show all the more reason for needing Citizen Intervention Global and The Lighthouse as the ways and means to unite citizens peacefully and intelligently. How much unnecessary suffering could’ve been avoided if there was a global body of citizens to intervene?
What happened with the Sub postmasters was terrible enough. The fact that the people responsible are still evading accountability is an absolute disgrace. This isn’t justice, this is cronyism and incomporruption as the piece says. It’s disgusting. Thank you for making the crucial good point that, if this were a smaller organisation or private individual responsible for destroying people’s lives like this, they would have been taken to task by the system. However, the establishment is again showing us that they do not act in the public interest, they only act in their own interests.
Thank you for this update that exposes the same pattern running through media, government, and big business: protection for the powerful and punishment for the vulnerable. Whether through BBC wrongdoings and lies or the Post Office scandal, this is a system that evades accountability while ordinary people suffer. Truth, clarity and courage are desperately needed to stop the abuse from establishment organisations. May God strengthen all who stand for justice and truth, whatever the cost and whatever it takes!
Atrocious what happened in the Post Office scandal and the depth of cover ups. Some peoples lives destroyed, while the perpetrators continue to make millions. Worse the government just sit back. Who is the scapegoat? I hope this case never goes away and that those responsible are eld to account!
Absolutely Samuel, wrongs need to be made right
What struck me most here is how the BBC’s “unintended confession” sits alongside the ongoing injustice done to the postmasters. While institutions protect themselves and manage narratives, real people have had their lives, livelihoods, and reputations destroyed. The contrast is painful. This piece shows how silence, half-truths, and evasions don’t just hide mistakes — they prolong suffering. The postmasters deserve truth, accountability, and restoration, not media games. Thank you for making that so clear.
One of the most incredibly heartbreaking things about the Postmaster’s is that many are still awaiting compensation for this injustice and some passed away before they received what they were due. We pray they receive their justice in full and no matter how much the BBC have affected our health and wellbeing, no matter how they have tried to destroy us, we will not stop until there is justice, reform and compensation for their attacks on us.
What happened to those people whos lives were destroyed by what happened with the sub postmasters was disgusting.
These are human beings.
Yet another show of the control the establishment have.
