Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
How many people become journalists because, somewhere within them, they are drawn to having extraordinary power over their fellow citizens?
The power to say, in effect: I can destroy your life right now.
That question must be asked — not only about what the BBC did to Lighthouse Global, but about the heinous Life Destruction carried out through journalism across the board. A broadcaster can select its target, construct a false public identity around that person, transmit it to millions and leave fellow citizens to carry the life destruction into families, churches, workplaces and communities.
The journalist does not need to directly dismiss you from your job, end your relationships, close your opportunities personally, or even end your life (by your own hand or someone else’s!). The story can mobilise others to do it. Because of the Establishment’s attacks on Lighthouse Global, two of our associate partners attempted suicide, and we have had numerous death threats, along with our children being stalked. These are real-life, destructive consequences put in motion by the Establishment and catalysed by the BBC.
Accusations are spread and amplified by people who have never tested them. Suspicion becomes social permission. Human life destruction is treated as the natural consequence of “reporting.”
That is the machinery of Life Destruction.

And we must ask what kind of institutional culture attracts, rewards or protects those who want such power.
What happens when journalists learn that they can scrutinise and sensationalise the lives of fellow citizens before millions while escaping equivalent scrutiny of their own motives, methods, omissions, sources and responsibilities?
For too long, the BBC has traded on the authority and trust of a national broadcaster while producing sensationalised, he-said/she-said hit pieces that place accusation above evidence and narrative above truth. Its familiar programmes try to preserve the appearance of a respectable public institution while its journalism can exercise devastating power without meaningful accountability or an effective and complete right of reply.
Our Lighthouse Global case against the BBC is significant because it gives us a concrete body of evidence through which to expose this machinery. But this campaign is not only about us. It is about every citizen who can be selected, publicly branded and made vulnerable to the destructive force of an institution with global reach.
We will bring forward what the BBC broadcast, how it constructed the false public record, what evidence was available, what it omitted and rejected, and what happened to the human beings it placed in its sensationalised story. The personal and collective open letters will restore those human beings to a record that reduced them to simulated characters in a sensationalised hit piece.
We do this under the authority of Jesus Christ. Love does not require us to pretend falsehood is harmless or to leave destructive power unchallenged. It requires us to tell the truth, seek justice, protect those being harmed, call those responsible to repentance and refuse to become destructive ourselves.
Christ did not surrender truth in order to appear peaceful, nor did He reproduce the evil He confronted. So we will look, test, pray and stand. The machinery of Life Destruction does not have the final word. Jesus Christ has overcome death and the world through His Atonement.

There have been so many lies spread about us, and they are finally being outed and put right in the public record. Thank you to Christ for carrying us through this tumultuous journey, and to Paulie and everyone here at Lighthouse, as well as those outside of Lighthouse, for their support. I really appreciate that Lighthouse is using its own experience to expose something much bigger than itself, while remaining committed to truth, justice and constructive love rather than becoming destructive in response. Turn the other cheek comes to mind here. Most importantly, I believe the determination to look, test, pray and stand is exactly the right response, because no institution or narrative should have the final word over a human life, Christ does.
What the BBC, as the mouthpiece of the Establishment, is doing to ordinary citizens is really outrageous and evil. To have an organisation that allows life destruction and produces content that leads to life destruction, while forcing people to pay for it through a licence fee, is satanic. The BBC needs to be held accountable for its actions. God bless.

This statement is critical and brings me back to Proverbs 6:16-19. It is mentioned twice that lying is detestable to God and if God finds lying detestable, then we must find lying detestable too. The Life Destruction that results from lies is not something we can take lightly or ignore.
God bless you. Thank you for your prayers…What you have shared about Life Destruction rings so true, and I say that because I know what it is like to have my life run for me. Not being able to make a decision, but being told what I think and feel. Now, seeing it further in the way we were educated, and how the media decides what it is that we read and hear. There are so many stories that we do not hear that we need to. This is what you are allowing us to see. Helping us to understand how an organisation like the BBC have suppressed the truth by lying to the public…As you have said before, the record needs to be corrected.
Regardless of the diabolical establishment machinery put in place to keep people down and in the dark, the truth, God’s own truth, is far far greater and everlasting.
Connect with Him, grind out the truth from the dross you are fed, and you will see and live in the light.
This update calls out what I’ve witnessed firsthand in my experience with the BBC. One thing I’ve learnt is that when you or your organisation is presented in a negative light by the mainstream media, then you will receive death threats.
I’ve also had myself being photographed in public as well. That’s before I go into the effects on my personal and professional reputation.
Mainstream media journalists, like Catrin Nye, act as if they are judge, jury and executioner with a sheer lack of awareness of what being put into the public domain does. Yet hold up the mirror so the light shines back at them and suddenly they’re very uncomfortable.
Something society doesn’t ask and speak about enough is how much power is held by the press and the media and its ‘journalists’ and how much that power can be used diabolically for Life Destruction. We put limits on people taking drugs, owning weapons, watching and listening to certain things to protect people, but where are the protections against overwhelmingly powerful slander and reputation destruction!? What recourse is there for ordinary people with next to no reach against multi-billion £ or $ media corporations and their agents who can spread lies to hundreds of millions of people in moments!? In a world where so much power is abused the media ought to be the most stringently regulated industry of all.
It often feels like journalists working for the mainstream news outlets live in a world of their own, totally divorced from reality where they have no idea of the life destruction consequences they can inflict simply by “doing their job”. It is a diabolical job in a diabolical industry.
I remember people walking into the BBC when we were protesting there, where we were asking them to listen to their conscience, and one woman walked passed and genuinely said non-sarcastically “I don’t have a conscience”. No truer words have been spoken by a BBC employee…
Thank you for highlighting the astronomical powers that “accredited” journalists have. Because the courts are so fearful of being seen to interfere in the freedom of the press they are in effect given licence to be a law unto themselves.
