Lighthouse Daily – 14th April 2026...
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22)
Good day fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
Yesterday we shared a crucial and vital message for the Body of Christ – that we urgently need to grow up in Christ. Christianity is grown up. It is the only true path to growing up in this fallen, satanic and endarkened world we live in.
I want to reiterate to my brothers and sisters, this is not a nice-to-have. This is an urgent alarm I am sounding. We are right on the cusp of the Great Tribulation that the Bible has foretold for millennia. Scientists are increasingly (finally) catching up with God’s Living Word and declaring too, that we are heading straight for an Armageddon; a final phase of self and mutual destruction. As we shared just over two weeks ago, what scientists have dubbed as the “Doomsday Clock” is currently at 85 seconds to midnight — the closest it has ever been to global catastrophe since its creation in 1947.
Why do you think the most powerful and wealthiest people in this world at the top tier of the Establishment are developing massive underground bunkers?
They know what’s coming.
For us at the bottom tier, we urgently need one another in community and in Christ. Because before the Great Tribulation comes, we are living through what we call, the Big Tribulation. Just ask our Nigerian brothers and sisters, if they are living through hell on earth. What they are going through right now (and have been for decades) is, as the Bible tells us, what every human being will experience at worse and worse levels for years to come. Persecution, famine, war, rape, murder… as we have said before, we as Christians have been, are being, and will be targeted.
We are in a time of massive tumult. Whether it is an economic crash, a political upheaval, civil unrest, international war, a global pandemic, famine… all the pieces are in place. To think we can carry on as normal would not only be foolish and ignorant, it would be directly disobedient to God, because He calls us time and time again to be sober-minded, ready and on guard.
“So then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.” (1 Thessalonians 5:6-8)
I implore you to read this article again, in more depth, slowly, with more self-awareness. Use it as a study for where you are. Reach out for help if you are stuck or not sure how to get the mentoring, coaching or counselling you need.

If you don’t know Christ as your Lord and Saviour yet… I urge you to face reality, ask the questions you need to. Take a look at yourself, at this world and those scamtologists who rule it. Thank you for this update and powerful message and video. The speaker encapsulates a deeply uncomfortable but much needed reality check. That we don’t have a free licence to just be and do what we want – we have to develop ourselves despite being so imperfect to be on the road to perfection – though I know in myself how much I resist that.
Thank you for another reality check. It is so frustrating to have been so conditioned and indoctrinated to being so anti value. This is essential, this community, this work of Lighthouse and developing purpose built communities in Christ. We need this for the Body. I am grateful to hearing this message that God does not love me as I am nor does he want me the way I am! He wants us perfect and gives us every opportunity to grow up. Lord, please raise us up in Your mercy and intervention! Thank You, Amen.
Amen…I know I don’t appreciate what God truly does for me, and what He wants for me. What that speaker was saying in the video, God bless him. God wants us to grow, to learn from our mistakes and make them right. Christ states in Matthew 5:48
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Thank you for this clear message and reality check about the times we live in. It is time for Christians to grow up and to come together and to become whole, so we can serve those who are suffering during these times of real turmoil and I pray for their protection.
As Christians we know these are not uncertain times. We are in fact very certain about where this world is headed and what the culmination of that will be, in Jesus’ return and victory over Satan. Which means things aren’t going to get better before then, but only worse. I’m grateful for Heath Evans’ message and how on point that is. He shows how, in these terrible and worsening times, we ALL need a saviour more than ever. They are seeking to make certain parts of the bible illegal to be preached publicly in Canada. How long until it’s illegal to be a Christian anywhere, full stop!? As a Body of Christ, we need to be ready.
Thank you, the video is extremely powerful and the grace of God, despite our rebellion, is something I take for granted every second of the day.
I appreciate the much needed reality check of what we are now seeing in the world and why we as Christian brothers and sisters, need to be connected and in community with one another. Our Nigerian brothers and sisters, our Sudanese brothers and sisters and many, many more, need to know that they have a solid, united community which they can call on. I pray to You Father that Your will be done and we can honour this gift of community and the gift of Your Grace and mercy 🙏

The reality is far worse than any of us realise, so facing what is coming together in Christ is the only sensible way ahead.
Thank you for this update and that article as truly brilliant. I so appreciate the wake up call and you’re right – Christians need to be ready, and not only do those who don’t know Christ need to be told, and need to be warned but at some level the love and fear of God needs to strike them simultaneously to see what’s coming and where they are headed but that Jesus paid the ultimate price for them to be saved. Because He wishes all to be saved and come to Him in repentance, but many won’t.
This is such an important article. I remember being made aware of the Doomsday Clock through our research at Lighthouse almost a decade ago. At that time it was around 2-3 minutes to midnight and the closest it had been since its inception back in 1947. Given the variety of trends we’re seeing individually and collectively, it is not a surprise to see that we’re the closest to humanity wiping itself out than ever before.
It’s looking at things like this that confirm the accuracy of scripture, rather than reject it. That’s why I appreciate the video and the message shared by Heath Evans. Christianity is not a simple “Jesus loves you” belief to make you feel better. I’ve been learning and humbled by the reality of the Gospel.
Let’s be real… politicians, entrepreneurs, scientists and celebrities aren’t going to save humanity and the planet. This is a satanic hope and lie. As events get more challenging, we need to come to Christ. It will get harder, but we’re speaking about eternity, not a few years of fleeting pleasure on this rock.
