1. Today’s Update
Good evening everyone,
Thank you for your prayers and support over these past days, weeks, and months. We have some important updates to share regarding our publications and the upcoming launch of The Lighthouse at the end of this month.
Changes to the Daily Updates
Going forward, the daily update will sit within The Lighthouse framework. The magazine and its circular will be our main channel for all communication—routine updates and urgent messages alike. Everything we have done, are doing, and plan to do will be shared through The Lighthouse first. Our aim is to move from simply informing to equipping you with practical knowledge and steps, helping The Lighthouse become a trusted alternative to establishment media.
The Daily Updates will continue to offer essential spiritual and educational value, including:
- A daily prayer from Paul
- Ongoing reflection on “The Citizen/Christian and the Establishment Problem”
Extended articles and core content will now be featured exclusively in The Lighthouse, while interim notices or urgent updates will appear in The Lighthouse Circular.
The Launch of The Lighthouse
The first edition is scheduled for release at the end of this month. The Lighthouse is more than a news magazine—it is a podcast, a movement, and a community, designed as a practical, action-focused publication. Rooted in devotion to Christ, it helps Christians understand how the establishment shapes media, politics, and growth, while building character and competence across faith, heart, mind, body, and everyday life. It is not just something to read, but something to use.
We will be sharing more details soon, including the cover and subscription opportunities.
As we prepare for this significant and prayer-dependent launch, we ask that you keep us in your prayers—that we remain focused, faithful, and obedient to what the Lord is calling us to do.

3. Today’s Daily “Citizen and the Establishment Problem” Example
Rupert Lowe Holds Tim Davie Accountable – A Warning on the BBC: Trust, Truth, and Public Money
Parliamentary exchanges took place on 9th January 2026, between Rupert Lowe MP and Tim Davie, the outgoing Director General of the BBC who was forced to resign in disgrace recently because of the BBC lies against Donald Trump. These exchanges have laid bare further lies of the BBC which relate to the trust the public have of it and the value it offers for money.
Tim Davie continues to insist that trust remains high and that the organisation delivers unique value for money. Yet evidence Rupert Lowe presented tells a different story. Younger audiences are increasingly disengaged, turning away from the BBC as a primary source of news and information. When only around half of young people rely on the BBC at all, claims of broad public confidence begin to ring hollow.
More troubling is the pattern behind this decline. The BBC repeatedly asks for more funding while defending a structure that is bloated, inefficient, biased, lacks accountability and is resistant to genuine reform. In an age where digital platforms have radically reduced costs and overheads, the BBC continues to operate as though scale and staffing alone guarantee quality. This is not innovation; it is institutional self-preservation. This can be seen in instances such as its journalists such as Catrin Nye spending thousands of pounds of tax payer money on unnecessary production costs such as being filmed on the London Underground which can cost £2,070 per hour. Now imagine this one relatively subtle example of wasted money being replicated across thousands of broadcasts per year. The wastage is tens if not hundreds of millions of pounds which is paid by you, the licence fee payer.
The concern is not simply about money. It is about credibility. When a publicly funded broadcaster downplays its failures, overstates its trust levels, and dismisses criticism as misunderstanding, it risks misleading the very people who are compelled to fund it. A monopoly sustained by compulsory payment has little incentive to confront uncomfortable truths, particularly when those truths threaten its influence and authority.
The BBC insists it exists to serve the public interest. Yet too often, it appears to act in its own institutional interest, defending its size, its funding model, and its narrative power, even as public confidence erodes. When a broadcaster funded by the public begins shaping reality rather than reflecting it, trust does not merely decline; it collapses.
This is a warning. A media institution that cannot acknowledge its loss of trust, refuses to adapt meaningfully, and continues to demand public money under threat of penalty is not serving democracy — it is shielding itself from accountability. Public trust cannot be asserted. It must be earned. And public money should never be treated as an entitlement. If the BBC wants to remain relevant, it must stop telling the public how trustworthy it is — and start proving it.

4. Lighthouse Associates Consensus Feedback
The following feedback was shared with Paul by our associates at Lighthouse in response to yesterday’s daily update.
We are realising, together, that what God calls a “big deal” is almost the opposite of what we have been trained to fear and protect. Comfort, reputation, safety, and even our own plans feel enormous to us, yet they shrink beside the call to love, obey, and stand with Christ when it costs us. That reversal has been confronting, humbling, and strangely liberating. Many of us see how far we still are from this, and yet we also feel a deeper wanting being stirred — not just to be willing, but to actually want to suffer with Him.
What has landed most deeply is the truth that love and suffering cannot be separated. Any love that costs nothing is not love; it is flattery, convenience, or self-deception. We see now how much of our upbringing, our culture, and even our perception of Christianity has been shaped by avoiding pain rather than choosing growth. The four steps Paulie has been teaching have given us language for something we have always felt but never understood: growth only happens when we choose the discomfort that truth requires.
This past week has also exposed how deeply flattery runs through the world — and through us. We have been taught to inflate ourselves and others, to prefer being liked over being real, and to be soothed instead of told the truth. Seeing how destructive that is, both to the one who flatters and the one who is flattered, has been a bitter but necessary awakening. We are learning what it means to value what is best over what merely feels good.
Going into this week, we feel the gravity of what is at stake — not just legally, but spiritually. We are not as naïve anymore. We know the establishment protects itself, and we know it is capable of injustice. And yet, because of what has been shared with us, many of us feel more grounded, calmer, and clearer than we did even a few days ago. We are learning how to prepare ourselves emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, rather than hiding behind hope or fear. Whatever happens, God is not absent from it.
More than anything, we are starting to grasp what it really means to belong to Christ: not to be spared from suffering, but to be found faithful within it. We want to grow into people who can really love, really serve, and stand for truth without needing to be flattered, numbed, or shielded from reality.
Whatever comes this week, we are not walking into it alone. God is our refuge, our fortress, and our teacher. And we are learning, together, how to suffer with Him — and therefore, how to love.

Hi everyone,
We find ourselves in a heavy, in‑between place—where fear, gratitude, clarity, and resolve sit side by side. Preparing for court, and even for the possibility of prison, has stripped away illusions, making the small graces visible again and turning our attention back to God rather than self-preservation.
We are realising the difference between being willing to suffer and actually wanting to follow Christ wherever that leads. Our avoidance, self-focus, and cowardice are evident, yet we also see God moving powerfully—through conversations, strangers, and testimonies of faith in persecution. The Spirit works most where the cost is highest.
This journey is teaching us that the real battle isn’t with men or institutions, but spiritual. Accountability and compensation signal a shift from denial to consequence, yet justice must never become vengeance. Internally, God is exposing patterns of avoidance and immaturity, showing that transformation requires obedience, discipline, and choosing the narrow road daily.
We sense that this path is not meant to be safe, popular, or tidy. Resistance confirms we are walking the road of the apostles—misunderstood, at odds with comfort, culture, and institutions. Whatever comes next, we trust God to use it for His glory. This feels like a threshold, not an ending—an adventure with Christ demanding everything, and offering something far more real in return.
We are deeply grateful for one another, for the prayers, preparation, and honesty shared. We walk together, anchored in truth, compassion, repentance, and obedience, letting God shine through in all things. x x
Tim Davie lying through his teeth and squirming. How he can use the words trust and the BBC in the same sentence is beyond me. Good on Rupert Lowe. Seems like Mr Lowe actually cares for the country and its citizens.

Thank you for updating us about how you will be structuring the way you communicate with us moving forward. I know that personally, I can’t wait for the launch of The Lighthouse because it will connect thousands upon thousands of a Christian’s work wide because of what it will represent and bring 🙏
It’s by God’s timing that everything that is happening with regards to the BBC is happening now. It’s no surprise that more and more people are moving away. It’s now in the publics interest to move away, and the BBC only have themselves to blame.

It is damning to see Tim Davie and the BBC be so easily dismantled and pulled apart.
Yet, meanwhile, they continue to operate on the basis of expecting the public to increase their contribution to an organisation that abuses criminalisation and sentimentality to receive much of its funding by the public.
The fact that people are forced to pay for a service they don’t want or need is ludicrous.
Once again I reiterate that I loved and trusted the BBC growing up. However its position has become untenable. Broadcasting news that’s biased but presenting it as impartial is propaganda and it’s criminal. But to also be indoctrinating our children with woke ideology is actually abusive. That’s before even getting to the malicious intent in trying to decimate us and our work at Lighthouse, or indeed the multitude of child sexual abuse perpetrated by BBC staff.
What Rupert Lowe shared around the BBC not needing more resources but more intellect hit the spot! Catrin Nye and the BBC obtained 16,000+ pages of our research and it produces a hit piece rather than a report on the incredible breakthroughs and insights into human potential that we’ve made through much work and self-extension.
The case for a Class Action grows by the day…
Thank you for announcing the launch of The Lighthouse magazine and circular. It feels deeply needed to have a genuine alternative to establishment media. What I especially appreciate is that The Lighthouse is more than a news publication and that it is focused on becoming a movement and a community.
The combination of sharing knowledge while also enabling people to put that knowledge into action in their day-to-day lives, to serve others, build value, and live out truth, is really incredible.
The mentioned debate between Rupert Lowe MP and Tim Davie once again shows the troubling state of the BBC: its growing loss of trust among younger generations, its declining viewership, and its continued resistance to taking responsibility for its wrongdoing. We have experienced the consequences of the BBC’s failures, misrepresentation, and falsehoods firsthand.
It is time for change. God bless.
It’s incredible to see how much the public have woken up to this, and that so many people across the UK alone have stopped—or now refuse—to pay their licence fee. Given what it is going towards, and the cover-up of institutional evil, it’s really no surprise.

As truth moves, we change. It is good to see progression happening. People who have a genuine care for society will be happy that it is developing. Fakery, such as the BBC, has to be countered, so that people have the truth. I am not surprised that Tim Davie was talking about the BBC being value for money, when people are moving away from it.

Such great news about The Lighthouse. This is such a significant time for Lighthouse’s work and giving the world this means to learn from the decades of profound in depth research done here. It will be anything but “boring” to quote those at the BBC’s assessment of it. This is not only “a podcast, a movement, and a community” but it’s going to help people learn and take new knowledge into meaningful and empowering action through the support, tools and systems built around it. Roll on 2026!
I loved Rupert Lowe’s point about X and cost cutting and how Tim Davie either ignores or clearly doesn’t get the point. Look at NASA that was publicly funded and massively wasteful and inefficient, compared to SpaceX that has achieved far more at fractions of the cost. The BBC doesn’t need more money, it needs thorough public accountability if not to be scrapped altogether. Everyone listening to Davie knows he’s talking absolute rubbish. The BBC have lied and gaslit the public for so long we (rightly so) don’t believe them anymore.
The changes to the daily updates and the launch of the Lighthouse feel like a fresh, strong step forward in clarity, purpose, and focus. I appreciate how these shifts aren’t just cosmetic — they sharpen what we’re about, help us lean deeper into truth, and give us a structure that supports real spiritual growth and understanding. I’m grateful for the leadership, vision, and courage behind this direction, and I’m looking forward to walking into it with everyone. God bless.
