1. Today’s Update
On Monday we explained how we are the biggest scammers in our own lives.
Yesterday we showed you the devastating reality of following what most people believe is true and false, instead of what actually is true or false.
So the reality is, through the sheer volume of friends, colleagues, family, and forces such as advertising, TV shows, music and academia, there are more influences and factors in our lives, and in most people’s lives, driving us in the direction of what’s popular and false, than what’s actually true, real and right.
Let’s take education for example.
How many of us would quite confidently say that we received a decent education?
It might not be “the best”, it might not have even been to the so-called “highest level”. But most of us went to school, sat in class, were taught English, Maths, Science and a few other subjects at least.
But here’s where we scam ourselves…
Almost all of us know that we’ve hardly used that education. We might even joke with our friends how we can’t remember the exams we passed or failed, nor the raft of subjects taught in school. How many of us remember those maths equations drummed into us? Or the soliloquies from Shakespeare? Or exactly how World War I was started? And don’t get us started on what we didn’t learn that we ought to have in relation to our human potential! Which is even more of a heinous and chronic tragedy than not remembering information that was drummed into us.
For most of us, formal schooling was at the very least, 7 years of our lives, if not closer to seventeen years which cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of pounds! How much of that was wasted?? Yet if we are stood in a queue at the shops for 5 minutes longer than we expect, we can start complaining (even if that’s just in our heads) like the world is coming to an end!
So why aren’t more of us outraged and indignant that so much of our lives, especially in the most formative years, was wasted?
Because everyone else got the same deal, right? So it’s normal.
That’s just… the way… life goes…
That’s the scam we buy: We were robbed of years of our lives, unprepared for the world, and because everyone else was robbed, we accept it as normal.
We scam ourselves..
The result is we think we’re educated, clever, intelligent, when actually, we’re nowhere near where we want to be or what we are capable of. And so we compromise every day. We’re ok with wasting a few hours here or there, doom scrolling or binge watching, having the same conversations we always do with a slightly different flavour.

Our work at Lighthouse has been and is in stark opposition to this global systemic scam sold to us by the Establishment. It is the last thing that they want scaled to the masses, and the very thing. This is why they attacked us relentlessly and why we give our deepest thanks to God for His protection, His mercy and His guidance. For decades young people have been told the same promise: work hard, go to university, get a degree, and success will follow. But what if the system selling that promise is quietly failing them?
In a recent street interview, students struggled to answer basic questions: How many years are in a decade? Some answers ranged from 100 to 10,000 years.
These are not complex questions — yet many people that have left school and even graduates cannot answer them.
After 15–20 years in education, how can this happen?
The uncomfortable truth is that modern education may be producing credentials without real knowledge, graduates without wisdom, and a generation increasingly disconnected from their own potential.

Several of us felt a personal sting around family dynamics and grooming — the way indoctrination works closest to home. It was sobering to see how often “love” in a dysfunctional system is really control dressed up as virtue: being cast as the problem for not “playing nice,” being pressured to disclose when privacy is actually protection, being kept in the role of child so someone else can keep the role of authority. That’s when the call became deeply personal — not an abstract critique of society, but an awakening to how abuse gets normalised, how guilt gets instilled, and how we’ve been trained to doubt our own moral instincts. Seeing that more clearly didn’t produce arrogance; it produced sadness, and in some cases relief — because it reframed our progress as real. Exceeding what our parents modelled, stepping out of the inherited stupor, and choosing integrity under pressure is success, even when it’s bittersweet.
We also felt the seriousness of the responsibility that comes with seeing more. There was a sober recognition that knowledge isn’t neutral; it carries risk, it invites opposition, and it demands maturity. Some of us noticed how easy it is to assume others are searching for truth the way we are — and how painful it is to realise most people aren’t.
And even with the heaviness — even with the disgust some of us felt at the state of the world, and the fear of children growing up in it — we’re not left with despair. We’re left with a more grounded dependence: that only Christ, and only God’s Spirit, can generate the kind of inner revolution we’re talking about. We don’t want to be people who “know” and still don’t change. We want to awaken together, to keep choosing what is true and constructive, and to keep caring for each other as we learn to live this out — shoulder to shoulder, under God, with growing courage and love.

God bless all of us who have suffered under the delusions and illusions of what we thought love was. Too often, these things are not questioned deeply enough, and many young people grow up without even a basic understanding of what love truly means, as explained here.
It’s a tragic state that humanity finds itself in, and this kind of work—helping us rediscover our true human potential—is so deeply needed. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you. It’s not enough to just hear the reality once or a few times. It has to be deeper than that. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but to accept and grieve over a childhood that was effectively scammed and robbed from me, is what it is. In the name of being a good person and a good member of society. The more I look back, reluctantly, at the schooling I received, the more of a tragedy I feel it is. And if it were not for Christ, it would be deeply depressing. He can and does change us to have new life.
What’s scary is that when we see someone who is regarded as a master in their particular area of expertise, we put them on a pedestal because we can never see that we ought to be an equivalent in our area. We aren’t taught to learn to love the process, just the results which are mediocre – what craziness.
Yep! This is profoundly true. We are scamming ourselves in so many ways because of the scam of social proof. I remember my parents saying things to me about following others like, “if so and so jumped off a cliff, would you do that too?”, but the irony is we all do in so many ways. How are the government able to tax us as much as they do, how do we put up with so many encroachments on our lives by authorities taking more from us and controlling us more intensely, yet we do nothing because no one else is really doing or saying anything. It’s mad and I think everyone knows that school is largely a waste of time, we barely remember what we learn because we don’t apply it and we don’t generally apply it because a) we weren’t taught to make it relevant to our lives and b) we generally don’t need it in the first place! Yet we then call ourselves “educated” — It’s such a scam!
I can relate to this update a lot. I remember how special and hopeful I felt with the prospect of being the first in my immediate family to go to university. It was the reward for hours and hours in front of books, isolating myself in the name of building a life. I remember pulling a couple of all-nighters to get the best possible mark for Geography coursework. Not only that, but it achieved public praise from family.
Yet after the university experience complemented by work experience and travel, I had no money, nowhere to live and no idea who I was or what I was doing with my life. I literally had to go back to square one in my mid-twenties!
So in line with my experience of feeling let down, I sought to find the ways and means to prevent the next generation of students experiencing what I did. However, I learnt that a multitude of factors were involved and I was powerless to change an education system that needs to change. Now with my understanding of Establishment, I see that this was never going to happen…
The word imperceptible really captures it. The most dangerous shifts rarely look dramatic — they happen slowly, through small compromises and ideas that seem harmless at first. Before long, what once would have been obvious deception just feels normal. That’s why vigilance matters so much. If we’re not actively paying attention, it’s frighteningly easy to drift without even realising it.
So, so, so spot on. People will mourn if the bus is five minutes late but are oblivious to the amount invested in their education and how little they’ve got across all those decades in education. People have been so dumbed down that they can’t see the wood for the trees. They can’t see what is important…Ie’ve been educated that way.
Thank you. We need to understand who we are as human beings in every dimension body, heart, mind, and spirit, yet this is often missing today. We learn many facts through our so-called education, but afterwards we often still have little idea what life is truly about or which direction we ought to take.
Instead of growing into healthy, mature adults, we become automated, simply existing, following routines, and becoming more easily influenced or controlled by prevailing systems and institutions. For the sake of our children, it is crucial that we change this and help them grow with a deeper understanding of life, responsibility, and what it means to be truly human.
Alongside the scan of teaching us what we don’t need to know, is the social acceptance of being stupid. Another norm the media push onto us is the idea that being clever is uncool and being stupid is ok and normal!
When I think about how little time we have on this earth and how many years have been stolen by the Establishment, how many we have been scammed out of, it makes me even more determined to ensure as many people as possible receive and use our work to break free of these scammers.
We are told not to question, indoctrinated into believing that questions are bad. When we were children, and we asked questions, we were told to be quiet, told we were insubordinate, so we stopped. This is where the indoctrination from school carries on into our adult lives. We don’t understand because we don’t ask the questions we need to.
